"Tch!" Miko snarled, disfiguring her smooth face for a moment's time. "Stupid mutt challenging me." She spat out as the werewolf howled at her. She slid gracefully into the shadows seperating herself and Ashling from Jaysin. She was not the type to fight head-on on normal occasions.
Oh, no. Miko used the shadows to her advantage. She was small and quick. Harder to get ahold of. She would seem to slide from shadow to shadow as if part of them. A natural born ninja, she was. The errant thought made her smirk.
She laughed quietly from one spot before zipping to another. "Do you really think..." Zip to another spot. "...That a pup like you..." zip to his other side. "...Could cause me andy harm...?" Zip to another point in a tree. She was moving as quickly as she could and as silently as she could, trying to confuse him.

He slid down the same slope she had, looking around as he got to the bottom. He could hear her loud and clear but couldn't see her. Every now and then he would catch a quick glimpse of her as she darted from one shadow to the other. It was hard for him predict where she was going to be because well, she was too quick.
Crouching down, he waited until he saw her again before lunging himself out at her. It was a failed attempt. He got nothing but a gush of cold air and damp leaves under his paws. He growled loudly in utter frustration. Now it wasn't a game to him anymore.
Letting out another challenging howl, he followed her scent and quickened his pace. He was determined to catch her. Tear her apart. He was growing sick of running around and just wanted to feed. Wanted to sink his fangs into the vampire's flesh or the human's. The human.
Jay nearly forgotten about Ashling. She must have been in the cave if she wasn't on top of it. Stopping, he turned back around and darted towards the cave. It would be much easier for him to get to the human rather than the other creature of the night.

Miko sighed in releif that she was closer to the cave than Jaysin. She knew lycans could be distracted easier on a full moon, but she knew they would not be fooled for long. She turned, sprinting for the cave as quickly as her feet could carry her and within moments, she was at the cave. Miko placed a hand on the stones and inhaled Ashling's scent. The girl was at the entrance to the cave. She would hear everything. Miko winced. Now she would have to be carefull, or the himan girl might get upset.
Miko looked around herself, trying to find anything that would be of help to her. Anything that might slow Jaysin down. The moon was high in the sky at this point and she knew she needed to work harder to keep him away from her for a few more hours. Night didn't last long in such a sunny climate. She wasn't sure what they would do once the sun came up. She no longer had a jacket to cover herself from the destructive lights. And her parasol was miles away. "Damn," Miko hissed.
Now freshly angry, Miko reached down and picked up a boulder as if it were nothing. She spun in Jaysin's direction and let the boulder fly from her fingertips. It was headed straight for Jaysin's path, and would land at the same time her reached the spot if he did not change course.

Going in the same direction he had just came from, Jay ran excitedly to the gave not expecting the vampire to notice his change in direction. He figured she was still hiding off in the shadows of the trees trying to fool him but now, he felt, that he was fooling her. He should have known better. Vampires are much more clever than people like to think.
Ashling's scent was getting stronger and stronger as he neared the cave again. It was driving him insane. All he wanted to do was finally eat. He was getting to the point where he would dig his fangs into anything. It didn't matter if it was Miko, Ashling, or a small animal. He just wanted to get rid of the hunger.
He wasn't paying much attention to the path ahead of him to notice the boulder that was heading straight for him. Once it made contact with him, he let out a sharp wince in pain and fell to the ground. Even though he was a rather large wolf, the boulder was enough to knock him out but only for the time being.

Miko blinked, surprised. Had she actually got the wolf? She had expected him to see it. 'I mean...' she thought, "...IT'S A FRIGGIN' BOULDER!!! What are you? BLIND!?" Miko called up to the now unconscious wolf. She sighed and began rocking back and forth on her feet, not sure if she should do what she was thinking about doing...But she needed it. And so did he.
Miko took off in the direction of her parasol and tucked it into her skirt as she sniffed the air expirimentally. There were two...no. Three deer traveling in a clearing just a bit away from her. Within moments she was upon them, snapping their necks and dragging them away. Two legs were in her right arm and one in her left. Hopefully he was hungry enough he would just accept this and calm down.
Miko managed to find him and arranged the deer in front of his snout. She thanked God she was fast enough to get there before they cooled even one degree. She easily rolled the boulder away from him and slid back down to the cave. She bent and started lightly flinging tiny rocks up at the werewolf, hoping he'd wake. She was very gentle with these, trying to wake him istead of cause him harm.

It wasn't long before the scent of the now dead deers filled Jay's nose and danced about in his lungs. Slowly, he fluttered his eyes open feeling the light tapping of the rocks against his head and snout. He felt lost and confused for a moment but quickly caught onto where he was. It felt as if he had been out for hours rather than a couple of minutes. He shook his head a bit, letting whatever rubble was left in his fur fly off before scooting himself forward, sniffing the deer.
Moving his gaze over to Miko, he looked at her questioningly as he stood up. Why was she helping him? At the time he didn't understand and he didn't understand why she was protecting the human. Ashling. No matter, he now had something to eat in front of him and he wasn't going to let it go to waste.
He was tempted to lunge himself at Miko instead but it worried him. She might throw another boulder at me. Hesitant at first, he bit down at the first deer, keeping his eyes fixed on Miko but once he felt comfortable he began digging in. Every now and then he would shake his head, tossing the deer about playfully like a rag doll. All he was was an over sized puppy.

Miko croutched down, wrapping her arms around her knees. Her eyes were wide and focused on the werewolf as he ate. She would have been slightly amused had she not still been wary. Miko glanced down the cliff to the cave below her and quickly back up to the werewolf playing with his food. After this, it should be safe...Maybe...
Miko was sure that it was the same for lycans as it was for vampires. They just went crazy because they were hungry. She would keep shoving him full of deer for as long as she needed to. Miko glanced up at the moon. Hmm...Looked like it wouldn't be too much longer.
Miko stood slowly and backed toward the cave. She stood upone the rocks guarding Ashling and waite for just a little bit longer, hiding in the shadows. Her parasol was no longer tucked into her skirt, but in her hand. It was still some hours yet, but she was not going to be burned to death. Oh no. She would hide under that parasol and in the cave all day if she had too.

It seemed like seconds rather than a minutes for Jay to finally devour all the deer that Miko had set before him. He wasted no time consuming all but the bones. His ears perked up, hearing Miko's footsteps as she moved away but he paid no attention to her. There was no need to anymore. He was too full now.
Just like a dog would, he let out a whimper. Not from pain or discomfort but in pleasure. He was happy now that his belly was filled. It was relieving not having to chase anyone or anything anymore. Finally he'd be able to relax. He walked over to the area Miko had been sitting at and laid himself down. He felt exhausted.
Looking up towards the moon he wondered how long it would be before the sun came up. Not that it really mattered to him at the moment. He was enjoying himself in this form even if he wasn't fully aware of much that was going around since it was his first change. Unfortunately for him, it wouldn't be the first time he wouldn't be aware of his actions while he changed during a full moon.

Miko stood for about an hour staring before she slid farther down until she stepped in front of the cave. She looked over it carefully. She wanted to open only a small hole, big enough for her to squeeze through. She wanted as little temptation for the mutt as possible and as little light entry as possible.
After studying it for a couple moments Miko found the appropriate bounder near the top of the pile. She climbed up and very gently pulled the bolder out of the pile. She waved away the resulting dust and set the boulder down next to her hole. It provided extra shade from the morning sun. Miko reached into the cave and pulled herself carefully into the cave, being louder than she normally would be so that Ashling would hear her and not be startled.
Miko slid down to the bottom of the pile inside the cave and reached for Ashling, who looked up to Miko with wide, frightened eyes. Miko smiled gently at the red head and reached for her, stroking her cheek and jawbones with her finger tips. "How are you, My Sweet?"

Ashling jumped at every rumble, every hiss and every growl she heard through the rocks. She could hear Jaysin's howls and thought they were beautiful. She desperately wanted to see him. She had been amazed by how beautiful he had been. It was strange to see something so beautiful and so horrifying at the same time. But then Ashling thought about Miko. Another beautiful and terrible creature.
Ashling was leaning upon the rocks when she heard Miko crawling through to see her. That ment it was over. There wasn't anymore danger. Ashling looked up at her, scared. Did Miko hurt him? Was he ok? "How are you, My Sweet?" Ashling swallowed at the cold fingertips along her cheek. "I...I'm ok...Is..." Ashling paused.
Ashling stood, leaning over the short vampire. She clutched the cold hands between her own warm ones and inhaled deeply to calm herself. "I want to see him. Is he ok? Would it be safe for me to see him...?"

As he looked away from the moon he moved his head in the opposite direction of the cave, no longer interested by the scent that was emitting from Ashling or Miko. He was amazed himself as to how full he was. Before, he thought he was hungry enough to eat a lot more than three mere deers but fortunately for everyone else, his hunger was not as bad as he really thought. He slowly closed his eyes and rested his head down against the ground.
He stuck his tongue out and licked some blood off of his snout before finally falling asleep. His beautiful silver fur was now matted with blood. If he hadn't played around with his food, it was certain he would have left his fur clear of blood but he was having too much fun. He was just like a puppy.
As he slept he dreamt of different things. From Sonia to Ashling to shows he had performed. He even began dreaming about his parents back home in Japan as well as his cousin, Miya. He dreamt that he had revealed himself to family and friends and they had abandoned him. All had except for Ashling. She seemed like too sweet of a girl to ever do that to him.

Miko was very reluctant to let Ashling go outside the cave, but Ashling begged and Miko simply couldn't resist. So, after Miko had climbed out of the cave and stood guard, Ashling climbed out(with Miko's assisstance) and peered over some of the rocks toward Jaysin. Miko insisted on keeping a hand on Ashling the entire time. Ashling did not mind.
Ashling was careful and slow, not maknging any sudden movements so as to not startle Miko into tearing her away from the silver-haired wolf. Ashling's eyes were wide with wonder as she crawled slowly toward Jaysin. He was beautiful. And even peaceful if it had not been for the blood on his fir. At the sight of the blood Ashling gasped and looked up at Miko worriedly. Miko pat the girl's red hair and pointed toward a pile of bones off to one side.
Ashling looked at the ones and relaxed. Deer. Jaysin was not hurt.
Ashling got very close to Jaysin, an arm's length away and reached out. Her fingertips ran over the fur on his back leg. A small smile appeared on her lips as Miko tensed even more, her cold eyes trained on the lycan.

The touch of Ashling finger tips on his fur made Jay shiver. He let out a soft snort and curled up into a ball as if cold but remained asleep. He would probably remain this way until the sun came up and one of the girls woke him up or he awoke himself. It was a good thing he curled up because once he turned back to his 'normal' form, he'd be exposing himself to both of them. His clothes had been completely lost during the change.
Soon enough the sky was fading into that familiar orange color as the sun began to rise. The moon that was once rested in the center of the sky had now moved off to the side to allow room for the sun. It wasn't long before the beautiful wolf that laid before them lost his fur and claws and slowly became the familiar face that had been a stubborn brat just hours before. Jaysin was back to normal. Back to human form. And, unluckily for him, he was in the nude.
Shivering from the cold he slowly opened his eyes and looked up at the two girls, quirking a brow. He laid there on the ground on his side, his knees up to his chest and his arms tightly wrapped around himself. It took him a minute to realized where he was and how... bare he was. "Uhh..." He felt the blood rising up to his cheeks as he blushed, remaining still on the ground too embarrassed to move.

Ashling grinned a toothy grin at Jaysin as she stripped herself of her denim and fur jacket. But instead of giving it to Jaysin, she handed it to Miko, who slipped into it rather quickly while managing to stay under her parasol. Ashling told Miko Jaysin's address and Miko was off to bring the man some of his own clothing.
Ashling sat with her back to Jaysin, turning her head over her shoulder to talk to him, but managing to keep from looking at him. She wasn't going to make him any more uncomfortable than was absolutely neccessary. "Well, from what I hear, you owe Miko a new jacket..." Ashling picked at a few strips of black satin cloth and dropped them in front of Jaysin, chuckling. "She says she can wait. No rush..."
Ashling paused before continueing. "Y'know...Jaysin. I don't mean to be rude or seem as though I'm bossing you around. But, don't you think it was a bit foolish to not pay attention to the lunar cycle? Especially when you knew what had bitten you...?' Ashling sighed. "That was the scariest night of my life..."

Jaysin remained on the ground, laying on his side with his knees close to his chest. Not only did he want to cover himself as best as he could, it was rather chilly. The ground was damp and the morning weather was usually on the low side in the mornings. He couldn't wait for the sun to completely come up so that it could warm him up, even a little. He felt so helpless laying on the ground the way he was.
Turning his head slightly, he looked up at Ashling with sheepish, crooked smile. He could see that she was trying to avoid fully looking at him. How embarrassing. Not only did she witnessed him as a wolf, she witnessed him... well, naked. Not a lot of women got to see him like this. Not outside of the bedroom anyways.
"I owe her a jacket? Why? What happened to hers?" He began shivering lightly as a soft breeze blew by. He gazed at the small strips of cloth with surprise. He tried to think back as to what exactly happened but he couldn't remember anything. All he could remember was the pain during the transformation and soon after he had blacked out. It irritated and worried him not knowing what happened.
Turning his gaze away from Ashling, he looked over to the bones that laid just a few feet away from him and grimaced. Did I do that? He hoped not but it seemed inevitable. As Ashling's voice rang out again, pulling him away from his thoughts, he looked back to her with an arched brow. "You're not being rude... You're right. I just didn't expect the change to come so soon." He let out a soft sigh and closed his eyes. "I'm really sorry..."
