Miko was expecting the impact, but was so aggrivated by the pathetic twerp that she was caught offguard by his attack. She hissed out as she spilled over, clinging to the young man with all her strength. He would have bruises on his arms, she knew. But she could see the full moon peering through the trees at them and gave a great heave, pushing the young man to the ground and pinning his arms around behind him.
She leaned on him, fighting his legs off her like a cat, kicking in quick procession with both her feet till his were forced to straighten out. She had her arms wrapped tightly around his arms and had her feet planted, diggin into the ground as she pushed him towrd the ground, flattening him against the cool moss.
She snarled. "Stupid brat! You've exposed yourself and there's nothing I can do to keep you from changing, now! Damn you, now you've put Ashling in danger!" Miko braced herself, taking slow steps toward the cave, attempting to drag the unruly werepup back to the cave.

It wasn't a surprise that Miko was quick to get the upperhand again. Before Jaysin realized it, she was on top of him then dragging him towards the cave. He looked up at her, a scowl across his face. The girl was only trying to help him and he was being a jerk about it. He couldn't help it though. The pain in his shoulder and the stress he had gone through since the night he was attacked was getting the best of him now.
He looked away from her for a moment, his eyes moving past her and up towards the sky. There it was. The moon, bright and completely round. Before he knew it his heart was racing. The excitement he was feeling before now immediately turned into fear.
Letting out a loud shout in pain, he felt his ribs crack and his spine snap. He was finally going through his first change and the pain was more excruciating than he could have ever imagined. The sound of his bones snapping could be heard throughout the thick woods. His body shook as his spine cracked again, moving into his new position.
"F-fuck!" was all he could think of saying. He grasped his shirt over his chest, ripping it in frustration and twisted himself away from her. He fell onto the ground on his hands and knees, shouting in pain. He ripped his arm out of the sling, forgetting about the pain in his shoulder since his entire body was in pain. Soon his nails turned into claws and his teeth became large fangs as he gritted them together. His clothes had been ripped and fell off of his body as his muscles became larger and soon he was covered in fur.
Finally the change was over. He stood before Miko as a rather large but beautiful wolf. His fur was a light grey, almost white and his eyes were the same as they were before he transformed. He held his head back and howled then made his way slowly towards Miko, pulling his lips back in a snarl.

Miko jumped back into a tree and croutched waiting for the change to finish. "Shit!" she spat out, pissed. She had wanted to get him back to the cave before he changed. It would be easier to handle him if he were somewhat confined, but there wasn't that help, now. No chance of getting him back in there, either.
Miko winced as his bones popped, as she heard muscles, tendons, joints and skin break, reform, break again and heal again. She was not unsympathetic to the fledgling wolf's plight. She knew this was horrendously painful and terrifying for him, and would be every full moon. But maybe this would teach him to keep an eye on the lnar cycle from now on. She grunted and moaned with each cry of pain he screamed and she winced at every noise. And she could hear [i[every noise.
Miko sighed with a bit of relief when the transformation was complete. She knew that now he was a bigger risk, but at least he would not remember what happened from now until he transformed back into a human. She would feel a little better about hurting him if the need arose.
The small girl stood straight as the wolf came towards her, snarling, and she was immediately calm inside and outside. She was used to dealing with monsters. And there was no need for two angry ones. Besides, she needed to remain focused so that he did not reach any form of civilization tonight. There was no need for human lives to be lost if she simply paid attention.

Looking over the vampire before him, he kept his lips peeled back in a snarl as he breathed in deeply, taking in her scent. Though her smell was quite appealing there was something else that caught his attention. Something that smelt much more nicer than the creature before him. A human.
Lifting his head up a bit as he stopped just a yard or so away from Miko, he sniffed the air, letting the sweet scent fill his lungs. Lifting his tail up slightly he turned towards the opposite direction of the cave and began running. He ran much faster now. Much, much faster than he had done in his human form. He pressed his lips together but let out a soft growl, determined to find where Ashling was.
After zig-zagging through a few trees, he slowed down to allow himself to sniff the air again. He let out a triumphant howl as the smell got stronger. He had no idea that Ashling has been hidden in a tree but he set out to look for her anyways. He brought his nose down towards the ground, sniffing around just like a dog would when looking for something in particular.

Miko tensed immediately at the howl and for a moment was stock still. It was a moment she could not afford to lose. The beautiful pup was going to reach Ashling before she could stop him. "Not good, not good! Bad puppy!" Miko growled out as she flung herself at him. Slowly, too slowly, she was catching up to him, cursing the whole way.
When she saw him stop, Miko spat out more curses. He had stopped right below Ashling's hiding spot. She stopped within a yard of him, but she was high up into a tree. He was between her and Ashling if they had been on a level plain, but as it stood, she was closest to Ashling, being the higher of the two mythical beings. Miko tensed into a crouch. If the werewolf found Ashling, Miko would get to the girl first.
And then what? Miko would run with Ashling. She might be a distraction enough for the werewolf that he would continue to follow them. Miko would avoid other humans, knowing there was plenty of wooded areas for hiding. She hissed. "He is so letting me stay at his place for free to shelter me from the sun after this shit!"

Ashling clung to the tree she was in for dear life. She had watched the moon coming out with ever widening eyes and growing fear. She had heard the crash earlier, sure that it was Miko connecting to Jaysin. She hoped Jaysin was safe and that Miko was not doing too much damge to him. He was fresh, it would be unfair of Miko to harm him too much.
Ashling jumped and nearly fell out of the tree as she heard a howl in the distance, followed by Miko's now familiar roar. For some time after that Ashling heard nothing. But soon she heard shuffling and snuffling as if a huge dog were shifting through tall weeds to find something. Suddenly, a ginormous wolf burst from the plants in the forest floor and began snuffling around under her tree. She froze. She immediately felt a sence of dread and wonder over come her.
She glaced up, moving only her eyes and saw Miko come into view on a tree across from Jaysin. Ashling's mind was going a mile a minute. All the studying and work she put into the subject, and she hadn't known she was so close to one of the glorious beings of the night. She was too worried to be disappointed in herself. She was busy reaffirming her belief in Miko's ability to keep her safe.

After circling the tree not once but twice, he lifted his head up to sniff the air rather than the ground then saw Ashling hidden behind a few branches. He pulled his lips back in a snarl then took a few steps back, keeping his eye on the prize. The prize being Ashling. His meal.
He knew for a fact that he wouldn't be able to get up into the tree. He was a wolf, not a monkey. Instead he would use his strength to either shake her out of the tree or knock over the tree itself. He would do whatever it took to get what he wanted. He was starving. The hunger and bloodlust was burning within him.
After a few more steps he finally ran towards the tree as fast as he could then turned slightly to let his side rather than his head hit the bottom of the tree, shaking it. Seeing no results he ran back to his previous position and did it again. He whimpered slightly as he hit the tree the second time, but only harder. He growled loudly in frustration then barked up at Ashling just like a dog would bark at a cat that had gotten stuck in a tree.
He then placed his large paws on the bark and began scratching at it. He had no idea what he was doing. All he wanted was to get the girl down and to just feed. He kept his lips peeled back in a snarl, looking up at Ashling with his glowing eyes.

Ashling's eyes widened when the wolf looked up at her. "Oh, Lord, Jaysin...No...." She squeeled as the tree shook, dropping Miko's parasol and wrapping both her arms around the tree as tightly as she could. When he stepped back to do it again, Ashling repossitioned herself so that she could wrap her legs around the tree as well. Even as high up as she was, her arms and legs barely reached around the tree.
She winced as Jaysin hit the tree again. He had whimpered. He'd hurt himself trying to get at her. Ashling squeezed her eyes shut. She was so not ready for this kind of thing. She had spent a lot of time doing her research and knew more than many. But she was not ready for this.
She jumped again as Jaysin barked up at her. She glanced down at him, realized that was a mistake and looked away toward Miko. Miko was there. Miko would help. Nothing would go wrong. Ashling had faith.

Miko hissed when Jaysin found Ashling and immediatedly flung herself off her tree to Ashlings. She scrambled up the tree and headed straight for Ashling. When she reached the read-headed human girl, Miko wrapperd her arms around her and lifted her princess style again. When Ashling had secured her arms arouns Miko's neck, Miko stood.
The vampire looked down at the werewolf, maintaining her balance upon the one branch. She wobbled a little, her balance a bit off with her almost insubstatial added weight. She cuddled Ashling softly. "It's ok, Sweet-heart. He woun't hurt you."
Miko hopped gracefully from branch to branch, leading the wolf back toward the cave. She hated usung Ashling for bait. But it was the best she could come up with. "Besides..." she started in a sing-song voice. "Who's afraid of the big bad wolf?"

Allowing a soft growl to leave his throat, he pushed himself off of the bark of the tree and began moving back. The scent of the vampire had gotten closer and closer and he knew what she was after. The human, just like he was. He howled in frustration, realizing he now had to fight for his meal. Something he didn't want to do.
He listened to the rustling of branches and looked up, catching a quick glimpse of the vampire. She had Ashling now and was moving fast. He watched her jump from the current branch to another and slowly turned to follow. When her pace quickened, so did his. He would not go down without a fight. Especially as hungry as he was.
Immediately, he knew where she was leading him. Back to the cave. But why? He didn't care. He figured it would be easier to corner them both and if he was lucky enough, he'd be able to fight off the vampire and possibly have two meals in one. The thought made his mouth water.

Miko hissed in delight as the werewolf followed her. She took it slow, trying to drag this out as best she could. She went only as fast as he could, to make sure he didn't lose sight of her and become distracted by something else. She needed to make sure he stayed right with her.
Coming up to the cave, Miko let fortha short burst of speed and rushed to the cave. She set Ashling down in the cave and reached up to pat the womann's face. "It's ok dear. You're safe. I am taking care of the problem. I promise I won't kill him." 'Maybe...' she added viciously in her own mind. She took her jacket off of Ashling and brought it out with her.
Miko stepped out of the cave and jumped up on top of it. Within seconds she had depositted her cargo in the cave, assured the girl and then colapsed the entrance to the cave, blocking the human from sight. However, she had the jacket, drenched in Ashling's scent leaning onto the rocks she had just felled. The scent should be enought to keep the wolves attention.
Miko turned toward the oncoming danger. He would be there within a second, she knew. And she knew he would be able to dig through this pile in a second as well. So, she would need to stay between him and the cave. 'I came for some relaxation, and what do I get? A fight with a werewolf that simplydoesn't know what he's doing. Damn.'

Ashling stood feet back from the cave entrance as the rocks came down in front of her. She knew she should go to the back of the cave, but she wanted to hear what was going on clearly. Two of her friends were fighting on the other side of that wal of rocks and she wanted to know that they would be alright. So she sat on one of the rocks that had come down and in towards her, curling her legs up and wrapping her arms around her knees.
She leened against the rock wall and sighed, hoping that nothing would happen. If something happened to Miko, it was Ashling's fault because she called Miko here and if something happened to Jaysin, it waas Ashling's fault because she didn't know what Miko was and called her here to help. Ashling sighed, "I mean, aren't vampires and lycans supposed to hate each other...?"
But...Miko. Miko had mentioned before that she did not view such things the same way as others did. Back when Ashling had thought Miko was human, Miko had said something about not understanding why both races couldn't just get along. Miko had wished they could.
And then another thought ran through Ashling's mind. Why hadn't Miko drunk her blood? Weren't human's the main course for most vampires? Ashling was confused until she remembered something Miko had said earlier during the same conversation. 'I don't see why vampires can't just drink the blood of any animal. That would sustain them. They are just lustful-greedy things that desire to be completely satiated...' "Ah..."Ashling breathed.

As he neared the cave, he slowed down then came to a stop. He wanted to enjoy the hunt, seeing it as a game even though he was famished. He tilted his head back and let out a light howl and started towards the entrance of the cave, pacing himself. Miko's scent had overpowered Ashling's but Ashling's was much sweeter to him.
Reaching the mouth of the cave he snarled in disappointment finding that the entrance had been blocked off. It must have been the damn vampires idea. Looking up, he sniffed the air a bit. Ashling's scent had been coming from the top of the cave and through the entrance, leaving him confused. He knew he would either have to scale the rocks and get on top or dig his way through to get in. Either way, it would be effortless.
Darting his eyes to the top he also realized the vampire's scent was coming from above as well. That's where Ashling must have been and they were probably trying to trick him into going into the cave so they could trap him. So he thought. He pounced onto one of the larger rocks beside the cave and began making his way towards the top, right towards Miko. Pulling his lips back, he snarled and growled loudly as a warning that he was coming.

Miko sighed in relief as the wolf took the bait. She took off running down the mountain and jumped, landing behind the werewolf and between him and the cave. She hoped he didn't catch on. Ashling's scent was still clinging to the jacket farther up the mountain. Miko hoped it would distract him enough away from the cave that she could drag this out untill dawn.
She slid part way down the mountain with her momentum, rocks and pebbles spewing around her. She left three small trails from her feet and the hand she had pressed onto the ground to slow herself down. She flung her head back, her hair flying around her face, to look up at Jaysin's back. She had to admit. He did look beautiful and terrible in his wolf state. One of the most beautiful Miko had seen.
Miko nearly bristled at every snarl that came from him. She was defensive and wanted to react that way when he was threatening. But he was a friend of her friend. And Ashling would be so sad if Miko destroyed him. So Miko controlled her reactions as best she could, hoping she wouldn't cause too much damage to him tonight. She wanted to cuss him when he woke back in his human form.

Reaching the top of the cave, he brought his nose down towards the ground sniffing about. Miko's scent had trailed off but the human scent, Ashling's scent, was growing closer and closer. He pounced onto another rock and finally came across the jacket. He let out a triumphant howl, thinking he had won but he was wrong. Very wrong.
Lunging himself at the jacket, he took it into his mouth and shook it around like a rag doll, playing with it. Soon he realized that it was only the jacket. How stupid he felt once he figured it out what they had done. He had thought from the beginning that he would have the upperhand but both girls were more clever than he though. Especially Miko.
Growling loudly in annoyance he tossed the jacket aside and set out for Miko. Her scent died off for a moment but he could hear her sliding down the mountain. I'm going to tear that vampire apart. he thought as he ran towards Miko's direction. He figured it would be easier to get to Ashling once he rid of the thing protecting her. He let out a challenging howl as if to ask her to come out and show herself.
