Landon laughed, "your nuts," he didn't even know if he was capable of climbing a tree, and would never dare jumping from the top; even with his healing he wouldn't take a chance like that. He shook his head a smile plastered upon his face as it always seemed to be present when Ali was around. The elevator music caused him mininum annoyance, he was doing his best to tune it out.
The elevator dinged and opened to the lobby, he walked out heading for the desk and spoke softly to the balding man behind the desk. The man slid him the tickets, Landon fumbled in his pockets and pulled out the card key for his room and handed it to him, "have a nice day," he said taking the tickets in his hand, not trusting them in his pocket. He walked back to Ali, "now we just got to get a taxi," he said frowning, he hated taxi's. He didn't like that someone he didn't know was driving, like a maniac no less. He knew he should have just rented a car.

Ali looked at him with a raised eyebrow and chuckled. He was calling her nuts because she jumped down from the top of tall trees. But then again he wasnt the only one to call her nuts because of that. "I know I know. Im crazy for jumping down from the top of a very tall tree. But I like it. Its fun. Yes I get a few scrapes and rips every now and then but I always land on my feet." She winked at him as the elevator door dinged again and opened. They walked out into the lobby and then she waited until he got the tickets and came back to her.
When he came back though she could tell he was slightly annoyed about something and then he mentioned the taxi and she understood. "You dont like taking a taxi." She said. It wasnt stated as a question. More like a fact. And she chuckled at that. "No worries. If the driver does anything he isnt supposed to I can eat him." She shrugged but there was a grin on her face to show she was teasing.

"Can you not eat our driver... while he is still driving, is that a option... I don't really like stopping by car crash," he shrugged playfully, "just personal preference on brakes." The late afternoon air was muggy much to Landon's dismay the cars were moving smoothly though, there was one honking obnoxiously somewhere in the traffic. It was quite the busy night. He stood between two parked cars, one full taxi drove by. He flagged one that looked empty, it cut someone off to get into the closest lane.
Landon opened the door, "after you," he said exteding a hand to Ali.

Ali chuckled. "You know I wont eat the driver. I prefer to keep you alive thank you. I would be fine if we got into a crash. You, not so much." She said and chuckled. She nudged him playfully though. But the the words she spoke were the truth. She wanted to keep him alive. She didnt want anything to happen to him which is why she somewhat glanced around for more of her kind. It wouldnt really be a big deal she hoped but its better to be safe then sorry.
She looked back to him though when the taxi came and he opened the door for her. "Thank you love." She said and then got in and slid to the other side and looked at the driver. He seemed nice enough and so she smiled at him. She then looked out the window and watched the other cars zoom by. She hadnt been in a taxi in a long time. She normally just walked where ever she wanted to go.

Landon was gripping the seat as they wizzed through traffic, his knuckles became white. He liked driving. He didn't like OTHER people driving. The loss of control made him fear for his own well being. Esecailly when it came to taxi drivers.
Landon forced his eyes from the road and speeding cars to the ticket in his hand he peeled his hand from the seat and looked at the times; mini airport map, he took a deep breath in, held it, then let it out.
When the car came to a hault at the airport Landon couldn't be happier. How he hated taxi drivers. He handed the cabbie the money and opened the door happy to have his feet on solid ground he smiled slightly and looked back for Ali.

Ali was leaning back in the seat of the taxi cab. She liked other people driving. She herself didnt know how to drive. So she always took cabs, trains, and planes. But mostly walked or ran to where she needed to go to. But as she glanced at Landon she could tell he didnt like this at all. He looked sick to his stomach and he was gripping the handle on the door so tight his knuckles were white. She wished she could help him.
When they got to the airport he got out quickly and she looked at him with sympathy in her eyes. She thanked the driver and then grabbed her bag with the dress in it and leaned up and kissed Landon on the lips gently. "I see yoiu hated that. If it makes you feel better...I dont know how to drive." She shrugged.

"It does acutally," he said with a playful grin, "I don't do so well with other people driving."
He was grinning from the kiss when they walked through the door for the airport, security was rather lax compared to some places he'd been. He didn't have much and the people deemed it as carryon. Fine by him, he didn't really want his stuff getting lost anyways. "Time to go to home," he mummbled to himself.
