Ali smiled and nodded. "Yep. We have excellent smell. And I dont smell anything. So you must still be tired." She said and stepped forward and flicked his nose gently. She chuckled and kept her left hand out of his view. He was smelling her hand and it would take a little for it to heal up. She would hide it until then.
She smiled wickedly though and leaned forward to brush her lips across his. She chuckled and said, "You go ahead and shower. Im fine. Unless I smell..then I will. But after you." She told him and drew little circles on his collar bone with her fingertip on her right hand.

"Okay," Landon said, he was still pretty sure something was burning, but the scent of coffee was in the air and Landon let it go, maybe he was tired but he was still sure he wasn't smelling things.
"Fine, fine," he replied he kissed her forhead and stepped out of the small kitchen, he was such a lazy riser.
He grabbed his clothing for the day and stepped into the bathroom. He rubbed his eyes noticing how tired they were, he tried to remember what he was dreaming about but it eluded him. He showered quickly under a stream of warm water that nearly lulled him back to sleep standing. Landon grabbed the temperature for the water and forced it midway to cold the luke warm water did wonders for waking him up. A shiver went down his spine and he turned off the water, awake and refreshed. He brushed his teeth and got dressed quickly. In a black longsleeve shirt and blue jeans he exited the bathroom with all of his belongings, he shoved them carelessly into one of his two suitcases, he packed the remainder of his clothing and walked the cases to the door of the room.

Ali smiled as he gave in. She was glad he was going to shower. He looked tired and he needed to wake up. It also gave her time to not worry about him catching the burn. She watced him go and chuckled and then turned back to the coffee machine. She owed that dang thing and yet she laughed at herself for being stupid. You cant owe a machine. She shook her head as she heard the coffee finish.
She looked around in the cabinets for mugs and found and went back over. She poured herself a cup and then leaned against the counter. The counter was cool and so she placed her hand on it. She closed her eyes as it coolded her hand down and the pain went away slightly. She took a sip from the coffee and then wrinkled her nose. It was strong. But she would deal.
She opened her eyes though when she heard noise by the door. She peaked her head out and smiled as she saw him. She tilted her head and watched him silently. She would never get tired of just watching him. Thats how hooked she was. She walked out slightly and leaned against the door frame to the kitchen. "I told it would make you feel better."

"All awake now," Landon agreed with a smile, "we should get going here soon, we still have to pick up the tickets, hail a taxi and get through security," his smile faultered, so many things to do when he'd much rather crawl back into bed with Ali at his side. "You have everything?"
He noticed her hand partially hidden away from sight, he tilted his head to the side, "what the heck did you do?" he questioned, it couldn't be a trick of light and shadows, something was wrong with her hand, he reached out slowly for her arm.

Ali chuckled and said, "Your worry to much. We will make it. And hailing a taxi wont be hard. Im good at that. The security shouldnt be to bad at the airport. Its later and lots of people went in the afternoon. " She told him and chuckled once again. She was used to airports and she didnt mind them anymore. She had the routine down. She could tell you everything they had to go through. It was one fo the things you picked up from traveling.
But she paled even more slightly as he noticed her hand. She shoved her hands behind her back and covered it from sight. She swallowed and shook her head. "Dont worry about it. Its nothing." She said to him and smiled. She didnt want him to worry about a burn when it would just go away later.

He listened as she rattled off all the ways in which they would be fine to get on their plane on time. Still he liked being punctual, he didn't like being the last to board the plane, or get through security checks.
He noticed the slight shift as she hid her hand, "Psht, don't worry about it," Landon said edging on worry and sarcasm. He grabbed her gently around her waist and spun her slightly with one arm, she was light, his other arm taking her wrist into his hand like they were about to dance, but now he could see her hand, "geeze Ali," he mummbled "what did you do?"

Ali had wanted to take a step away from him as he came toward her. She didnt want him to worry about her and would he be mad at her for being so stupid? She couldnt help it that her curiosity won out a lot over logic. She had lots of logic but she pushed that aside for fun and sometimes idiot things. It was just her nature and she loved that. She wasnt afraid to take chances.
She swallowed when he turned her by the waist so easily and took her wrist. She looked down at the floor nervously and then sighed when he saw her hand. "I..ummm....watched the sun set...the light touched my hand and it got burnt." She shrugged though. "Its no big deal. I promise."

Landon sighed, "I supose with how you speak of the sun it could have been worse," he said looking at her hand then back to he face, "I don't understand while you would try to get close to practically the one thing that can kill you or at least cause serious harm."
"How fast do you heal?" He questioned, he knew that he healed faster than humans, but sometimes stitches and bandages helped make it faster, but that was because more or less he was mortal. He let go of her arm but kept his one arm draped lazily around her waist. He knew he hadn't been smelling things, but he was a bit peeved he couldn't figure out it was burning skin, typically that had a different scent all together.

Ali looked at him kinda ashamed. She had tried hiding the burn and it didnt work. She didnt want him worrying about something so pointless. It didnt matter really. She took her hand back gently touched his cheek. "Dont worry about it. And I love the sun. I have done this before. Worse even. I look through the blinds and watch it set or sometimes rise. Its an addiction I need to break. But I dont think I have fully accepted my fate of being doomed to darkness."
She shook her head sadly and then glanced at him at his question. "I heal pretty fast. It will be gone in a few days. Wont even leave a mark. So there really is no point to worry. See..it already looks better. And dont worry about not beind able to tell it was my skin that was burnt. It could have been the coffee maker." She shrugged and smiled. It had been cute how he had glared at the machine.

Landon was still a bit upset with himself, but they had other more pressing matters, such as catching the plane. He was happy to be heading home to the familiar home in France. "Doomed to darkness, wow, the way you say it, its just damned depressing." he admitted, he wondered how he would fair not being able to go out into sun light.
He had always enjoyed the evenings most, he loved the moon even with his curse, he loved the stars, the cool night air, how quiet it became, the sounds of crickets in the air. Night was peaceful. For a stressing mind like his own night was a small refuge. "The night isn't so bad, it has it's perks you know." He had never really had a propper sleeping pattern, like most slept during the night, Landon, with all of his traveling slept in convienience and was never fully back to a propper time before sent into another timezone. He'd learnt long ago to sleep when he was tired no matter when that was.
He was happy to hear that she healed fast, it was a common trait with werewolves, though he had scars to prove that they didn't come back good as new.

Ali ran her fingers through her hair and glanced at him slightly. "Yeah. I guess when I say it like that then yes...its depressing. But im only kidding. I do enjoy the night. I just miss the sun sometimes." She shrugged and sighed slightly. She hadnt meant she as doomed or anything around that. She traveled for that very reason. Cities were so beautiful at night with their twinkling lights and towers and buildings. So no..she didnt hate the night.
She chuckled when he said the night had its perks. She knew that to be true. She was able to disappear into a crowd at night and also they were so calm outside of cities. The night did have its perks. But sometimes when your skin was so cold you couldnt feel the sting from snow, you wanted to feel warmth on your skin. But she couldnt explain that to him. It was hard enough for her to understand. So she changed the subject. "So. Are we all ready for the plane?"

Landon kicked his pack lightly, he was pretty sure everything was packed up. He had scanned over his room twice, in resorts like this they would usually ship you any belongings you had forgotten. "Yep, as long as you are."
Landon enjoyed flying sometimes, short flights were nice, relaxing even. People brought you drinks, pillows, you enjoyed a movie, it was done and you were home. Personally he enjoyed driving, but flying wasn't a bad second. Long flights though, were a nightmare. Sitting in uncomfortable seats for hours, sleeping-and there always seems to be a crying baby, boredom sets in and you realize you still have ten hours of your flight left.

Ali had to chuckle at that. "Im ready. Because one, I dont have much stuff. Only the dress you bought me and these clothes. And two, I got up early and got everything all together. So Im just waiting on you love." She smiled and then leaned over and kissed his cheek. She was excited to be going to France. She hadnt been there before and it had been on her agenda. And she couldnt think of a better person to be going with then Landon. It was the perfect trip.
But she wondered how long it would be. She had only traveled to places in the U.S and so she didnt know how long the flight would be from here to France. She wanted to ask him but he seemed occupied. Maybe going through a mental check list. So she left him alone and just opened the door, picked up her one bag and then went out into the hall and waited for him. But one thing was for sure, when they got there she was calling the shower. Unless she stayed somewhere different then him or they went their seperate ways.

Landon picked up his suitcase and walked followed her out the door, he was grinning from the kiss on the cheek. Even though it was quite the long flight, with his present company it couldn't be all that bad. In fact he figured he could get to know her better.
He pressed the down button for the elevator, it lit up and he leaned against the wall waiting patiently for it. He studied Ali; she looked like other human girls, only more beautiful, paler complextion than most, and the burn that proved to Landon just how dangerous the sun could be to her. The ding of the elevator snapped him from his thoughts. The doors slowly parted and he waited till Ali went in first and pressed the button for the lobby. "Are you afraid of heights?" He had once flown with a aspiring journalist. Only to find out the poor girl had a terrible fear of heights and spent most of her trip in the bathroom being sick to her stomach and crying in fear.

Ali walked beside him as they left the room and she couldnt help but smile slightly. He was cute and he seemed all business like at the moment. Which made him even more cute. He was just all over cute. And she noticed that when he pressed the button and leaned on the wall he studied her. She blushed slightly under his gaze. She wondered what he was thinking about. She hoped it was something good or that would make her sad. But the way he looked at her, she had a feeling it was a good.
The elevator came up and she groaned when she heard the elevator music. It was always so annoying and people left out of the elevator quickly. But she walked in with Landon and then raised an eyebrow at his question. Afraid of heights? She laughed and shook her head. "Nope. I love heights. The reason I have rips in my jeans is because I love climbing the tallest tree I can find. And I normally jump down from the top."
