The pack listened to Mattiga and their tails wagged slightly as they watched the tick die and the thought of not having to leave crossed their minds. The pup pounced on Mattiga happily licking his face. The pack looked to the east seeing the sun slowly rise into the sky.
Arvid grabbed Mattiag's shirt, jacket and coat with his mouth and nudged his arm and said. "Put these back on before you freeze." Knowing he didn't understand him but would get the idea of what he said. The pack watched as the sun rose higher. Arvid looked at them and said. "Go get cloths on and meet me as the motel and I'll formally introduce you all to Mattiga...because he has no clue as to what we are saying."
The pack nodded and walked off in their own directions and slowly disappeared in the forest on their way home. Arvid walked over to Mattiga and sat down with a slight grin. He pawed Mattiga's ankle then looked at him with a sigh. He formed to human still sitting in a wolf-like pose. "There you go again getting hurt." He said playfully, poking Mattiga's side with the broken rib.
Arvid looked around and saw no tree with scratch markings on it. He sighed. "Well this is akward..." He pinched the bridge of his nose between his eyes thinking. He looked back at Mattiga then stood up and stretched. "I'll be back I'm going to barrow some clothes from the hunters...If they're not ripped completely to sheds. Then I'll be back to help you up."
Arvid walked off into the bushes and disappeared. he walked retracing his way back to the two hunters that he killed that night. "Oh good I didn't rip the pants that much." He said aloud to himself. Arvid slipped the pants on and zipped and buttoned them up. "A bit tight...but they'll work."
He got back to Mattiga and looked down upon him with a smile. "Come on lets get back to the village." He knelt down and picked Mattiga up. "My damsel in distress" He said aloud.
