Arvid walked outside into the damp grass. He was dressed in a dark blue pair of jeans and a thin white tank top, and on his feet were dark brown light weight boots. He looked up at the sky, a few clouds slowly floated past the moon.
'I want to know more about that kid, Mattiga. He said he was looking for trouble.' Arvid started to walk back toward town. He pulled out a small moose skin pouch from his pocket and opened it. He pulled out a small vile of reddish-black liquid that looked like a gel. "This will help with the poison thats leftover in his system." he said with a knowledgeable voice to himself. He stuck it back into the pouch and into his pocket.
He got to the outskirts of town and walked along the streets. He looked around at the dark houses and buildings, At this late hour most of the bars had closed up for this night. He got to the hospital and noticed there was a police car parked outside, he raised and eyebrow in curiosity. 'I wonder whats going on?' he walked inside and was greeted with a rush of nurses asking questions. Asking about the bow and if he ad seen him. "He's gone?" Arvid asked in a slightly loud concerned voice. The nurse nodded her head yes.
Arvid sighed. "I'll see if i can find him. He might not have gotten far...with a injury like that." Without hesitation Arvid quickly walked outside and looked behind him to make sure no one fallowed him out. He walked down the street and ducked into a dark alleyway. He found an old plastic bag and strip himself of his clothes and put them in the bag and tied it closed. Arvid formed to wolf and picked up the bag in his mouth. He walked back to the streets and cautiously back to the hospital.
He sniffed around until he caught a whiff of Mattiga. He fallowed it, his nose to the ground and the bag dragging on the ground. 'This damn bag is annoying. But i bet it would be odd for me to appear were ever he is naked.
He fallowed Mattiga's sent that led to the forest and to were the concert had been. Arvid's nose led him to were cars had been parked and the sent stopped at tire tracks in the mud. Arvid sat the bag down and looked at the tire tracks. his ears folded down flat on his head and he let out a loud low growl. "Damn it all!"
Arvid sighed very heavily. He looked down at the mud at the tire tread then picked up his clothes bag and fallowed the tire tracks till they got to the pavement. He looked closely they turned left toward the town. 'He must be at a hotel, Of course he said he was from Canada.' Arvid thought as he trotted down the road.
He made his way to the town and went to every hotel and motel he could find. he checked out every four wheeled vehicle at and around the hotels. Arvid finally found the car with the matching tire. He sniffed around the car and got Mattiga's sent.
Arvid walked around the hotel and into a dark part of the parking lot, he formed into human and got dressed, he walked into the hotel and over to the front desk. He asked if there was a Mattiga Bontecou staying here. The manger told him yes and that he was staying in the fifth door on the second floor.
Arvid smiled and thanked the maneger and walked up the stairs to the fifth door and knocked on the door. He looked around waiting for an answer. The hall walls were painted black and from the waist up was a very simplistic wallpaper.

Mattiga groaned as he heard someone knock at the hotel room door. he rolled over and off the bed falling on his chest. He bit his lip hard breaking the skin and he stifled a scream from the pain he received with this action. HE rolled over and over until he got to the door. Once there he used the desk beside the door to hoist himself up and then grab the doorknob. He looked through the peephole and saw Arvid standing outside.
"Arvid?" He asked in a frail whisper. he turned the doorknob and let Arvid in. "Hey. umm come in." He smiled weakly and then turned around and stumbled back to the bed where he flopped down on his back and closed his eyes tightly. A small trickle of blood oozed from the cut he had made in his lip and blood was once again seeping from his chest wound. Luckily the bandages hadn't started leaking.
Mattiga's breathing was rough and coming in short gasps. His skin had turned back to a sickly white color and a cold sweat was beginning to break out over his entire body. He curled up and struggled to get his shoes off then gave up and layed weakly in the middle of the bed. He looked over at Arvid with sunken in, half closed eyes, "I'm not going back to the hospital. You can't make me." He whispered fiercely before once again closing his eyes and passing out.
His laces on his shoes were untied but not loose enough for him to get them off, the bandages around his upper torso were now saturated with blood and starting to leak and his bottom lip was still slightly dripping blood. Beats of sweat collected over all exposed skin and if anyone were to touch him, Mattiga would be hot to the touch but the sweat would be ice cold.

Arvid sighed as he walked over to Mattiga laying on the bed. "Why did you leave the hospital?" He asked knowing he wouldn't get an answer back from the unconscious boy. He loosened the laces on the boy's shoes and pulled them off setting them on the floor next to the bed. "You are burning up boy. You should have stayed in the hospital. They know what they are doing. But..they have no since of decor..." He smiled. 'Why do I always talk the most when people can't really hear me?'
Arvid pulled out the moose skin pouch out of his pocket and sat it down on the night table next to the be, next to the light which he turned on. He walked into the bathroom and got a wash cloth and soaked it in cold water and brung it to Mattiga and sat it on his forehead.
He grabbed the gaus bandage and ripped it open with ease. Arvid took the pouch and opened it and got the vile of reddish-black liquid gel. He sat it on the table and walked into the bathroom again and got a small cup. He ran the hot water till it was almost scolding hot. He filled the cup up and grabbed another wash cloth then walked back into the bed room.
He dipped the wash cloth he had in hand into the cup and dabbed it around the hole in Mattiga's chest to wash away the new blood that had splattered from it. 'Oh...this isn't good...The little bit of flesh that is around the hole is dead and its also a bit infected. Along with the little bit of poison that is still lingering in there.' Arvid looked at Mattiga with sad eyes. "I hope you don't feel this, and if you do, Don't freak out."
Arvid reached into his other pocket and pulled out a large pocket knife and opened it with a loud click. The blade was made out of black stainless steel and etched into it was a wolf running through snow. He pinched a piece of dead skin and pulled it tight then cut it close to the living skin. He cut all the dead skin off of the hole then washed it with the hot water again.
After he cleaned the hole with the water he opened the vile of liquid gel. A pungent smell slowly filled the room. Arvid poured a little bit on his finger and then rubbed it around and in the wound. He watched for any sign of consciousnesses from Mattiga. As the gel sat on Mattiga's skin it started to thicken and made like a large scab.
"That should help allot. Now for you to rest." Arvid pulled out some gaws and bandage tape and re-bandaged Mattiga's chest. He looked at Mattiga's bottom lip and saw the blood, he wiped it away with his finger. He sniffed it then licked it off. He growled in his throat as the beast festered. He calmed himself then sat on the floor by the bed. Arvid stared at the floor then slowly fell into a light sleep.

Mattiga woke up a few hours later and rolled off of the bed onto Arvid. He scurried away and against a all eyes open wide. He took a few seconds to looked bout the room he found him elf in as memories for the past few days slowly trickled back into his mind.
The room was plain enough, cream colored walls, grey carpet, two windows with silver and burgundy striped curtains. There were two four poster beds in the middle of the room against the far wall. They were decked out with gold a Burgundy canopies and covers and pillows. There were side tables made of deep red stained oak beside each bed and a TV in a curio of the same oak as the tables, was positioned between the beds against the wall opposite them. There were a few pictures of knights and princess around the room but mot the gaudy Disney stuff, actual mid-evil times knights and princesses.Off toward the door to enter the room was a sink which made the wall just out a bit and another door was placed in this jutting out section of wall. The door was open and he could see a nice bath/shower and toilet and another sink.
He then looked at the guy sprawled on the floor before him. He seems less ragged looking than before and Mattiga noted he was wearing shoes now. He scooted closer to the guy and poked him trying to wake him up. After several minutes of getting no response he stood up and stretched then went into the bathroom and took a shower getting all the crud off of his skin and then getting re-dressed he did his hair, pilled up his hood and snuck out of the room and hotel. He went out the parking lot and noticed his car was gone, or at least not where he had left it.
"Figures. Even in places such as this there are car thieves." he mumbled under his breath. as he turned away from the parking lot and to the streets. He wandered around the hotel some more noting some tennis courts and a swimming pool. He then noted a trail leading from the pool into the forest. he figured it probably lead somewhere interesting and perhaps he'd get lost and die. What a perfect ending to this perfect trip. His chest was starting to bug him again and he sighed as he headed for the trail.
An hour later and several forks in the trail and turns, he found himself deep within the forest, off of the trail, and utterly lost. On the plus side there weren't any trees with needles to be seen in the area. "Hmph..where the hell am I?" he said aloud as he started walking where he thought would lead him out of the forest but infact leading him deeper still. 'Arvid where the hell are you now? Probably still sleeping in the hotel. Who the hell said you could stay there anyway? I'm not paying so I hope you have money. Sucker!" he laughed and kept on walking smiling at the thought of staying in a fancy hotel for free. 'Life just keeps getting better and better."

Arvid woke up with his head pounding. He stood up and held his head. "Gah...Were the hell did this headache come from." He said in a low tone. He looked were Mattiga had laid and saw that he was gone. Arvid sighed deeply with his brow wrinkled. "I'm getting tired of chasing him around. But I'm still curious..."
Arvid opened the door and walked out. He looked about the hallway and saw no one around. He walked down to the front lobby. The manager stood at the front desk with a slight smile. Arvid looked at him with a annoyed and angry look. Arvid walked over to the desk. "How much?" He asked. The manager typed for a moment on the keyboard of a computer. "That will be threehundred'n fifty krone Sir" The manager said.
Arvid groaned then pulled out his wallet and paid for Mattiga's room. "You wouldn't happen to have seen Mattiga Bontecou come by earlier?" The manager thought. "Yes he left a few hours ago."
Arvid walked out of the hotel and looked around and noticed Mattiga's car was gone. 'Hmmm....Ah screw the boy. Right now I don't care what happens to him.' He thought. He rubbed his forehead with his finger tips as a wave of throbbing pain hit him again. He looked up to the sky. The night was fading away into morning and the sky was a light pinkish color with a shade of purple rimmed were it was still dark.
'The full moon is a few nights away...thats why this headache has popped up.' He thought as he started to walk toward a trail that went into the forest. He walked along the trail with a quick pace. He stopped getting a whiff of a familiar sent.
"Well I be damned. He's on the trail. That little brat owes me money." He said with an evil grin spreading across his mouth. He fallowed the trail and his nose further till he found himself off the trail and onto an old hunting trail that he knew lead up into the mountains.
Arvid quickened till he was running he ran quietly not fitting a single bush or low tree limb. He slowed down as he saw movement up ahead and recognized it was Mattiga. He got closer till he was about ten feet away from the boy and watched him. 'He is your prey...' A low growled voice in his head said. 'No one will ever know. The boy is not from around here he is yours for the taking.'
Arvid's eyes darkened and he slowly moved closer.

Mattiga sighed as he turned around trying to get his bearings. Finally deciding on a direction to go he set forth pulling his hood up as he went. Not even a mi ute later and he was face to face with Arvid. he froze and then quickly turned and took of in the other direction as fast as he could.
He dodged tree limb and zipped around trees and bushes. He ran until his lungs were screaming at him to stop and then he took off up a tree and his amongst the thickly leaved branches and prayed that Arvid wouldn't fallow him.
He thought about all the events that had taken place. The concerts, the forest, the tree needles, the hospital, the hotel, the trail, the ditching Arvid, the stolen car, the now terror he had no with that look he saw on Arvid's face. He shivered in fear and peeked through the branches but didn't see Arvid. he figured he had lost him so he climbed down and continued on running trying to get out of the forest.
He ran for a half hour before finding a river. He slowed his pace trying to find a way across but finally settling on trying to swim across. He looked at the current, fast, he sighed and bit his lip before diving in. He surfaced gasping and sputtering before swimming to the other side and climbing out shakily. He stood up and stumbled into the trees again. He hugged his arms close to him as the cold started seeming into his body, the worse place was around his chest wound. He stumbled around a bit more before falling into a large section of bushes and out of sight. he curled up on the forest floor shivering and waiting for death to claim him or someone to find him, anyone but Arvid he hoped.

Arvid watched as Mattiga ran away from him, yet again into the thick forest. His eyes widened as he sensed the fear. He loved to chase things that ran from him. He couldn't help it, it was in his blood now to chase what ran from him. He waited till he could no longer see the boy.
Arvid formed to wolf and wriggled out of his clothes and chased after Mattiga. He wanted to make it interesting, so he ran at a slow pace. 'I don't want to catch him just yet. I want to see how long he can run without pause.
He slowed and sniffed the ground, his ears perked as he heard sounds from the forest. He listened for any noise from the scared boy, but heard nothing. He came to a tree and sniffed around it he smelt Mattiga. 'He went up the tree. Smart boy.' He looked up into the dense tree leaves without any sign of clothing. The wolf sniffed around once more then found Mattiga's trail again and continued his chase.
He continued running for a few miles. Arvid fallowed Mattiga's sent till it lead him to a large river that came from the near by mountains. 'He must be out of his mind to cross the river.' Arvid panted heavily the wispy fog of his breath floated u from his muzzle and dissipated into the cold crisp air.
He looked around not seeing any log or large rock for any easy form of crossing. He slowly trotted into the cold water and swam to the other side. He reached the graveled bank of the river and shook the water from his fur.
He sniffed around but couldn't find the sent of the boy. 'Hmm...He couldn't have gotten far, he would freeze.' Arvid thought as he continued into the forest. He stopped in a small clearing the large wolf grinned then through back his head and let out a long loud howl into the sky. Birds flew from their trees as the howl echoed through the air.
'I'll find the boy weather he is dead or alive. We are deep enough into the forest now and there is no chance of any rescue.' The wolf growled and held its nose close to the ground and sniffed, searching for any sent of Mattiga. About fifteen feet away in a thicket of bushes he thought he saw the sole of a shoe.
Arvid sniffed the air and a small gust of wind blew the sent of his prey in his face He charged toward the bushes and grabbed holed of Mattiga's pant leg and pulled him out of the bushes. 'I found him He is mine!'

Mattiga trembled and looked up at the wolf. He blinked a few times as black dots were starting to block his vision. Then suddenly he realized juts what had his leg.
"WOLF!!!" He yelled as adrenalin rushed through his veins giving him warmth. He took hi free leg and smashed it against the wolf's eyes and then ripped his pants away from it's jaw. He scrambled up and ran to a trail that lead back to the hotel but quickly darted off of it and up into a tree where he sagged against the trunk.
"Wolf..wolf..wolf." He said over and over again as the cold started to seep back into his nerves and he began to shiver again. He looked wearily down at the forest floor and then he blacked out as he slipped from the branch to the ground below.
He landed in some bushes and laid there unconscious ass the day started and the forest animals began to awaken.
A few hours later he awoke happy to not see the wolf and he hurried back to the trail and to a store where he got new pants and then to the airport where he got a plane ticket for the next day.
"I've had enough of this place. I'm going home before something happens and I'm dead. Arvid's probably looking for me to get money, that wolves's probably tracking me down to eat me, I'm tired. I'll probably have a cold and end up sick for weeks. This was the worst trip ever.' he said as he sat in the airport terminal and drifted off to a light sleep listening to the busyness of people rushing to catch their planes. He just hoped Arvid wouldn't find him. That may turn out to be bad and then he'd never get home. He was out of money.

Arvid let out a growled whimper as Mattiga's foot collided with his face. He staggered back shaking his head, his vision was clouded and blurry. he heard the sound of Mattiga running and started to chase him again but stopped a few feet and collapsed. His eyes hurt along with his head.
A few hours later he awoken his vision back but still blurry. He stood up and shook his head, then looked around. Arvid ran back toward were he had left his clothes. Through the river again and the thick forest. He was happy to see they were still there.
He formed to human and put his clothes on. He looked up at the sky that was blue and covered with white clouds. 'I lost my prey...and possibly a friend.....Nah..He is scared of me. He wouldn't want me to be his friend.' Arvid thought to himself still looking up at the sky. "He is probably on his way home right now."
Arvid got back to the trail that went to the hotel. He got onto a road that let to town. He walked along the sidewalks and melted into the large crowd of busy towns people who were out working or shopping.
As he walked he got a sharp throbbing pain in his forehead were Mattiga had struck him. He walked over to a window. Looking at his reflection he saw a bruise forming. 'Thats lovely. Note to self...Don't try and bite Canadians...They have a good leg on them...' Arvid sighed and rubbed the forming bruise.
He continued walking till the sent of that boy again caught his nose. 'Why do I always catch that sent of his...' He though. "I wonder were he is? I might just go find him....out of curiosity..." He said in a low whisper to himself.
He fallowed the sent to the air port. He slowly weaved in and out of herds of people waiting and rushing to get tickets and to get to the right loading docks. He spotted Mattiga and walked up behind him as Mattiga sat there.
Arvid stood right behind Mattiga's chair and leaned down by his ear. "Mattiga...I'm glad to see you are safe and well. Don't run please. I'm not here about the money." He said in a soft whisper in the boys ear. He placed a strong grip on the boys shoulder hoping it would keep him in the seat. "I just want to talk to you."

Mattiga jumped up and spun around one arm held out, fist catching Arvid's temple to knock him away. Mattiga stepped back away from Arvid and then froze,"What do you want. J..just leave me alone ok? I don't want to talk to you anymore. You creep me out. First you appear out of nowhere in the forest , then you seem to pop up everywhere I go. Next I get attacked by a wolf is said forest and then I come here and you appear again. What are you and why are you stalking me Arvid!?"
Mattiga's breathing was becoming rugged and uneven, he was tr=urning a sickly pale color and sweat was starting to break out over his forehead. His heartbeat was racing and he held his fist to the wound in his chest.
"Look just..just..." He stumbled on the words and then walked back to Arvid and flopped down on the chair. he pulled a bottle of pain killers he'd got a the gift shop and popped a few into his mouth and swallowed them down dry. "I'm freaked out, getting stalked by you, broke, and practically dieing. I'm scared outta my wits and I'm gonna ride an airplane. I'ma die before I ever get back home." He closed his eyes tightly and rested his head back against the chair as pain started spreading from the wound.
"Just, what do you want Arvid? Seriously, what are you? Do you know the wolf I'm talking about? The one that attacked my in the forest? Is he troublesome for you?" he sighed and clenched his hands into tight fists as his mind numbed as did the pain he looked up at Arvid with tired eyes longing for some answers.

Arvid watched the boy as he sat back down. "I'm stalking you Mattiga because I want to help, but you keep on running away." He sighed sadly then rubbed the bruise on his forehead. He walked around the chair Mattiga was sitting in and sat next to him.
"If you died from your wound on your chest I would feel horrible, because I caused you to run away and into the forest were you got hurt. And as for the money you can forget it...lets say its pay back for me ripping up your jacket and shirt back in the forest." He said with a tinge of sadness coating his words.
He looked around and noticed that very few people were walking near them. A security guard with his dog walked by. The dog sniffed the air then started to bark wildly and charged toward the two of them. The security guard pulled out a dog whistle and blew it for a few moments till the dog calmed down and the walked off.
Arvid's eye twitched after he heard the whistle. He let out a long sigh. "The reason I have been able to find you is because I'm a good tracker I can find almost anything. As to that wolf that attacked you..." He thought of what had happened to Mattiga earlier. 'If I tell him that the wolf was me, he would for sure run to the nearest plane weather it's going to Canada or not and get out of here. Arg...I really hate the full moon...and my instincts.'
"I was that wolf." He said slowly and clearly. "I'm a werewolf. If you can believe that. I attacked you because you ran and my urge to chase got the better of me. The full moon is tonight I do believe. So 'It' is awake and festering. Dogs as you can see as well as other animals can sense that I'm not just human."
Arvid looked around once more to make sure no one was listening. "You think I'm crazy, don't you?" He looked at Mattiga waiting for any sort of response, weather it be laughter or a look of 'you are nuts' or even him running away yet again. But this time if the boy ran he wold not chase after him. He would let him be. "There is one last thing I want to tell you, and that is. I'm sorry for the trouble I've caused you. I can't help but help people. And you looked like you were lost in the forest last night and that is why I appeared out of nowhere. I was in my wolf form and I looked back and saw you out in the clearing. I circled around you and formed back to human and walked up to you."

Mattiga listened to ardiv's explanations carefully then sat silently for a while. He stared off into space not talking. His eyes flicked from person to person in the air port yet still he was silent.
About thirty minutes passed before he moved. he sat forward and rested his elbows on his knees and his chin in his hands and looked straight ahead as his brain started to actually digest what Arvid had said. "So, you're a werewolf?" He said more to himself than to Arvid as his brain really picked up speed. He frowned slightly as he processed this thought then he slowly turned to Arvid and looked him over.
After a few more moments of silence he scooted closer to Arvid and laid his head on his shoulder and closed his eyes,"Please don't leave my side. I might need you again soon." He whispered softly. "Would you protect me from other dangers?" He asked out of the blue.
He sat up again and looked at Arvid then back out into space. He was silent again and seemed to be in a slight daze. "Could you protect me though? You've already tried to kill me once. So you would try again. You are wild. You haven't merged completely with your wolf so it rebels against you. This could be troublesome." he stood up as it neared his time to board the plane.
"There are five tickets for my plane left. If you are coming get one. If not then do whatever." He stated walking to the line to board. As he walked he said over his shoulder,"I don't really want to go back home. But I've already spent all my money. Wonder if there are any kidnappers around?" he grinned to himself as he neared the line.
Right before getting in line he ducked into a bathroom and walked to the mirror. This bathroom had doors on both ends so you could cut through the terminal to the other side faster and easier. He pulled his hood down and turned the tap on and splashed water on his face before looking at his reflexion.
"Werewolves don't exist. Only in myths and legends." he said quietly to his reflexion.

Arvid watched Mattiga closely as he walked away toward the line for his flight. He thought to what the boy had said, and the actions a moment ago. 'He wants me to protect him, and kidnap him. This boy is odd, but I'll obladge.'
Arvid stood up and fallowed him toward the line and into the bathroom. He entered quietly. Other people entered and Arvid was un-noticed by the others, and hopefully Mattiga didn't notice either.
Arvid spotted Mattiga standing splashing water in his face. Arvid's eyes widened then narrowed. 'I've always wondered what it would feel like to kidnap a person.' He slowly walked over to the boy.
Arvid watched the boy, along with the boy's reflection, so he wouldn't be spotted walking up behind him. Arvid's hearing slowly faded, his sight blinded to any other people, as his whole attention focused on Mattiga. He could hear his own heart beat. He got up behind Mattiga and grabbed the back of his neck, his thumb and fore finger clamped tightly on spots that would cause Mattiga to become immobile.
He moved closer to Mattiga's ear. "Hei Mattiga. Du kommer til å bli med meg." he whispered in his native tongue. He pulled Mattiga close and walked him out of the bathroom.
Arvid looked around and watched the people who were standing around waiting for their flights. He looked at Mattiga with a grin. "Hush now. I'll take good care of you."
He walked out of the airport with Mattiga close by his side not letting go of his neck. He took him to a ware house a block away. He opened a side door and there stood a black sports car sitting by a few large crates.
Arvid pulled out some keys from his pocket and unlocked the car doors. He pushed Mattiga in, then sat in the drivers seat. "What do you think of my car?" He asked in a relaxed tone.

Mattiga allowed himself to be led from the bathroom, out of the terminal and into a car. he really didn't have any choice though he couldn't move without Arvid's consent. Once he was thrown into the car and Arvid had gotten in he crumbled into small ball in the seat completely immobile still feeling the pressure from Arvid's grip on his neck.
He stayed this way for a few more moments. A great shiver rushed through his body and he slowly sat upright in the seat,"Y..yeah..nice..c..car." he said in a shaken voice. He looked over at Arvid weakly and then quickly away,"So where are we going?" he whispered softly. "I'm tired Arvid." He slumped in the seat and looked out the window. Something didn't feel right.
"Arvid.....it doesn't hurt anymore." He smiled and closed his eyes slowly drifting off to sleep. He trusted Arvid to take care of him and not net anything happen. He sighed contentedly and rolled over on his side and slept on.
Memories flashed through his mind. Trips he'd taken with his father in the truck. One of them he remembered the truck breaking down and they had had to camp out for a week. Every night they were plagued by wolves. These wolves es seemed so large and unruly they frightened him. His father had slept through every night and in the morning hadn't believed Matt when he'd told about the wolves. This had also been the last time he had ever been allowed to go with his father. He was completely disowned after that.
He stirred slightly in his sleep and then settled. He shook his head slightly and then slept on dreamless. He trusted Arvid...nothin would bad would happen.

Arvid looked at Mattiga as he put the key into the ignition and started up the car. The door was open and he put the car into drive then drove out. He smiled at the words Mattiga had said about it not hurting anymore. "We are going to my cabin up in the mountains." He said to Mattiga's question. He glanced over and saw that the boy fell asleep. He smiled warmly.
Arvid drove past the airport, the streets were busy, it was getting to that time were tourists were coming. So the airports were bustling with people wanting to get to the mountains and ski, and also to see the wild life. He drove through the city and a few small towns till he came to a old paved road that snaked its way into the forest and up into the mountains.
Arvid watched as the pavement became gravel and then dirt. He slowed the car down as a few moose trotted across the road. He smiled them looked at Mattiga who seemed to still be snoozing. 'He missed the moose.' he thought to himself with a chuckle. 'I remember when there were wolves here in the forests. But there are little to none, just the ones that wander in from Sweden. I hate humans sometimes. I remember when I was seen in my wolf form by a few kids. I was chased and shot at.' Arvid thought. His grip on the steering wheel tightened in anger.
He sighed and relaxed the memories and thoughts fading in an instant. He continued driving till they got to a small village that was almost nonexistent the small building were covered in thick layers of snow. The road was now completely snow and only showed tire tracks from cars and snowmobiles.
He drove to a small motel that was on the edge of the village. It was bigger than most of the other buildings and looked more newer. Arvid knew the man who owned the motel he was a friend of his. He drove up and parked the car into a small garage that was surrounded by large trees.
He looked over at Mattiga and shook him. "Hey Mattiga! Wake up we're here." He opened the car door and got out. He walked over to the passenger door and opened it. "Come on little one. We have a long walk ahead of us. Hope you like the snow and wind." He walked over to a cardboard box and pulled out a warm coat and sat it on Mattiga.
Arvid pulled out a lighter coat and slipped it on it was black and had fur around the hood. He stepped out of the garage and into the crisp snow. He looked around the snow was fresh, his favorite type of snow. The forest was quiet and off in the near distance was the large mountains that jutted up into the sky.
