SHE'S A DWELLING PLACE FOR DEMONS, she's a cage for every unclean spirit, every filthy bird.
attire. It had been twenty-four hours since she had last seen the werewolf, but he had played upon her mind continually, in both curious and innappropriate ways. If she concentrated hard enough, she could still feel the warmth on her own icy skin where he had touched her, but not as warm as the questions that burnt within her mind. He had picqued her curiousity, and that was extremely hard. More than anything, she wanted to know what he was. She had known she would have to educate herself, and this would be the start or what looked to be a long and arduous learning curve. She found herself thinking about him again as she leant against the bottom of the fire escape. She was having a cigarette. She was due to perform again soon, but she had left herself plenty of time, and was ready to go. Tonight, she had made a change from the black of the night before; it was pink tonight. Her corset, thong underwear and heels were all the same delicious hot pink hue. All that was visible however was the shoes; she wore a silk kimono-style dressing gown over the top of her outfit. It was wrapped tightly around her, clinging to her figure. The corset had once again accentuated every curve of her near-perfect bodice and it was plain to see. Her dark chocolate locks were tonight pulled into a slightly unkempt up-do, though two tightly curled tendrils framed either side of her face. Her make up too, was pink. Instead of her trademark red lipstick, it was replaced with a sickly shade of candy, complete with a coat of gloss. Her eyes still had the usual ring of kohl, but the eyeshadow was a vivid rose color. She took a drag of the cigarette, letting herself enjoy the fumes as they snaked down her throat and into her lungs. His smell still lingered in the alleyway behind Elefang. And yet, it seemed somehow stronger than before. Perhaps he was inside, waiting to see her perform again. A soft sigh left her lips as she exhaled the smoke. The scent of the wolf grew ever stronger. He was here.. x

Jay had wandered the streets of New Orleans aimlessly all day but once night fall came, he knew exactly where he was going to go. Back to Elefang. Back to the vampire filled haven. He knew all too well that the girl was going to be there again. She had to be. He prayed that she would be.
Just like the night before, he paid the fee to get in and made his way over to the bar. He decided this time that if she wanted his attention, she would have to go to him. He slipped onto the nearest bar stool and folded his arms over the bar top, his eyes dancing about the dimly lit room. There were a few faces he recognized other than the ones of those that worked here. Maybe the mortals that came here again were hoping for the same thing he was. Hoping for the attention from the gorgeous vampiress.
”I’ll have an Incredible Hulk.” he told the barkeep as he approached the mutt. He would have ordered his usual; double shot of Jack, but he wasn’t in the mood to get drunk tonight. He wanted to make sure that he was in the right state of mind if Elio was indeed here tonight. There was something about her that was tugging at his curiosity and he was determined to find out what it was exactly.

attire.Throwing the spent cigarette, she decided to walk round instead of back up the fire escape and then through the bowels of Elefang. She met one of the girls on her way down the alleyway, doing the opposite of what Elio was doing. She offered to take Elio's dressing gown back to her room for her, and she accepted. * * * * * This was the first time Elio had been through the front doors, but already the muscles knew who she was, and let her through with a rare smile. The intense smell hit her as soon as she was through the second set of doors which led into Elefang; mortals, vampires, alcohol, cigarette smoke, sex.. Everything mixed into one slightly delicious, slightly obnoxious flavour within her nose and mouth. One scent stood out however - his. Immediately her grey-green eyes found him, propping the bar up. Her heels clicked softly, audible to her own ears above the music. A girl was doing her set, winding her body around the pole. She was fuller figured, and her movement were out of sync with the beat. Her elbows rested delicately on the bartop as she ordered a Disaranno on the rocks. She was perhaps five feet from Jay at the bar, and she knew it, but she acted nonchalant. He was a client from the night before who she did not recognise, so it would seem. A little pre-dancing drink would not hurt. The bartender handed her the drink, his skin brushing hers as her fingers clasped the glass. He was mortal, and he gasped, the coldness a shock to him. He was not scared of the undead, he had just never touched one before. " Something wrong, sugar? she asked, almost purring the words as they fell from her velvet lips. He muttered and reply, and hurried to another customer. The glass was raised to Elio's lips, taking a small sip of the cherry-flavoured liquor, letting it roll around her mouth before swallowing it. She turned, glass in hand, and rested back against the bartop, surveying the people she would dance for shortly. The lights shimmered off the satin matieral the corset was made out of, and she knew the thong showed her ass to perfection. Still she did not look to Jay, but she knew he could not fail to notice her. Her own familiar scent, mixed with the expensive perfume she had bought herself earlier clung to the air around her. It would intoxicate his lungs. Whether he chose to act on it was his choice. Still, if he ignored her now, she would find him later. She needed answers. Who and what was he? x

The moment the girl stepped foot into Elefang, her scent overpowered all others, leaving a hint of sweetness with it. He kept his eyes fixated on the drink that was set before him trying his best not to turn around and stare the poor girl down. He watched as the ice swirled around as he pushed the squares with the tiny straws he was given. His sensitive ears picked up the light clicking of her heels as she made her way in his direction. Butterflies rose in his stomach quickly assuming that she was coming to speak to him. Unfortunately for him, that was not the case.
Narrowing his eyes he looked over toward her, wondering if she had remembered him or not. She had to. She had spent a good amount of time dancing and toying with him the night before and he was sure he had given her the most money the entire night. He let his yellow tinted eyes dance over her flawless figure as she ordered a drink. He brought his own to his lips, taking a swig, nearly finishing off the entire drink. To a mortal, he must have looked like a damned alcoholic but that was something he was far from. At least to him it was.
He let out a slight chuckle as the barkeep nearly jumped out of his skin by the vampire’s cold touch. It was something Jay was all too familiar with. Ever since the night he was turned, vampires seemed to be everywhere. Hell, he knew more vampires than werewolves, which to him was a bit odd. He would have loved to become a vampire but a werewolf had gotten to him first. No matter, he enjoyed what he was either way. All except for when there was a full moon out. He hated having to lock himself away from humanity during that time so he wouldn’t hurt or kill anyone.
Pushing his thoughts out of his mind he turned himself slightly in his seat so that he was fully facing her. There was no use in ignoring her. He thought this would be the best opportunity to get her attention before she gave it to someone else. ”Don’t remember me, I see.” Speaking loudly wasn’t needed. Though the music was booming over the voices of others, it was certain that her vampire ears would catch every single word that left his lips no matter how low he spoke. Once again, he brought his glass to his lips and finished off his drink. He kept the glass tucked gently between his fingers as he looked her over, a sheepish grin dancing over his face. ”You look rather stunning tonight.”

"Don’t remember me, I see.
" A soft smile danced over her candy-colored lips, the gloss shimmering beneath the lights. Her eyes did not turn to him, her body remained in the same position as his words reached her ears. The glass was slowly bought to her lips once more, and they parted, allowing the amaretto to slide into her waiting mouth. " You look rather stunning tonight." A split second from the words leaving his mouth, she was stood directly infront of him, her glass placed on the bar beside them. Cheekily, she lifted the bowler hat from it's place on his head, rolling it around in her fingers before putting it on herself. It perched precariously on the up-do. She smirked softly. " You don't look so bad yourself," then without hesitation. " Who are you?" It would perhaps sound like a general question, but his resemblance to Kai had plagued her thoughts since she had first laid eyes upon him. She could feel the heat eminating from him, felt it against her skin. She inhaled deeply, his scent exciting her slightly, though she tried to hide it. Her chest rose and fell as her lungs filled then emptied, her ample chest constrained by the corset, pushed up and together, giving them delicate curves. Indeed, she was stunning. Her eyes trailed slowly along his jawline, the same strong outline she had seen on Kai. The eyes, the cheekbones.. Everything her eyes fell upon was the same. She needed an answer. x [/blockquote]

He allowed the woman to take the hat from his head, revealing his messy blond hair. Bringing his free hand up, he ran his fingers through his hair in an attempt to comb it out but only ruffled it more. He smiled at her as she placed the fedora onto her head. Though it didn’t match her pink filled outfit, it looked adorable nonetheless.
As he set his now empty glass onto the bar top to join hers, he leaned against the counter. Blood rushed to his cheeks as he blushed softly at her compliment and gave her a nod. ”Why thank you.” His eyes moved past her shoulder at the patrons that stood directly behind her. Just like the dogs they were, they stood, staring and drooling as they looked over her backside.
”Who are you?”
The question startled him at first, causing him to shoot his attention right back to her. At first he was confused by the question then quickly realized how simple it was. ”Oh, how rude of me.” Sitting up straighter he locked his eyes with hers, his grin widening. ”I’m Jaysin. Jaysin Yurameki. But you can call me Jay if you’d like.”
With his hand he pushed both of their glasses forward as the barkeep walked by, indicating that he’d like another drink. He went ahead and ordered her another glass of Disaranno hoping she wouldn’t mind. ”And, what’s your name gorgeous?”

"I’m Jaysin. Jaysin Yurameki. But you can call me Jay if you’d like.
" The smile on her face disappeared as fast as it had formed, and her orbs filled with a slight fear. Of all the names in the world, he had to have that one. Perhaps she would have considered it a popular surname, and thought nought of it, had the face not been the spitting image of the other Yurameki she knew. " Yurameki..?" Her voice trembled slightly, and in that moment the weakness she believed she had left behind in London resurfaced, though not to extent it had been. The hat was taken from her head, and pushed into his chest, and, ignoring the fresh Disaranno on the bartop, she took a step back. " I.. I need to go.." It was entirely untrue; it would be a good twenty minutes before she was due to perform, but it gave her the perfect excuse. Or it would have, if the girl on stage had not been less than halfway through her own variation of a pole-dance strip. If he knew much about strip clubs, he would know this was a blatant lie. She turned, shooting a growl at the gaggle of mortals behind her who had been oggling her rounded behind. That kind of behaviour was likely to cost her her job, but she needed to get away. They moved aside, allowing her to glide through, her walk hurried. The muscles gave her a curious look as she exited the front door, but she paid them no heed. Turning down the alleyway, she stopped and let herself slump against the wall. New Orleans had suddenly changed from the dream to the nightmare. True, she was tarring Jay with the same brush as Kai, and had it not been such a shock, she would not have done so. She realised she had stopped breathing on the way out, and she let out a choked exhalation, coughing slightly into the night air. x [/blockquote]

”Yurameki…?
Nodding, he arched a brow noticing the smile that was painted across her pale face was now gone. Her voice was now low; trembling rather than low and sweet. Had he said something wrong? Was she upset at him for ordering her another drink without permission? No, it had to be something else. His name had sent fear through the girl. Why?
”I…I need to go…”
”Wait, why?” As his hat was pushed towards his chest he clasped his hand over it and placed it onto his head, not caring if it was on right or not. Lost in a state of confusion he downed the second Incredible Hulk, not wanting to waste the drink then went to hers, downing it as well. Grimacing he tossed a fifty onto the bar top and set after the girl who had now disappeared.
What the hell did I do wrong now? He pushed his way through the crowd of people who were now shooting him glares. Though the mortals were whispering hateful words to one another, he could hear them quite clearly. They had wondered the same as he did. What happened?
He pushed past the two bouncers and followed after her sweet scent. Once outside he looked to his left then to his right. He heard her soft cough and followed after it, turning down into the alleyway which she attempted to hide in. ”Hey look, whatever I said wrong I take it back. I didn’t mean to run you off like that.” He stopped just a few yards away from her, careful not to scare her away again. ”Was it even something I said?”

?" His voice came as no surprise to her, she had known he was coming. His scent had filled her nares, his footsteps had ben audible as they drew nearer. She could not be bothered to run, and so she stood her ground. How did she answer him? Perhaps he knew exactly the reason, and was playing innocent. Perhaps he did not. " It's none of your concern why I 'ran off'," she said, her voice a controlled monotone. Her eyes remained fixed on the wall opposite her. She didnt need them to tell her if he moved any closer. Her ears were tuned into him, ready to absorb the slightest sound he would make if he moved. " Besides, you don't need to feign empathy to get another lapdance. It's my job, and when a man ooze's money as you do, I'm compelled to fulfil whatever sordid little fantasy you require.." Her voice was cold, and the hatred she seemed to project were not directed at him, but at his brother who was, as far as Elio knew, back in London brooding on the letter she had left him. Her head was turned, and her eyes fell upon his, holding his gaze. " That's all you want, Jaysin Yurameki." She last word was like acid in her mouth, coating her tongue, causing her to spit the syllables out. x [/blockquote]

Patiently waiting for her answer, Jay began digging into the pockets of his jeans in search of his pack of cigarettes and lighter. Finding them both, he pulled them out with a single hand keeping his eyes locked on the nearly naked girl. He held out the pack to offer her one but quickly drew back as she attacked him for being concerned. Scoffing, he slipped a cigarette between his lips and placed the pack into his back pocket.
”It is my concern because I want to apologize for whatever I did wrong.” The cigarette bounced up and down as he spoke, keeping is pressed between his lips. He brought up the black Zippo lighter and lit the end of the stick, inhaling deeply. He held his breath, letting the smoke dance about in his lungs. For a moment he spun the lighter between his thumb and middle finger then exhaled, letting the smoke fly out into the night sky.
”Besides, you don’t need to feign empathy to get another lapdance. It’s my job, and when a man ooze’s money as you do, I’m compelled to fulfill whatever sordid little fantasy you require…”
Feisty little beast. Letting a chuckle slip from his lips he took another drag of his cigarette then removed the stick, holding it between his fingers. ”I figured since you were ignoring me the moment you stepped into the damned building, I wouldn’t be getting anything out of you. I’m not expecting another lap dance or another cock tease. There’s just something about you that’s pulling at my interest. Why? I’m not sure but I’m determined to find out.” As his words escaped him, so did the smoke from the small cancer stick he oh so enjoyed.
The way she had spat his last name irked him a bit. It was as if she had known him for quite some time. Maybe she was a childhood friend that he had forgotten? No, probably not. ”Does my last name bother you or something? Or-” His voice was cut off as he listened to the light foot steps that suddenly sounded behind him. Quirking a brow, he slowly turned his head to catch a glimpse of who it was. Judging by the scent, it was a vampire and he expected to see one of the bouncers standing behind him but it was someone else. Spinning on his heel, he turned completely to get a better look and as he turned his back to Elio, his jaw dropped.

The cigarette in his grip drove her mad, and she was tempted to snatch the packet from him, but she did not. His words caught her slightly off guard; his reply was not what she was expecting.
"I figured since you were ignoring me the moment you stepped into the damned building, I wouldn’t be getting anything out of you. I’m not expecting another lap dance or another cock tease. There’s just something about you that’s pulling at my interest. Why? I’m not sure but I’m determined to find out.
" Cocktease. The word bought a slight giggle to her lips, and her face softened slightly. She looked back to the ground. He seemed so different to Kai, and yet in her mind she was sure they were related. Brothers? Cousins? Possibly even nephew and uncle? Father and son? She knew that Kai was a Vampire, an unchanging immortal, and virtually any blood relationship was possible. " Does my last name bother you or something? Or-" As his voice trailed off and he turned, she bought her head up. Her ears had been so tuned to Jay, checking for his movements, that she had completely missed the footfalls which had caught his attention. She opened her mouth, presuming it was one of the muscles, ready to tell them she was fine. And then it hit her; the scent of one so familiar. Her breath caught in her throat, her parted lips frozen in the position they were in. They then closed as she swallowed heavily. Her eyes were wide, and her body began to shiver slightly; a mix of anger and fear. She spoke, her voice venemous, laced with a frightened tremble. " Don't you dare come any closer.." x [/blockquote]

It didn’t take much effort to follow Elio. Since he was her sire, they had some sort of connection that would never be broken. A connection Kai had kept secret from Elio for good reasons. He knew all too well that the girl would eventually run off and this simple little power he had over her would come in handy.
Though it had taken him a few days to finally find the time to leave London in search for her he still had the same amount of determination to tear her limb from limb as he had when the letter was first left under his door. His office was destroyed due to his uncontrollable rage. Over a dozen women had died at his hands during his rampage, whether it was to feed from them or simply take out his aggression, they all felt his wrath and soon, so would Elio.
As the limo slowly came to a stop, Kai pressed his finger down on the small button, rolling down the tinted window. Sticking his head out from under the shadows, he looked up at the building in search of a sign. Elefang it read. What an odd name. The scent of vampires were mixed in with the scent of ‘the usual’; mortals. But there was something else. A horrid aura pierced through the rest and it caused Kai to grimace. It was a mutt. ”Disgusting creatures…”
Pushing the door open, he stepped out of the limo and straightened his suit jacket out a bit. Inhaling deeply, he grinned recognizing Elio’s sweet essence. Slowly and carefully, he followed it, stepping into the shadows of the narrow alleyway. Along with her aroma came the foul stench of the mutt. Was she back here fucking the one thing he hated most? He prayed for her own sake that she wasn’t.
He stopped for a moment, hearing Elio’s voice from around the corner. It was calming to hear that it was nothing but a simple conversation rather than moans and groans. Quietly he listened as the girl spoke to whomever this mutt was. His grin broadened slightly as she threw one insult after the other to the stranger. Good girl… Her next retort shocked him to say the least though.
”That’s all you want, Jaysin Yurameki.”
Jaysin, his twin brother, was here in New Orleans as well? What a pleasant surprise. He stood his ground, waiting for the perfect moment to reveal himself to them both. Excitement and anticipation rose within him as he pressed his lips tightly together, fighting the sinister laugh that wanted to escape his cold pale lips.
”Does my last name bother you or something? Or-“
That was his cue. Removing himself from the shadows he slowly turned the corner, a menacing grin plastered across his pale face. He could no longer fight the amusement he found in all of this and finally freed the laughter that had collected within him. ”Of course your last name bothers her. It’s the same as mine, brother.” His honey colored eyes looked over his twin’s face, studying his expression. ”Oh, don’t worry Jaysin. I’m just as surprised as you are.” ”Don’t you dare come any closer…”
Another sinister laugh left him as he stood his ground just a yard or so in front of Jaysin. ”Come now darling, did you not miss me? I sure did miss you…” The grin left his face and was replaced with a stern look. ”Come Elio,” he extended his arms, holding them out to her. ”Don’t make this any harder than it should be.”

SHE'S A DWELLING PLACE FOR DEMONS, she's a cage for every unclean spirit, every filthy bird.
The words he spoke to Jay flew past her ears, barely absorbed, as she focused on his face. Kai. She had known, deep down, that it would only be a few days for him to track her down. He aways seemed to have been able to, and she had never fathomed why. Then he turned to her, his face soured.
"Come now darling, did you not miss me? I sure did miss you... Come Elio, don't make this any harder than it should be."
A long, low growl left her lips, turning into a snarl as she exposed her fangs to him; an animalistic threat that would leave him reeling. Never had she bared her teeth to him, or snarled as she did. All of her hate bubbled up inside her. His trickery, his lies, his vulgar manners, the abuse she had suffered at his hands.. and his lack of respect for her. She had asked him to stay away, even had the decency not to just disappear, and yet here he was. She was hardly surprised.
"I'm going nowhere with you, you venomous snake, you vile demon, you.. you..."
Her chest pushed against its constraints, her breasts begging to be released from the corset's confines as her breathing became heavy, rapid, forcing her words out through the still-bared fangs. They oozed maliciousness. She snapped at him, becoming more and more animalistic. She was prepared to fight him now. The fear was there, but a strength rose up inside her, bursting through; you can only mistreat someone so long before they turn on you. This was the time.
"You fucking touch me, I will rip you apart.. I'll reach in and take a bite out of that shit you call a heart!"
Jay was no longer standing there, not in her eyes. All she could see was Kai, and she wanted him gone. She refused to be beaten and abused any longer; she was well past the end of her tether. She would fight for her freedom..

”It’s the same as mine, brother.”
Kai’s words repeated themselves over and over in his mind. The cigarette that was tucked between his fingers was now resting against the damp ground, rolling away from Jay. He remained still, his hands at his side as the shock took over him. Along with the shock came confusion. He tried his best to think back to the times of his childhood, trying to remember if he had ever been told about having a brother. He wasn’t.
”B-brother?” he stammered. He brought a hand up to wipe the sweat from his face. The man that stood before him that claimed to be his brother looked exactly like Jaysin. All except for his brown hair and his eyes. His piercing eyes. They sent a shiver through his spine and he couldn’t help but be frightened by this man. ”H-how? I don’t have a brother… I was raised as an only child!”
His confusion turned into frustration. He felt as if he had been left in the dark by his parents. How could they have kept something like this a secret from him? Did his cousin Miya know? If so, why didn’t she tell him as well. He had trusted her with everything and she did the same so why wouldn’t she tell him about this?
Elio’s venomous threats didn’t phase Jay one bit. All he was concerned with now was Kai. He needed answers. He wanted to know everything.

As Elio attempted to insult him, he let his hands fall to his sides as he rolled his shoulders in a shrug. He chuckled slightly at her choice of words. A venomous snake was something he never imagined seeing himself as but a demon? Perhaps. It was something he had been called many times throughout the years of being a bloodsucker.
”Elio, Elio, Elio… Why must you be so damned stubborn.” He let his fingers dance over the gun that was tucked between his stomach and belt concealed beneath his dress shirt. It was the very gun Elio had tried to threaten suicide a few nights prior. It just so happened to be his favorite gun as well so he carried the damn thing everywhere.
”You fucking touch me, I will rip you apart… I’ll reach in and take a bite out of that shit you call a heart!”
Amusement filled Kai as he let out yet another laugh. Sliding his tongue over his fangs he kept his eyes fixated on Elio. ”Darling, no matter what you say or do, you can’t kill me. You don’t even know how. Your threats do nothing but entertain me.” He took a moment to look over the girl’s attire, surprised with himself that he hadn’t taken notice to it the moment he made his presence known. ”I see you’re using your ‘talents’ to earn money. Whoring yourself out as usual I see…”
”B-brother? H-how? I don’t have a brother… I was raised as an only child!”
As his brother’s voice interrupted his and Elio’s little quarrel he let his eyes drift over to Jay. ”So is that what Ma and Pa told you?” He shook his head slightly as hurt and disappointment crept its way inside of him. All this time he had been kept a secret. A part of him had hoped that Jaysin knew something, anything about him.
”I’m your twin brother Jaysin…” His tone became soft, his expression now filled with disappointment. He kept his eyes fixated on his brother’s as he continued. ”When we were born, I was put up for adoption because Ma and Pa only wanted one child and they chose you over me. Soon after, Uncle Yokan adopted me and sent me to grow up in the outskirts of Tokyo and when I got older I got into his ‘business’ then moved out on my own to London where I have been for the past four years… I’m surprised no one, even Miya has told you about me.”
It hurt him to tell the story but no one else besides their cousin knew the entire thing. He pushed the past behind him and turned his attention back to Elio. His eyes drifting from the vampire to the mutt. ”It’s quite unfortunate you ended up a mutt though, Jaysin. The one thing I cannot stand…”
