Oh no she's laughing at me. Jaysin wasn't sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing that he was making her laugh. He looked around as if seeking help from any of the people that were now staring at them. Her statement about him learning when not to talk sent some sort of reassurance through him. If she didn't enjoy your company she would have left by now.
He set his light brown eyes back on her, a pout across his lips. "I just can't help it I get nervous when I'm around a beautiful girl and and and." He brought his hands up to his mouth and covered it, muffling anything else that decided to just come out of his throat. How embarrassing, just shut up!
"I'll allow you to seranade me with some of your creations. How does that sound?"
"Really?!" He shouted excitedly as he moved his hands away from his mouth and out to his sides. "I would love that!" Unconsciously he took her by her hand and began walking down the sidewalk towards his apartment building which was only a few blocks away.

Ashling calmed, chuckling as Jaysin covered his own mouth. She brought up one of her own hands, her fingertips covering her smile. She felt a little guilty, laughing like that. She had probably got him worried that she was laughing at him. And, while she kinda was, there was no need for him to become self conscious about himself. He was prooving to be quite adorable.
And besides. He had called her beautiful. That was always a good way to get to her good side. With Ashling, flattery got you everything. Ha!
When Jaysin's hands flew out to his sides, Ashling expected to be hugged again, but instead the man reached out and grabbed her hand. Ashling stumbled as, yet again, she was dragged off into an unknown direction. She didn't care. It was an adventure as long as he got home safely. That was something she considered important for sober people to do at the end of the night. They needed to help the poor drunkards home safe. No fun having slattered drunks all over the place, y'know?

Even though he was drunk he still knew exactly where his house was. The way he walked gave away the fact that he was far from being sober. He stumbled to the right nearly running into a newspaper dispenser and a light pole but quickly stopped, placing his hand on the light pole so Ashling ran into him instead. "Sorry sorry sorry."
He looked back at her and smiled shyly then walked around the pole he had nearly ran into and went onward. "We're almost there." He became nervous as the reached the front of the building. He hadn't brought a girl home before. Here in California at least. He was usually too busy with music or managing the club his cousin left him in charge of to go out and look for someone.
The apartment building itself looked like a hotel. There was a lobby with a security guard right in front who sat behind a desk and two elevators on each side. He held the glass door open for her and waited for her to walk in before he did. The security guard greeted them with a smile and a wave. "Welcome back Jay!"
"Hey Paul!" He made his way over to the security desk and shook the hand of the security guard, leaning against the desk so he didn't fall over. He gestured for Ashling to come over. "This is my friend Ashling. Ashling this is Paul, the security guard."

"oof!" Ashling had not expected the stumbling man to stop so quickly. And when he did, she ran right into him. She reachedp and rubbed her nose. It had mashed into one of Jaysin's shoulderblades and she was trying to masage it back ino the right shape when Jaysin was off again. She allowed him to tug her along. Drunk he was, but he made sure she didn't run into anything else.
Ashling smiled and nodded her understanding at Jaysin's assurance that they were almost there. The redhead noticed his fidgeting and was urious as to why. Ashling's face lit up in a blush. She wasn't unaware of the usual translation of "taking someone home" with whomever. But, she knew that was not the idea. But it would still be at the back of their minds, and she knew that.
She thanked aysin softly as she passed by him, he was being a gentleman and holding the door open for her. She looked up at the security guard as he welcomed Jaysin. A kind grin spread across her fac as she was introduced to Paul. "Well, good to know ya, Paul!"

The security guard let out a hearty laugh realizing Jaysin's state of mind. He looked over to the redheaded woman and smiled, nodding towards her. "Good luck with this one!" he joked with a kind smile. "He can be a handful when he's drunk." Paul gestured towards Jaysin as he spoke.
Jay simply scoffed under his breath and threw an arm around Ashling's shoulders. "I am not, don't listen to him." He playfully stuck his tongue out at Paul then to her then lead her towards the elevator to the left of the large desk. He pressed his index finger against the small down button and looked up as the numbers began lighting up and counting down.
He began wondering if he had cleaned his apartment before he left. "Hmmm..." he said aloud as he continued to think. Once the elevator doors opened he quickly stepped in, not giving the people aboard a chance to step out. He pulled Ashling in with him and pushed the "10" button.

Ashling's grin widened and she rolled her eyes at the security guards comment. 'I've noticed,' she thought ruefully to herself. Jaysin was a handful, to be sure. But they were doing ok so far andshe wasn't going to complain. She had had to deal with much worse before. Like that poor boy, on his twenty-first birtday she'd had to deal with a couple months back. It took her days, no weeks to get the smll out of her pub after he had finished emptying his stomach.
Ashling slumped just a little when the weight of Jaysin's arm rapped over her shoulders. 'Great.' the thought ran through her head. 'Now I'm gonna get dragged around some more...' And she was right. He was off, in full possesive leader mode. He gded her to the elevators after childishly sticking his tongue out at the guard. Ashling smirked at this gesture. It was, pretty much...Just one more adorable thing about Jaysin when he was drunk.
Ashling was pulled into the elevator and, in Jaysin's hurry to get into the contraption, bumped up against a few people trying to get out. "Pardon us. Excuse us." Ashling mumbled as she pushed lightly against Jaysin to make room for the strangers trying to leave. She ended up placing a hand on his chest to provide herself with a better balance. She thought it ridiculous to be leaning on a drunk man for support. The people who passed by her gave understanding grins and accepted her appology easily. They glanced at Jaysin and Ashling knew. This had probably not been the first time his neighbors had seen him come home drunk.

The ride in the elevator was far from pleasant. Though it only went up, it made Jaysin nauseated. When it went up it felt like his stomach had moved up into his throat. His face scrunched together as he made a look of disgust. When he drank it took a lot for him to actually throw up but it didn't take much to make him feel sick.
Moving his eyes up towards the glowing numbers above the door, he sighed softly in relief. Only two more floors and they would be at their destination. Thank goodness. He tapped his foot impatiently against the elevator floor ad it finally came to a stop. It seemed like minutes rather than seconds for the doors to slide open. Come on, come on.
Once they were able to exit, he slid his arm off of Ashling shoulders and reached into his jacket pocket for his keys. He stumbled to the side, running into the wall and let out a slight laugh. Good thing his apartment was only a few yards from the elevator. As he reached the door he fumbled around with his keys, having some trouble finding the right one. "Dang it." he complained out loud but finally got the right key into the keyhole.
"Here we are!" He announced throwing the door open for her and flipping on the light switch beside the door. The place was more of a studio loft rather than an actual apartment. To the right was his kitchen which was a little small then down the short hallway was his living room to the left and his dining room to the right. Above the living room was the loft which was his bedroom along with his bathroom.

Ashling groaned very lightly at the feeling of her stomach moving when the elevator jerked toward it's destination. She glanced up at the man beside her and her eyes widened as she slid one foot back in order to dive away if necessary. She recognized that green tint. But he held himself together nicely. Ashling let out a sigh of relief when they were able to exit the elivator.
Only to end up leaning against thwall next to his door, arms crossed over her chest with her ankles crossed about a foot and a half away from the wall. She watched him patiently. His eyesight was probably spinning again. Not to mention a slightly screwed depth perception. Ashling wasn't going to rush him.
When the door was flung wide for her to enter, Ashling stepped in gracefully and looked around. Her Eyes went wide in excitement. She loved this place. If she had not found her appartment above her pub when she first arived in NY, she would have bought a place very close to this. Accoustics were great for fiddles and other instruments in such apartments. Ashling turned to look at the man who entered after her, linking her fingers behind her back. "So! What all do you play in this particular appartment? What sounds best?"

After she stepped in, Jay closed the door behind himself and quietly locked it. He walked down the hallway a bit and flipped on another light which lit up both the living room and the dining area. The light revealed his mess. Balls of paper lay all around the wood floor along with pencils and some pens. The papers had been filled with songs he became unsatisfied with.
Quickly, he began walking around the room collecting the balls of papers in his arms. "Sorry for the mess." he offered apologetically. How embarrassing. He knew he should have picked up his mess before leaving. Hung around the walls were various paintings he had done and old guitars he had accumulated throughout the years. From electric guitars to acoustic, he had them all. At the end of the living room near the balcony enterance sat his piano.
Once all the wads of paper were collected he set them all down on the glass coffee table. He then walked around and began collecting the pens and pencils. "Would you like anything to drink?" It was apparent that he was sobering up now. Finally. He was getting tired of embarrassing himself.

Ashling stared around her in wide-eyed wonder. 'What beauties...' she thought to herself as her fingertips gently carressed each guitar she passed. She stooped to pick up a few wads of paper and handed them to Jaysin as he walked by. She marveled over the piano, leaning over to take in every angle of it. She hadn't seen one like this in awhile.
She chuckled softly. "I don't mind a mess." She said. "My appartment is trash compaired to this..." Which it was...It was an unfinished room with no walls separating anything...But she loved it. Nothing as finished as this place, but...Whatever.
Ashling straightened up and turned toward Jaysin, wandering gracefully in his direction. "Umm...I don't really need anything...Make sure nobody gets any water for awhile, ok...Only thicker liquids..." She paused with a light smirk on her face. "Don't want to get drunk again..."

Suddenly, he had remembered that she wanted to hear him play. His eyes moved from the guitar he had left lying on the couch over to the piano which hadn't been touched in weeks. He looked back over to her, waiting for her to give him an answer as if she knew what exactly he was thinking at that moment. Even though he performed at many shows as the singer or lead guitarist, he felt shy performing in front of Ashling.
"Make yourself at home." He went over to the couch and removed the guitar from it, propping it against wall near the entertainment center. The room still seemed to spin just a bit but he was thankful that he wasn't feeling nauseated anymore. He was now buzzing, which felt a lot nicer than the state he was in just a little bit ago.
Jay straightened up the pillows on his couch and took a seat himself after removing his jacket and tossing it onto the recliner. He patted the area beside him, gesturing for her to take a seat. "Are you sure you don't want anything? Pizza or a sandwich maybe?"

Ashling divested her self og her denim lacket and layed it across the arm of the couch, sinking in next to Jaysin. "Hmm..."She hummed to herself. "I hate to make you get up after you sit down, but..." Ashling was really thinking about some of her favorite after drinking beverages. "Have you cranberry juice or any form of carbinated beverage?"
Usually after drinking Jack Ashling had...More Jack...Until she went up to her appartment. In which she would play her pipes or her fiddle until she fell asleep. But, of course, neither of those courses were available to her here. So she would make due with light beverages and not embarass the poor man more by drinking more alcohol in front of him.
Ashling looked at all the guitars across the wall. Then her eyes wandered to the piano. She loved the piano. She wondered if he would play that for her. She did hope so. As such. "Hey! Would you play your piano for me? I love the piano!"

Shaking his head a bit he stood up and smiled over to her. "I don't mind. If I sit down I'll most likely fall asleep and we don't want that happening. He let out a slightly nervous laugh and made his way across the room towards the kitchen. Before stepping onto the Italian tiled flooring he kicked his all black Converse off and set them aside. He remembered he just mopped the other night and didn't want to have to do it again.
"Cranberry juice just happens to be my favorite!" He threw open the fridge door and grabbed the jug of juice that was now half gone. He drank juice like it was water. He moved across the small space and grabbed a glass cup from one of the cabinets. Through the small opening in the wall that separated the kitchen from the dining area, he looked over to her then to the piano.
A smile crossed his face as she asked him to play for her. Of course he would do it, he loved playing. He was though, a bit shy. He wasn't used to performing for just a single person.
"Yeah, I'll play a song or two for you." He poured her a cup of the cranberry juice, put the rest back in the fridge and walked back over to her. "Here you are ma'am." He set the glass onto the coffee table and made his way over to the piano. He hadn't touched it in weeks. He was too busy messing around with his guitar.
Taking a seat on the small piano bench, he ran his fingers over the keys. For once he had a reason to finally play with the neglected instrument. He lightly pressed his fingers down on a few notes, letting out a soft sigh. Once he was relaxed he began playing.

((Yikes! I hadn't noticed they'd made a werewolf of you already...Wow. Go Jaysin.))
Ashling noticed the nervousness in Jaysin's voice when he mentioned not wanting to go to sleep. She wondered why. She thought she could understand if he was uncomfortable with a stranger being in his appartment when he slept, in which case, he didn't hafta be nervous. Just kick her out. She shrugged as he returned with her juice.
She reached out, thankful for the bitter-sweet red liquid. "Ah! Thank you, Jaysin!" She brought the glass to her lips after picking up the now chilled glass and sighed in contentment. She loved cranberry juice. A mini-wicked smirk appeared on her face. Oh yes. She loved cranberry juice...Especially with vodka.
Ashling was interupted in her musing as Jaysin moved to the piano. She studied him on his way. The way he moved and sat. The was he slid his fingers over the keys and then....Ah. The sweet sound of those keys being pressed to produce their music. Ashling leaned back into the couch, her legs crossed and her eyes closed as she tilted her head back to rest against the back of the couch. She smiled softly. "That's beautiful, Jaysin..."

Once he had finished the song he turned back and looked at her with a crooked smile. He was glad she liked it. It was a song he had written a few years back when he was younger. "Thanks..." he said softly, almost in a whisper. His gaze moved over towards a clock which hung over the small opening towards the kitchen. It was nearly sunrise. He then realized how tires he really was.
Turning his attention back to Ashling, he wondered if she was just as tired as he was. She must have been. Especially if she had just traveled here a few hours before meeting him at the bar. Was she not jet lagged? He knew he would have been if he was in her position.
If she wanted to go back to her hotel room he would offer to take her there but he was enjoying her company. Instead of mentioning anything he turned back towards the piano and began playing another song. This time just playing whatever notes came to mind.
