Jacob nodded and couldn't have agreed more. There was a certain serene quality that flowed through Paris, a more soothing atmosphere than London could ever present. Even the vampires there seemed friendlier, if such could've existed, in France than in London. But London was where The coven resided, and through his loyalty Jacob had been willing to relocate for the sake of the coven and Destiny's protection. Jacob nodded with a grin.
"I see. Well then are you ready to go?"

Gathering his things, Polnareff nodded. As they walked, he made a mental note to sneak out and hunt later that night. He hungrily slid his tongue over his white teeth. He was yearning for fresh meat. He CRAVED it. Simply imagining the sweet taste of flesh bathed in warm blood caused his mouth to water.Nudging Jacob, he asked:
"How far is your place?"

Jacob walked, and was so impatient. If he was able to use the speed he acquired from the black nail coven he'd arrive home in mere minutes, but due to this facade he had to put up for his cousin, he'd have to walk at this annoying sluggish pace.
"About ten or fifteen minutes away."
It was such a struggle to walk like a normal person again, a feeling he hadn't had for quite some time now. He looked over at Jean and his face was becoming paler with each second passing, his eyes foraging through the streets as if looking for something. He wanted to ask about his condition again but felt it would become too much of a nuisance to ask him. Whatever was wrong with him, he'd figure it out when he'd get home.
"Can you handle it?"

Polnareff nodded, giving Jacob a smile.
"I'll be fine. A short walk won't kill me."
He said this more to himself than to his cousin. He started to feel anxious, and began to twitch. At this point he was fighting to keep control-and losing. He hoped Jacob wouldn't notice his strange behavior.
"You got a mint or somethin?"

Jacob noticed his behavior. The way he was acting, moving without no perfectly rhythmic pattern, he wondered if his cousin had been suffering from a few convulsions. Jacob did his best not to stare at him, if not only to make him feel uncomfortable, but it was something that couldn't have been helped. Jean's recent behavior had been odd all night, and though he still retained some of the key characteristics that still identified him as Jacob's cousin, it was equally foreboding. Jacob snapped out of his gape when Jean asked the question.
"No.....are you alright? You look a bit....shook up."

"I'm fine. Just a little tired though." Jean faked a yawn. "I'll probably turn in as soon as we get to your place. Today has been tiring for me."
Polnareff really wished that Jacob would stop talking to him. It took all of his willpower to concentrate on walking and not go berserk. "I feel like a drug addict. As if every fiber of my being, every muscle and tendon needed to have flesh. As if every atom of my body needed fresh meat to sate it. This....this feeling is nothing less than maddening. The truth is, I do need it. I want it. And I CRAVE it."
Polnareff began to walk faster, spurred on by the thought of tasting rich, thick blood in his mouth. His eyes were bloodshot now. Dark pupils gazing from a void of red.
"Just got to hang on a little while longer.........I can do it....just a few minutes..."

Jacob was only a few minutes away from their location, and so far there was this radical change in Jean's expression. His skin was becoming so pale it became closer to the color of snow, his eyes became a very distinct yet indistinguishable color. One that Jacob couldn't explain nor define. And his words were becoming more threatening with a very dark and disturbing echo accompanying his tone, so loud in range and proximity that Jacob swore it could've been heard for miles. It shook the very foundation of his hearing. It was clear that Jean wasn't going through something normal, something of an everyday experience. Quickly, Jacob grabbed Jean's arm and spun him around, his grip tight, his eyes glowing a red crimson color, the conveyance of his emotion.
"What the hell is going on with you!?"
Jacob's patience quickly diminished and all he cared for were answers.....truthful answers.

Polnareff stared into Jacobs eyes. His sudden surge of anger was laughable. Jean considered his options for a moment. He was getting tired of these constant questions Giving Jacob a stony glare, he spoke in a low voice, laced with irritation. "Listen man, I'm fine. I just need some water....I'll just get something when we hit your place. IT'S NO BIG DEAL." These last words he spoke were mostly for Jacob's benefit......he wasn't sure how long he could keep himself from transforming.....

Jacob responded with a heated glance of his own, searing through the irises of his cousin before moving along, walking through the patches of grass leading towards his home. He began to wonder if bringing Jean to his home had been a fatal mistake....fatal for him, at least. There was something in the air foreign and foreboding, a presence that opposed his ease. It was as distinct as a touch of the hand, only thing was he didn't know what kind of hand had been touching him. But finally Jacob's home was peering over the trees and grasses that surrounded its perimeter.
"We're here."

With a sigh of relief, Jean relaxed. For a second he thought he might have to fight his cousin. The menacing look had faded from Jacob's eyes....for now. Smiling, Polnareff stepped onto the porch and rapped his knuckles against the door. He remembered Jacob telling him about a wife, and spun to face him"I forgot to ask, but.....just how long have you been married?"

Jacob chuckled, finding humor in more of the answer than the question.
"About a week. It's a long story."
Jacob treaded through the fields of bushes that rose from the ground, looking like dwarves with the night's presence setting around it, shaping its appearance in Jacob's perception. He past several trees and the house was there, in stark focus, in the middle of the woods, the lights were off, signaling that his wife was still sleeping. He heaved a sigh of relief, for he wouldn't have to explain Jean's sudden presence until the next morning. He made his way towards the house with Jean's foot-steps rustling through the grass behind him.
"Hope you enjoy your stay."
He suddenly tightened his muscles and kept his guard. Jean's behavior was odd tonight and Jacob had the feeling his cousin's oddities would only increase.

Polnareff smiled, giving Jacob a pat on the back. "Man I am gonna be out like a light. Just click! And I'm on the floor." Looking around, it seemed Jean had just noticed the odd location in which Jacob's house was located. "So are you guys antisocial or somethin? I guess having neighbors is kinda annoying huh?" Polnareff inwardly smiled. this was perfect. sneaking out for a midnight snack would be oh so much easier now.

Jacob treaded through the grass, finally reaching its end, and entered the house, leaving the lights off for there were no need for lights. He tip toed with caution, not wanting to wake up his wife, trying to avoid her nagging as much as possible. It was then when Jacob turned to Jean, his sharp, vampyric eyes able to see through the dark as if it was as clear as day.
"We wanted to be secluded. Hey, you don't need the light, right?"

Polnareff could only see Jacob's silhouette in the dark hallway of the house. It took awhile before Polnareff's eyes adjusted. He had almost forgotten that his sight was a mere fraction of his werewolf form's. "It's okay man. I'm, fine.......so were will I be sleeping?" Polnareff nearly walked into a wall trying to follow Jacob.

Jacob couldn't help but to chuckle when he saw Jean shift away from the wall he was about to bump into. He made his way up the steps to walk through the narrow hallway, heading towards the door where Jean's new room would be. He opened it, a whirlwind of dust escaped the room, for there were many old items clouding it, but nonetheless it was a fit living condition until Jacob and Mrs. Pierre had the chance to clean everything up. He glanced over at Jan, trying to decipher what he thought through his face.
"So, you like?"
