OCC: Sorry about any trouble I caused. My brother chats with his friends after nine so that 's when I usually call it a day.
"There is another of my kind nearby." she growled low to Vagus, immediately tensed for anything
"I know," Adam replied to Emiste seeming not the least bit worried. "Your kind are everywhere. In fact I've met more of your kind than my own." He paused for a minute then looked into his companion's lovely eyes. "I guess now's as good a time as any to tell you what my kind is seeing as how when we meet up with this corpse he'll tell you himself. I'm a werewolf, your kinds sworn enemy. However as I said before I've met more vampires than werewolves and thus hold no ill will toward your kind as a whole. Well, not the females of your kind. Seems like all the hotties are vampires for some reason." He shrugged then turned away from Emiste as he continued walking down the path that would lead him right by the newcomer. "It's your choice now my dear. You can either stay by my side or go to this corpse. Most likely he won't take too kindly to my presence and if you're with me I doubt that will go over lightly. And seeing as how you're weak from thirst I doubt you'll want to pick a fight." Adam said all this with his trademark calmness even though inside he cursed the new corpse. Just when he was starting to enjoy his new female friend that thing had to come and spoil it all. Now most likely he'd lose Emiste, not that he'd blame her. Even if she wanted to fight she seemed to be in no condition to. Adam would fight to save himself and her if need be. However she had no way of knowing that. Oh well, he thought. Only time would tell.

(OOC: Sorry I'm in England here and needed a sensible way to leave it so I could go to bed. It was after 3am here when I logged off. I tend to get more involved than that. Right back to the Plot then lol.)
He stood, stretching lazily with a yawn.
"Can't hurt to see what's going on ... " He muttered to himself, bunging his hands back into his pockets and trudging off in the direction of the scent. He was using his nose so as not to have to turn the music off. He always had music playing, even when he was hunting. He begrudged turning the volume down but realised that if he didn't, it made life easier for anyone or anything hunting him.
A little way away he could see a woman conversing with a gentleman. The old, slightly dead, scent was coming from her. She must have been on of his kind, which side she was playing on, however, remained unanswered. He couldn't quite tell with the man with her. He certainly wasn't a vampire, but he didn't smell quite human either.
Deduction told him that he had possibly just met his first Were. Blaze had taught him not to call them Werewolves, she reasoned that simply because only shape shifters that turned into wolves had been encountered. The simple fact that they existed theoretically presented the possibility that other forms of Were creature could as well. Plus she said it was probably more polite.
Leaning against a tree not far from them, he tried to blend his six foot, leather clad bulk into the shadows as best he could. For someone build like a barn he was having serious problems with this. In the end he just gave up and sat down. If they weren't friendly he'd just have to run away.
He watched them with amusement, only half distracted by the melodies following him.

(OOC: its ok - both of you. It's prolly a good thing to know what time zones we are all in so we can keep up better. I am in America on Eastern Standard time, so right now it is 7:15pm...and now onward with the plot!)
So she had guessed right about him - he WAS a werewolf. Actually the first werewolf she ahd ever met, and she had to admit, he was pretty good looking. It surprised her somewhat to hear that he was suppossedly her sworn enemy, but then she reasoned, she didn't exactly keep up with many vampires, or anyone really - so any kind of coven-pack animosity was foreign to her - who didn't associate with any coven. She was a loner, that is until this unusual night... She looked him up and down once more, deciding finally he was worth the time, and risk. What is life anyway without a little risk? she asked herself.
"I'm with you." she finally said. "Whatever hostility there is between my kind and yours does not concern me." She paused, sensing the movement of the other vampire. "He is close." she stated, pausing again to smell the air - closing her eyes to focus on what the rest of her senses could tell her. " Very close, in fact." She spun, scanning the treeline with narrowed, now red eyes - the color they became when she was angry or tensed for battle. SHe spoke over her shoulder, "He is there, by that tree." She said low, not pointing. "Just so you know...." she glanced backwards, " I may be thristy, which makes my will weak, but I am not so desperate I can not fight." she said pointedly. In other words, she thought, don't do anything stupid and get yourself hurt trying to protect me - your blood spilled would be the greatest detriment to us now. She knew she could fight, whether or not she could resist fresh blood was another matter entirely.... "Get ready." She growled out. She was not thrilled about this...not at all.

(OOC: oh and I hope you guys noticed I edited the thread to only be open to us three - just to keep it from getting too crazy all at once - in case someone else decided to jump in...but if at any time you think we need/you want another player, let me know and I'll open it again.)

He smirked. His stealthy, sitting under a tree probably in plain sight, approach had obviously worked.
Grinning widely he scratched his head and waved to the other vampire. She hadn't attacked him yet which was probably a good thing. He didn't like fighting which is why he spent his time helping to co-ordinate the others in the family. He did quite like peace. It was one little word that killed animosity much more quickly than any weapon ever could.
He removed his ear phones and placed them in his lap. No way he was turning the music off for anyone, he could hear just fine from there. He called out in a slightly embarrassed tone. He'd made some effort to stay hidden, he just wasn't very good at it.
"Erm yes ... hello there ... don't mind me I was just out for a .. er .. walk and I happened to erm ..."
He laughed nervously thumbing the lappel of his jacket and looked at the ground. He was doing fairly well he thought. He'd managed a few words and didn't appear to be bleeding. This was either one of those friendly vampire/were meetings he'd been told about or he was making such an ass of himself that he couldn't possibly ever appear threatening. He coughed.
"Nice night for a walk?"
"What would Blaze do in a situation like this?" He thought. "Other than probably look at him and burst out laughing." This vampire stuff was taking a lot to get used to. It was easy to be outgoing behind his booth in the club. Why did he have to turn into a social nightmare everywhere else?

The universe was falling to pieces. That was the ONLY explanation for tonight's events. First her curiosity bug that would NOT just leave her alone and had landed her in the company of a werewolf and now this....Her eyes were probably bulging in shock. Was he actually addressing them? Either this was a complete and utter moronic vampire that did not understand that he could easily be dead had she been in a less forgiving mood or he was an extremely young vampire.....he eyes narrowed, scrutinizing him. He really was not good at blending, although it didn't seem he was really trying to anymore. Not good - not good at all. She wavered between lunging for him, knocking him to the ground and growling in his face that he had better improve his stealth techniques or he was very soon to be a non-existing vampire and doing nothing at all. Hesitation - also not good, she thought, Good God what has become of me tongiht? The moments her mind wasted in wavering favored doing nothing, so she simply stared. Unmoving, unwelcoming - whatever he was young or moronic, which ironically seemed to often go hand in hand, he was not a threat - at least not in the conventional sense of the word.
Having no intentions for immediate action of her own, she sideglanced at Vagus as if to say Alright, so what now?

Standing he shifted his massive bulk from foot to foot.
She didn't seem to be very happy. Either he'd done something to upset her or was as he had previously thought making a total fool of himself. He shrugged. He'd done it now. Sticking only one head phone in as not to appear rude he lumbered over to them.
Smiling weakly he extended a hand. "Well nothing wrong with being friendly," he thought.
"I'm Crymzon." He said in a booming voice. He would have possibly been intimidating if he wasn't so nervous. "You're one of us right? Erm another you know ..." He coughed trying to form his words. "I'm sorry I'm not very good with strangers, I was just curious is all. I was just out for a stroll and ... well I didn't expect to meet anyone so late at night. Certainly not another you know what out here."
He scratched his head desparately trying not to look as ridiculous as he thought he did.
"I'm new ... to London and though it best to explore a little bit. First night off and all that. Probably working too hard." He took a deep breath. "I'll be going then."
Wincing and cursing under his breath he turned to walk away. He was fascinated by the two but he probably wasn't going to win any friends coming across the way he was.

((OOC: AHHHH - where is ADAM??!!! I need him to post!!! Sorry - gonna have to delay my reply until he posts, I can't honestly rp Emiste without having EVERYONE's actions....but don't be too offended by her, she's just very guarded, especially, and perhaps ironically, with her own kind, and she doens't like weak individuals, so until she knows you - she's going to be hostile. Just FYI))

(OOC - not a problem, I know how difficult it can be. I'll not be about for much longer though. Nearly 3am as it is and I have work in the morning. I'll try and squeeze on more post in before I hit the sack - As a pointer Crymzon isn't moronic lol he is very new though and he's appalling around the general public unless he's at work or on a mission.)

(OOC - Whatever you feel is best I'm not going anywhere so if not I'll just post when I get home tomorrow. Yeah for a 6'3" lumbering mass of muscle he really isn't what you call intimidating unless he's putting it on lol (that has nothing to do with him being new he's always been that way.
I think this thread could get really interesting)

OCC: Ounce again sorry for the trouble. One of my good friends called me up to play some Unreal Tournament. By the time I got back it was around 10PM and someone else was on the computer so I called it a day. As for time zones, I'm in the great US of A in Eastern Standard too so right now it's 5:10 in the morning, another hour and I'm off to work.
"Why the rush?" Adam asked with a friendly smile. "If ya think you've made a fool of yourself join the club. It happens to everyone. Precious few can gaze upon the godlike appearance of Adam Vagus and not be dumbfounded." He said this in a joking way. Although he knew he was all that and a bag of Frito Lays, Adam wasn't above self deprecating humor. With a sideways quick glace at Emiste that told her everything was all right the 6' 3" werewolf continued, "I too am new to London, a tourist in fact. Came here to see the sights, and what sights they were," he said again glancing at Emiste, this time with lust briefly blazing in his eyes. "So why don't we sit and chat together, one tourist to another?" Taking the lead, as a man should, Adam took Emiste's hand and said, "That tree where you were sitting looks like a good spot." He then guided her over to the spot. "This will do." Sitting down he pulled the lovely vampire gently down to sit beside him. He would of preferred her in his lap but the aversion she'd shown previously when he held her dictated that this was probably better.

Emiste was definitely out of her comfort zone. Although the newcomer seemed innocent enough - she would have rather ripped his face off with her teeth than sit and converse with him. She did NOT like strangers....although that seemed in direct conflict with what she was doing now, allowing Vagus to take her hand and lead her to the tree. She knew he wanted her - she saw it in his eyes, but she was too dumbstruck by the turn of events tonight to really object to his touch.....wasn't even sure if she wanted to object. So she found herself sitting beside him, still silent, glaring at the vampire who called himself crymzon. God, I need a drink[/i she thought exasperatedly.

He relaxed slightly, turning back to the other two. They seemed friendly enough but he couldn't help getting the feeling that he wasn't what the other member of his kind considered to be a suitable member of the species. This didn't really bother him. He wasn't going to become dark and brooding or some kind of huge killing machine simply because his breed had changed.
He took a perch next to the two, his nerves, though still evident, ebbing slightly. Enough for him to control the waver in his voice and stop him stammering. His tone managed to take on a very warm, friendly, note and he smiled broadly.
"I wouldn't say I was a tourist ... well not now at least, thought I still don't really know my way around. I haven't had much time to explore, you see I work most nights. I don't know whether you know anything of the nightlife but I'm a DJ, slowly getting known a bit now too. My name is Carl, Carl Graves, Crymzon is my handle on the circuit, but it seems to have stuck.
So what brings you two out tonight?"
He smiled again almost forgetting any sense of danger. It didn't matter what these two were, it was only important who they were. He wasn't a conventional vampire so he decided to push the conversation in a more unconventional direction. This being one away from inter-race politics and the like.
