Michael stared at Shaden, he wasn't angry he was calm and collected at this point "Charming. You are quite old are you not? The age of you, I would have thought you wouldn't let somebody get under your skin as easy as that. Calm down old man, if you don't want me to comment, don't show your feelings in public" He felt like Shaden was out of line, it wasn't Michaels fault that Shaden was too sensative "Hate me if you wish Shaden, I didn't come here to make friends. I am here for business"
He was making enemies fast, not the right way direction to go. He looked over to Sevanni "Pleased to meet you" If he was the co-leader then he didn't want to upset him--to much. Michael slowly stood up and shot Shaden a cold stare "Come and find me later" He said calmly, he knew Shaden wanted to brutalize him, and Michael wasn't known to back down from a fight.

Chloe sat in silence. She wasn't in the mood for a fight, and honestly in her mind it wouldn't be much of a fight. She would win of course. But she made no move toward him and said nothing. If he was smart he would learn fast that she wasn't one to piss off. She leaned her head against Kadens shoulder. This was supposed to be a nice little gathering. Instead it was turning into one big fight.
She politely smiled and nodded to Sevanni as he came in.
Shaden really should learn to control himself, but his quick temper made it fun. It was entertaining. Chloe looked at Kaden, she wondered if he was amused by all this as she was. But as fun as this all was, she wanted to get this over with. Maybe herself and Kaden could find something fun to do.

He was very happy to find Aubrey in the best greet towards him. He had succeeded in showing her that there was no bad blood between the two, and he was not after what others were. His hand fell to his side after Shaden shook it. He didn't really care for him much. He could sense that there was more to his story, or maybe perhaps hers.
"Likewise."
Came Sevanni's reply.
"Hmm. I must have missed something rather interesting."
He stated to no-one in particular. He leaned against the bar now, his drink in hand as he now took a sip. He couldn't help but smell her. She was so close, and it went well with the hot sting of the fiery liquid in his throat.

Aubrey glanced over at Chloe and suppressed a laugh. She was too darling for her own good. She sighed. She knew this was a semi bad idea. She shot Michael a 'I told you so glance' before easing against the bar nest to Sevanni.
"Don't worry. We have all missed something at one point or another." She took the Jack from him and re-filled her glass before giving it back. Her mood was slightly better, but she was still frustrated. She was ready for Xavier and Jacob to come so she could leave.
Aubrey stood there, brooding slowly looking from one face to another.

It was depressing seeing Aubreys mood. She wasn't like this before, she has been distant since he first met her, now she just seemed irritated. The mood was depressing. He felt like he had made two enemies. Michael was arrogant but Chloe was so much more in his mind. He was older than her and could probably taker her on with ease, but if Shaden joined in he would be done for.
He nodded to Aubrey acknowledging her earlier warning. Everyone seemed to hate his guts. The new guy is hazed everywhere. Its just human nature, which is much like vampire nature.
If the co-leader was here then Xavier would probably come too. He just had to meet him, see if he lived up to his reputation. Michael was short with these people because he felt like they expected him to look up to them because he hadn't met vampires before, he had been a vampire for 182 years, he knew just as much about being a vampire than most of the people here with maybe the exeption of Shaden.

He smirked dullfully to her words. It meant the same old bullshit. He was rather upset that she took the bottle without asking. She had done that before with his drink before she threw one at him. He dismissed it however because it was her. She had a way about her that really made him try and mellow out. If he was a mortal in the seventies, he would be stoned right now.
"And where is Xavier? Glad to see that I am not that late."
He grinned jokingly. He hated being late.

Kaden looked from face to face as an amused grin cracked his features. It all made sense now. Well, at least the gist made since. Aubrey was pissed off at Shaden. Not just kinda sorta, but severely pissed. Kaden chuckled lightly and pressed into Chloe. He breathed her in and reluctantly let out his breath.
He eyed Michael carefully. Kade didn't like him. Not at all. He decided to ignore the room, at least until Xavier arrived. He did wink at Shaden though. Poor guy. Kade had been present while Aubrey was blasting Xavier a few times, if she would talk to him that way, he could only imagine what she would say to Shaden.
He cuddled closer to Chloe, running his fingers through her hair. He leaned down to whisper in her ear. the last thing he wanted to do was break this uncomfortable silence. "When this is over, lets get out of here."

Chloe continued to glance around the room, not really stopping to look at anything or anyone. Although her gaze did seem to fall on Michael more often. She felt a hidden challenge coming from him. He was arrogant. Too arrogant. He didn't seem to fully realize the powers the Coven gave them. Age matters little when you have such power. And Chloe had more then enough strength and power to shut him up or better yet; kill him.
She had no clue where Xavier was, so she didn't answer. Though she was starting to wonder the same thing herself. Normally he would have been here by now. Oh well. Maybe if he didn't show the meeting would end sooner.
She looked back at Kaden and saw her own amusement reflected back in his eyes. She smiled at him as he ran his fingers through her hair. "And where shall we go?" She whispered back to him with an innocent smile. Chloe had been looking for some fun lately, and Kaden was the perfect person for that. She sighed happily as she trailed her fingers up and down his arm. And her eyes returned to wandering around the room.

Shaden simply rolled his eyes at Michael's little rant. He sounded as if he was trying to teach Shaden how to act. Him! Of all people. He smiled. This guy just really had no idea what he was asking for. But to tell the truth, Shaden wasn't really all that upset. After all everyone was allowed at least one or two stupid mistakes.
He caught Kadens wink and smiled but it quickly vanished as the guilt and shame seemed to finally catch up to him and it washed over him, and he lowered his head. He really hoped Aubrey's bad mood wasn't ALL because of him. But he knew for sure some or most of it was.
He sighed. This was going to be a long night. He could tell already. Plus Xavier still hadn't got here, and that was sure to be loads of fun. Shaden couldn't help but piss of their wonderful leader. Which was partly why he didn't bother saying anything more to Michael. He wanted to save his energy.
He slipped behind the bar, looking for something to drink. After a few seconds he found what he was looking for. Vodka. He hardly drank anything else. He poured himself a glass and then sat back down on the bar. He just sat and waited for what ever was going to happen to happen. Whether it was a fight or not it made no difference to him. He just wanted this night done and over with.

Jacob managed to slip in underneath the noses of the other members. His all black attire made him camouflage into his shadowed surroundings, an area covered and filled with such blackness only Jacob's vampyric eyes allowed him to see with little strain. His eyes scanned over at the newcomer and envisioned himself a few months back, when he had been introduced to the Black Nail Coven due to Xavier's hand. That man managed to change things forever. Unfortunately, his reserved nature prevented him from drawing a connection with many of the other members, and after witnessing Xavier's transformation, he became a bit weary of his fellow members. After that night it had been apparent that there were still layers to the coven hidden.
But tonight wasn't his night, it was all of their nights, mostly centered around the newcomer. He stood, feeling invisible, undetectable, unnoticeable, a .65 stirred martini in his left hand in which he cherished, the liquid rushing past his tongue and dousing it with bliss. He watched as the events in the coven unfold, as he saw new faces he never witnessed before. If there had been one thing unique about the coven, it was its expansion. So many vampires were a part of this movement, so many new faces, that he felt oddly out of touch with the coven as a whole, and at the same time, tonight made him feel more connected.

An eerie wind slipped over the entire pub as the door crept open. Xavier walked in the room with a Black Pinstriped jacket with matching pants and Fedora. Xavier stepped in as his expensive dress shoes clapped against the wooden floor of the Pub. Finally he had made his arrival. A mix of Vampire and Werewolves blood floated around his anatomy as he quietly walked in the room.
My children...all of my beautiful children...
He said as he walked one by one touching there soft smooth skin, running his hands through his lovely ladies' hair. He smiled at them all as his pale blue eyes met Shaden. He knew of this already. He created Aubrey, it was only logical for him to know everyone she changed. It was obvious that the scents that she brought home weren't just friendly visits. However, tonight was a good night. Xavier didn't want to create such a bloody fiasco infront of his darling children. He shot Shaden a sickening glare and he turned his back on him and faced the others.
Thank you all for coming, It is such a wonderful night. Apologies on my behalf for arriving late. I've had some important business to handle amongst other Covens. I can assure all of you that it will not happen again.
A sickening smile crept onto his lips and his glistening white fangs could be shown poking out of his mouth. Xavier walked around the room, everyone seemed to be so happy, so joyful. The bliss whipping around the room brought him to a peaceful sigh and just allowed him to relax..ignoring the fact that the same man that he wanted to strangle in his own intestines was sitting no more than 20 feet from him.

Sevanni couldn't believe this. He was standing in a room filled with his own kind. Xavier had managed to enter after a grueling wait. The only thing he could think of was heading for the back and climbing out a window. He was so hungry now. All he could smell was blood and want in the air. He couldn't tell who was sending the vibe, but it was someone.
Sevanni lowered his head to a short bow, sending his respects to the coven leader. Though he himself was of a higher rank, he still knew his place and showed him the respect he deserved. Unlike others who didn't know their place if they were a chess piece sititng in their rightful square.
"Glad you could make it."
He said upon the approach. He waved a hand for someone to bring him a drink. Maybe he didn't needit, maybe he did. But it was the thought.

Michael heard the door open. A man walked in, well dressed, soft spoken and a sinister yet charming way about him. It had to be Xavier. It was showtime. He stayed quiet and still as he made his way towards them. Strange man, he was feeling the skin of most of the people here.
Michael refused to even breath as the man went past. So this was the tyrant, the monster, the diabolical one. He didn't seem so brutal, in fact he seemed a kind man. He couldn't for the life of him figure it out, but he had to introduce himself.
He walked over to the man "Xavier I presume? My names Michael, interesting group of people you have here. Very interesting" Xavier must know why Michael is here. He wants to join the coven. He pissed many people off already, but he made a point of being respectful in front of Xavier.

Aubrey slinked behind the bar, smiling softly at Xavier. Michael was introducing himself, she wouldn't interrupt. She clinked a few pieces of ice in two glasses and filled them with Jack Daniels. She slid one down toward Xavier and handed one to Senvanni.
She silently looked at everyone else. If they wanted a drink they needed to speak up. She wasn't here to play barmaid. She winked at Jacob. It was uncanny the way he could sneak about.
The frustration had slowly been ebbing it's way out of her, but the moment Xavier walked in and touched her it was gone. Shit. She was afraid that would happen. She watched the interaction carefully. This could go really good for Michael, or else really badly.

Well she knew what drinks they liked, and even though he had intended for someone else to get them, someone other than Aubrey, he was delighted for her time.
"Thank you."
He graced her softly so he wouldn't interrupt the two. He leaned in just so she could hear him.
"Someone like you shouldn't be getting drinks for anyone."
Even though he knew she adored Xavier, it was better left to the help. He hoped she wouldn't mind him saying so, and he was obliged to take the drink.
"Yes, My fine friend here and I have had a couple of hello's haven't we Michael?"
Sevanni chuckled before holding up his glass and taking a sip.
"Oh how I do believe he is something to be interested in."
He chuckled again.
"Go on, tell him your great tale."
Sevanni grinned at Michael. He loved to put people on the spot. Michael needed to be put in his place.
