Ella laughed at October. "Distancing yourself dear? Are you afraid of the big bad wolf?" She watched October carefully, then glanced at Colette. "The two of you are just no fun. I guess I will have to make it more interesting."
Ella rotated her shoulders and brought her slender hands up, cracking her neck. She grinned as shiver ran down her spine. She bowled over and her laughter turned into a low growl. She began to change. She didn't allow herself to fully change, she stood straight. Halfway tuned, halfway still human. It would give her the extra power boost and wouldn't fully immobilize her to being on all fours. She bared her teeth into a sick smile.
Ella lunged back. Running, she slammed her body into Shaden, knocking him back. Adam Vagus was a fool. A bullet wouldn't hurt the vampire. She grabbed Aubrey with half formed claws and pulled her up, crushing her body to the weres. She backed up slowly pulling Aubrey with her. She could smell the human's fear. She laughed, it bubbled out from her muzzle thick and harsh. She nuzzled Aubreys neck, taking in her scent. She would now be able to track the human whenever she wanted. She eyed everyone carefully.
"Who's afraid of the big bad wolf." She sang the soft chorus into the human's ears. Now things would be interesting. She addressed the group. Two of them cared about the human-enough at least to protect her. The other two she was sure wouldn't mind if she snapped her neck. "We are going to play a game. I have the human. If you want her, you will have to fight for her. Fight each other that is. You make one move towards me and I will snap her neck. Shoot at me..." Her eyes moved toward the two males. "And I will snap her neck."
Ella grinned, flashing her muzzled fangs. "I don't care if you want to eat her, screw her, protect her, torture her...It's all the same to me. And, if no one wants to fight for her. I'll take her home with me and make her my pet." She rolled her wet tongue over Aubrey's neck, marking her. It left a line of warm gooey foam. "Either way, I am entertained." She looked hard at October for a moment. "And you, you will pay for drawing my blood this night."

Far off in a pocket of darkness, Xavier stood watching. His piercing blue eyes should have been easily made out behind the blackness that was surrounding him, however it seemed as if the others were too focused in their own affairs. As an Observer, Xavier couldn't help but crack a sly, slick smile. It was foolish as to why Cursed ones would spend time fighting over a Human-Being...It would be like humans fighting to protect their food. Xavier buried his hands into his trench coat pockets and continued to blend in with the dark shadows waiting for the right opportunity to reveal himself.
In a situation like this, The full Black Nail Coven would have dealt with the victims swiftly, and leave any others that got in their way to die, or be dragged off and tortured by 'behemoths'. Time spent on such expendable creatures was useless. Also, the fact that the Vampires already there haven't dealt with the Drooling monster yet was enough to send Xavier into a state of disbelief and shame. Could the answer have been fear? Were the Vampire afraid to be beaten up a bit and deal with their problems?
Tsk..
The quick snicker escaped his lips, probably giving away his cover. Xavier shook his head, how could he be so foolish as to let a simple sound like that slip out? No matter. It was obvious that he would have to walk out of the shadows some time and be placed into the Battlefield. However, Xavier was at a disadvantage. He could have easily had to go up against all of the ones there, the Black Nail Coven was known to have an army of enemies from all races. Despite his obvious discomfort, he would never hide his roots. He brought his hands out of his pockets revealing the sharp glossy black nails that seemed to have even a deeper blackness than night itself. Hopefully all of the ones here were blissfully ignorant to the former works of the Black Nail Coven, hopefully they all thought that it was just another vampire..hopefully.

"Fear does not reside in me, I'm simply not stupid, you already damaged my dress, if I broke a nail I would be absolutely devastated," Her voice was filled with sarcasm. October rolled her eyes, there was nothing the wolf could do to her. There was no leverage, sure the girl in the wolf's hands meant something to the other vampires, but she was no more than a lovely dish to October, though she preferred male humans who put up more of a fight, not much more but they didn't scream shrilly like females did. It hurt her sensitive ears. "Your blood is worth nothing, so there is nothing to pay."
Her eyes drifted to the elder vampire who the wolf had knocked out of the way, she was positive he was fine, probably a little peeved with himself for not protecting his... human. She walked over to him, her heels echoing through the darkness. "I grew up in a time where elders were to be feared and respected by those younger," October was embarrassed by the fact her being out of practice had made her fail to recognize him as her elder. This was her way of telling him she would be quick to respond to his command. With in reason of course, October respected her elders but held her own pride and vanity above all else.
She heard a snicker, but didn't turn instead sniffed the air, another vampire she knew he was younger than her, she could smell it, but she sensed that it wasn't too much younger. "More company," she whispered listening intently for the observer.

"More Company"
The words echoed in between his ears like it was spoken on a microphone. It was obvious his presence was detected with the snicker that he released. Instead of staying in the shadows he decided to embrace the other Vampires there, if he agreed to their motives or not. Xavier's vibrant blue eyes shifted across the parks, looking at everyone present. 2 vampires caught his attention, One that spoke, and One Elder. Also in the nearby area was the Behemoth and a human. Such commotion for something so little. Xavier crossed his arms and continued to walk out of the shadows revealing his entire body to the spectators.
Seems I have been detected. There is no use in hiding anymore..
He said as his eyes glanced into the direction of the Female vampires'. He looked up into the sky, at the moon as it shined down onto the earth allowing Xavier to see things more clear. The Night had much more time so he had nothing to worry about. However, he needed to have some form of entertainment, it's been a while since anything like this went on with Xavier involved. His mind was riddled with possible outcomes of this situation, it was obvious that the Werewolf thought it was above everyone there...foolish. Not only was the Werewolf outnumbered, but severely out powered. Xavier wasn't sure who wanted the human and for what purpose..the only thing that he saw was a meal.

Aubrey's stomach rolled. The stench of the weres matted fur was overwhelming. Worse, she had never seen a half-transformed werewolf. That sight alone unnerved her. She didn't like being some one's entertainment or ultimatum. She gritted her teeth. She had been sent to London to keep her away from danger. As soon as she gets her she embraces it, and now...well, now she was waist high in shit and it looked like it wold get worse before it got better.
At least she was still clutching the knife. The werewolf hadn't noticed that. She looked at the group of vampires and the other werewolf. She didn't want to meet any of their eyes. She knew what they were all thinking. She was just food. That pissed her off. She glared up at the newest male vampire. He was looking at her like she was a meal.
She quickly drew the knife up and pushing away from the werewolf she embedded it into her left eye. Aubrey fell back and rolled on the ground. Her hand brushed against a gun. She didn't know who had dropped one, but she swept it up and regained her footing.
Aubrey pointed the gun at the female werewolf. With her free hand she wiped the slime from her neck. "I am not a God Damn meal, you hear me bitch? And I am no ones fucking leverage." She really wanted to leave. Her chest hurt so badly that it made it almost hard to breath. She could feel that her face was swollen after being back-handed and a slow trickle emerged from a cut. He had hit her good. Husbands all over the south would be proud. She needed a shower, her bed, and someone to curl up with her to make her feel safe.
Aubrey blinked slowly and kept her eyes on the femme were. It didn't matter how any of this ended, everyone could walk away right now, but she would still be terrified for many nights. Sevanni had left her with a promise of finding her again, now this insane wolf had her scent and had marked her. Se couldn't figure out who's side Colette was on, and she didn't know if she would even see Shaden again. To top i all off , there were two more vampires that was getting a good and natural whiff of her blood.
Maybe she could invest in a bodyguard.

October didn't like this scenario, for one there were werewolves. Quite frankly that put a damper on any get together in her mind. Her dress was ruined, she had embarrassed herself in the eyes of a elder. No this wasn't her night. Especially since she had to listen to the annoying voice of the werewolf, the male wasn't particularly active, but the female was a real bitch.
October looked at the half turned female, sickening, her stomach churned with the scent.
She was surprised when she found a smile growing on her face when the human stabbed and rolled away. She actually found laugher ringing from her mouth, a musical sound. How absolutely entertaining!
The night air swept the scents of all the vampires, werewolves and the human around her, with her intense speed she was in front of the human girl in a moment. Not entirely blocking her, but she knew the female wolf would be pissed and probably charge at the human. As much as it really didn't bother October much, the elder vampire obviously wanted the girl protected, besides October didn't mind fighting.
In the back of her mind she was wondering what the human would be like as a vampire, she was brave, a bit stupid for coming here, but brave to say the least. As a vampire she could make a good leader, a excellent fighter. How she would love to turn the girl but such was not in the cards, at least not tonight, more deadly things were plaguing the heavy air of hatred.

Oh, this was no good at all. This rumble was turning out to be... well, a rumble! That sounded like a stupid idea-- had she seriously invested in it? Ransom, cat-and-mouse, sneak attacks-- in these areas, Colette was a master. But straight up brawl? Colette would never be a serious contestant in such a conflict. Much to her utter disdain, Colette began to realize that this was no longer a game. And under those conditions, things were bound to become very dull, very quickly.
And now Aubrey was seriously in danger. On some level, buried deep down in her black little heart, that bothered Colette more than she liked to admit. Way more. In fact, it kind of made her want to rip someone apart in an incredibly violent fashion.
Cautiously, with her hands up, Colette approached Aubrey. She stood beside her, but a little to the front-- both to make sure no one tried to lunge at Aubrey and to remind her that Colette trusted her.
"Okay," Colette said, and the anger radiating from her body was palpable. Her face was for once completely devoid of amusement. Well, until she looked at the half-transformed were', and then she laughed out loud-- mon dieu, how absurdly revolting was THAT?-- but she quickly caught herself. "This is going nowhere fast and I'm approaching my threshold of boredom.
"Here's how I see this little gathering. I came here with Shaden," she pointed to him, "and Aubrey," then to Aubrey. "I came here for a little fight. No weapons. I intended to fight a werewolf, but I like you," she said casually as she pointed to Vagus. Then she gestured violently in the female werewolf's direction. "You, I don't like. In fact, you're the only one I don't like."
She smiled now, a cold clever smile, talking faster as a slight, bloodstained sweat broke out on her forhead. The stillness, she knew, was incredibly transitory. Quickly she glanced in October's direction. "You're a very strong, very experienced hunter. I have no doubt you can find your meal elsewhere. As much as I love fighting my fellow vampire, the mutts are making us look bad. I invite you to take your leave, but if you're still looking for a fight...
"I say we all send this dog to the farm." She pointed to the female werewolf and smiled sweetly.
"All in favor say 'Aye.'"

Bloodshed.
Xavier had been kept away from it for entirely too long. This werewolf seemed to be asking for a viscous death due to the way she was acting and the odds against her. It was a shame really, on how such a beautiful woman could transform into something so mindless and hideous. Xavier pushed a side of his trench coat behind him revealing two .45 Caliber Jet Black handguns that he almost never had to use and walked closer towards the others with his hands folded behind his back. Were these Vampires his friends? He didn't know. What Xavier did know however is that he wanted to take part in the demise of this creature.
'Aye...
Xavier's voice sliced through the still air like a hot blade as his eyes were locked directly on his target. The beast towered over the Vampires however their ominous presence and dark figure created a much bigger opponent for the beast. It would surely be an Interesting battle, but a quick one to say the least. With all of these more experienced vampires, Xavier would be lucky to even see blood let alone taste or cause it. That human was still up for grabs as well, Xavier made sure that she remained in the back of his thoughts because as soon as the battle was over, no matter how quick it took, he would be going after that female.
Xavier's eyes looked among his fellow brethren. All of them belonging to different covens or no coven at all. It was the fact that all of them shared one common goal, that is what caused Xavier to come out of the shadows, Normally in the Black Nail Coven, the Kill on Sight clause was dominant, therefore Xavier did not have many partners outside of the coven itself..This was new to him...

"Aye," Adam said without a moments hesitation. For fifteen years he had been a cop, a Pennsylvania state trooper to be exact, and even as a werewolf he felt it his duty to protect the weak and the innocent. With a single lightning speed motion he aimed at the female werewolf's left knee and send a bullet through it, crippling her. He then was turned his gun on the female corpse she had been fighting, while keeping an eye on the newcomer. Adam had known all along he was their watching them. Although it never seemed like it, he was fully aware of his surroundings at all times. Sure, he could be caught off guard, no one was perfect, but that rarely happened. "This party's over. For Colette's sake and that of the human's I helped you corpses but now it's time to call it a night," Adam said slowly and cautiously walking up to his wounded kinsman. He knew she might turn on him for attacking her. "Kill her, and I'll kill you." He looked directly in Colette's eyes hoping she'd see that he wouldn't harm her. That he too liked her even though he now stood between them and the werewolf.

Shaden was so far past pissed he could hardly listen to Colette. He stood beside her, watching the female mutt with a cold smile. His normal blue eyes black, and he was tense "'Aye" His voice was almost a whisper but it was still filled with hate. Shaden moved, standing beside Aubrey. He wasn't sure if he would even get a chance to fight this werewolf because he's be watching this new male vampire. Over the years, Shaden has become very good at reading people, and so far Shaden didn't like what he saw.
This would be a first for Shaden, protecting a human like this. Not an easy thing to do when she smells so damn good, but he like a challenge, and now he had one.
He looked over at Colette, and then to everyone else, trying to read their faces. Know what they're thinking about all this and if its the same as him. Part of him was glad he came and wanted to stay for the chance of seeing blood. The other half was screaming at him for being foolish. Saying that he could have easily gone out hunting and killed more then half a dozen people in the time he'd been here.

While focused on his target, Xavier could feel the cold, unforgiving eyes of another vampire stab away at his soul. Cautiously, his eyes shifted into the direction of that Vampire, he seemed to be an elder. Xavier cringed at the thought. If this Vampire was an Elder than he would know of all of the doings of the Black Nail Coven and their notorious, sadistic history. If that was the case, The werewolf wouldn't be the only thing that Xavier would be going up against that night. However, despite his worry, he gave back the same callous stare that he had given Xavier..Which was stupid.
The heavy breaths of the creature and the other Vampire's who spoke up to the offer caused Xavier's attention to snap away from the Elder's and he focused back on his opponent, and the human. Xavier slowly began to recall all the blood that he had spilled over the years. The number of lives he had taken was off the charts and his only focus at this point was taking one more...maybe two.

The tables were turning and things were looking bleak for the werewolf. Even with Vagus standing to guard her. Aubrey stepped into Shaden and leaned close."Aye." It came out barely a whisper. Half clutching onto Shaden's waist she let her eyes fall on the new Vampire that was now standing incredibly too close. She got a glimpse of his nails and her eyes widened.
Aubrey had heard of The Black Nail Coven. There had even been a disagreement between the coven she was raised in and them. They had been invited guest, they had thought that she was a gift. It's customary with covens to have a gift for an outside group if they were invited into unfamiliar lands. Jean-Claude had invited The Black Nail Coven in hopes that they were help wage war. They left furious because they had not been allowed to have her.
Aubrey made a few shaking steps back. The color had drained from her face. A member of The BNC was the last person that she would want to be around. They were a cruel and sadistic coven. She was more afraid of him that she would have been in a werewolves den. She pointed her gun at him. "Don't come near me." Her heart began to beat furiously against her chest and her hands began to shake.

Suddenly, Xavier heard the swift movement of a gun and glanced around, only to be staring down that barrel of a pistol. He flared his lips revealing his thick long fangs as a heavy hiss escaped form the pits of his throat. His fingers stiffened as he looked deep into the humans eyes and recalled some sort of familiarity with her face. However, the memories were too ancient to be dusted away and he just focused on what was most important, The gun in his face.
I knew humans were never to be trusted, I should have killed you sooner...
He said circling around her watching her closely. He was enraged, his fangs violently protruded out of his mouth as he glared viscously at Aubrey, waiting for an opening to an attack, and he could care less as to what any one the other Vampire's had to say. In that split second he had returned to the former Black Nail Coven state of mind...

"I am definitely not the one who isn't to be trusted." Her voice was soft and shaky. Her body trembled, but she held tight to the gun with both hands, aiming it at Xavier. She knew the bullet wouldn't hurt him, but she could hit him and sprint for it. It wouldn't stop him, but it would slow him down long enough, especially if it was a kill shot for a human.
Aubrey had 'unofficially' belonged to Circus of the Damned. It was the largest coven in all of New Orleans. The master vampire Jean-Claude, had took her in and protected her. The entire coven had. They didn't care if she was still alive, to them, she was family.
A year before she had moved here, The Black Nail Coven had been invited to Jean-Claudes area. There were underlying wars going on between anything 'unnatural' and a small band of humans who had figured out their secret. The BNC had been invited to help protect the vampires.
The leader of BNC had mistaken Aubrey for Jean's Sangria. A Sangria was a human who volunteered themselves to vampires to feed along with numerous other willing activities. They had a hard ime understanding that she was a member of the coven. Because of Jean's refusal to let them have her, The BNC declared an underlying war with any member of Circus of the Damned. The war would be over when Aubrey was turned over to them, and then an alliance would be made.
Aubrey looked at Xavier, fear coursing throughout her entire body. He was circling her, like a predator hunting his prey. There was no way hid leader would send him here for her, so why was he here? "Don't let him take me." Her voice was high and shrill, the fear obviously carried. "They will make me beg for death long before they actually kill me." Her eyes pleaded with Colette's and then locked on Shadens. "Don't let him touch me."
Someone had told Aubrey that some of the member of BNC could bring horrific pain just by touching them. She had seen the fight between the two coves, and she had seen some of heir slaves. She lived in fear of them. If they took her she would be passed around for more than food. They would torture her, and eventually they would kill her.

Xavier was outraged. Now it was obvious as to what he remembered her from. She was the supposed Sangria of that Circus of the Damned, a clan he remembers from some time ago. They had invited them into the area for protection but once the CotD denied them a gift, which was forbidden among Vampire Law, They abandoned them and waged war with the Coven. It was The Black Nail Coven's highest priority to kill every member of the clan on sight, no hesitations. However, she was human, rules were different for her for some reason...
If you put the gun down now, I promise I wont rip your throat out of your neck. Maybe ill let you a die a much more, clean quicker way. However your only have one option..So save us all the trouble and drop the weapon.
He said inching toward her.
Xavier knew that bullet wouldn't stop him but they would cause him pain, and he hated pain. At the same time, Xavier didn't forget that he too had two weapons of his own and could easily kill the female at that very spot but he decided that it would be more fun this way. His eyes were locked onto her as he tuned out all of the other Vampires in the area. He clenched his fist tightly, deep red blood dripped from his fist due to the nails digging into his palm. A growl erupted from his lips and he spoke again.
Well?
