He almost cracked up at her expression when she saw him half-naked. He couldn't help the muscles he got from his runs with the pack. He certainly didn't want them...
James raised an eyebrow. Teaching a vampire how to hunt. Should be fun. He would just do what Gavin had done. "First, you gotta promise me that you will never touch a human ever again. Even if they are murderers. You have to let the mortals take care of it. They have their own justice system," he looked her straight in the eye as he said this.
He remembered one other thing that he almost forgot to comment on. "Your dog got off the leash?" he said, amusement in his tone. "Is that the best you could come up with?" he added.

Litte folded her arms tighter against her chest and glared at him. She knew that he noticed her somehwat checking him out. Hell..he was a hott guy. Werewolf or not she couldnt keep her eyes off him. She even tried to look away. Look at something! But everything she did look at she would glance back at him. What the hell was wrong with her? She shook her head slightly.
Then she blinked when he said no humans. Ever. She wasnt sure how to react to that. "But....." Then she sighed and grumbled under her breath. This was going to be hard. She would first have to stay away from her creator when he hunted. He strictly hunted humans and then what about Gage? No more late night crime hunting spree's for her. That was for sure. She didnt want James to hunt her down and kill her.
She dropped her arms from her chest in shock when he commented on what she had yelled. She then glared at him and said, "Well, what esle was I going to say? Oh sorry folks...Im chasing a werewolf because im a nasty vampire that he wants to slaughter and kill in the forest? Yeah thats much better." She rolled her eyes.

James was starting to get a kick out of her attitude. She was sarcastic in a funny way. It's ok, I won't be offended if you look at my chest," he assured her. "Stare all you want. I don't like these muscles anyway," he confessed. They just weren't him. He expected the look she gave him when he said no humans. Ever. If she valued her life, she would follow his rules.
"Right. So first thing to remember when you hunt animals is that they can hurt you back. They have defense mechanisms you need to watch out for. We'll start at rabbit and work our way up to bear. I'm going to have to shift into a wolf a few times. Think you can handle seeing me without pants?"

Litte blinked at his comment and her cheeks turned such a bright red she was amazed. She didnt realized she had that much emotion in her to cause such a blush to rise to her pale cheeks. It was so red that she almost looked like she had a bad sunburn on her cheeks. She tried to get rid of it but it stayed. So she was content with just glaring at him.
Then her face paled out and she looked even more like she was dead. Did he just say bear? There was no way she was hunting a bear. "Uh-uh. Now way James. Your crazy. A bear will kill me!" Then she thought for a minute maybe that was the way he planned to kill her. It sure would hurt...
Then her eyes widened and she blushed once again as he commented once more. She swallowed and silently thought to herself that he was going to kill her. But instead of showing how that effected her she glared a death glare at him. "I really do hate you..." She muttered but there was no malice in her tone. So her words were weak in their threat.

James snickered and crossed his arms. "Oh really? If you hate me so much why aren't you gone?" he argued. She could run away. He would give her a head start, make her feel she was safe, and then track her down and kill her. It was that simple. But there were ways for a person to cover their tracks.
He ignored her blush. Her face was beet red. Hey, he couldn't help any of his features. And if she happened to catch a glimpse of certain... parts... he couldn't help that either. It was life or death out here and if he had no pants on him... well then, he wondered if her face could get any brighter.
"You know, you're a lot more stronger than you think you are. I've seen a vamp take down two bears before. You have to focus the energy into the animal blood lust. This is why we are starting small, so you can get acquainted to the taste."

Litte crossed her arms again and glared back at him fiercly. "Im not that stupid. Im not going to run off and then have you kill me later. No...I rather like my neck thank you. And life. Life is certainly a plus." She rolled her eyes at him. Did he really think she was that stupid? If he did he had a lot to learn, and she would be glad to teach him. She wanted to impress him slightly.
She then ground her teeth slightly. She was going to try and hate him for this. She would try but she wasnt sure if she could actually muster that. However, she was scared out of her mind for hunting something that was a lot bigger then her. Sure...she could take down a human ten times her weight and size..but a bear? He must be nuts. She shook her head.
"Well im not that vampire. Im me. And my gut is yelling for me to smack you and tell you to get real." She ran her fingers through her hair again and said, "But fine....Ill cooperate. So rabbit?" She asked him with a raised eyebrow.

James allowed a smile. "Yes, rabbit. This I can do as a human. I'll catch one, and then you get to drink it's blood. Excited?" He bet his pack she wasn't. She also wasn't too thrilled about the bear. He had to teach her something about bears though. Even if she didn't drink it's blood, she would need to learn how to fight one should she come across it.
She probably hated him for this. James put a finger to his lips. A signal to be very quiet. He crouched down and motioned for her to do the same. He whispered as low as he could. Her sensitive hearing would pick it up.
"Hunting rabbits takes some practice. They're fast and can get away easily. Don't bother chasing it once it runs. You have to be extremely quiet. The faintest noise can scare it away. Note their ears are meant to hear such things and their legs, designed, for hopping fast. You crawl to catch one of these. You can find them blended in with the scenery. When you spot one, don't hesitate. Pounce!" James advised.
He scanned the ground. After a little hard looking, he spotted one. He reared back and pounced, not hesitating. Grabbing the creature by the neck, he brought it over to Litte. "Drink," he commanded.

Litte just glared at him more. She want going to soften her gaze. She should have been home by now. She ahd just wanted to play and go home. But did that happen? Noooo. She had to get caught by the werewolf and then dragged her here to be trained apparently. She didnt want to be trained and she was about to say so when he signaled to be quiet. So she sighed and just crouched down like him.
She didnt like the idea of having to sneak through the grass and dirt but she wasnt going to have him snap at her. She was very tempted to sneeze and have all the creatures around the area bolt. But before she could get going with her plan he had caught the fluffy creature. He handed it to her and she looked at the thing and then him. She gave him an 'are you serious ?' look and then glanced at the rabbit once more.
She knew there was no way around it so she sighed and said, "Sorry little thing. Im being forced." She glared at James and then sank her fangs into the rabbits neck. She drank the poor thing dry and then she held the little bunnies body for a bit. She felt bad. This animal had done nothing to warrent a death sentence.

James honestly didn't care that Litte was glaring her cute little face off. She was angry with him. She didn't want to be here. She thought he was incredibly hot. She didn't want to drink animal blood. James got it! Oh, most of all, she didn't want to hunt a bear.
James had a feeling he ruined a little scheme of her's when he shushed her. The sarcasm could wait. As he watched her face twist in disgust when she gave him that "look" when he held the rabbit out to her, he wondered; will she actually get off the human blood? She was recently turned, it couldn't be that hard, it wasn't too late... He was doing the right thing.
He was pleased when she obeyed him. "So you're telling me that you're sorry for a rabbit but not a human-being?" James asked. This he didn't get. Why wouldn't she say sorry to a human?

Litte had sat down on the floor and so she looked up at him. She sighed and then realized he didnt understand her reasoning. Maybe she could convince him she was right. She only hunted the human beings that deserved to die. What part of that did he not get? She shook her head slightly and pet the little rabbits ears with a gentle touch.
"I told you. I only kill the humans that deserve to die. Does a human ever say sorry to its victims when they murder one another? Or stab, or mug, or rob another. No. So why should I take sympathy in them?" Her eyes were so intent on this that none of the fear or anger was there. She believed in what she did. "Are you telling me that you want a human who killed another human in cold blood to stay alive? The mortal police cant figure these cases out."
She sighed and looked away though. She closed her eyes and hummed silently. She had to vent a little and humming was the closest thing she had to actual music notes. She was almost positive he wouldnt understand. But she had explained as well as she could and if he failed to see that..he was blind to what was right. That was her opinion and it wasnt changing.

He wasn't happy with her answer. James sat beside the vampire and placed a hand on her shoulder. She just didn't get it. Killing is wrong. It didn't matter who deserved it. "Litte, it doesn't matter what kind of person they are. Any thing that kills another human is a murderer. You have no right to step into the world of the livings affairs. It's not right for them to walk, I know, but you'll be just like them if you keep doing this. You have to give the humans some time. Eventually everything will be solved," James said gently.
She was wrong. He truly believed that. No one deserved to die. What was the point of it all? If someone was dead how would he be able to just sit and think about everything they've actually done. It would be more affective if someone remained living.

Litte looked at him as he placed a hand on her shoulder. She blinked surprised that it was so gentle and not rough and cruel. She had been expecting him to not even treat her like a human being. More like an it actually. So that gentle touch made her question him all over again. Was there a heart in that body of his? Could he be kind to somthing he obviously hated with his whole being? Those were the questions racing through her mind.
She was also just as amazed that he used her name and didnt call her vampire. Or just addressed her. It was a first and she wondered how hard it was for him to spit out her name in a sentence. She would watch him more carefully now. She was so very curious and the saying curiosity killed the cat came to mind. But she smirked inwardly. Most people didnt know the last part of th saying. But satisfaction brought him back....
"I guess I can see your side of things." She muttered. She could somewhat see his point. But she still felt like they didnt deserve to live and if she could get rid of them..then why not? But she didnt bring that up and just looked at the sky. The sky that looked a little lighter. Her eyes widened and she wimpered slightly. She could see the horizon turning lighter. The sun was coming up. She was going to die after all. There was no way she could make it somewhere safe in time.

James looked up quickly at Litte's little whimper. The sun. Oh god he hadn't anticipated this. He had completely lost track of time! How stupid could he be? Now she probably thought this was all on purpose! James was saddened that his lessons would have to wait a day. But right now, he had to find shelter for the vampire and fast.
Weird. He was going to save a vampire. "Save" and "vampire" were two words that he never thought he'd let himself say or think. They had to run and run fast. James groaned when he realized what he had to do.
"I sure hope you trust me enough, Litte. The sun's rising and rising faster than I'd imagined. I promise, I didn't plan on this. I told you I wouldn't kill you and I keep my word. I'm not finished with you yet. You're going to have to ride on my back. I run a lot faster than you. Do you agree with this?"

Litte's eyes were on the horizon still and she swallowed. Why had she followed him here. Him killing her wouldnt have been as painful as the sun. But no, she had to trust him an follow him here. She was going to die in a very painful way and she didnt want to die. She really didnt. It wasnt fair. Just because she was a vampire she had to die? Was that it? Her species had to die?
But she glanced at him and saw he was having his own problems. Was it problems? Or was he figuring out how to keep her from trying to save herself? She had no clue what was going through his mind but whatever it was he either was very please, confused, or hated it. She didnt understand why he would hate it..but then again he had proved to be strange already.
Then she blinked at his words. Ride on his back? Was he serious. But then again that meant he wanted to save her. Save a vampire. She knew that wasnt easy for him to pull off and she better not waste his generosity. She may not get it again. So she nodded and said, "All right...I trust you enough to do that. Even if you planned to kill me I couldnt do anything. Im trapped James. I have no choice."

James nodded. There was no time to waste at all. He turned around and shifted into a wolf for the second time today. Again, he unbuttoned and pulled down his jeans at the last second. When it was complete, he turned around to Litte and gave her a reassuring smile. He ran with people on his back before, and he had a lot of fur to grab on to.
James trotted over to Litte, pants in mouth, and invited her to climb on with a small "woof". He would make it. He had to make it. This was the first time he was training a vampire and he wanted to complete his mission. Litte was a sort of guinea pig for him.
