James took a slow stroll though Central Park; memory lane. A half moon grinned at him in the sky, but he didn't return it. It was foggy tonight. Fog made it difficult for him to smell. He hadn't been down here in a while.
Walking into a bench and banging his knee against it, James gave a start. Bloody fog, he cursed to himself. He examined the rusting metal bench. This was it. This was the one the 18 year old was looking for. He wondered what he looked like to Gavin that night as he slept on this very bench.
This was the spot James spent the night after he had run away from his home. The spot Gavin first saw the beaten up fourteen year old. After he got home the next morning, his whole life changed. Gavin saved him from the vampire. He turned James into a wolf so he would have a home with his pack. James took a seat on the cold metal.
A flashback played through his dim memory of that day: A fourteen year old boy, a damaged body, and Central Park. He allowed the memory to come to him.
James ran harder and faster, away from his home, as fast as his legs could carry the tired boy. Artemis and Claudius. I left them there. With him and her. My twin sister and my little brother. How could I do such a thing? I've betrayed the only two people I care about. I just had to get out of there...
James had to stop running, he could no longer. His heart nearly beat out of his chest, blood pumping from the adrenaline and fear of what he could do if he caught him. He spotted a bench... just a few more feet! Collapsing onto the hard surface, he panted, trying to force himself to relax.
A rustling near him. James bolted into an upright position and craned his neck to find a pair of eyes disappearing into a bush. Had he imagined it? Was someone watching him? Impossible. The last thought he had before he fell into an exhausted sleep was, I've betrayed them.
James came out of the flashback and found he was lying on the cool bench, his cheek pressed against the seat just like he had slept on it that night. He pushed himself up with his arms, and just sat there. How many years has it been now? Three? Four? All he wanted was his sister and brother. That monster. That vampire. James cringed. She'd taken everything away from him. He wanted vengeance.
James removed his shirt, sneakers, and socks. He wanted to run away from this place, into the forest. He wanted to be a wolf and forget all of this and give into the wild animal in him. He was on a very thin strand of sanity. The thinnest he'd ever felt. Maybe he shouldn't have come here...
He began the transformation, his back arched and silver fur began sprouting from his torso. Something made him stop though, forcing the fur to retreat back into his flesh, making his back straight again. A scent, the faintest one, too. It smelled almost like... vampire.
James growled. This wasn't the time...

Litte was on a park bench a little ways off from where he was. She was laying down on her back and looking up at the stars and moon shining in the sky. It was a beautiful sight but it didnt touch her very much. She didnt know if anything ever would again.
She held her guitar against her chest and just strummed keys gently. She wasnt actually playing anything. She hadnt felt inspired like she had hoped. She would always come here to write songs because something always inspired her. Tonight was a blank and it made her grind her teeth in frustration.
With a heavy sigh she sat up and noticed that the park had filled with fog. Even with her good vision she could barely see. She sighed once more and stood all the way up. She put the guitars strap around her neck and then turned it so it was laying against her back. Then she walked off into the fog.
But she could already sense she was going to have trouble finding her way out. It was hard for her to even see a few feet in front of her let alone far ahead for where she had to turn. She was debating on if she should just wait out the fog and leave in the morning when that scent hit her.
She growled slightly as she recognized it as a werewolf. She scanned the area and just stopped in her tracks. She didnt want to run into the wolf and get taken by surprise. Maybe the fog would confuse him as much as her. But she stayed on alert. She didnt need this at the moment.

James remained still, there was no way to tell where the vampire was. He would have to find it first or he or she would have the jump on him. Silently, James began walking. He was careful where he stepped, alert and ready to react at any moment. He continued forward. He did have a close call, a twig, that if snapped, would have his position surrendered.
Finally, after walking though the dense humid air for a good twenty paces, he saw the silhouette directly in front of him. It was female, that was for sure, her back was turned. James got as close as he dared to. He didn't want the vampire knowing where he was. James crouched, reared back, and sprung forward, tackling the vamp and pinning her to the ground.
"I wasn't expecting this tonight, but my plans can always be altered. I'm pretty flexible. Now you're going to stay quiet and allow me to bring you to the nearest furnace. This doesn't have to be difficult," he whispered low into her ear.

Litte scanned the area. She was a little on edge. She didnt know where the werewolf was and she wanted to know badly. She could be jumped at any point at all and then she would be in trouble. She didnt need this at the moment and she hoped that a fight could be avoided. And so she stayed still and didnt move. Which now she wished she had as at the last minute she smelt him.
She hissed through her clenched teeth as she was knocked to the ground. The back of her guitar bit into her back and she growled low in her throat. She glared at the werewolf on top of her and she squirmed to try and get free. She was able to lift them a little bit. But there really was no hope. He was a lot bigger then her and so stronger. She cursed her small size.
"Get off me you filthy dog!!" She yelled at him. She was disgusted by him and wanted him off of her. His smell disturbed her and she now flailed to try and get away. She wouldnt go quietly. That was for sure. She was thinking she may just scream for help. There had to be someone around. Right? All she knew was that she wasnt going to die tonight. No way..no how.

James pressed himself against the vampire, putting all his weight on her now. It was a squirmer. He only just noticed the guitar strapped to her back. He sure hoped it was uncomfortable for the thing. James snarled and bared his teeth.
"I know I don't smell any worse than you. You think I want to touch you?" he countered. James sniffed a little harder, breathing in her clothes and then pressing his nose against her cold collarbone to take in it's scent. If it got away, he wouldn't be very far, especially in a fog like this. The "girl" looked about 16, but how old was it really? James could almost tell how old a vampire really was by it's scent. Older vampires smelled worse, more dead, if that was possible.
"Huh, you don't smell a day over 16, bloodsucker. I mean that in your vampire years. Were you recently turned? Answer me!" he shook her. He had to know. Had to know if she used to be an innocent girl and then her life was taken by one of those monsters by force. What if she was one of those animal eaters? This would change things...

Litte growled slightly as he pressed himself more against her. She bit back a scream as the guitar made things even worse. But she squirmed a little more and she was able to slip the strap off and shove the guitar away from her. She then fell flat against the sidewalk and was being crushed by his weight.
She rolled her eyes at his smell comment. She thought he smelt pretty bad himself. But she was in enough trouble at the moment and she didnt need to push it. However she struggled harder when he sniffed her collar bone. What the hell was he doing? She didnt like it and she just wanted to get away. But she doubted she would get far before he tracked her down.
He then started to shake her and asked her questions. She had to collect her thoughts and then she yelled into his face, "Thats because I am 16!!" She growled again and continued to struggle. She hoped her small size might enable her to slip out of his grip.

(OOC: Sorry it's short!)
James held her arms down above her head, restraining them with his rough and calloused hands. He noticed the guitar was no longer under her. In one swift movement, he got his knees on her stomach, digging them in. There would be no comfort for this thing if he could help it.
It screamed, sort of hysterically, its response. So it was a new vampire... "Then tell me, what do you hunt! Your answer will be life or death for you," he demanded. If it turned out to be an animal eater, then maybe he could spare it for just a little while. If he ever found out in the future that she even touched a hair on a human, then it would be straight into the sun.

((Its fine lol))
Litte grunted as the air was pushed out of her lungs. He was very heavy and his knees digging into her stomach was not comfortable. She tried struggling still and of course she wasnt getting anywhere. Not that having her hands pinned above her head was very much helpful. She could barely move. She was ready to give up.
She heard his question and glared at him. "Does it even matter? No matter what I say you will kill me. So whats the point." She told him. Her voice was calm and monotone. She stopped struggling as the hope she had of escape slowly slipped away. She knew now...there was no hope. She was dead either way. "Just kill me already." She told him.
She sighed and closed her eyes. She figured he wouldnt hesitate to kill her. The rage was very evident in his eyes and nothing would stop him from killing. She could smell blood on him. Blood from her own kind. He had killed many before her. So what would her life make a difference?

James sighed. He closed his eyes and thought. If he got off it, it would run away for sure. But if he stayed in the position he was in, then it would be too scared to answer any of his questions. He would have to bring it somewhere then, ensure the vamp that it would be safe from him for the moment. He had an idea.
"I'm going to blindfold you and bring you to an old shack near here. I'm warning you, if you try to escape I will kill you. Even though the sun's not shining I have other ways..." he warned. James got off of it. He pulled the vamp to it's feet, but didn't let go of it's arms. Quickly, he ripped off a section of his navy blue t-shirt. He blindfolded the vamp and tied her wrists together.
"You will walk in front of me," he said low in the vamp's ear. James began guiding the vamp to his destination.

Litte was a little surprised that he actually didnt kill her on the spot. She had given him permission to kill her and he wasnt doing that. It shocked her so much that she didnt know what to say. He was letting her survive for this much longer but her mind was already thinking. What was he planning. Sure, taking her to a shack but what did he plan to do to her there.
She could think of a few things but all involved torture and questioning. She didnt want to die but she saw no way out of this without death being in the equation for her. She sighed at his offer and said, "You really think Im that stupid? I know you can kill me in other ways." She rolled her eyes and didnt struggle.
The blindfold was put over her eyes and she sighed once more. If she looked down she could only see her feet. But she still had her sense of smell. She could possibly smell where he was taking her. She bit back a growl however when he tied her hands. If she tripped she was screwed. She would fall flat on her face, and to make things worse..she had to walk in front. But she stayed silent and just followed where he led her.

James was pleased with the vampire's behavior. It's cooperating! As much as he would love just getting rid of this vampire now, he had to find out a few more things first. Only recently had he discovered that some vampires don't drink human blood, but animal blood. These vampires he could spare. Of course, he always checked up on them.
James pushed the vampire, guiding it left and right. He figured the vamp could use it's sense of smell, but he had to try anyway. He figured shoving a piece of fabric up it's nose was a little extreme. Then again, he didn't really care. The tiny shack wasn't far at all. It was actually just outside the park.
James sacrificed a hand to open the door to the one-floored white home. He shoved the vamp in before him and then shut the door. Immediately the smell of mildew flooded his senses. It really wasn't anything special, just a rotting room complete with yellow wallpaper and wood flooring. James pushed the vampire to sit down and took off the blindfold. He kept it's hands tied, though.
"So tell me, vampire. What is it that you hunt?" he wanted to waste no time.

Litte felt so disoriented as he pushed her left and right. She figured that was to keep her from figuring out where she was. Not that it would help. She could smell that they were only a little ways out of the park. And she could hear the children playing around the benches in the park. So he wasnt taking her far.
She suddenly felt a shove on her back and she could smell the mildew. She wrinkled her nose and tried not to gag. He wasnt going to make things comfortable. She was also ticked off. She had left her guitar there because she had no choice. She was pretty sure it would be gone when she got back...if she got back. She would need to buy a new one.
When he pulled off the blindfold she got a good look at the werewolf who had taken her hostage. She sighed as he pushed her into a chair and kept her hands bound. Not that her hands were the most danger part of her. And as she had been expecting..he questioned her. She just rolled her eyes and said, "One...You should be able to tell by smell. Dont you wolves have good smell as well? Two, Even if I tell you Ill just end up dead."

James scowled down at the vampire. It was being a smart mouth. This only angered him. "I can smell human blood on you, yes, bloodsucker. However I've been wrong before. Just answer the question!" he barked.
James stood above the vamp. He came to be about 5'3. He wasn't too tall and not very threatening. He was only an 18 year old kid. He found the vamp much scarier. They were unpredictable. He studied the vamp's features. The used-to-be girl was pretty. Her hair wasn't short, but it also wasn't long. There were blonde highlights in her bangs. She was petite and had gentle features. Too bad she was dead and all that remained was a monster. A thing.

Litte sighed as he growled at her. He wasnt going to give up was he? And since she was going to die anyway...she figured she might as well just pull the plug on her life. He didnt seem like the type to spare her just because of what she was. She didnt see the harm in being a vampire. Didnt his kind attack human beings as well? Weren't their sins just as bad as the vampires?
But she didnt bring that up to him. That would probably just warrent her a slap. The werewolves never stopped and smelt the roses or to see the other side of the playground. What it was like to be a vampire. She didnt understand that what one vampire did marked all the species. It never was fair. But who ever said life was fair? She knew first hand it wasnt.
She looked once more at the werewolf in front of her. He didnt seem much taller then her and he seemed only a few years older. She sighed and looked at the ground. "Never doubt your nose. I hunt people. Now go ahead and kill me. End this fricken torture."

James narrowed his eyes. He should really kill it. It was his sworn duty. It hunted people, it killed people... people like his dad and siblings. James gave the vamp a vicious look before he began his pacing, thinking of what he should do.
Option one was wait until sunrise with the vamp, toss it out into it and be done with it. Option two was set the place on fire, option three was take its head off and then set the place on fire, oh so many he could choose from. He looked back at the vampire.
His gaze almost softened. It was a young vampire. Recently turned. What if it didn't know any better? Maybe he wouldn't have to kill it, maybe teach it. If it didn't work out he could always maul it later. His mind was made up.
James knelt behind the vamp to untie it's hands. "Ever taste animal blood before? Well you're going to love it," he growled.
