The light breeze ruffled the dark locks that covered the head of the female's head. The full velvets pulled into the normal state. The purple pools locked on the ground before her feet. The night stars bright along with the moonlight guiding the path. Yet, who needs light when your eyes are made for the darkness? Why even see when your ears and touch could be your eyes? Many questions unanswered as they have been avoided by many generations.
Finally she sat down on a bench. Wrapping her hand around a rose. It turning black and welting in her hand. Then the hand closed around the vine and blood flowed from her hand. Out of the blood of the female vampire, grew a purple rose. It grew and overpowered the rosebush. Finally they welted and turned into purple roses.
The hushed voices were set around the garden. Finally a whimper and the sound of a vampire enjoying it's kill. The smell drifted to her nose and she ignored it. No thirst ran through her veins. Blood was flowing from kills long ago. The book writer and his maid. Many others that she could name. Name them all, all written in a book.
Finally the purple pools drifted toward the sky. Many bright stars twinkling and shining bright. Never to be dark unless in death. Even in death they still glowed. Taking everything with them that gets too close. Slightly like feeding off humans.
If you drink the last drop, then they take you with them. It is the curse of vampires to humans. Almost like an agreement. If the vampire is so greedy that they shall drink the last drop then the vampire shall go with it's food.
A silent whisper of loneliness escaped her full velvets as she wrapped a purple rose with her hand. it grew and she felt it feed off her. Pain filled her hand as she let go and it became stronger. "Everything becomes stronger when feeding off me."

Carlisle threw the body into the bushes, then stood up and licked his lips. He felt refreshed... Maybe that's all I really needed, he thought. Lately he'd been feeling like he was going to kill everyone he saw. His only escape from those murderous feelings was Isabel, but now she was visiting an old friend oin Paris.
He strolled along the empty pathways, examining the flowers, but not fully appreciating their beauty. He felt better now, but before it was like all his thinking had been slow and inprecise. Normally he was quick-witted and precise, but for some reason he had been so distracted by something else. Deep down he knew why he was acting this way, but he didn't want to admit it to anyone exactly why.
It was Isabel, haunting his every thought. Notexactly bad, but he had never felt this way beofre. In the past thousand years he had had many lovers, but none of them had the same effect on him as Isabel.
He tried to think of other things, and succeeded for a moment. A strange woman sat on a bench nearby, surrounding by violet pools that looked like roses. Curious, he walked over to take a look...

The light anger filtered up her spine. Always getting this way when anouther damned one steps close. The purple pools turning dark then lighter as she got her anger under control. The skin was cold and was not in need of light. The dark locks tumbled down to a few inches below her blades. The full velvets not needing to be painted. The purple pools light and airy.
She looked up and saw the damned one. It was a male and she stood up slowly. The pants fitting nicely upon her slim bodice. The purple pools lighter then the plum colored roses around herself. She smiled light then turned to look at the roses she had created. She sighed and ran her hand over them again. This time they disapeared into the ground.
She turned to look at the male once again. The look he held let her understand that he had just feed. "Feeding finally calm your soul?" A small laugh escaped her velvets. Vampire's don't have souls. They are damned to have none.

"Perhaps." He studied the strange woman's face. She had a peculiar expression, and she didn't look particularly friendly. He decided to get out of their as soon as politeness would allow him to.
"But do we have a soul? Most say we don't.... yet how can one love with no soul?" He had often wondered that very thing very often in the past few months, about Isabel.
Everyone he had ever met had told him that vampires had no soul, and that he wasted his time on emotions and beauty. Without a soul, ho could he appreciate these things? But he did, so some part of his ancient human soul had to exist somewhere, no matter how weak and insignificant.

Feeling unwanted she raised an eyebrow up slightly. The purples' lighten even more. The full velvets placed in a calm expression. The words he spoke made her think. The age always got in the way. Knowing too much in such a short time. Finally she looked at him after deep in thought.
"We might have a small one. Our consious is still with us. It is still very mortal. So that is why we find more beauty then our mortal selves. So that we can make up for the damned thing we have become. We know what beauty is for we are the creation of beauty. Perfect in the eyes of humans."
Elzira said in a slight whisper. Thinking about it before she spoke outloud. It was the truth to her. She looked down at her feet then back at him. "That is what my old age has brought up for that question. Any input?"

"Well, I do have a few questions. First of all, what is your name? And seecond, how old are you?"
The woman struck him as a little strange, and he didn't intend to hang around talking to her all night. He had better things to do with his time than talk to strange woman mumbling nonsense about souls and making viiolet roses...

Elzira sighed and sat down on the bench. She then looked at him and listened to him talk. She got the hit and watched him with courious pools.
"My name is Elzira Botticelli. I was born in the 1500's. Why don't you do the math."
She smirked lightly and crosed her arms across her chest. "What is your name and age?"

"Carlisle Truax. I just had my 1041st birthday a few weeks ago. Although I can't be exactly sure if that is my exact age, becuase calendars in the Middle Ages were not as reliable as ours now." I'll finish this later- at my cuz's house
