Afforded months of peace, the better to rebuild and reconnect in the aftermath of the
events that sought to destroy lives and liberties, to forget warnings that had arrived
from the stars and grow comfortable, how prepared would you be for that moment
when new evil rises. An evil more uncompromising than anything before, methodical,
adamant on bringing about mutanthood's extinction in order to ensure humanity's
chance at survival. In a time more precarious than anything they have faced before,
