In the world of wolves, there were many that were world renowned as top Alpha's. It did not matter what country you were in, people knew of four Alpha's when their names were mentioned. Katra Macguire, Inora Theos, Sombra Delgadillo and Josef Ibn-Abad. Katra, the European, was based in France. She held a zero tolerance policy toward all walking leaches, much like Sombra held. Then there was Inora, a wolf Casimir heard about, yet he never actually met. Whether she was truly an Alphess or not, he didn't know nor did he want too. Then there was the other two. Sombra and Josef. These two seemed to hold some on again off again romance that would even make even Fabio's romancing head spin dizzy.
Goetschl himself was known but only for reasons he wished to forget. From human to wolf, his change had not been as graceful as other peoples and as a result, his acceptance into the wolf community as a whole was not tolerated nor very much appreciated. He was a were, no doubt about it, but at the same time, he was a Government man and it was the Government that brought him out here on this day.
Josef had been running back and forth between New York and Los Angeles. Being the Alpha of New York yet having an apparent Mate in Los Angeles must have been a struggle for the man. It would have been for Casimir. Stress would have undoubtedly become a factor and it was that stress that might have triggered one of the most gruesome murders that Casimir had ever come across.
Less than a week ago, Goetschl had been called to the scene of a murdered federal agent in New York. The body had been horribly mauled and even the Kevlar vest that the agent wore had been no match for pure animal muscle, teeth and claw. The scent, the only scent, that Casimir had managed to pick up was that of Josef. The entire crime scene in central park smelled of him and his pack. Sure enough, when Casimir went looking for Josef and his pack, not a single person could be found. Enda, Saya, and Sarah had all run off, as if disappearing yet again from the world.
Josef himself had been easier to track. Olivia Aisling, Goetschl's Vampiric liaison, had tracked the Alpha back to Los Angeles and more specifically Sombra Delgadillo's body shop. The Vampress did not need to follow him any place else; the Alpha of New York seemed to spend the majority of his time in or around the building and this was going to be where Goetschl would probably find him.
Not wanting to spark a war, Casimir knew that Olivia could not interfere and instead ordered her back to their hotel while he apprehended the Alpha; if only for questioning. Sombra's pack, and quite possibly any other wolves in the area, would soon learn of Casimir's arrival. If he were to have any shot of getting to Josef before reinforcements arrived, he would need to act now.
With a swift kick of his boot, the Agent knocked the back door open. The main room was dark, the windows covered with tarp, the lights shut off, and the first and most powerful smell that met him was a mix of motor oil and gasoline. Yeah. It was a mechanics shop alright but amongst all of it was the faint scent of wolves. Numerous had been around this part and with each whiff of air through his nostrils, Casimir removed any that he did not recognize until only one remained, Josef.
Slowly the agent stepped in, unholstering his Sig Sauer P226 and raising the weapon; "Josef, you know why I'm here. So why don't you stop being Sombra's plaything and come out so we can discuss what happened in New York."

There was no need to shift, not for Casimir. Were's were stronger in their wolf forms, faster, more agile, quicker with reflexes and had Casimir been any other wolf, Josef might had made the effort to shift. Instead, Ibn-Abad knew he could handle Goetschl. The irritating twat had been tailing him since New York City and it did not help matters that the only reason Casimir found him was by means of a Vampire. It showed just how weak the Agent was.
Taking a large tire iron, Josef used the darkness to his advantage. He could see Casimir clearly as he stepped foot inside the building. It would be a minute or so before his eyes adjusted and with the sounds of the passing cars, ocean air and general noise coming into the building, the footsteps of Josef would not be heard.
When he saw the weapon, even Josef had to pause. A gun versus a tire iron was not much of a fight. How was Josef suppose to react? He could charge from the side, smash his tire iron into Casimirs hand, dislodging the weapon. He could shift and attack the man from the front, but that would risk Goetschl getting a lucky shot in. Josef's been shot once and Sombra kicked his ass for it and then again for taking so long to get the last bullet out of his body.
Time was running out and fast. Within seconds, Casimir would have full vision adjustment and then it would in the Agents advantage. The time was now to decide and decide Josef did. With a sudden rush forth, Josef smashed the tire iron into Goetschls wrist. The loud pop and crunch that occured sounded much like popcorn being stepped on by large feet on a tile floor. Casimir let out a large, scream and he lurched forward. The gun itself fell to the shop floor and before Cas could make a run for it, Ibn-Abad smacked him in the chest with the iron, sending him back outside the buildings back door.
Dropping the tire iron, Ibn-Abad grabbed Goetschl by the ankle and pulled him back into the building. Sticking his head back out the door, he ensure no one witnessed any sort of commotion before reclosing the door and picking up the pistol.
"The safety's off?" Josef said with surprise as he picked up the gun. "You were actually going to shoot me?" His jaw clenched in outright rage as he lefted Casimir by the back of his shift collar and flung him against the nearest car.
The Agents body hit it with a thud but the man managed to keep his feet. Even so, as Casimir looked up to address Josef, Ibn-Abad had the barrel of the pistol pointed right over his left eye. "You have a lot of nerve coming here like this? What's wrong? You finally hit puberty and think you are the big bad wolf now? You think that you, your little Vampire friend and a pistol are going to scare any sensible Alpha you ever encounter? Wrong."
