[atrb=width,450,true][atrb=border,0,false][cs=0][bg=CDC9C9] Pacing back and forth. Always pacing. Time was wearing thin and there were only so many roads he could travel down before he was confronted. This one would take a piece of the cake, but it didn't lick all of the good frosting off just yet.
"They should be here by now." Damien huffed out as he approached the window that overlooked the grounds. How many nights had his father stood before this window to view what was to come about the wee hours of the morning. How he and his flock had occupied the very grounds on which he stood.
Damien was no fool. He knew that this was all a test to see if he could in fact reign true in his heir status. All Damien wanted was to bring his father down without any remorse or regret. That was the easy part. Taking him out was the hard part.
He was waiting on those two twins to make it back with his ex. Helena. How she had gotten away, and it was with his father's help that she had escaped him. Even this time it had been his fault. Had Helena stayed in New York, right where she was, it would be easier to get a hold of her.
Since the ocean is international territory, Damien knew that this would be the best time to nab her. Damien knew she wouldn't be with Shaden. He knew that she would more than likely be alone, and it was all better for Kane and Abel to kidnap her, bring her to New York, and collect their bounty.
He needed more. More than his ex back to get information. The best source he could go to hated the shit out of his father, but he had never met his step mother before, and from what he heard, she was nothing but cruel towards his father. Too bad his mother wasn't around. She would have made a great ally and accomplice.
It was then when the double doors to the great room opened did Damien turn around. They must have made it on the grounds while he was pacing toward the back of the room. Too late to see them approach the house.
"Well it's about time. What took you so damn long?"
Damien's outburst of impatience made the room throb. There was only a certain amount of time he had before the window of opportunity closed. This had to be done quick.

[atrb=width,375,true][atrb=border,0,false][cs=0][bg=000000] "Well it's about time. What took you so damn long?" Two grins were more like snarls. Moving closer and closer into the room with the girl following behind as she was confined to a post from which she could not escape. Vampires and their strength. Seeing as how they themselves were vampires, they knew the one way that escape was not an option.
"Blame your driver mate." Abel began. He always did have a smart lip and was always the first one to let it loose from his mouth. He was reckless, and he didn't give two shits.
"He was a bit slow. But we're here now." Kane finished with a smack of his hands. Ready for their bounty of course. No amount of money could compare to the bounty that they were to be given. Freedom away from this assholes father. Free to go wherever they so chose. Abel knew where he was going. He had a lead to get on, but not before he went to track someone else down. Someone he simply felt he couldn't be without.
Abel turned to look at Helena as she stood planked with no way out. Gagged and all with a look of fear on her face. "Pity you have a thing for this one. Had a feeling she could be quite entertaining." Meaning he would have loved to eat her from the inside out. Taste every inch of her blood and hear her scream for days, maybe, and just maybe if he was generous, a couple of weeks. Oh that would have been very nice.
"You'll have to excuse my brother. He's like a five year old in a candy shop when it comes to torture, imprisoning someone and of course blood. He's fine I assure you." Kane had to keep some sort of peace for now. He knew how Sevanni was, but some said that his son was worse.

[atrb=width,300,true][atrb=border,0,false][cs=0][bg=7d7b7e] She was more pissed off than anything. Scared for her life? Not really. If they had wanted to kill her they would have done so already. She knew where she was. She was back in the city, she was close to her ex, and these two pricks were going against their keeper.
There really was no cause for a rescue mission. She didn't need to be rescued. Not just yet anyway. What she needed was to have a face to face, spit in it even, and just let it be known she was over it, and tired of the bullshit.
The hall was long. She rememered the place from before, but it hadn't belonged to Damien. It belonged to Sevanni. It was the same place she had met Marcus the first vanishing, and it was the last place she had said goodbye to someone she cared about.
"Well it's about time. What took you so damn long?" Then she heard his voice and something deep inside of her went a little wrong. Like someone who was on the verge of going insane with a rampid rage.
She kept quiet. Said nothing. She had so much to say but it was making her more and more nervous to be in the same room and hear his voice. She hated his guts after everything that happened.
"What the hell possessed you to have me kidnapped at a special function?!" She shouted out after forcing herself forward with a pointing finger. She was hurt. How could she not be with two neanderthals messing with her mind and body?
"You have some ruddy nerve." She started on. "Weren't you told to keep distance?" She was right in asking. Sevanni told Damien not to even whisper her name ever again, and here he was, taking Helena by force.
