A howl ripped through the skies as Kia jumped from branch to branch in her were form. The taut muscles in her shoulders and thighs seemed to sing out their pleasure as she lunged through the brushes nearby. It was a crescent moon out tonight, but she felt like running through the woods just outside of Sydney before hitting the city for the nightlife.
As she reached the edge of the wood, Kokia transformed once more and stood naked while digging around for her clothing she'd left nearby. Slipping on the bright red tube top that barely covered her belly, Kokia pulled on her panties and black flare jeans; lacing up her combat boots comfortably.
Kia stretched her arms high above her, grabbed her jacket and pulled out her fingerless leather gloves, shoving them onto her hands. "Now for a night out on the town!" she stated happily before crouching down on her haunches like a track meet runner and sprinting clear across the hill to reach the city of Sydney; the white sails brilliant at the docks nearby.
Kokia stopped short as she entered the city, the smells of the grilled fish reaching her ever keen nose. She couldn't stop her mouth from watering and she wiped the back of her wrist across the corner of her mouth before making her way toward the stand where the fish's lovely scent was coming from. Plopping down onto the stool at the cooking stand, Kia placed some bills on the table and wiggled her eyes mischievously at the guy cooking.
"Smells amazing, that it does! I'd like that grilled fish, along with a side of roasted oysters and a bottle of beer, please." she said, eying the oyster shells on the grill just beside the fish. [/size][/blockquote]

Ah, Australia? Don’t ask why on Earth Alucard was in this weird place. The night was freaken hot over here. It was like any other night that Alucard was here. The city was vary nice. Semi-friendly people here and there. The place was pretty good. He looked back at to see if Lissa was behind him. And she was like always. He smiled at her and turn back forward.
He sniffed the air a little bit. It smelled like vary delicious fish and a werewolf. Yes he did smell the humanoid wolf creature. He walked over to the fish stand. “Oder any thing you want.” He told Lissa and gave her four Australia tens. He looked at the young werewolf. He inhaled the air once again. He recognized the sent. “It has been a vary long time my dear. How have you been. How has Faina been?” He asked the were.

Like her lupine senses allowed her to have a one-track mind, the smell and taste of food was all she could allow herself to concentrate on at the moment. The sweet taste of the fish as its spices melted in her mouth while slurping down shell after shell of roasted oyster. This would be her third bottle of beer and her fourth helping of seafood.
Yeah, so Kokia Luxin wasn't one for table manners...heh.
The faint scent of undead reached her nares, but again, Kokia Luxin was enjoying her meal far too much. Scarfing down the remains of her fourth helping and draining the third bottle of beer, Kia slapped another set of bills onto the table. "Hey Mister! Gimme another beer and order of grilled fish and oysters!" the food, as though he'd already guessed it, was instantly placed before her. A content, quiet squeal left her lips as she clapped her hands together while grabbing the beer bottle and popping the cap off the edge of the counter. "Thank ya!"
Two patrons took their seats next to her and she heard one of them saying to the other to order whatever they wanted. In the face of food, even Kia had to all but bite her tongue to recognize that little bit.
However, when the patron addressed Kia, her cerulean orbs were the only things that moved as she slurped down another thing of oysters and shucked the shell off to the side with her miniature pile of shells. The male was pale, but had gorgeous black locks and dressed in a nice suit. A young girl was seated next to her, eying the menu happily.
Kokia quirked a brow at the mention of her mother's name. No one...NO ONE outside of her tribe had even HEARD of her mother. Kia's fangs grew slightly in her mouth as her eyes narrowed. "Who are you...and how the hell do you know my mother?" she questioned, not able to hide the aggression in her voice.

Lissa was walking around with Alucard. She was in her normal happy mood. She loved traveling and she was sooo happy to be here. Even if it was hot the smells and bustle were amazing. It was Tokyo again. This place was so alive! She couldnt help but grin at the people walking around. Plus...she loved the accent. It just sounded cool. She would smile and giggle whenever she heard a conversation clearly.
That was rare though because her attention span was about five seconds. Maybe less. She was always looking at something new that hadnt caught her attention yet and then going back to something else, maybe returning to the previous thing for a brief moment. She was a funny girl. But she loved life now that she could live.
She noticed Alucard look behind to make sure she was following. She waved happily and then sprinted ahead as she smelt food. She was additced to that stuff. She was a total food person. She loved the stuff. So when he handed her money, her face brightened and she snatched it up quickly with no hesitation. She then sat down on one side of the female that she could smell was a werewolf.
She then grabbed a menu and gazed at it happily. She was wondering what should she get? But the girls food was starting to look yummy. So she said to the cook, "Can I have what she has? But scratch the beer. Just make it a coke. And two orders of the food. Im hungry..." She said and laughed. Alucard would regret him giving her that much money.

Alucard looked at the two. He sighed as for he was surrounded by munches. He watched Kia as she had over four bottles of beer, many oysters, and some fish. He hopped that he would have to pay for both of them. He looked at Lissa with his orbs. “Ummmmmmm……..” He said as she wanted two orders of the ton of food that Kia ordered. He sighed again. Well I guess that what he deserves when he keeps on telling her to order as much as she wanted. Oh well. He looked at Kia and smiled at her. “I’m Alucard Ian. Didn’t Faina ever talked about me?” He asked her.

The girl was apparently captivated by the food that was known as Kia's spread right now. When she ordered the same thing as her (minus the beer), Kia only quirked a brow...but she only kept her eyes on the new comer.
At his question of whether her mother had talked about him, this Alucard Ian, Kokia's eyes narrowed further. She did not bother retracting her fangs and had to keep her claws from growing with all the focus she could muster. Her mother had never mentioned anything about an "Alucard Ian," or any other vampire for that matter. Her first reaction was that maybe this man was her father, but that was impossible. According to her studies, Vampires were dead and could not pass offspring to another living being...
...so who the hell was he? He knew her mother...knew her well apparently.
But Kia had never been told about this guy. "No." she said evenly before she popped the last bit of fish into her mouth and took a swig of her beer. Wiping her lips with the back of her wrist, the she-wolf pushed down a belch while raising a brow. "My mother never mentioned you at all. How do you know of my mother? If you know her...then you know of where I come from."
Kia's shoulder and thigh muscles were taut...as if ready to launch an attack if necessary.

Liss wasnt really paying attention to the two adults that were talking. She was more interested in her food. The food that the cook now put down in front of her. She clapped her hands together happily while bouncing up and down in her seat. Almost like Kia had done. She really was a little kid at heart.
But even if she was a little kid at heart she had a grown ups appetite. Two would not hold her over. She would probably get even more food. Which wasnt out of the ordinary for Lissa. Alucard knew that. But the cook didnt and it wouldnt just be Kia he would be bringing many plates to.
She picked up an oyster and sucked it up quickly and then dug into the fish. She didnt care if she was being messy. This food was good!! She could eat it all day if she could. But that would be to much money, and besides...it wouldnt fill her up. She needed blood for that.
But she pulled away from her eating when she heard the conversation between Alucard and Kia. Kia seemed to be about to attack Alucard. She tilted her head to the side and looked at them both with a curous expression.

Alucard watched the cook bring Lissa her food. He sighed once again. Alucard wondered how much food Lissa and Kia could stomach. He even wondered if both of there shirts will stretch out. He chuckled at his own thought. He looked at Kia. Alucard cleared his throat before he spoke. “Well you see I knew your mother way before she grew up. I’ve watched her grow up my self. I was the only male she got along with other then your father. I was there when your mother was giving birth to you, and I’ve watched you grow up. I’ve even token care of you one day when you where vary little. Then you two disappeared and I’ve lost contact with you’ll. So how has Faina been?” He asked and told her.

The cook shoved another order of grilled fish and roasted oysters her way as Kokia drank half of her beer. Attempting to ignore the food (though we knew this wouldn't last very long at all), Kokia watched the newcomers quietly as the young vampire shoveled down her food.
She knew that that wouldn't completely satisfy her. She would need to feed. Just the thought of it almost made Kia lose her appetite...okay, not really. But it was a disturbing thought nonetheless.
As this vampire, Alucard Ian, explained to Kokia that he knew his mother way before she'd even been born and fully grown up, the she-wolf relaxed her muscles and tilted her head to the side. So that meant that he was a really old vampire...but he looked so young.
Oh the wonders of the night walkers would never cease, would they?
When she heard him say that he was around when she, in fact, was born, the young werewolf blinked a few times in surprise. He even took care of her? That was strange. It must have been when she was very young and couldn't remember. Before she'd been changed into what she was now.
Oh...the disappearance. Right...
Kia turned her head away, feeling secure enough to know that this male wasn't going to harm her or her family in any way. She slurped down another oyster, bit onto the fish and sucked on the bottle of beer before placing the item down onto the counter. "She's fine I guess. Haven't seen her since the last full moon. Though I can explain to you what happened with losing contact with us. We were attacked by the Bane a few years after I was born." she stated, eyes narrowing in anger as she drained the remainder of her beer and swallowed another thing of oyster before tossing the shell over to the pile. "If you recall, we used to live out in that grand open field just outside of Athens? Well, that place was torched by the Bane. Mom and the rest of the Amazon tribal camps packed up and moved toward a denser forest where it's hell trying to get in and out if you don't know the way."
Kokia waved her hand at the cook, a child-like expression of innocence spreading on her lips as he sighed and placed another beer before her, as well as another plate of roasted oysters. Kia smiled and nodded her head happily as she tore into her grilled fish. Swallowing the food and popping the cap off the bottle with her hand, she gulped a mouthful of beer before wiping her mouth clean with the back of her hand.
"I find it strange Mom never spoke about you...guess she thought you forgot all about her or something." said the she-wolf with a shrug, tossing a bit of her hair from her banes. Kia peeked around to look at the girl munching on her own food and the she-wolf stuck out her chin at the girl. "Who's the runt?"

Lissa's original plan had been to just ignore them and eat. She had the two plates in front of her and the one was already done. She was working on the oysters on the second plate and throwing the shells on the plate she had finished. She had a nice little rythm going.
Of course she was still listening in. She listened as Alucard explained how he had meet Kia's mother and had even been there at her birth and taken care of her. It was interesting and all but she had no business speaking up. She just ate.
She was glad though when Kia didnt seem like she wanted to attack Alucard anymore. It would have been an interesting and not good fight. She wondered how they would explain Kia changing into a wolf and Alucard super strength. Ha. They wouldnt be able to. That would have gone down well.
But her hopes of staying out of it shattered when Kia addressed her. Of course she didnt like being called a runt. Yes she was small but that was because she was only 13. She would forever be 13. She didnt mind. She put down her food though and sighed. "Im Lissa." She didnt voice her opinion on the runt topic.

Alucard looked at the two. They both had such great appetites. He feared for the cook. He chuckled a little bit at his thought. The cook might have to be closed for a while. “Eat as much as you’ll want, bill on me.” He said to them both. He looked at Kia. “I’m sorry to hear that. Well when your done eating, and you take me to you mother?” He asked Kia.

The runt's name was Lissa. Cute. Spunky. Had an hearty appetite like her.
Kia smirked and winked at the girl.
Her eyes moved to look at Alucard Ian and she felt her smirk leave for some reason. Oh well. Nothing much to really think about. At hearing him offer to pay the bill, Kia only snorted as she drained her beer and swallowed another mouthful of oysters and grilled fish. She'd been doing just fine paying her own bill up until now...
-Heh...but since he offered, it would be so rude to refuse!- Kia thought mischievously as she smiled cutely at the chef. "Oh Miste~r? Another round of the same please...make that two more orders!"
And, like magic, the food and beer were instantly before her. If she kept this up, Kia was going to get slap drunk from this much beer. But hey, she loved her sea food. Didn't get too too much of it back in Greece since she didn't live on the coast.
When asked if they could go see her mother after they finished their meal, Kia nearly choked on the bit of oyster she had in her mouth. Swallowing hard and chasing the food down with her beer. "M-Mom? You want to see her?" she stammered, knowing full well that that was what he wanted.
He wanted to see her mother...after all this time. Well, that was a bit unexpected. But if he was a childhood friend of her mother, then it would be obvious. Sighing resolutely, Kia pulled out a mini wooden flute from her inner jacket pocket and blew into it. Moments later, a grayish white bird landed on her shoulder and Kia then pulled out a bit of paper and a utensil to write with, she scribbled a message to her mother.
Kia leaned in and nuzzled the bird's chest, whispered the first few words of a lullaby her mother sang to her in Greek, tied the message around the bird's ankle and sent it on its way. "I have to wait for confirmation first before I lead you there...I know you're immortal, the both of you...but my tribe will torch you if they don't know you're coming into our lands."

Alucard smiled when she almost choked on her food. “You should slow down.” He told her. Then he watched her gulp down her beer. “Try not to get drunk.” He said. He watched at she pulled out a flute and called a bird. He knew she was sending a note.
He knew a lot of there ways. But him getting torched, he wasn’t use to the tribe doing that, but he was a man that respected other’s wishes. He waited for the bird to return with a say so. Now he was going to watch the chef go out of business. Lissa and Kia could do the trick.

Kia barely heeded Alucard's warnings. She had been doing just fine on her own, eating and drinking as she pleased. Regardless of this male being a friend of her mother's or not, she didn't trust him unless it was okay to do so from her mother. Other than that, she would keep her distance.
In the note she'd sent back to her tribe, Kia informed her tribe of her coming and notifying her mother of this "Alucard Ian." If this immortal really knew of her since before her adulthood and took care of even Kokia herself sometimes, then she wanted to know why this man was never mentioned to her at all during her years growing up. Was it because they moved away from their old tribal lands and had lost contact with him?
What...were the reasons?
Kia polished off her last beer for the evening, popping the remnants of the fish and oysters of what had to be her eighth or ninth helping. Deciding that she'd had enough, Kia allowed one of her claws to grow and began picking her teeth clean. Running her tongue across her teeth and lips, Kokia waved for the chef.
"Can I have the bill, please?" she said, fishing around her pockets for more cash before realizing that the last two bits of the meal were on Alucard. "Those last two dishes of mine are on this gentleman here. I've paid for the rest of my food already as you well know." Kia stated with a smirk and the chef only smirked back, shaking his head back and forth.
Suddenly, the bird returned with a message attached to its leg. Kia pulled off the note and read it, eyes narrowing at her mother's reply. Once the message had been soaked into her mind, Kia asked the chef for a match or a lighter and once it touched her hands, she sent the paper into flames and watched it burn to ash on her plate.
"Mother says she'll meet you. That she has some...things to discuss with you." she said, running a hand through her hair after she'd wiped them clean with a napkin. "The trip won't be an easy one, so I hope you and Lissa have prepared yourselves."

Alucard waited for the bird to come back. He knew it shouldn’t take that long for it to return. He might grab the bird for Lissa to drink. Why did she start to eat animals instead of humans? That was because he met a werewolf that taught he to hunt and told her not to hunt humans any more.
Alucard respected the boys wishes, even know it was hard to find animals in some places that he went, but they manage. He watched Kia as she finished the rest of her food and beer then she started to pick at her dirty teeth, now he had to wait for Lissa to finish and for the bird to return.
He took out the money to pay for Kia’s food and gave it to the cook. He started to sing the words of Preliator softly. It was his favriote song to sing or hum when waiting. Then the bird flew back. He stop humming and watched her take the note off of its leg.
He watched Kia read it, but before the bird flew off he grabbed it quickly, and held it tightly so it wouldn’t fly off. He held it to Lissa’s mouth. “Drink. So we can go.” He told her. And liad the money to pay for Lissa’s meals on the table with his free hand. “Don’t worry Kokia, I’m always prepared for anything. And little Lissa is always alright in my hands. And I'll get you a new bird.” He told her not letting go of the bird, but tilting his head to Kia.
