She had laid there in Sevanni's bed, in a strange kind of half sleep. Her mind kept showing her images of her and Tarus, him promising to love her, to cherish her... Her mind was playing back the day of their wedding like it was on video. Playing back random memories with Tarus, amplifying his betrayal even more so than when she had still been fully awake. She wasn't dreaming though. She was perfectly aware of when Sevanni had gotten out of the bed, thinking she was asleep, and walked out of the room, probably to go take care of some business. Sevanni always seemed to be really busy, but she didn't mind. Having his arms around her, holding her to him, had only made her think of Tarus holding her during the day time hours, until she had woken up and decided to go spend some time in the sun. Being married to a vampire had done crazy things to her complexion, but she hadn't cared. She didn't like the day time anyway, she was a night time creature.
Her tears had stopped a long time ago, and her anger had built up into a raging storm, silently raging within her. She knew exactly what she was going to do when the sun set. She kept her chain tight enough that she could last until she got to a somewhat unpopulated area. There would be no stopping her, and she knew that. She didn't have that good a hold on herself. Since Sevanni told her about Tarus not being dead, and she realized the betrayal to her, her tight chain had slipped, hanging on by one single link of sanity, though weak. She wouldn't be able to keep herself sane past a certain point, and she just hoped that she still wasn't on the plane when her composure snapped. It would really suck for her to kill the pilot and die because she didn't know how to fucking control a plane.
She was silently counting down the hours until the sun set over the horizon, and darkness spread across New York. This was nothing more than an inconvenience that she was not accustomed to. She was used to being able to get up and just go, no matter what time. Day or night. Now, the sun had turned into her worst enemy, and she didn't dare get up until night fall. She breathed a sigh of relief when she felt the sun lowering over the sky, and disappear entirely. The house began to reopen, going off of lock down. She stood quickly from the bed and walked out of Sevanni's room, straight to her own. She changed clothes, dressing in a pair of faded blue jeans that were wore down with holes and a black corset shirt, along with a pair of her Anarchy flat bottom shoes. She grabbed her cell phone, the credit card that Sevanni had given her, and slipped out of the house, hopefully unnoticed. You could never really tell when no one noticed someone leaving the house, there were eyes all over the place, and she hadn't quite learned how to dodge them yet.
She had taken one of Sevanni's vehicles to the airport, calling and getting a ticket lined up for her. Usually, airports were not too privy on giving people tickets so late in advance, but when they pulled up the account name she had given them, they were only too happy to find an opening on a one way flight straight to where she wanted to go. She smiled and hung up, pressing her foot down into the gas petal, the engine purred nicely as she pushed it to 120 mph on the back roads heading towards the airport, taking a short cut. She almost laughed at the sensation of the sleek black car going this fast, and knowing that she could push it further still. Her reflexes were much better than they had been, and she didn't see any problem with taking out some of her frustration on the car, pushing it to it's limits. It took her eight minutes to get to the airport, when it should have taken her at least thirty, if not more.
She arranged for someone to have Sevanni's car delivered back to him immediately, trusting them to take it there. These people seemed to know of Mr. Black, and seemed to fear him just the right amount for them to obey her without her having to worry that they would steal the expensive car. She smiled to herself and walked in to get her ticket. No wonder Sevanni was so damn greedy. All this power could go straight to ones head and make their ego inflate like nothing before. She struggled with keeping herself under control as the scent of fresh blood swamped her, and decided to simply hold her breath, for the sake of her own sanity, and everyone's lives. She still had enough morals to keep herself from slaughtering everyone in the airport.
She walked to the terminal where she was to board her plane in just a few moments. She pulled out her cell phone and pressed speed dial 2, which would call Ali for her. She listened as the phone rang. Once. Twice. Three times. Then the answering machine. She smiled at the bubbly sound of her petite little friend and hearing Victor's voice in the background. Then a beep. "Ali, it's Nix. I'm glad you didn't answer, I don't really feel like explaining. Let's just leave the explanation at this, okay? I found out some information about Tarus... And I don't like it. If I'm still alive, or sane, after tonight, I will give you details, but I can't now..." She attempted a breath through her mouth, and her throat burned. She groaned and decided to get this done quickly, and then just refuse to breathe. "I love you and Vic both, and I wish the two of you the best of luck." She was interrupted by a voice over the intercom. All first class passengers, please report to terminal A 19, and we will begin boarding. Once again, all passengers A 1 through A 19. We are beginning boarding the 9:50 one way flight to Alaska. "Got to go." And then she hung up and walked to the designated terminal, boarding the plane with one last breath of clean air.
The only way that she kept herself from going off the deep end on the plane was to keep herself from breathing. She sat there, her anger growing steadily throughout the flight, her chain slipping further and further as she slipped further and further into madness. By the time the flight was finally over, her eyes had turned bright red and her fangs had slipped to full extent. Thankfully, she had been in the first seat, and had ducked out of the plane without anyone noticing, still refusing to breathe.
She had intended to go somewhere more remote than the small fishing community that she had landed in. She had meant to go somewhere with a population of like... 50 or something. Not 275. Still not a lot... But that wasn't the point. However, at that point, she didn't particularly care. She decided to just start walking and see what trouble found her. She was still within enough control, though barely, to not just go on a killing rampage, though she knew without a doubt that before the night was over, she would have been pushed to that point. She wanted it, in truth. Would welcome it.
That was why she made her way towards one of the only bars in this small town. Bars were rowdy, and she knew that someone would piss her off around that vicinity. Some drunk guy would get grabby, a girl would run her mouth... Something. She walked into the bar, her eyes scanning the room, though she kept towards the shadows so that no one would really notice her extended fangs or her unnatural red eyes.
She felt the inhabitants of the little bar watching her, and she could feel their drunken smiles at the thought of some new meat. She knew that she looked like easy prey to some of the more perverse men, small, petite, and alone. She looked like the easiest target they could have hoped for, and she knew it. She amplified the timid, shy image that they would expect to see, mentally smirking at their ignorance. All she needed was a opening, a little push, and she would show all of them exactly what she truly was.
She saw someone making their way to her out of the corner of her eye, and she glanced over at who it was before quickly looking away, putting on the face of a embarrassed, timid young woman. The man had been a good 6 foot, towering over her smaller frame, wearing a plaid shirt and Levi jeans. His bear claw of a hand smacked her ass hard, a chuckle running through the room, even a few cat calls were shot her way. That was it. That was exactly what she needed. She turned around slowly, her blond hair covering most of her face, hiding her eyes from view. "Weren't you ever taught how to treat a lady?" Without waiting for him to respond, her right foot shot out and kicked him hard in his ribs with such force that it sent him flying into the bar, glass shattering. She had let herself slip from her leash, and allowed the demon in her full reign.
Another guy came at her, thinking to avenge his friend. She laughed, the sound echoing throughout the bar as she continued to tear down patrons, drinking from some until she had reached her fill, and drinking some more still, while she simply broke others. Blood covered the walls and herself, and still more people came into the bar, summoned by the screams from the men in the bar. All the better for her. She didn't even have to go out after them, they came to her.
It took her only minutes to destroy the insides of the bar, and take the life of every person inside. As she walked out, rage still flowing through her like a tidal wave of destruction, she caught her reflexion in the mirror. Her blond hair was clumped up with blood, blood staining her face and clothes, along with every square inch of the bar. She already knew where she would be heading next. Straight to the police station. That was the whole reason she had said to Ali's answering machine 'if I live'. Police had guns, and while she knew that guns couldn't kill her, she wasn't entirely positive how much damage it would do to a new born vampire.
It only went to show how small the town was that they police had not been called to the bar. Had the foolish people who had run into the bar, hearing screams of the dying, not called the police first? No matter, all the more fun for her. The element of surprise was always best. What would be going through the humans minds when they saw little ol' her walk in, covered in blood like she was, fangs extended, and a blood crazed look in her eyes? She wasn't herself anymore, she had no control at that point. She decided to play around with the police officers a bit before killing them. She cut off the power first, making sure the generators wouldn't work either. Making her way into the back, she came across a guard by the prisoners cells, digging through a desk trying to find a flash light. To the humans weak eyes, it would be pitch black, making him blind in the dark, unable to see anything at all.
She grabbed him by the throat, sinking her fangs into his jugular, ripping his throat out as he let out a shriek of pain and shock. She threw him into the bars of the cells, hearing bones crack and feet pounding against the floor as officers raced to the back to see what had happened to their comrade. She began picking them off one by one, enhancing their fears, never letting them see her fully, only flashes. They were a superstitious town anyway, which just made this all the more delicious. She killed each of them differently. Draining some, snapping vital bones on some, and even ripping one or two of them apart, throwing the body parts in separate directions. And then, when she was finished with the police officers, she turned towards the cells with the prisoners cowering in the corner, shaking like rabbits. She tilted her head, letting out a peel of laughter that sounded more demonic than amused, and used the keys to open the iron doors. She could have ripped it open, she was sure, but the slow motion of the key inserting the lock, and hearing the lock click as it opened, would have pushed their fears higher.
It took her a total of thirty minutes to deal with the inmates alone, since she was now playing with her prey. She got a sick kind of thrill out of pushing their fears higher and higher. All in all, it had taken her almost a hour to kill off everyone in the police station, and the place absolutely reeked of fear, pain, and death. She stood there for a moment, taking in the scent and looking over her handy work, a small smile pulling across her lips. Anyone who walked into this place would end up throwing up everything they had eaten that day. Brains, guts, body parts, blood... Everything you could possibly think of that came from a human body was smeared over the walls, the floor, and the ceiling. They would never have this place clean, it would always bare the blood stains of so many.
She walked out the same way she came in, calmly, as though she wasn't covered in brains and blood, and as if nothing was out of the ordinary. However, her anger was still not sated, and she began working her way through civilian houses. She didn't discriminate anyone, though she hadn't come across any children as of yet. She killed everyone who stumbled across her without remorse, without thought, her mind consumed in a blind fury that she wasn't sure would ever cease. Throughout all these kills, which was getting high up there in number, Tarus' face was inside her mind, and his promise to love and cherish her echoed through her mind like a broken record, amplifying her anger all the more.

The flashing lights were starting to bug her eyes. They were in shades of red and purple and techno music was blasting through the speakers at full volume. Even for a human it was a bit loud. So you could only imagine what it would be like for a vampire. Her head was pounding to the beat and she had to close her eyes and grit her teeth every now and then to get it to stop. But really, the manager had to pick this for tonight? He could have picked any other theme, but no. He had to pick this.
Ali had been at work now since the sun went down and people started to stream in wanting various things. Such as wine, beer, cocktails. Shots of different alcohol. And every little group she would watch drag themselves away drunk as can be. In a way she envied them. She herself couldnt even get tipsy. Downing every drink in this place wouldnt even affect her. That was the sad part. So in a way, it was a good thing she was working as a bar tender. Vic had offered for her to work at his bar, but she thought better of that and went to a different place.
One of the last people in the place finally collapsed off their chair and she gave a small grunt and then looked towards one of the other workers. "Hey Ken? We got another fainter. Drag them out will ya?" It was the managers rule that they had to drag the unconscious people out. When Ken came over she gave her thanks in the form of a nod and then grabbed a glass from under the counter and poured herself some scotch. They had tons to spare anyway. She was sure her boss wouldnt miss a glass. Or maybe a whole bottle.
Tonight was pretty dead and all she wanted to do was go home. Vic would still be at his bar working. They normally got off around the same time and she would catch him on the way home and they would go back home together. Even if at times she had to deal with his car. As her boss came through the doors though she quickly hid the bottle of scotch under the counter and started to wash it down with the rag. He came right over to her and grinned. "Hey doll. Its slow tonight. Im closing up. Go home."
Her grin was enough reply. "Thank you!" She told him and then put the rag down and hopped over the bar. She didnt want to mess with the little gate to the side. Waving goodbye to the others she went out into the night and headed towards home since Vic would still be at work. It was a nice night but she couldnt shake the feeling that she was missing something. Or that something bad was going to happen. Her instincts had never failed her before and so she didnt expect them to fail her now.
Walking home she was on high alert to make sure every little shadow was where and what it was supposed to be. Her walk home was uneventful and so she started to relax a bit. Walking through the doors she placed her keys down on the table to the side and then went to the back where their room was. The shower was calling to her. Warm water running down her back sounded pretty damn good at the moment. And so with no other hesitation she went into the bathroom and stripped down and started up the shower.
Sadly, her bliss would be short lived though. Right as she stepped into the water and closed her eyes, the phone went off. "Damn." She muttered and then turned the water off so she could listen to the message. There was no way she would reach the phone on time. Leaning her back against the wall she smiled at their voice message and then just as soon as that smile appeared, it slid off and vanished.
"Ali, it's Nix. I'm glad you didn't answer, I don't really feel like explaining. Let's just leave the explanation at this, okay? I found out some information about Tarus... And I don't like it. If I'm still alive, or sane, after tonight, I will give you details, but I can't now...I love you and Vic both, and I wish the two of you the best of luck. All first class passengers, please report to terminal A 19, and we will begin boarding. Once again, all passengers A 1 through A 19. We are beginning boarding the 9:50 one way flight to Alaska. Got to go."
Her brown eyes were wide and she didnt know what to do. She heard the information about Tarus and she figured it was not something pleasant. When Nix was interrupted by the speaker in the place she was at, she paid no attention to it. She rushed out of the shower, wrapping a towel around her and then raced to the phone. She picked up right as she heard the click on the other end. "Nix! Shit!" She growled and then rubber her temples. Oh this was not good. And then she realized she needed to find her.
Picking up the phone she redialed Nix's number and sat there impatiently, waiting for her to answer. But there came none and only the voice mail came up. "Damn it damn it damn it." She shouted and then hit replay on the message trying to see if she could find anything. Any kind of hint. This time, she heard the speakers words. "Alaska?!" She said stunned and then dropped the phone on the bed and rushed over to her clothes, shoving them back on, grabbing her keys, her cell phone and then rushed out the door.
Sure she couldnt drive for shit and she was to frightened to even attempt it, but she was going to Alaska damn it. And she was a fast runner. A very fast runner. She could get there in record time. But first she had some calls to make....
Her first call was to Vic. He was of course speed dial number one on her phone and she waited for him to pick up. "Hey love. I know its out of the blue. But Nix is doing something stupid. I can feel it. She is heading towards Alaska. So Im going after her. You wont be able to get a hold of me after I get on the plane. Love you. Please dont worry about me." She then hung up without waiting on a reply. She had one other person to call and if she knew her husband, he would probably get off of work and she would see him in Alaska anyway.
She dialed this number out this time, even though this person did have a speed dial. She needed something to calm her down and focus her. This person though didnt pick up. "Rose. Its Ali. Get on a plane. Now. I dont care where you are. Nix needs us. She is going to do something stupid. I know it. Head to Alaska. Ill see you there." With that final message, she clicked the phone off, shoved it in her pocket and sprinted towards the airport.
Ali arrived there in about ten minutes which wasnt bad considering how much of it she had to run. Waiting in the line for tickets was a pain but she got to the front and was recognized by the girl there. She got two tickets. One for her and she asked the other to be put on hold for a Victor Ambrose. She knew he would be racing here soon and would need a later flight. The one she had booked for herself was boarding as she got the ticket.
Waisting no time she went to the terminal and through the gates after showing the ticket. The plane was pretty big but wouldnt take to long to fill up. It was a red eye flight. Most of the passengers were already asleep. But Ali knew she wouldnt be sleeping. She was afraid. very afraid for her friend. What was she doing? There was no time to think on that though and she placed her head back against the head rest and just breathed.
---
Arriving in Alaska she was thankful that it was night. And she was also frightened. She could already feel that something was wrong. When they all got off, some guards were stationed at the doors and they werent allowing people by. Apparently someone was attacking the city. Just by listening she could tell it was Nix. They claimed it was a blonde girl with fire in her eyes. That sounded like her Nixie. Now her problem was getting past these guards.
Looking up and around the area she tried to find some way to sneak out. But it was hard in an airport with no open windows and no unblocked doors. So what she did next she would regret later on. But she went over to one of the busier corners, where people werent really paying attention and talked with the male guard. He was short, not much taller then her and about her size. So she knocked him out when he least expected it, stole his uniform and walked on out of there without anyone asking her a thing.
Once outside, she pushed up the police hat and then growled slightly. If she were Nix....where would she go. Hell. She didnt have to ask that. She could smell the blood and fear and death on the wind. It was the main and dominant scent here. She had passed this way and if she were doing the same thing, she would head towards the city once she was done with the outskirts. So thats where she headed.
Along the way, she peeled off the officers uniform and tried to not pay attention to the blood smell and the bodies. It reminded her way to much of her own snapping. She had been a vampire for a week..and couldnt take it anymore. But Nix had the right of mind to come to a place that wasnt populated very high. Ali had been in Vegas. Not a single person had lived after she was done with them. And so Ali knew what Nix was going through. And she also prayed that Rose and Vic were on their way here.
The city was loud. People screaming and running away from something they had never expected. There were people dead already. She knew that. She could smell it. It pained her to see so many people terrified. And this is why her kind needed to stay a myth. They could cause so much damage and destruction without meaning to. And they scared people even if they were gentle. And when they snapped, no one wanted to be around. But she was staying. She was going to help Nix.
And right as she thought about her friend. There she was. Still the beautiful woman that Ali remembered. But now with burning red eyes and an anger she had never seen before. She looked lethal and beautiful at the same time. Vampire really were the perfect hunter. Made to kill. Who wouldnt come to Nix if she beckoned with a sweet voice? Even the eyes, even though they were red, pulled them in. But Ali wasnt a mortal. And she was here to help her. She braced herself for a fight though and knew this was going to hurt if it did come down to it. Ali wasnt a fighter, but she would fight if it came to it.
"Nix!" She yelled across to her friend and swallowed. "Nix stop! Please! This isnt you!" She closed the distance between them and took Nix's hand softly, begging with her eyes. "Please. Stop. Your not a killer Nix. Your not a killer like this."

Sevanni loved the way her hair smelled. Lifting his arm from around her waist he couldn't forget it while he was out of the room. Having to go down into the study through fairly lit halls, moving across the floor in white socks while he roamed around dark blue cotton pajama pants and a white T-shirt. He had a couple of things to go over, and some signatures to place onto paper.
It had been a while since he had done this, but there was no need for it while he was out and about doing the usual shit he did out on the streets of New York. There had been getting Darien back. Making sure the triplets had their own place somewhere in the city. Getting Phoenix back into his grasp and turning her from mutt to mortal to vampire in a matter of hours.
He met Jace, a very handsome mortal that he had very much appreciated in both looks and taste. He had much to go through, but he was a welcoming participant to his appetites. Then there was the news of his brother up spring. Returning to their home in Italy and causing a stir in the village that the house had finally been taken back into occupancy. It had taken Marcus four months to breech that country to see who had done it.
Then there was Shaden and him making Sevanni feel a certain way about his eye opening and epic scene of why men on men action was more appreciated those days. Helena. Learning that she was back and managing to get her a job at the Culture Club. Seeing that the two of them had somehow managed to interact, but never expected for them to fall in love with one another. If you could call it that. He was still angry that she and Damien hadn't lasted, but that story was never told to him. If Shaden wanted to be happy, then he didn't want to push that over a cliff for him. After all, he had feelings for the guy. But he would find out from her or Damien whether or not it was her fault or not that they were no longer a couple.
Then the gypsy splitting him apart and letting him soar free all willy nilly. His lapse of sense making him Rape Inora for a power push. A very unlikely thing that he would do, and still would keep tabs on should she tell a soul. He always kept his word, and he meant it when he said don't tell a soul. Now Nixie. How she had taken the news about Tarus. The feelings he held for her coming out with affection, and them kissing one another on separate occasions. It wasn't something that he expected her to embrace, but he was glad he had made a move to see if she even felt an iota of feelings for him.
It had been a little after sunset when he woke up. His head lifting from the desk, unnatural that he would fall asleep at the desk while waking up in a weird mood. He must have been really tired in order for that to happen, but it was no surprise. He had barely slept in days.
There was a knock on the door. He nearly expected it to be Darien, maybe he could grab him breakfast for something quick and regenerating, but it had been Marcus.
"Good, I need to know what you have planned for........." He paused as he looked at the urgency and disdain on Marcus's face. "What? What's wrong?" He had rolled his eyes to his right and Sevanni watched as he hesitated in speaking. "Out with it."
Marcus stepped one single step closer, his arms folded in front of him. "Your Bentley was taken at the rise of gate, but it's been returned unharmed." Sevanni frowned, wondering who the hell had taken it but Marcus already knew he would ask. "She's gone Sir....I was informed of a charge made over the limit of notification, and purchased a flight ticket." Sevanni looked hungry to know where. When Marcus told him he had figured that she needed to run free a while out there. Since there were plenty of good ways to let out your esteem, but here was the kicker.
Sevanni had been turned in Alaska, and if the Tri-Pod thought they could summon her inside, then he had a huge situation on his hands. Then again, she could have been drawn there for another reason, or felt to go there on her own accord. Which would be better than the other option. When they tried to force him to do something they did everything in their power to get him to do it.
"There's more." Sevanni rose brows and sat back. Crossing his arms over his chest, slightly growing irritated. "She's breaching the limits of sanctioned treaty up there for us, and......" If he didn't spit it out Sevanni was going to rip out his fucking throat.
"Spit it out!" He shouted, no startle on Marcus's end. "Your brother's on his way there now to stop her. I think he plans on taking her." And that was not the right thing to hear.
Sevanni had felt like his body had been made of charcoal and his entire body was starting to really burn. A sudden rush filled his chest, making his blood boil. "Go get my things....We live in three." He spoke to Marcus as if all feeling had left his body. This was it. He knew what his brother was planning, andit wasn't anything good.
Behind him on the shelving there was a latch, clicking it to move the shelf to the right of the wall so his safe would be revealed. Not like it was a big secret, but he did have important things in it. For instance. What had been inside that safe that Sevanni was going to take with him. Wrapped in a soft velvet satchel for safe keeping from it getting scratched. He had hoped that he wouldn't use it. He had used it to bury his brother Ezra and consecrate the earth's soil.
He would get there before him. Before anyone would get hurt, especially Phoenix. Damned if others where there, it was Jeremiah he was more concerned about. His older brother, far worse than him who had better fighting skills and a mastermind of various whirlwinds. One day it would come down to it, but tonight he had hoped it wouldn't. He wanted to get to Phoenix. Not only stop her from draining the entire state dry, but to somehow manage to help the cause of her hurt, even if it was his fault or not. Hadn't he made a promise to her? He would keep his word and tend to her. If Shaden or Jace or any other of his loved ones had been in trouble, he would do the same for them. He didn't have any need to take Kane and Abel with him because they were pretty shot up from recent events, but Marcus came along whil ehis lady tended to the house and other affairs.
Off to Alaska...

He stretched and yawned as his cell phone went off. He knew who it was; the song was only assigned to one person. Ali. He smiled and picked up his phone, knowing it would be her sweet voice.
“Hey Ali, what’s…”
"Hey love. I know it’s out of the blue. But Nix is doing something stupid. I can feel it. She is heading towards Alaska. So I’m going after her. You won’t be able to get a hold of me after I get on the plane. Love you. Please don’t worry about me."
And Click, dead tone…
So much for a wakeup call.
But that wasn’t what worried him. Nixie is heading for Alaska and about to do something stupid and Ali is charging after her blindly. That is what scared him the most. He knew Nixie better than anyone, something stupid meant she was angry, and when she’s mad, you don’t touch her, especially now since she was a Vampire. He knew the way the emotions of an angry vampire could cloud all reason and logic. He knew it all too well.
He got out of bed and grabbed whatever he could grab off the top shelf, put on his shoes, and ran to the computer as quickly as he can, buying the quickest one way ticket to Alaska. He was in a rush. This was a matter of life and death… He then ran to the computer and printed the quickest ticket to Alaska, regardless if it was one-way or round-trip. He needed to get there soon. Got the ticket, he sprinted to the airport with his backpack filled with stuff he might need. His acupuncture set, his glass bowls needed for cupping, the small bottle of alcohol that was used for the cupping, and lastly, his far ranged tazer. He was praying he wouldn’t need it, but he wasn’t going to take any chances. No problems with any of the items in his bag, and he was on the plane heading toward Alaska. London to Alaska: Destination time… fourteen hours. The shortest he could find. If it wasn’t for that damn connection, he could have been there in about thirteen hours. Every second counts. He would have run, but that on its own would take more time, and he couldn’t spare it.
’Please don’t let it be what I think it is. Please.’
”And in other news, reports of killings stirred up in Alaska as a female goes from house to house killing of anyone with her reach. No one knows as to why she is on the hunt, but no one is given mercy.” SHIT! This was not good and not what he wanted to hear. He JUST got off the plane? How the hell could this have happened so fast?! There was no time to lose and he didn’t care if he was going to have to weave his way through people, tables, and any other obstacle. Secret or not, he used his vampire speed, hoping over tables, running around people, jumping off walls, and everything. He wasn’t stopping for anyone or anything. This wasn’t the time or place to stop. The second he walked outside the Airport, the smell of blood was strong in the air. The wind was carrying it and he just followed the scent.
Nixie… how could she be responsible for this? The Nixie who he knew since the age of children and the one who was by his side through everything… It was just like old times, only this time, he was getting her out of trouble far more than he ever imagined. This was insane! He could never see Nixie a killer! So what caused this? What triggered her to do something so radical? Although Nixie is the tough person on the outside, she wouldn’t hurt anyone without reason. But this went beyond that. What caused her to snap and go out to Alaska killing those people?
He couldn’t figure it out.
Regardless though, he ran. He ran for his friend. She needed him now, more than ever.
When he got there, he heard a voice he didn’t want to hear. "Nix!" She yelled across to her friend and swallowed. "Nix stop! Please! This isn’t you!" She closed the distance between them and took Nix's hand softly, begging with her eyes. "Please. Stop. You’re not a killer Nix. You’re not a killer like this." He ran to the voice and stood by her side. “Ali… what’s going on?”

It was Alaska. Who didn’t cherish being in Alaska, then who had a heart as cold as it? Rose certainly did. In the quiet little fishing town, she didn’t need to worry about anything. Stress, wasn’t invented in Alaska. No need to worry about work, Derek, or the paparazzi. Just some serious rest and relaxation. And it was. Sitting in a lodge, sipping on some cocoa, just thinking. About life, love and perhaps the future. Blinking her ice hues slowly, she took another sip, the warm liquid sliding down her throat slowly. Maybe she’d buy some property in Alaska. Take the girls and the boys out here for Christmas. It was nice, wasn’t it? Relaxation? Inhaling the crisp smell of chocolate, her senses tingled. Beckoned her to them slowly, enticing her to the scent. Rose stood, crossing the small path to the window, looking out curiously. With sharp senses, she caught the shrill shrieks of people. Probably a snowball fight going on. Couldn’t have been far off, even her cabin in the middle of nowhere, they were somewhat loud. A small smile danced upon her lips, joyous and happy. Taking another breath, the smell of something putrid yanked her senses all together. Blood. Vampire. Death. The glass mug that had fit so snuggly in her hands, came shattering to the ground, breaking into a million pieces. So much for rest and relaxation. Her phone rang, but Rose didn’t move to answer it. Couldn’t move. The voicemail came on. "Rose. Its Ali. Get on a plane. Now. I don’t care where you are. Nix needs us. She is going to do something stupid. I know it. Head to Alaska. Ill see you there." More like the events had been turned against her. Her pupils dilated, and like a deer in headlights, they shrank to a miniscule size. Stepping over her luggage, makeup, and other shit, she became a frenzy. Not good. She didn’t have time to dress appropriately. She needed to know what happened. Flinging the door open, gust after gust slapped her in the face. The skin she bore, was so pale, it almost looked translucent. Green and blue veins outlined her delicate face. The beautiful blond hair, was quite literally white as snow. And those eyes, her pupils almost invisible. Damn the cold. She jumped over the side of the ramp, landing thigh deep in snow. She let out a string of very unladylike words. Rose wouldn’t stop though, wouldn’t stop till she got whatever it was. “The fuck with this…” She growled, taking off sprinting, in the direction of the blood smell. She’d reached it within a few minutes, her gazelle like nature, had given her the advantage. The corner of the town was what hit her first. Her nose crinkled. She’d only smelt a smell like this once. And it was her fault. Chatham. November 5th, 1904. The night she was turned. November 6th, 1904. The day she let all hell loose. Killed everyone who came into contact with her. Eyes reddened at the memory, but her self control packed itself down, and they turned back to ice. She saw bodies, and blood almost immediately. She bowed her head slowly, praying that’d it been quick. Where was the blood the strongest? The Bar and a police station. She headed there, not realizing how quickly her toned body was starting to act human. Her reaction to cold was abnormal. Maybe because of the lack of clothes, but who knew? Rose stepped through the threshold, salivating at the mouth. Come on Rose..just a little taste..it won’t hurt.. A snide voice came from the back of her mind, and she cleared her throat. No. No she wouldn’t. She ignored the voice, walked to the bar. Strange, no bartender. She hoped over the bar, slipping instantly on something. She fell, landing on the rear, grimacing. It wasn’t what would make her scream, but it didn’t sit well with her either. A man with his throat torn out, glazed eyes staring at her. The substance she’d slipped on, was blood mixed with vodka. “You had no idea..” She whispered, feeling like she was talking to loud. Like somehow her tone was harsh. She bent his neck over, feeling around. There was no pulse. Frowning, she hoped over the bar again. Checked the pulses of every dead person there. No pulse greeted her. She shook her head. So this was what it was like. Being on the receiving side of a small massacre. Though hers hadn’t been small. Massive. She left the bar, scavenged the streets, and prison. Rose couldn’t bear herself to look at the prison? Was this what it was like? For the police, who had to look at the faces, and bodies stained with blood. Stained with death? Her eyes caught something though, and she picked it up. It was small, but would stay well hidden. She’d die using it. She would die using it. It almost killed her the first time she used it, as a threat. A lighter. The feeling in her hand, bought memories of the burn treatment she’d spent three months in. Three precious months. Gripped tighter in her pale skin. She heard voices, and followed the bloody smell. A couple of minutes, and she saw Ali. Eyes widened if possible, her hand was on Phoenix. Not good, not good at all. She hadn’t been spotted yet, but Vic was there also. She blinked. Well, she hadn’t bought Derek along, had she? Eyes moved to Phoenix, and in a flash Ali wasn’t there. Ali was flying. If the chill hadn’t gotten to her now, it did. Shaking, her quadriceps shaking her skin. She refused though, to cross her arms. This couldn’t be Phoenix. The Phoenix she’d known had a temper, but wouldn’t kill a small amount of people. Something had to have provoked her to this point. What though, could have? Rose looked to see if Ali was okay, but couldn’t see. Landing on a wall though, had to have hurt. She swallowed anything in her mouth, and picked her up feet, running. She knocked into Phoenix full force, like two tractor and trailers slamming head on into each other. Surprise was such a gift. Poor Phoenix’s anger was enough to make her oblivious to all thing. Rose was, and pretty much everyone she knew was as well. Temper and anger blinded the mind and eye. Knees digging into the snow, she straddled Phoenix, pinning her down. And with muscles like hers, and determination like hers, Nix would have to fight like hell. Using a free hand, she pinned her arms underneath her legs as well. So many ways she could get hurt in this position. Fragility wasn’t fun at all. Placing both white hands on either side of Phoenix’s face, she dug them in, holding her still. Good god, Nix looked horrible. Rabid even. Cold eyes peered into the hues of Phoenix. “Listen to me.” She kept her hands hard, holding the face as still as possible. “This isn’t you. Your angry, I get it. He hurt you, I get it.” She bought her dangerously white face close to Phoenix. “He’s still alive. Which means he hasn’t given up yet. Phoenix.” She growled. “He wouldn’t want to see you like this. I know what you’re feeling. Trust me, I’ve been through and done it to many a time.” The cold eyes were set on hers. She did know. Moscow, Chatham, Italy, and the night Anthony had died. She knew the glory of killing. Knew the rush it gave someone. “It’s not worth it.” She inclined her head up a little, trying to find Ali, but only for a glimmer. She wouldn’t let herself get distracted and killed. Nope. Her mind wandered off, while claws and body held her still. Would she? Would she have to? Would it end up saving her life? Or setting her off the deep end, all out crazy. Would she have to set her demon off? Rose..darling..you need me..she’ll kill you. She doesn’t recognize you at all. All she cares about is Taru. She could careless if you ended up dead. You need me to take her down.. Her jaw twitched. Shut up, you’re lying. She’s fine. I know she is. She’s Phoenix. She’s strong. She’ll come out on top. Shut up. Rose..your foolish. You’ll let me loose when you’re about to die. Know that lighter tucked in your shorts? You feel it itching beneath you? Wishing to be pulled and lit? Remember Moscow Rose? How the feeling of falling embers burned your skin? You can do that to her. You can make her skin curl. She let out a snarl, true. The lighter was beneath her shorts, wanting to be used. She wouldn’t use it unless she needed to. She tightened her grip on Phoenix, body quivering slightly. Rose.. sweetie. We’ll end up dying if you don’t let me go. Your barely containing me now. Your barely containing her. She shook her head, pressing herself against Phoenix, knowing how secure it was. How hard it’d be to escape. How hard it’d be to contain the beast once it was loose. How much she’d hate herself for not containing it better. An image flashed in her head. The one memory she hated the most. When she was at her ugliest. Wrapped head to toe in cold gauze, hooked up to a monitor, beeping slightly. That couldn’t be her heart could it? Hers was dead. But it was her. The imaged Rose walked to the Rose wrapped. “You look like a mummy..” The memory Rose made no sound, or movement. “Why aren’t you talking? Do I annoy you?” A sprite like laugh came from the imaged Rose. No response from memory Rose. “TALK TO ME DAMNIT!” The roar came, and the imaged Rose jumped on memory Rose and began ripping and tearing. Blood seeped from the gauze, the screaming from both girls coming. The vision suddenly disappeared. Rose just then realized how hard the grip had gotten on Phoenix, and loosened it somewhat. Did you enjoy the movie preview? That’s going to be you after this is finished up. Let me loose Rose.. A low wail came from inside her head. The skin on her seemed to turn white, almost a sickly gray. You’re not getting out. Ever again. You’ll fuck everything I have up. You’ll make me lose Derek, Ali, and Phoenix. You’ll kill us. A chuckle resided deep in her. It sent a chill through her. I thought you wanted to get rid of me? I thought I was ruining your life? I guess the only way you can get rid of me, the only way you can is IF YOU DIE! Howling laughter, that could only belong to the insane, echoed through her being. The demon was right. The demon was so right. You’re right..for once you’re actually right. The only way to get rid of you..is to die. She mentally shook her head. I just got everything, and you want me to throw it away? Your fucking insane. Only louder laughter echoed over her voice. I’m always right Rose. If you let me just do this game one more time..I swear I’ll be good. I won’t bother you until you need me. I don’t need you even know, she though, the anger building in her. It was unstoppable. Uncontrollable. Yeah, I’ll unlock the first tier. Handle that and deal with it. You behave nicely, I’ll see what I’ll let you do, she said, closing her eyes slowly. Oh goody, I actually get some action! Her grip hold on Nix stayed iron-like. The building anger slowly bought itself up. Building. Images, the ones that made her mad the most, flooded her mind. The rushing feeling of locked away anger had as well. Seeing her father sitting there so casually the night she’d been turned, and seeing him so carefree when she came to kill him. How Anthony had happened her, and just left her there. How she fed off of the screams of her sisters and families. How anyone who dared to look at her blood ridden face wrong, would end up blood ridden as well. How she scared herself. How she lost herself. How she lost Anthony, her true and first love. How she was critiqued for every damn thing she did. How no one cared about her, truly cared. She was a monster taken straight out of a horror movie. Her eyes reddened to such a dark red, it was a new look for her. White blood. A ripple ran through her body, and once she opened her eyes again, everything was in a light. A red one. She looked at Phoenix, and saw the blood. Really saw it. Her lips savored for it, her body ached for it. Like sex, only blood was something you could never really get tired of. You missed it like hell when it wasn’t there. And slept in it when it was. She bent over, her mouth just above Nix’s cheek. “I wonder how you taste..” A raspy voice, that resembled nothing of Rose. She ran her tongue over her face, taking in the blood. The blood that was somebody else’s. It was still as good as any other type of blood, but she wanted to taste Phoenix. Wanted to feel the cold blood course through her veins. Make Phoenix apart of her. Weren’t they best friends after all? Blood sisters? A low chuckle came from Rose, and whispered onto Phoenix’s cheek. “I wonder if he knows? Does dear Sevanni know that you’re here? Destroying his reputation? I thought he had control..” She tsked a little bit. “I guess not.” A high pitched cackle came from her, and she ran her fingers over the bloodied body, licking the blood off. One of the most delectable treats to indulge in. Girlish and childish giggles never stopped coming for her plump and dirtied lips. She patted Phoenix’s cheek a little, maybe too roughly. She stood off of Phoenix, still straddling her, her snow white hair hanging in her face. This was such a bad idea. I was so stupid.. the small voice of Rose came from her ears. She shook it out like a fly. She turned to Vic, her head tilted to the side. The look of a deviously innocent child written clearly on her head. “We have some unfinished business. Fledgling.” She sneered, moving with extremely blinding speed, her iron grip around his throat. “But no fan..” She pouted, her face distorting with anger as she lifted him off the ground. “I’ll make do though.” She picked him up off the ground. “I forgot..your human..you don’t need air..” She sighed, like this was the biggest liability in her case. She sent him into a house. “Hold on tight, this is going to be a bumpy ride..” Another chirped laugh came. “Here, Victor, Victor, Victor. Come out, come out wherever you are! Don’t bore me with running away..” She pranced into the house, walking through the smashed door. She found Victor, and saw a glimmer of something. Shots. Antidotes? A loud, and animalistic growl threw up from her throat. “You think those can stop me? There are only two people who can stop me! And one of them is dead! Your just shit out of luck.” She laughed, picking up a piece of wood, looked like it belonged in a wall. Nice, long, thick and sturdy. Nice for taking off heads too.

The smell of blood permeated the air, like a strong perfume. Drawing her deeper and deeper into the madness that was slowly consuming her, drowning her in her own rage and fury. Though, to anyone else, the trails of blood, bodies, and limbs, may have looked like the crazed actions of a sick, twisted, insane killer... To her eyes, it was art, to be appreciated, not looked upon as something horrible. These people had not had a purpose anyway. None at all. They had simply been living on the edge of existence, barely living at all. Merely surviving. Most of them longed for death, in the furthest, deepest shadows of their mind. She was only giving them what they truly desired.
Blood dripped from her long blond hair down onto the ground, leaving blood splatters in the wake of her destruction as she passed from house to house. How very odd that she hadn't come across a child yet, not that she was wanting to. Some small part of her shuddered at the thought of a child seeing her like this, traumatizing a child in such a way. The small voice in the back of her mind that was the essence of all that was Phoenix McKenzie, begged and pleaded with the monster, the demon, that was currently controlling her to leave any children passed alone. The other conscience, very strong, and very much in control, only laughed at her useless pleading. None would be spared. None.
Nix! Nix stop! Please! This isnt you! Please. Stop. Your not a killer Nix. Your not a killer like this. Phoenix's crimson eyes darted to her left, taking in the image of Ali's small, petite and delicate looking form running towards her. Nix tried to struggle against whatever it was that controlled her, but the rage was too much to push aside, leaving her helpless to stop what happened next. She tried to warn Ali, but it was far, far too late. Ali grabbed a hold of her hand, and the Beast smiled viciously, baring teeth stained with blood. "You have no idea of what I am." Just at that moment, Ali's husband, Victor, ran up to stand beside Ali. Phoenix snarled viciously, her red eyes flashing angrily at the unwanted intrusion, her fangs bared at the two of them. Using her free hand, she curled her fingers into a fist and hit Ali in the jaw with all the force she had in her, which, considering she was a pissed off newborn who was drunk off of so much consumed blood, that was a considerable amount. Quick as a flash, she jumped up and hit Ali across the ribs in a round house kick that hit her with such force, it sent her flying into a wall.
Just as she had turned to Victor to take care of him, something hit her while she was off guard, sending her body skidding across the concrete road. Phoenix snarled and flipped her body so that she was on her back, but she was already being pinned before she could do anything more. She hissed her outrage as Rose's face registered to her. How had they all managed to get here so quickly?! And, more importantly, how had they known where to find her? And then, the memory swamped her, hearing the announcement over the intercom while leaving a message to Ali. She snarled, eyes flashing a fresh crimson, angry at herself for having called in the first place. She should have just not said a word and kept her mouth shut.
Listen to me. This isn’t you. Your angry, I get it. He hurt you, I get it. He’s still alive. Which means he hasn’t given up yet. Phoenix. He wouldn’t want to see you like this. I know what you’re feeling. Trust me, I’ve been through and done it to many a time. It’s not worth it. Phoenix snarled, trying to get her body out from under Rose's but there was no give. She snapped at her friend's fingers, so close to her mouth, but not close enough so her fangs could sink into marble skin. "You know NOTHING! He ABANDONED me! He let me believe that he was dead for all this time. He has been out for months! Sevanni had set him free as soon as I returned to the house months ago. And Sevanni told him where I would be, told him to come to me. And he NEVER CAME!" The anger in her burst through for a moment, before the demon took over again, and simply stared Rosey down, waiting on her moment to break loose.
Rose bent down and licked some of the blood off Nixie's cheek, and the demon in her rose full force to the surface, curious interest sparking within her. Like recognized like, and the Beast within her could tell that this vampire, Rose, had allowed herself to slip from her chain as well. A smile pulled across her lips. I wonder if he knows? Does dear Sevanni know that you’re here? Destroying his reputation? I thought he had control...I guess not. A slow shake of her head, smile widening. "Nope. Sevanni doesn't know a thing. He was asleep when I snuck out of the house and boarded the one way flight straight to Alaska."
She watched as Rose stood and walked over towards Victor, but her eyes darted towards Ali. She smiled, a idea suddenly hitting her. "Rose darling... Keep Victor busy for a little bit. I think that we need another person to join us in our fun..." She pushed herself up to a standing position in a matter of a millisecond, her crimson eyes landing on Ali.
"Ali... Sweetie... Won't you join us? It's so much more fun like this, so much more exhilarating. The blood tastes so much better when laced with adrenaline. Like a high I've never felt before... And here I thought that vampires weren't capable of becoming intoxicated." She shrugged her shoulders delicately, her blond hair, covered with blood, falling down her shoulders gently. She saw Ali get up and make a move to run to Victor's rescue, but Nix was faster, moving in front of her petite brunette friend, blocking her path to her husband. "I don't think so." She said, grabbing Ali by the throat and slamming her down into the concrete so hard that the ground actually shook with the force of the impact. A half second later, Phoenix's foot slammed into Ali's ribs again, once, twice.
She crouched down beside Ali, pinning her arms down above her head, using her knees so that Ali couldn't use her feet to move Nix off her, pressing down on her thighs with a bruising force. "Why fight it? I will make you let yourself go... Even if I have to beat it out of you. Come on, Ali. Things will go so much smoother for you, and for Vic. You want him to be kept safe? Do you? Just let yourself go, give yourself over to what's inside you, begging to get out. I know you hear it, I know you feel the pulse inside you, just itching to come out and play. I'll make Rose leave him be. Convince her that she would rather hunt fresh blood, rather than harm Victor. Come. You're hungry. I can smell it on you. You haven't allowed yourself to feed. Tsk, tsk. You should know better than to starve your other half. Let the Demon go hungry... And there will be retaliation." She watched Ali for a moment, her head cocked to one side slightly, waiting to see if there was a answer. Still, her friend looked back at her, a stubborn set to her jaw, still refusing to give in to the desires coursing through her body. Phoenix smiled, her red eyes flashing with menace. "No? Pity... Looks like I'll have to make you."
She picked Ali up by her hair, forcing her to stand along with her. "Why must you always" She let go of Ali's hair, and in nearly the same instant, kicked her in her face, so that blood covered her black anarchy shoes. Damn. She would have to replace those. "have to make things difficult on yourself?" Just as she was about to deliver another blow in what she had planned out to be a series, a small gasp caught the attention of her sensitive ears. She turned her head, a small, girlish laugh escaping her lips as she spotted the one thing she was sure would piss Ali off the most and push her over the ledge.
Quick as she could, Phoenix darted for the little girl, who couldn't have been more then 10. She stood behind the girl, holding her still easily with one arm, and crouching down so that her fangs were level with the child's neck. The little girl had dark brown hair that hung around her face in a ringlet of curls and honey colored eyes. Her face was diamond shaped, much like those of models on tv. She was very pretty, and smelled like pure innocence. Phoenix pressed her nose into the shaking child's hair, breathing in the intoxicating scent before looking back to Ali, a hungry look in her eyes. She moved the child's hair aside, her eyes staying on Ali as she scraped her fangs across the child's delicate throat. "Isn't she beautiful? And she smells... absolutely divine. She's pure innocence, untouched by knowledge of the world. She's scared, too. Her body trembles against mine... It's almost unbearable, the wait... Would you like a taste?" Nix asked, slowly beginning to sink her fangs into the child's cream colored skin.

"You have no idea of what I am."
Oh the pain was great. Why did it always seem to happen to her? She always came to try and help her friends and she got herself beaten in the end. And of course this would be no different. She had just enough time to realize Vic was there by her side. Her gaze went to him for only a second, but that second was one of her biggest mistakes. A mistake she would later on regret. Because when she looked back to Nix she got a fist to the jaw. And a newborns strength is harsh. She swore she heard a crack and she sucked in a breath of pain.
True to herself though she didnt make a peep of actual pain though. She never would show anyone she was in pain. It wasnt in her nature. But the punch wasnt the only thing in store for her. Within seconds of the punch she heard the swoosh of a kick coming her way. She had enough time to mentally swear and curse herself and then she was flying. Maybe she should take flying lessons? She sure had been doing a lot of that lately. The kick to the ribs she barely felt, now slamming into the wall was another event all together.
She slammed into it with such force that she heard a crumble and a crack. Somehow she had landed on her feet. But she grit her teeth and let out a small whimper as she slid from her standing position to a sitting one. Her hand went to her ribs and she winced. Oh yeah. She had some broken bones she would need to tend to later on. Opening her eyes she glanced over to where Nix was and then lowered her lids again, slumping more against the wall. She told herself that she just needed a minute. Just one minute for recovery. It had been a brick wall that she had slammed in to. But thankfully she hadnt gone through it.
Her eyes snapped open though as she heard the collision and was surprised to see Rose there. How had she gotten here so fast? She must have been staying here. Knowing Rose, that was more then likely it. Her hope rose that they could actually handle Nix. She was a newborn yes, but when outnumbered even a newborn could be taken down. And this killing needed to stop. It reminded her to much of her own killing. But she had killed so many more people then this small population of Alaska. And she was praying that they could stop Nix before she went somewhere bigger.
The hope she had been feeling earlier though disappeared in a puff of smoke as soon as she noticed Rose lick the blood from Nix's cheek. Her own demon had gotten her. Now they had to deal with two. Oh god they were so screwed. She had faced Rose before like this. It wasnt a pretty site. Not a pretty site at all. There was going to be more pain in her future. She always seemed to be a favorite target for people. Maybe it was because she was a gentle girl. Too gentle. She needed to put some iron into her. And thats what she planned to do after this trip. If she survived this trip.
"Rose darling... Keep Victor busy for a little bit. I think that we need another person to join us in our fun..."
Her breathing stopped at this as those crimson eyes fell on her. Oh no. She could almost see what the plan was. See that Nix was going to beat her own demon out of her. Try and get her to do things she would hate herself for. Her demon had been locked up for over seven years now. She had a good handle on it. She hadnt ever lost her temper enough to let it free. Sure she had a few black out moments, but she had been able to rein the beast in before she slaughtered. She had a bad feeling and it just got even worse when Nix's voice got closer to her.
But her attention was once again diverted. She heard Rose go after Vic and even heard the slam into the door of a house. She winced at that. He wouldnt have experienced this before. He didnt know what crazed vampires were like. And he had to see it happen through Rose and Nix. And it was very possible that Nix might be able to make her demon take over her. If that were the case she felt horrible for telling him. He could be safe at home right now. And she would be the only one in danger. It was natural instinct to go for him though and she jumped to her feet to try and flee to his side.
It was a stupid move seeing as Nix was there in seconds and grabbed her by the throat. Ali snarled at her, the demon already trying to protect her. Nix threw her down to the ground and she felt the impact even stronger then the wall. She was almost positive that the concrete would have an outline of her small form. Then her foot was back in her ribs. Not once, but twice. Oh god this was painful. How much more pain would she have to go through for this? Let me have a go. A demonic voice whispered. It had the undertone of Ali's sweet voice but it was more menace then anything else. The demon was curious.
"Why fight it? I will make you let yourself go... Even if I have to beat it out of you."
Oh how true those words were. Nix wasnt going to give up. She wasnt going to give in until she was the demon herself. But Ali knew that you had to royally piss her off. She was very good at holding her temper. The only reason the demon was even able to speak to her was because of the pure fact that she hadnt fed. She hadnt kept up her well fare. And that was her own damn fault. But she hadnt exactly been expecting her friends to try and beat the demon out of her. Try and get her to be the monster that she so hated and loathed.
"No? Pity... Looks like I'll have to make you."
At those words, her dark brown eyes widened and she had to admit she was terrified. She knew there was so much more Nix could do to her. But beating her wouldnt make her pissed off. It would only make her the more determined to get her old friend back. The one she knew wasnt the killer. That girl had to be in there somewhere. She had to be. Every vampire had a demon that they could give themselves over to, but not all of them had this struggle. It seemed to run in hers and Rose's family and it seemed Nix had let the cage go on hers. Anything could set you off. But in a way, she was glad it was her taking the beating. Because if Nix was so focused on her..there wasnt anymore killing going on.
"Why must you always"
Being dragged up by your hair was not fun. This wasnt the first time it had happened and she was somewhat used to it. Didnt mean it didnt hurt though. It hurt like hell. And she could only imagine what was in store for her at the end of this sentence.
"have to make things difficult on yourself?"
This time instead of a kick to the ribs like she had been expecting, she got a slam to the face. On the same side that the punch had been. She was going to be so sore later one it wasnt even funny. But the kick delivered and she gasped in pain, her control slipping away from her like sand through a broken glass. Her body seemed to hang there in midair for a few seconds before gravity took over and she fell to her knees, her hands reaching out in front of her to catch her in time before she fell face first into the ground.
Let me out Ali. You wont be in pain. Ill make them pay. Come on Ali sweetie. She shook her head slightly, relieved that another blow hadnt come for her. It was shocking really and she wondered why. But the demon was telling her sweet little dreams that could become reality if she just let that cage open. Let the lion loose. No. The demon snarled at her and she could feel the headache starting. The headache that told her she was in for a fight.
Her gaze snapped up though as she heard Nix starting to speak again. But her words didnt shock her as much as the image did. There was a little girl in her arms. Just a little girl. A girl that looked so sweet and innocent. Couldnt be more then ten years old. And that childs face..looked so familiar. And even though she knew it was dangerous she couldnt help but remember. Remember when she was fifteen. Fifteen, stupid and scared.
It had been a week after she had become a vampire. She was in Vegas at the time and she didnt know what to do. The demon had been whispering and singing sweet little lullabies. She didnt know better and she snapped. She couldnt take it. And the demon had fun. She went on the prowl and took down anyone in her path. No one was spared. Not a single person when she was done with that city. She had killed thousands. But the one memory that still haunted her to this day was what had happened after she had woken up from this rampage.
She had been in an alley way. Covered in blood from head to toe. And not her own blood. Crying had gotten her attention and she looked down to see a little girl in her arms. The girl had the same dark hair and honey colored eyes as the one Nix now held. But her own girl was only about six years old. Her throat had been mangled partly but she was still alive and crying for her mother. That tore her apart from the inside out. How could she do that? How? She had felt so bad that she had stayed there in that alley way and rocked and held that child until she took her last breath.
From that moment on she had sworn to never hurt anyone else. No matter what. Even if she hated them. Snapping back to the reality of what she was in, she felt the growl rumble in her throat before she actually heard it. It was horrid, and not like her. She was loosing her control. This was the final straw. Nix could beat her around but she wouldnt dare let her hurt a child. Not a child so innocent that she didnt deserve this.
Another snarl ripped through her lips and her beautiful dark eyes turned to that fierce crimson red. A red that was beautiful and lethal at the same time. Finally! Yes!!! She abrely heard the voice though and she pounced at Nix faster then she ever thought possible. One minute Nix had been holding that child and about to sink her fangs in and the next she was slammed by Ali and pinned under her. "Dont you dare!!!" She yelled at her, hate in her eyes. But then her body gave a small shudder and she rolled off of Nix.
The little girl had run off. But Ali didnt care at the moment. She no longer was Ali. The demonic laughing continued and her eyes flashed once with that spark of red. She growled and once, sat up, tilted her head, and licked the blood off of her lips. When her body shivered this time it was from pleasure. Getting to her feet she walked over to Nix and offered her hand. "Lets have some fun shall we?"

Shaden arrived in Alaska. Living with Sevanni, how could he not know what was going on? It had been easy enough to figure out after listening in on Sevanni and Marcus while he'd still been in his bedroom. Moving silently along the hall to stand just outside the door and listen in. He had been waiting for this moment. The moment when poor little Phoenix would be too overwhelmed. When she would learn something that would make her snap. Finally he had his chance to really get under her skin. To push her along in her anger. Make it worse. Hell, he might even join in on the killing too. The only problem were the others here, coming to stop her. As if she could be stopped. She was a young fledgling who had snapped. She wouldn't stop until she had her fill of blood and death.
Shaden knew this, maybe better then anyone else. He had his fair share of breakdowns when he'd first been turned, of course his reasons had been very different then Phoenix's. Shaden actually preferred to stay out of Alaska, but this was something he wouldn't miss for anything in the world. As soon as he walked out of the airport he could smell the blood. He smiled and took a deep breath of the delicious scent. "My goodness Phoenix, you certainly have been busy." He said to himself. Now it was time to go and observe. For a minute. Shaden would wait for the right moment before going to her.
While everyone would be working so hard on getting little Phoenix to stop. He'd be there laughing and enjoying the scene. Pushing her on like a little voice in her head. Already his eyes were darkening. Sea glass orbs turning into a storm of power, lust for blood, and the need to kill. He hadn't expected it to be this bad already. He was following the strong call of death, fear, and blood. Something he was more in-tune with then anything else in the world. The others wouldn't be happy about his reasons for being there. They would most likely try to stop him. Which only made things even better of course.
The thought of a good fight was a welcome comfort from everything else. He needed a chance to unlock his own inner demon for a change. It was hunger. The clawing feeling had begone already. His other half, the side he always kept hidden from everyone, clawing at his chest, trying to rip its way out and lash out and anyone and everything; but he wasn't some weak little fledgling. He could hold it in easily, an stay in control. However, he would let it out soon enough. Always waiting for the right moment. Surprisingly he learned a lot from Sevanni just by observing him.
It was amazing what all someone could learn when they simply took the time to sit back and observe the things going on around them. Shaden was learning more all the time, though he still felt the same. He wasn't changing or becoming someone knew like he had first feared would happen. The smell was getting so much stronger. He licked his lips, eyes darkened a little more. "Such a heavenly smell." Words moved from lips as if in a dream. He was getting much closer now. He stopped when he saw them all. He watched, like he told himself he would. He simply watched.
Oh Phoenix was completely lost. She was also beauty in her madness. Her crazy bloodlust state was rather interesting, and wonderful. Something to be helped along rather then stopped. Sevanni would come soon enough to stop all this, and it was such a shame. Sevanni should join, not ruin the fun. He would enjoy just as much as the rest of them. He knew he would, but he just didn't let himself let go like that. At least, Shaden had never seen him let his control go, but he imagined it was something to see. Far better then anything else he had ever witnessed.
His favorite part was where she ran for the little girl. He felt himself suddenly jerk forward, but had just barely caught himself and he stayed where he was. Shaden had use to feed on the young all the time. Though it hadn't actually been his idea or his choice. He'd had no choice. His makers had offered nothing else for him. It had been either drink and kill the little kids they brought him or starve. So it really wasn't his fault he sometimes had an urge to kill some poor little boy or girl, and it also explained why he never drank from a human that was much older then him.
Shaden forced his gaze from Phoenix and the little girl to look at Ali. There was a sudden change going on in her. He could see it through her eyes. He took a few steps forward. Had she finally been pushed over the edge too? If so then this truly was more prefect then he could have ever hoped for. He'd come expecting someone to fight him for pushing her anger further, but here was Ali, now lost to same madness, without control, no longer the same Ali here to help her friend.
He was close enough to hear her words as she offered her hand to Phoenix "Lets have some fun shall we?" Just the words he needed to hear. He took another step forward, and then darted in a blur of motion to where they stood. A sick, twisted grin was placed over his lips, showing a quick flash of perfect white teeth, and even more perfectly sharp fangs; ready for fun, ready to kill. His eyes shifted to Phoenix, "I said you would have made a better vampire then a mutt, and it looks as though I wasn't wrong in saying so."

It was a shame Marcus couldn't carry more than the weight of himself when he vanished and made it elsewhere in less amount of time it took for vampires to make it somewhere at a long distance. He could have sent him along to track Nixie and somehow get her to stop her actions from unfolding more than they had. But he didn't.
At the last minute PsiChi had managed to jump into the back of the car as if he had been ready to see some action and somehow be apart of it. He would have normally smiled, but it wasn't really the appropriate time to do so.
New York to Alaska. A long journey but they made it there once they took off. Apache's were always fun to ride in back when they first released them into the military. Sevanni had snagged one up through higher influences, but it was sectified from that very moment it left military grounds.
Alaska was so cold. Colder than his own flesh and he despised it. He was a man who liked warmth, heat and flames and burning embrals of flickers against his skin. This cold? This cold was the worst.
When they landed he couldn't stand the very sight of all the white. As if the land had been pure. It didn't take them long to make it to the site of the crimes committed both against man and immortals. He could breathe. It was like chewing New 5 gum. Seeing the air blow smoke in front of you without a lick of a cigarette or in his case, a cigar. It felt, somehow odd and wondered if that was what it felt like when his baby had to wear vix at night just to breathe when she was sick. Surely it had to.
There was traction of blood. As if a body had been carried away fro storage. Drops leading behind faded footprints over crisp white snow. The scenery was beautiful, but to remember what it once was, it made it a horrible place.
It seemed that everyone had showed up before him. How it was possible was beyond him. But then again, he did find out only hours ago, where it looked as if everyone else had already known. Marcus would gain punishment for this. Since it was their home, he should have been on top of security like he should have been. Then again, Sevanni shouldn't have left that room.
"Lets have some fun shall we?" Ali Shadings. How he didn't miss that face. Even though they had to play in the same sandbox didn't mean he had to like her. Though he held well wishes to her, seeing as how she traded in the weremutt Landon for a crisp fresh newly made Ambrose.
"No." Sevanni whispered out as snowy air left his lips. The tossle of bodies had made Sevanni grasp a hold of PsiChi and forge him to break up the little mess. How he could manage to witness Shaden there, even though there had been whispers about their dislike, why? Why was he there?"
"I said you would have made a better vampire then a mutt, and it looks as though I wasn't wrong in saying so." He blinked, even though his words were so far from his ear he had heard him say it. He shook his head, blocking out the sounds of Marcus calling his name out to see what he wanted to do.
Little footsteps trailed away from Phoenix's body, his eyes followed while he lay in a foggy thought. As if everything was slow moving and sounding. Muffled and hazy. And Nix. Stained and dirty with blond tendrils moving around her frame. A breath was given and the air seemed so much colder.
"Sevanni." Marcus called out to him before finally grabbing a hold of his coat and forcing him to wake up from the stupor. Why was he standing there like that? Frozen in some meditative state?
His lips felt blue, like they were going to crack. The roof tops had started to crackle and all the air had frozen still somehow with a chill.
Lids opened, looking up and in the direction that Marcus had turned him to for eyes to witness who had showed up. Standing behind Phoenix as if he had somehow managed to appear right behind her within his little blink. Then all he could hear were heartbeats. Fluttering sounds and simmering down until there was no more sound.

"I love it when their with me. These things we call women. In this case deadly women who loved to play like warm bodies swaying circular motions under the rainfall. I could watch them play all day and not think any differently than what they truly were; Miraculous creatures marked as vampires."
Jeremiah rose from the chair and leaned forward to whisper in their Wiccan circle, apparently they had the special talents of stealing mother nature and using their gifts to draw out elements within people. Like a sedative magnetic pull. Rest the soul and release the demon. Or in this case....demons.
"I smiled with teeth barred, letting them peek out as they looked at me cold and sensual. How I loved my wives. Curling around me and taking me to new heights. I wonder how they will last when I am gone."
Three bodies stood lined up on the far east of the village. Dresses made of thick fabric washing over the cold ground as green, blue, and brown eyes looked deviously onward. The scene was amazing. Blood spilled everywhere, bodies tumbling over one another while appealing appetites were summoned from within them. The only one they seemed distant from had been Shaden.
"I read about him. The ex and the current. Sevanni and his obsession. They were all obsessions, which could have been his downfall, now I could see it truly was. And why not? I would have done the same to my three darlings as any man would for the one they care about. But the girl. I could understand the girl far better than anything."
Phoenix stood there with a yearning to release more. It was a pity Jeremiah was going to have to steal her and not let her be the fourth. The girls had adored her for quite some time, which made them all the more anxious to summon forth the darkness from within. Let their demons roam free without a care in the world. It was always better when there were three. Blood sisters. Ali, Phoenix, and Rose. A wonderful combination that had been studied for months. It only needed a little careful planning.
Now here it was...
Jeremiah whispered something. The womens eyes still steadily focused on the scenes before them. Focusing as if that was the only thing that would keep them alive. Then they broke free.
"I could feel the air get cold. Colder than ice breathing on the back of your neck. A pathway clearing and letting him walk toward the blond marked as fresh meat. A newling that was unaware of the true meaning of things. I watched as Vie tucked her arms under Roses pits and grasped fingers together behind her back to restrain her from the males grasp. Sevanni's slave pushed sideways onto the ground from interference. Grabbing the males feet and sliding him at a far distance away from Rose and PsiChi."
It was a defensive move. After all, they didn't go there to fight. They went there to intimidate gruesome behavior and to take something that didn't belong to them. Or, someone. Jeremiah stood directly behind Phoenix, eyes drawn over Ali to somehow keep her silence with mystery and confusion.
"When my eyes looked up I knew he was there. Come to claim the one person who throughout the years had caused him havoc. A bastard who wasn't fit to replace the likes of me. His eyes met mine, but I was already staring into the eyes of Tor as she wrapped her arms around Ali and drew her back with quick speed to stand with the others. Laughing. Cackling with a high feverish tone. She's amused. She's always amused. It was then where he let his eyes fall over the male. Such handsome features, and I knew that at least Vie would give him a go round for round. She kept her focus on him. I could feel her cold stare."
Jeremiah moved arms around Nixie. The right around her waist, the left over her arm to keep it down against the side of her body. Letting his head rest against the left side of her own as he looked over at his brother across from him. Vie had crossed ground and swept Shaden up by his chest, pushing him against the building close by, but managed to push through wood and crack the wall. Making him land on his back as her long dark hair hung over the two. She giggled. Jeremiah could hear her from outside. "Don't worry.....You're not going to die...." His eyes lowered, lips parted as he let foggy air fall from lips, the sheer joy of winning an instigation was a reward enough.
"My wives protect me as I prepare. Licking my lips and closing my eyes. I don't feel a pulse, but I need to weaken her so I can carry her with me. She's an adamant one. Strong and filled with her desire." "Time to go." "I whisper, sinking these fangs into the side of Phoenix's neck, making her weak by intaking as much of her blood as possible. We will take our leave. Steal her away and and move among the village from him. Take her back to our place. But I have a sneaking suspicion we aren't going to make it that far."

“Listen to me. This isn’t you. Your angry, I get it. He hurt you, I get it. He’s still alive. Which means he hasn’t given up yet. Phoenix. He wouldn’t want to see you like this. I know what you’re feeling. Trust me, I’ve been through and done it to many a time. It’s not worth it.” "You know NOTHING! He ABANDONED me! He let me believe that he was dead for all this time. He has been out for months! Sevanni had set him free as soon as I returned to the house months ago. And Sevanni told him where I would be, told him to come to me. And he NEVER CAME!"It took him a while to understand what they were talking about, but he put the pieces together when he remembered back in the hospital when she told him about a husband she had that was dead... or she thought was dead... "Ali... Sweetie... Won't you join us? It's so much more fun like this, so much more exhilarating. The blood tastes so much better when laced with adrenaline. Like a high I've never felt before... And here I thought that vampires weren't capable of becoming intoxicated." He was listening to the entire conversation, but he knew what she was talking about, and he wasn’t about to let that happen. He focused his attention on Nixie, and somehow forgot to focus on the other demon… Rose… One moment he was on the ground, the next he was in the air, being held up by Rose, Ali running towards him only to be stopped by Nixie slamming her into the ground so hard he felt the shock in his body, and then went right through wall into a house. "I don't think so." It all happened so fast, and he wasn’t expecting any of it. He let his guard down. This was something he never did, and it angered him. He could feel his eyes turn red, but he wasn’t going to give in to his inner demon. As fast as any vampire could, he got up and ran toward Rose. She maybe Ali’s cousin, but crossed a very thin line, and that was make him leave Ali’s side. Once he reached her, he took a swing to the jaw, which, if connected, would turn her so that her back was to him. From there, he would kick the back of her knee, and wrap his arm around her neck. He didn’t want to hurt her, but he had no problems in doing so. If she struggled, he would break her neck. A lethal blow to a mortal, but to a Vampire, it would just knock them down until their healing abilities kicked in and gave her body the functions it needed. She would be up and at it again soon. His mind raced and wondered what happened to Ali. Where was she? He needed to find out, and fast. He hoped she wouldn’t dodge. If she did, it would leave him wide open and probably end in him getting killed. Not something he looked forward to, especially since he needed to make sure Ali was okay. He wasn’t amused by the conversation going on in the background while he was fighting Rose. He heard Ali lose it when Nixie was talking about something innocent and smelling sweet. He couldn’t imagine what it was until he heard Ali screaming “Don’t You Dare!!” he knew what had happened. Nixie snapped her, and out came the demon. “NO!!!” Regardless of what he was doing or what had happened, he had to make it to Ali. All costs! And at that moment, he lost all care and respect for whoever was in his way. Fuck his original plan. He was going all out. Fuck being gentle with her. He was going all out. He was going to break her shoulder blades, or her elbows, and probably a knee cap. He had to immobilize her soon and fast. This was no time to be playing around and caring about everyone that got in his way. His wife, life, and reason for living was about to make the biggest mistake of her life, and he wasn’t about to let that happen. But before he could break Rose, someone grabbed him and slid him through the snow. She dragged him away. “GET THE FUCK OFF OF ME!!” Then she threw him away from Rose. That solved one problem, but it also threw him away from Ali, and that was something he couldn't afford. He got up, grabbed his gear and ran towards Ali. Word Count: Too lazy to check… but it meets the requirements XD... but still WAY behind everyone else... Note: - Rose, I left it up to you whether or not you wanted to make the blows connect or not. It’s all arbitrary... Just be sure to tell me what hits and what doesn't.
- Sevanni, for PsiChi, I'm a little lost at what it is you are doing with him. I know we said he would come

Ali had snapped. Sevanni was here. Some other person was here. And a person with a coldness that resembled Sevanni’s was there. Three women were here. One of them, had her locked tightly, so that she couldn’t move. No matter how hard she struggled. She kicked, lashed, snarled, and tried to bite at, but it was useless. The struggle was useless. She didn’t drop herself completely, the fight and hatred still in her, but she wouldn’t let it be as fierce. It wouldn’t let her be as fierce. Seeing the hands move around Ali, the man move closer to Phoenix, made a loud rippling from her throat. How dare they touch them? How dare they even try? Eyes widened and full of blood, temper flared, body coiled ever so slightly. What was the meaning behind this? Why? Because of Phoenix? Because she was a vampire? Jealously rippled through her entire body, putting the fight back in her. No one ever wanted to kidnap her when she was a vampire. Nobody even cared to see if she was alive in the bloody mess of her family. Nobody. She shifted slightly, trying to loosen the grip.
Strong. Stronger than her. Stronger then she’d probably ever be. It made her even angrier. It made her hate her. She hated her, and didn’t know anything about her. “Let...me...go!” She growled, kicking and thrashing once more. And then she saw it. Saw that sick bastard bite Phoenix. A loud, piercing, curling scream came from her lips. Her thrashing as at the strongest now, this little wife would end up with bruises if Rose could help it. Nails flying in directions, trying to grasp something to cut. Feet kicking, trying to find something to kick. Mouth wide and open, looking for someone to bite. “Get your filthy hands off her you bastard!” The loose mouth, trying to find somebody to insult. This was her nature. She hated being ignored.
And then some ignorant man had the right to hit her. In her position, her head flew back, her eyes closed. This man had just pushed his luck, and his life. Seeing him try to knock her knees in, made her knees fly up, slamming him in the chest, still in the position of the woman. She would take that lighter out. She’d burn all three of them if he made her. They’d all burn in hell. Both of these people, had a missed a big understatement. They were naïve, and so stupid. They were what, several sizes larger then Rose? And they hadn’t calculated that into whatever they planned on doing to her? A low, and dark laugh came from Rose. Stupid children. Such fools. She brought her foot done on the wife’s foot, and took a jab at the twisted little face of hers with her elbow. Now would be the time, for the second understatement. Her flexibility. She sank low to the ground, a little painfully yanking her shoulders and arms out of the hold. She swore. She only relaxed for a moment, to massage her shoulders. She then turned to Vic, a sneer written on her face. “Didn’t anyone ever tell you not to hit a lady?” She said, took a few quick steps at him, and ran her fist into his core. She then moved and hit him vertically from the bottom of her jaw.
She wasn’t done yet.
She gripped her nails into his throat, breaching the skin. She wouldn’t tear out his throat yet, she’d just make him bleed. “I thought your mother taught you better.” She chuckled, and threw him out of the house, soaring over Phoenix and that man’s head, and into the building that was to the right of her. She went for the door, but found debris in the way. Doors, and boards. She frowned upon them, and kicked them out of her way. She walked out, not tripping once over anything that stood in her way. She growled, and wanted to run and rip his throat out. She took several steps to doing so, and those steps slowly turned into a trot.
-Sev, if you don't want Rose to not have gotten out of that..wifes..grip just lemme know and I'll edit. Same with you Vic

That was all he needed. A push in the right direction… Finally a fight. He had been unused and unneeded ever since that pest Victor captured him and sent him to Sevanni to become his slave. He hated the fact, but it had benefits its benefits. Sevanni was the man with everything, and for a person with six minds in one body, that was something they couldn’t give up. Despite hating the fact, he was a man that was Extremely High Maintenance, Sevanni was the man to offer him that maintenance.
’Focus Paien! This is no time to get caught up in what has happened and why it is happening!’ ‘You don’t think I know that Caden!’ ‘I suggest you leave the thinking till later and the arguing till never. Right now WE have to stop that female from dismembering Victor, or WE get the short end of the stick and get out asses kicked by Sevanni, no MOVE!’ ‘Yes your royal highness Ichabod.’ Ichabod let a soft growl echo through their minds, and that was the last word between them.
Paien raced towards the building until they saw Victor fly through it. He couldn’t help but laugh. This man was getting his ass kicked by a woman. He wasn’t sexist or anything, but wasn’t he suppose to be some sort of top notch fighter or something. And now he was suppose to save his sorry ass. Personally, he would love to leave him to the bitch who was kicking his sorry ass.
He grabbed Victor and pulled him up on his feet. “If you know what is good for you, you will grab your sorry ass and look for your precious wife.” The last words were said with a little venom and disdain because if it wasn’t for her, he would have been a free man. He pushed Victor hard and then turned to the woman. “Here Kitty Kitty Kitty. Come and play with the me… the cute little puppy.”
Oh how he was going to enjoy this…

He tried to speak but the air wouldn’t come out of his lungs. “I thought your mother taught you better.” Her nails dug deeper and deeper. He could tell what she wanted, but she smiled and tossed him out the house. Oh she was so going to get it. His patience with her was running low, and he really didn’t have time for this. She would hunt him and do anything to hurt him, he had to take care of HEY! “If you know what is good for you, you will grab your sorry ass and look for your precious wife.” What the hell? Why was he here? And why was HE helping him? He pushed him away and Victor ran for the hills towards Ali, still confused as to why that vampire was helping him… it made no… Wait… Nixie is here… Sevanni must probably be here to stop her… or to help her… He couldn’t really comprehend Sevanni, but it most probably was to stop her if that vampire was helping him with Rose.
Whatever the case maybe, he needed to go and check on Ali, and quickly. He was here for Nixie, but right now, he had to focus on something else besides Nixie.
This situation was getting way out of hand by the minute, and this was getting to the point the only people who wanted to HELP the situation were becoming outnumbered by the people who wanted to ESCALATE the horror and carnage that was going around. This needed to stop, and soon… if not, this was going to end up being a genocide, and regardless if they can’t die from normal conventions, he didn’t want to see Nixie or Ali hurt in anyway shape or form.
“Ali?! Ali?! Where are you?! Please! Talk to me!”
He did his best and followed her scent, it was hard with the smell of blood in the air, but it was Ali, and that scent stuck out more than any other scent.

Ali ran at her, just as Nixie's fangs barely scraped the child's skin, not even drawing blood yet, knocking her away from the child and pinning her. Dont you dare!!! Phoenix threw her head back and laughed, the snow soaking into the back of her shirt and jeans, though going unnoticed. "There now! That's better, Ali luff. Let it out." Her red eyes flashed with amusement, reflecting more of the demon within than Phoenix herself. She had accomplished what she wanted, and now, the fun could really begin. Her eyes watched Ali as she rolled off her, standing up to her feet, a small shudder running down the length of her body. When Ali turned back to her, her eyes were as red as Phoenix's. Phoenix grinned at Ali, her fangs bared as she took Ali's hand. Lets have some fun shall we?
Oh, those words were music to her ears. Nix nodded, her blond hair, stained with the blood of her kills, fell to frame her face in a bloody halo. "Let's." She looked over towards the noise in the building where Rose and Victor were, tilting her head slightly. "Sounds like Rosey is doing a number on your husband." She took a small step closer to the building, and called out to Rose. "Don't hurt him too badly darling. I don't think Ali wants to become a widow so soon after getting married."
Just as the words had left her lips, another scent came into their surroundings. Before she could process who it was, the scent's owner was standing right beside the two of them. She turned her eyes onto him, one eyebrow quirked in curiosity. Shaden Grace. What was he doing here? Last she had seen him was at the Ball. He had been taken under Sevanni's wing as well, and moved into the house, though they had avoided each other with great care. I said you would have made a better vampire then a mutt, and it looks as though I wasn't wrong in saying so. He said, his lips pulled back in the sadistic smirk that she was so familiar with. She had seen it often enough.
Her answering smile was equally sadistic, and she inclined her head to his opening statement in their fun little drama. "It appears so. So is that why you're here? To watch the show? Or are you going to join in with the rest of us?" She looked towards Ali, realizing that she probably wouldn't know who this man was. She took it upon herself to make introductions. "Ali, I would like you to meet one of the first vampires to have entered my life. Shaden Grace, the only one of the three vampires who killed my parents I've ever been able to track down. He's quite the hateful bitch." She said before turning her eyes back on him, smile still on her face. Though her words might have sounded harsh, she was quite amused that he would show up tonight, of all nights.
A small, almost childlike giggle left her lips as she looked and saw that Sevanni had arrived as well, in tow was his newest little pet Psi, the deranged vampire had quickly become an amusement to her in the house, having heard about his different personalities, and she had become curious. Marcus was there with him as well. Not so much of a amusement for her, since him and his woman creeped her the fuck out. She was about to call out to him, wondering what his thoughts were about her little scene, just the beginnings of what was to come, when something in his demeanor caught her off guard. He looked... Shocked? Frightened, possibly? But it couldn't have been of her...so what?
Her answer came soon enough, her attention diverted elsewhere. It happened so fast, simultaneously, hardly giving her time to react. The first to be attacked had been Rose. A woman coming up behind her, silent as a ghost, and pinning her so that Rose couldn't move her arms to swing a punch at the woman. The next had been Ali, pulled back by yet another woman, away from Phoenix's reach. Phoenix snarled, went to pivot on her heel to slam her foot into the woman's face for daring to touch Ali. Rose, Rose was too far away, and she knew for a fact that Rose could damn good and well handle herself. However, at the same time that Shaden had been grabbed up, someone came up from behind her, wrapping one arm tightly around her waist, and the other arm around hers, pinning her arms to her sides, effectively making sure that she couldn't swing at him.
"Get the fuck OFF OF ME!" Her voice came out in a shrill pitch, trying to pitch it high enough to hurt his sensitive ears as she thrashed, throwing her head back in a attempt to headbutt him, while at the same time, kicking back with her right leg, aiming for his shin with enough force to shatter to bone. Her crimson eyes flashed a bloody, murderous color. She was covered in blood, and had hoped that would make her harder to hold on to, but there was no give in this man's grip, and it was impossible for her to slip away from him.
Don't worry.....You're not going to die.... A male's voice whispered into her ear as she continued to try to loosen his grip on her, at least enough for her to free her arms. If she could do that, she would be alright. She was running off adrenaline pumped blood, which made her stronger than she would normally be. Also, she had a newborns strength, but that didn't seem to matter to this man, who had to be nothing more than a ancient. Only a ancient could have continued to restrain her while she was in this state.
Time to go. A small grunt of pain as he sunk his fangs into her skin and she felt the blood draining from her own body. She renewed her effort to free herself, though her attempts became steadily weaker as the stolen blood was pulled from her, feeding it into him as well. Where was everyone else? She knew that Shaden, Rose, Ali, and Vic had their own fights to take care of... But where was Sevanni, Marcus, and PsiChi? Were they standing there, watching this happen, or were they having their own battles? Was this part of Sevanni's plan, to get her back under control? To force her to stop her massacre, before the body count got too high? Somehow, she didn't think so.
Get your filthy hands off her you bastard! She could hear Rose yell at the mysterious man behind her. She hadn't even got a look at him yet, and she hadn't even caught his scent before, either when she was a lycan, or since then... Though, at the same time... It was vaguely familiar. No, not familiar... Similar to a scent that she knew, only she couldn't put her finger on just who's. She managed to turn her left hand around, her nails digging into his arm that held her waist, cutting long, deep slashes up his forearm with her nails, determined to put some sort of mark on him, a snarl of defiance as she continued to try and fight him, though her strength was that of a human child's now, if not weaker. As he started to pull her back in a slow retreat, a low growl ripped through her throat as she looked up, her eyes searching for Sevanni. "Sev! Where the fuck are you?!"
