I agree with Vienna. If you are going to use this, there will need to be rules for what constitutes a fatal bite
In Aduro's example, where the vamp gets away with his throat ripped out. While yes I can except the vamp would starve, I would have initially thought that the throat -- or not the lack there of -- containing two major arteries would have sped the wolf venom quicker. Since they're losing blood by the pint are they not also losing what capabilities they may have to fight the venom, since for a vampire blood is life.

Okay so let's drop the mortality thing. And as for the fatality - no need to make it complicated... Anything that a werewolf would do to kill a human they could also do to kill a vampire (rip out their throat, claw through their torso etc). Of course a vampire is faster and stronger than a human so it's not as easy.
Limb ripping and shit like that can induce massive bloodloss resulting in a comatose state but not death.

I like this idea. It gives the werewolves a better chance on the battle field. Because as it is right now, they really dont have much of a fighting chance. So Im all for it.

I honestly like the mortality idea... we would probably have to say how long the effect of the venom lasts though....
I just want to know if it's only the fangs or are the claws also poisonous...
If it is just the fangs, then okay, I'm cool with that. If it's both, that's a little too much.

well here's a thought. If you are planning on having a present day era then we can take things from movies like bullets with some type of fake sun ammo in them.
Also having your neck ripped open like in certain underworld movies seemed to kill the vampires in there, but it won't be an easy task for controlled characters. NPC"s should put up a fight but could be killed off unless help arrives.
Ripping off a limb won't truly kill a vampire, cause of their regeneration factors, but they have to feed very soon after their limb is ripped off to kick up the regeneration process.
I'm not sure on how graphic you want this site so I'll let you post a reply to this before I continue with certain ideas.
