Okies guys, so I have SO much to tell you! I've been updating quite a bit lately, here's what I've done:

FIRST!

Thanks to Sevanni, I've added a new code! This code enables you switch between characters while still logged into one account! Nifty, huh? You can all thank Sevanni, again. This is especially nifty if you have ten billion charries on here. So wanna know how it works?

READ THIS!

Now let me elaborate for you a bit. Your characters have to be ACTIVATED for this to work... I think. So stop moaning and groaning and go find your activation code that you shoved off to the side in cyber space so many years ago...

Now, by the TOP BOX, this means to just click that "Include as Alias" box you see under the log in. Also, make sure you have logged in "Forever" clicked.

ALSO! As I was experimenting with this code, I learned one thing that is probably the most important thing to remember about this code: Pick your charrie FIRST and then type your reply. If you type first and then switch, it won't let you. Oh, and you can switch charries in the qucik reply box and the "Post Reply" Page where you get all of your smilies and whatnot.

So I want all of you to go and give Sevanni a big hug and give her ten zillion "thank you's!" for this Christmas miracle in July.

We got rid of that due to complications ;] So don't go spack thinking it's not there and should be. -xoElls

Another update! I've added new sub-boards and therefore new places your charrie can go specifically! I have added mountains, beaches, and amusement parks. Now before you start calling me loopy for putting a beach in the middle of NYC, let me clarify.

I did this so you can go to a beach NEAREST to NYC. The same applies to the other seemingly misplaced sub-boards. Just thinking of you, my wittle members! So if you guys come up with any more places you want added to the boards, let me know and I shall indeed add them!

Okay everyone.
Anyone noticing the posting lengths being a bit... lame? Because some of them are. Sorry to say. So in order to rebuke this, the rules have been edited to say that every RP post must be at LEAST; BARE MINIMUM three paragraphs.

That's not a lot. You just need to use your brain when you're posting now! You're English teachers will be happy, I'm sure.
Posts can be easily filled up with 3 paragraphs just by using detail, describing you're settings, you're character's feelings and emotions and especially being specific with you're character's actions.

Easy peasy pumpkin squeasy.

Now, honestly, a two line 'paragraph' that just won't do. In speech obviously, but y'know if speech is separate let's not count it in the three, that's cheating.

So, please read over the rules once more to spot the slight changes.

In the raw period that this rule is in motion the staff will be giving out warnings, you get three per user, after that you're post start getting deleted.

Okay, so new update!
The application process has CHANGED.
Now you have a pretty form to follow, and no more of this "What's Delicious?", it's just password protected.
The password is found in the rules just the same as the answer to the question. This just saves us the trouble of having to edit profiles and remove the answer.
So anyone that has already applied, go skim the rules once more and be newly aquainted with that password! If you'd like to edit something or such.

*Members that have already used the old form do NOT need to redo their applications. This only goes for new members of after this post of updating is created!

Well, the skin changed like ...2 times after that xD but minorly :3

But this is basically to say that now there's a pretty little word counter in the side bar, USE IT.
It removes the discretion of 'paragraphs' and blah blah blah.
Just give me OVER 200 words, at LEAST.
So big paragraphs that are 2, totally okay.
Just do your best guys... it's not like, so fucking hard to get 200.

anywho's. the skin has obviosly changed to like; porn for RPG skins. Yeah.. it's sexay.
And I updated the Face Claims.. like BIG ASS update. I cannot recall how much I hate doing that xD But it must be done. I also cleaned out the face claims again. But I'm not going to bother posting the 'Now Free Celebs' because I was lazy this time. The now free celebs are not on the list, kaaaaay?!
Also, to any new members we've had these two PM's recently.. so just *consider* on them. Not that either one is a huge issue anymore, but I'm putting them here for reference anyways.

Posting Length has been raised to 300 words.

This isn't like the 200 was, 300 isn't BARE BARE minimum, and I won't warn you if you have like 324, that's a very good amount.  But this makes the question of someone posting 210 words obsolete.  If you go under 300, you can and will be warned.  Period.  If you have no 'muse' and are in a rush, than *don't post.*

I mean, I want to keep this all fun and games here, people, but you make it hard on yourselves.  Don't be an idiot, and come into the site not being able to post over around 200 words to save your life.  Really.

This PM isn't directed at any one person, it's a global PM sent to all members, and we've had posting length problems for a while now, raising the bar is the only way I can tackle it.

This new rule takes effect today.  If you are warned by either a admin or mod of your posting length more than three times then all of your under regulation posts after that point are left up to be deleted without notice.

Warnings only include the posts staff make in those threads, as we'll often put in our moderating colors, 'Watch posting length!' or something.  If you get warned via PM or Cbox methods... for whatever reason, it doesn't count to your over all 'warnings' that contribute as to when your posts get deleted.

We can also warn for negligence in spelling and excessive typos.  We won't warn you for confusing your your, you're's and there, their, they're's if it's just here and there.  But if you know, you're a total nit and don't know the difference between any of them and just throw them around at random... or typ liek thsi adn totly dont now hoao to speel or nawt rite typoos!1!11 .....we might say something.  Just use spell check, guys, and you'll be cool.

This shouldn't effect the majority, thankfully, but for a few they may want to take into account EVERYTHING you can put into a post.  Senses, thoughts, actions, speech.  It's more than enough, dears.

HELLOOOOOOOOOOO MEMBEEEEEEEEEEEERS!

It is I, your fearless leader, Fang! Here to confirm that your suspicions are, indeed, correct; this PM is on the topic of respect!

A lot of new members are joining up to partake in CK merriment. Since school let out for the summer, the number of members joining per day has doubled. This is to be expected, of course, as the same thing happened last summer. However, most older members will argue that the increase in new members this summer was far from the increase last summer. This is the truth.

HOWEVER what wasn't expected, was the lack of enthusiasm for these new members, and therefore lack of respectage.

Yes, I will say it again. Lack. Of. Respect.

Lack of respecteth. And Fangeth doesn't liketh.

Now CK has been around for almost three years. During these years, I've never had a problem with the meshing of new and old members. I'm a little disappointed, especially with my older members who I happen to know pretty well by now. I really did expect better from you.

SO this PM is to raise the awareness of respect and how it happens to be a rule in the infamous "The Rules", (sub-section "out of character", rule NUMERO UNO!).

If respect, or lack thereof, becomes a problem, then serious actions will be taken to ensure that rule is followed. But for now, a message such as this will be your warning, and will suffice for the time being.

I'm not just targeting old members to new members. The respect rule should be abided by everyone: new members to new members, new members to old members, and especially every member to the staff. We treat you guys well, and we expect the same in return. We don't like back sass, insubordinance, stubbornness, bitchiness, and so on. You will be banned if you do not respect the staff.

In addition, when it comes down to Ellie and myself, we both expect equal respect. You cannot disrespect one of us and get away with it.

To elaborate on this, Ellie is Han Solo to my Luke Skywalker, Commander Spock to my Captain Kirk, Sam to my Frodo, Harry Osborn to my Peter Parker, Robin to my Batman, Harley Quinn to my Joker, Mr. Gibbs to my Captain Jack Sparrow, Ron Weasley to my Harry Potter, Watson to my Sherlock, Costello to my Abbot, Pumba to my Timon, and so on and so forth.

Point is, we work very closely together. We're a dynamic duo, if you will. So when you disrespect one of us, you disrespect the both of us. So don't think you can get away with expecting sympathy from one if you've pissed off the other. You'll just be making the both of us very angry.

We are a happy, friendly RPG community. Members here should be a second family to you, considering you're posting, plotting, chatting, etc. with these people pretty much everyday.

So respect is a must! Don't forget that, and your stay here at CK will be highly enjoyable!

We figured we needed some help around here, what with accepting members and answering questions and the general upkeep.
So we picked our trusty member Ray to aid us as a Global Moderator!
You might know her better as Sombra or Dani, as those are her characters. But she's Ray in the c-box. She's in the staff club now, so that means what she says goes (so long as it's not a mutiny against I or Fang! jk). Respect her as such, and feel free to direct any concerns to her also.
