The night had fallen over the city, Tabitha had finally pulled herself out of bed about two hours ago, she'd showered, put on some makeup and one of her comfy outfits and finally headed out. Sure it was well past 10 o clock, but better late then never, right? The lights on the city, they were brilliant, but as of right now, Tabby couldn't really pay attention to them. Her eyes grazed over all the people, what the hell did they have to do out here? They were going to their job, or their home with their families, or shopping, or maybe some were going to fuck some hooker, who knows. She lifted the cigraette she had to her lips and took a long drag. The smoke slid out from her lips easily, her dark red lipstick marked the cigarette wrapper.
She looked about time square, still looking at all the faces of the humans she didn't know. She wondered how many were vampires, how many were wolves, and how many were just plain humans. A small smile passed by her, froma stranger. She simply stared at them until they kept on walking, their smile vanishing from their fleshy face. Her blue eyes locked on to a particular human, he was handsome, and she watched him walk across the street. He had the dark brown hair, nice big brown eyes, nice ass.
Then she rolled her eyes again, what was she doing down here? She took another drag from her cigarette, and then dropped it down on the sidewalk and placed her boot over it. Her blue eyes turend and then she didn't know what to do. She turned to look up at the large buildings, all the stores and the signs, big lights, for a big city. She smiled, finally, what else was she to do? She was in this city to have a little fun right? Why not?
Her boots turned and she began to walk down the sidewalk. What was she to do now? She was free, free from everyone. From her guilt, from her family, from her debt. It was all over, and now all she had to do was be herself. There was no pack she needed to follow, no mother or father, nohusband, or even a boyfriend. She could do, whatever she wanted. That's when she saw the nice little stores along the street, their window displays were nice. She smiled and stopped at one of the windows, it was a nice red jacket, buttons all the way down and a pair of nice black, high heel boots to go with it. Her eyes snapped down to the price tag and pursed her lips together, way to expensive for her budget. Well, she supposes, to have a budget she needed to have a job. She looked down at the large HELP WANTED sign right next to the door and just gave a small laugh, she would never be able to actually get a job.
She slid her aviators from her cleavage to on top of her head, squishing some of her curls down, but what did it matter? She was free. She kept thinking that over and over again, but it was the best thought she had ever had.
