Vienna was reading in her apartment, when the natural light hidden by shades seemed to filter out completely. Closing the book she put it on the mahogany table next to her elegant black leather chair and rose to peek past her curtains and see the setting sky. She smiled it was her turn to play outside now. She headed to her shower rinsing quickly, scrunching her hair into its naturally perfect curls as she dried off, and headed towards her closet. She opened her simple dresser and pulled out a blue tank top with white lace towards the top. She pulled on a layered black skirt, topping her outfit with a matching black jacket with a deep v-neck, cinched around her skinny waist by a belt. She chose a striped pair of leggings underneath her knee high boots and headed back to her bathroom. She applied simple makeup, the bare minimum as always, before heading out the door. As an old habit, she headed to the coffee store at the corner of her street. Ordering a black coffee she sat down at one of the new chic tables the store had organized to have maximum seating, without people being on top of each other. She crossed her legs under the table and took a sip of the searing coffee, the caffeine no longer had the same affect on her, but she found it a necessary part of her routine to start the day or rather night. The people here knew her well, even in New York a coffee shop rarely had business late at night, and what they had was never regular. The boy behind the counter shot her a smile, and she returned with the sweet, innocent smile she was famous for, regardless of the fact she was far from innocent. She knew not of her plans for the night, only that she would need a meal soon, and maybe a companion. Her life here was highly independent, as many New York girls were, but she had been raised as a social person, and the company of other people was something she missed from her former life, which ended nine years ago, when she was forced to move. She couldn’t remain around her friends, never aging and needing blood to satisfy her hunger. New York had been a dream of her life though, and moving on was easier than she had thought, the city was what she craved. Her busy life gave her purpose and happiness, a sanctuary from the past. Her coffee half gone she began to debate how to start her night. Generally she wandered or waited for someone or something to come to her, and guide her through the night, laying a path in front of her. She wasn’t a structured person, content to let the night sky and twinkling stars play a game with her, before she returned to her lonely apartment to wait out the stay of the sun. She's wearing this

It had been quite some time since Aduro had been away from home but this night was the entire reason he had come so far north after all. Apparently someone was quite interested in becoming what he was given the E-mail he had recieved a few weeks prior. It was quaint the way the supposed mortal had supplicated himself and made Aduro feel as if he were some great and mighty power. If only such a thing were true then perhaps Aduro wouldn't have had to pay such a mighty fee for a 'dead relative' to be shipped home. To say the coffin was cramped was quite the understatement and to have had to hide within it until he knew the sun had set had been quite bothersome to say the least.
I still have that kink in my shoulder too. Imagine, a vampire's greatest foe...a cramped muscle! I don't think I've ever flown this far for a meal...then again asian teenagers are supposed to be a delicacy so we shall see.
It was just as he was about to leave that a short stocky boy wandered into the coffee shop that had been set up as the designated meeting place. Some where public so no oddities occured and at night for obvious reasons. Apparently the boy lived near by given how estatic his contact was about not having to travel far for the meeting of an 'unlife' as Aduro had accurately coined it. Far be it from him to deny himself companionship in a life filled with nothing but death and blood. Everyone needed someone right? But could this human be trusted with the knowledge and power that would be imparted upon him was the true question...a question which would very soon have it's answer.
Rising from the back table where he had seated himself he rose his hand and allowed the black suit with it's intricate, and awkward, design to make itself visable. Blond hair falling about his bluish grey eyes he smiled a kind and welcoming smile as he played his part as well as he could. The human almost seeming to run over as a giant smile developed on his all too excited face. It was perfect. Aduro was in heaven...almost. It wouldn't be until the sanguine thirst in his gut was satiated that his night would be complete. Motioning for the human to sit he too took his seat but only after the human sat. Sitting with his back straight and his eyes piercing the humans he tweaked the human's mind ever so slightly filling his mind with the thought that any form of lying would be detected the moment the lie was uttered.
"So, Chester is it? Tell me why it is you wish for me to grace you with my gift? I do hope you understand that both of us could be killed simply for sitting here and talking upon the subject we are discussing. The gift you ask for is not one to be taken lightly under any circumstances. It means forsaking everything else in this world that means even an iota to you."
With shaky hands the mortal replied in a soft voice hoping to do naught but please the man he had spent several months speaking with through the internet. It was a tad bit unnerving to sit before a creature that could snap his neck as quickly as it would take Chester to breathe just once. Even as he sat here he had to wonder what the vampire was thinking, if anything at all. Chester had read all the stories and he had always had a vivid imagination so it was no surprise at all that he had dreamed of becoming a vampire since he was eight. Eight years of dreaming and wishing for this day and yet it all seemed so...wrong for some reason. The glint in the vampire's eyes, the way Aduro seemed to be as stiff as a bored and utterly relaxed at the same time, all of it sent a shiver down his spine.
Rising from the table Chester bit his lip and looked towards the door making sure he was in full view of atleast three different people. To lie to this creature would be death and yet Chester felt as if it was required of him to leave as quickly as he could before something happened that would be regretted...if it could be regretted. It all depended on if he could make it out of here alive.
"I'm sorry Mister Aduro, I really didn't think this through all the way. I need to umm...go now. My sister is supposed to be in bed right now and I need to make sure she is or my parents are going to kill me..."
It was at the last word that Aduro rose from his seat and smirked. Feet moving ever so slowly as if a predator was stalking prey. The distance between the two men closed.

As Vienna finished her coffee a boy walked in, who she assumed was slightly younger than her in appearance, but at once she could tell he was an ancient soul, an older vampire. He intrigued her and she watched quietly from her seat, being discreet in a way that only a practiced vampire could achieve, werewolves and humans were too caught up in themselves and their short lives to have patience. With him came an air of tension which only made her more interested in why he had come here tonight. Then another young boy walked in, an answer to her questions, and he was human. Vienna licked her lips and watched as the vampire ushered the boy to sit at a table next to him. His control only solidified her guess that he was much older than he appeared, she assumed he had a more than a lifetime of experience. Vienna wasn’t respectful, she listened in on people’s conversations, she interrupted them, and she did what she wanted. This night was no exception. Turning her head from them, she looked out the window, and leaned back in her chair so that the front legs lifted off the floor, the casual image of teenage ease. While her eyes blurred the city and people out the window, her ears focused intently on the conversation taking place behind her, and the sounds coming from them, nervous tapping of a foot, elbows hitting the table was easily recognizable.
As she heard the vampire speak her forehead wrinkled in frustration. He spoke with a Shakespearean elegance and she was having difficulties understanding the meanings of his words. She had to assume that the stocky boy wanted to be immortal like the only other two lounging in this room, but how did he know the other was? She wondered if the vampire had claimed he had some magical powers, if the human knew what he was getting himself into. She let her seat fall back to the ground, balancing her weight so it made no sound. She turned in her seat, getting up and gliding to the trash can to throw away her coffee cup, she was no longer in the mood for old human habits. She stared, hazel eyes piercing at the two boys her curiosity becoming undeniable. The boy seemed as surprised as her at the vampire and she smirked, humans were always getting in over their heads. She still did from time to time being 28, and appearing nine years younger. As she walked casually back to her seat, the boy seemed completely unnerved in the presence of the vampire, if only he knew two were in the room, and at least one of them was hungry.
Making a sound for the first time she snickered at the human excuse, alerting the two of her presence, when she had remained all but invisible before. The vampire had risen, a dangerous gleam in his eye. Vienna’s own light eyes darkened with emotion in them, she was passionately in love with danger, and did everything she could to cause it or be part of it. She was a fickle creature, but one thing remained constant in her life, her refusal to be indifferent, or to be a hero. She was a villain, one determined to assert it now.
“Is he a meal or were you planning to change him,” Vienna paused, raising her lip in disgust. “Please don’t tell me you’re going to let him run off, that’d be a waste of blood, one I don’t think I could let happen.” She licked her full lips yet again, keeping her attention mainly on the slim, blonde boy, but casting the occasional glance at the boy surely frightening him further with the pure intent to kill in a girl so fragile looking, so young and innocent. She smiled sweetly at him, and awaited a response from the other. Her hands found themselves clasped together, dangling from her body in front of her slim legs that pointed inward ever so slightly when they got to her toes, making her boots bend to their will. She was the picture of a wholesome innocence, a typical girl next door, except of course, for the fact she was looking for a meal, in this boy or somewhere else. The tone of her question ensured that she in no way wanted to ruin the other vampire’s fun, she would only stick her foot in further if he wasn’t planning on having any. Or maybe, after he finished his meal, he would accompany her on the quest of finding her own. She was a picky eater, generally having to find a human who she uncharacteristically took a disliking to, which this boy had raised from her in his want to become one of them, a complete monster. Vienna never wanted her life to turn this way, and she couldn’t understand the thought process of someone who would. Generally those found themselves becoming prey victimized others and she dished it back out, making them feel worse than they could ever hope to make a little girl like herself feel.

All the while Aduro felt the eyes of another upon him and the mortal. It was quaint to know that they were both being watched but the question that loomed in the vampires mind was simple and slightly distressing...though such a thing would never be known. His body remained still as he stood almost in the center of the coffee shop, chairs and tables and the nocturnal mortals of New York City surrounding him. The sounds of blood pumping through veins, veins just waiting to be tapped and bled dry.
Even as the blonde, aged and curious vampire stood before this all he knew first and foremost that he could not allow his little game to be interrupted. This would be his first child since arriving in this city days ago and the scent of his fear was far too alluring to allow escape. Rolling his eyes as a woman approached he had the strongest urge to perform a 'facepalm' as so many of his new 'online dinners' called it. Here he was about to start a game of cat and mouse on his terms and now there was a variable. Damn variables!
On the bright side of things however, the scent of fear only increased as the woman spoke. Such sultry tones, words that made his toes curl. She seemed so...innocent! Like a girl he had fed off of not but a month ago. So small. Auburn pigtails, pink dress, black shoes to match and the ripe and perfect age of eight. It had been a meal he would remember for years...until something better came along anyways.
Turning his attention to the one that had spoken he let a small half smile spread across his face. She was indeed the one that had been watching them and to know it was another of his kind relaxed him just enough for his wit and tongue to lock on to her. It wasn't intentional in anyway as his words were nothing more than a coping mechanism. Even after all these years he was clinging to human behaviors and sentiments.
"Darling, What I do with my ward is none of your concern. If I intend to walk him home and ensure his safety then that is my prerogative. If you feel as if the night calls to you and that you are bound by the same hunger I am bound by then I implore you to do as you wish...even if it means following my ward and I."
'Oh I do hope she is as intelligent as she is brash. If so she might prove to be quite the interesting companion. For this evening anyways.'
Looking to the mortal that he had wrapped an arm around Aduro chuckled and headed for the door with human in tow. Looking over his shoulder he allowed long dead eyes to meet those of the female he had spoken to hoping that the meaning behind his words was conveyed clearly enough. Pushing the door open he sighed happily as the cool night air hit his face.
"So Chester, where is it exactly that you live? I have decided that it would be wise for you to have an escort home as these streets are perilous at best. Oh and don't worry, my lady friend will see that we are both kept safe. If she chooses to do so that is."
With a slight nod the mortal known as Chester simply shuffled along in some kind of fear stricken shock. Quite laughable to say the least but it was making the smells of the boy all the sweeter to the creature that now held Chester exactly where he wanted him.

The reaction of her fellow vampire pleased Vienna as he turned to confront her, a small smile on his lips, letting her infer that he was enjoying a little game of his own. He seemed to know how she functioned, and she had to assume that he enjoyed scaring the wits out of frail humans the way she did, judging by his reaction, and the way he focused on the other young boy as he quivered in fear. The worse his nightmare became, the more pleasure it brought her. And the boy had brought it onto himself; one should know to never trust a vampire, especially if you’re a rather delectable treat.
As he spoke to her, his voice was enchanting, in a much different way than her own, but just as effective. This male had the perfect voice, low and soft, contained to the point where it had to make those he talked to itch with curiosity as to what his emotions were, behind that solid mask of a face. It was rare that she encountered other vampires with such a talent for the hunt, or more accurately the lure. Dragging any old soul into a dark alley and draining them was so cliché and boring. When you lived forever, playing with your food became a very satisfying way to pass the time. A light smile danced across her lips as she translated his words as an open invitation to follow him, her mind didn’t dwell on if it was in fact intended that way, it didn’t matter, she would’ve followed her instinct even if he had instead snarled and told her to fuck off. That may have even made it slightly more fun, but she didn’t mind his way of dealing with the situation arising either.
She met his eyes steadily as he led the human outdoors with a light chuckle and fell into place behind them, her walk almost a strut as she allowed her animalistic instincts to come into play. Her tactics may have been the oldest trick in the book, using her sensuality as an enchanting weapon, instilling fear as easily as admiration, but it was only the oldest trick in the book because when used properly it was deadly, and second to none. She laughed at the boy’s next comment.
“Consider me to be in your service boys, nobody will touch you as long as I’m here.” She purred her voice smooth and low. Now a bright smile lit her face, showing her white teeth, and she fell into step on the other side of the boy, not bothering to touch him. She seemed to draw others in better when she had no apparent physical interest, she assumed boys liked the chase and mystery, but she was never sure and she didn’t care to know all the technicalities of it. She rarely had interest in the boys she lured anyway, except for a meal, except in this case, where she was making another’s meal more alluring still. Vienna would find herself a meal the moment this was through with and hers would be much faster as it had been awhile since she last fed and she never did well running on empty. Watching the human between the two of them she was wondering if he would soon be paralyzed from fear, barely able to walk straight now and as far as Vienna was concerned things could get much, much worse for him. “I’m Vienna by the way.” She added in her sweet voice, the grin gone from her face, but the ends of her lips remained turned up playfully and expectantly.
((That's okay, I had no real muse until today anyway.))

Grinning from ear to ear as the voluptous, and intruiging, woman fell into step on the other side of his nearly paralyzed human companion Aduro couldn't help but feel as if this night was going to be far more intriguing then he ever thought possible. Already he had considered ditching the woman and darting off into the night alone with Chester but perhaps it was time to let down his guard and actually trust one of these undead succubus. They all used their bodies and their ample... assets to ensnare their prey but never the minds that had been honed to perfect predatory instincts after so many years.
Leading Chester down a darker alleyway Aduro looked to Vienna and nodded. It was quite a pleasure to meet one of his own kind after so long and after years and years of sleep and seclusion, he couldn't have asked for a better partner than her. She held a certain allure this one. From the way her hips swayed as she walked down to the very sound of her voice as if her words would hypnotize any that heard them. Enchanting indeed. More like toxic.
Blinking a few times in rapid succession at the disappearance of his ward, Aduro looked around and then allowed his eyes to fall to the curled form of Chester. Tears flowing freely down the boys face as he slowly but surely inched his way back towards the light. Sighing and shaking his head, whilst wondering how the boy had slipped free of him, Aduro walked to the teenager and stood before him baring any further advancement of the young and terrified Chester.
"My dearest Chester, just where do you think your running off to? Here I am giving you company on your walk home. Miss Vienna here accompanying us and giving us quite the intriguing....show, what with the way her hips sway and what not and here you are trying to run away. Tsk Tsk....I thought you had better manners then that."
Reaching down and hefting the large and terrified boy to his feet Aduro then threw him into an aluminum garbage can. The clanging seeming to go unnoticed by anyone in the street...then again given the distance that the three of them were from any sort of humanity it was clear to see why. The street that the coffee shop occupied was well over a hundred feet away so the sound of the garbage can clanging could have easily been a cat knocking the lid off. All too easy...
"Chester, I am sick and tired of your disrespecting your elders the way you have done recently. In light of such aggravation I am going to allow Miss Vienna here to have her way with you."
Walking over to the finely dressed and impressive woman he had just had the pleasure of being introduced to he scooped up her hand and placed a gentle kiss lightly upon the top of said hand. His eyes meeting hers for the briefest second. In that split second it seemed as if he conveyed so much...lust being the most apparent but was it for the blood of Chester the human or for the young lady? The anger in his eyes flashing followed by hunger then once again replaced by lust.
"Vienna, after you darling..."

Glancing at the two boys at the side of her Vienna almost couldn’t control the widening of her, but she managed to hide her emotions as always, letting out only what she wanted. But she was currently mystified, the human’s fear was not in any way a surprise to her, no it was the way the vampire accompanying her was currently eyeing her. At first she assumed he was disinterested in her as anything other than as an accomplice to the torture being placed on this boy, but the interest seemed to grow, Vienna had just assumed that her predatory actions would have no affect on the other predator in this little group, perhaps she had assumed wrong in this peculiar case.
She followed in the same manner as Chester was lead into the quiet, dark alley. His nod only further distracted her from the meal at hand, a confusion settling too easily upon her, as it always did. Vienna often underestimated herself, and overestimated those around her. She frustrated herself for over analyzing a situation when her instincts and initial feelings could be trusted without fail. Looking back at the fragile human, and taking her eyes off the ones scanning her so thoroughly she slid her tongue across her teeth, the motion hidden behind closed lips, but nonetheless encouraging her to focus on hunger before curiosity.
Her eyes followed as the boy weaved his way around her partner in crime and then felt his eyes being torn from her as he looked back towards the human attempting to escape from him. She let her eyes slide back to the vampire beside her, drinking in his appearance the way he did hers as she was confident in him returning the other boy to the alley rather quickly. She for the first time of the night took in his clothing, the structure of his face, and the frame of the rest of his body. He wasn’t half bad and Vienna wondered what would happen following this lush meal.
Her eyes slid closed as she concentrated solely on his voice as he spoke, able to pick up any movements by just her hearing as well. The smile on her lips from his first sentence was quickly replaced by the slightest blush coming on her cheeks at his next words. Apparently her second assumption was right in this case, the boy had been watching her use her body as a hook and it was more than likely she had hooked more than the human.
Opening her eyes once again she watched him as he threw the frightened human into a garbage can with ease and grace only the more talented vampires could achieve, with little to no focus. She clenched her jaw, willing herself to once again focus on a meal. Not only had he lured in a boy, but she was allowing herself to be interested too. This scene along with her lust for blood all too easily allowed herself to become attracted to more than a meal. Why was it that with a meal she always wanted more, generally she would pick out an attractive specimen, lead him to her place for the night, and let him die happy, leaving her completely satisfied. Maybe she wasn’t meant to hunt with a partner; it made her more vulnerable, when she liked to be in charge of the situation. Then again maybe she wouldn’t have to give up control because this boy seemed perfectly happy letting her have it. This time, she let her eyes widen slightly with question. He had set up this little meal for himself, and he was offering her a taste, when she had just been a rather intrusive and hungry third party. This was a new experience to her, one she was beginning to appreciate. She watched him turn away from the boy, and towards her.
If Vienna’s heart could beat, it would now be thundering in her long dead chest, letting her shock and true innocence show, luckily that little giveaway no longer existed. Now the only cues to her shock and appreciation was the way her lips parted, letting out a low exhale, and the hazy distracted look in her eyes, peering at the boy who seemed to be aggressive, yet a gentleman. The play of emotions in his eyes made her curious, was he angry at himself the way she was, for letting a meal and a self-satisfying night be lost, or something else? His hunger was easy to place, but his lust seemed to be in two places, as was hers. Her shock furthered as he offered the meal to her first, but she quickly turned away from him, almost rudely, in order to recollect herself. “Why thank you sir.” She managed to get out smoothly, still slightly star struck. Looking back at the frail human her confidence and plan returned. She closed the distance between herself and him, bending down only slightly to be at his level.
“Aw sweetie, I’m sorry we got a little distracted for a moment there, you are of course, the focus of this night.” She slowly and visibly licked her lips, batting her eyelashes slightly. Leaning closer she inhaled his scent and let out a cool exhale, letting her breath tickle his neck. She had all but forgotten at this point there was another watching her. She placed a tender kiss at the base of the boy’s neck and placed a small, strong hand on his shoulder before allowing her fangs to sink in and letting his sweet blood fill her mouth. She allowed herself only the briefest taste before remembering this boy wasn’t really meant for her. She stepped back and cast a wistful smile at the other boy behind her.
“He’s all yours.” She murmured quickly, gesturing to the pale, young boy, with a bleeding neck, but keeping her eyes instead on this interesting and unpredictable vampire at her side.

It was amazing to see how the female moved so hungrily to the boy. It was almost as if her hunger and desire to feed had taken over every inch of her body, as if it was the only thing that her mind could wrap itself around. All encompassing and controlling as the hunger could be it seemed as if this vampire had lost herself in it...a glorious sight to say the least. She was a face and name that would need remembering for she moved with a feline grace and drank like a beast feasting upon it's prey. There was no gentleness, there was no mercy and there was no restraint. A killer pure and simple.
Even as he looked on at the sight before him he couldn't help but feel a small amount of pity for the girl...she was focused on naught but feeding. Feeling the blood run over her tongue and fill her mouth before she swallowed. Biting his lip to prevent any of the caustic thoughts in his mind from slipping forth he had to curse himself for appearing so interested in a creature that had a very long way to go. Perhaps he could take this one under his wing for a bit and show her the beauty of what they were instead of just the lethality.
As she finished her feast and spoke to him he nodded slightly and moved forward with a grace that was inhuman to say the least. Every movement seemed softer...gentler as if he moved with fluid grace. His eyes locked on the the eyes of the petrified Chester. With a single shallow breath Aduro filled the mortals mind with bliss and the thoughts that no more pain would befall him. For as much of a predator as Aduro was he was not without mercy. To cause unnecessary pain was something that was simply cruel and torturous. With a strong grip upon the mortal's chin, as to fill the mortal with a sense of comfort or sense of control control any onlooker could only wonder, Aduro lowered his lips to the side of Chester's neck that Vienna had left unmarred.
Moments later, after Chester had gone limp, Aduro raised his head and pulled a handkerchief from his inside breast pocket. Wiping his now crimson lips clean of blood he turned and looked to his companion. His eyes calm and cold now that the blood has satiated his hunger. Alas, i9t was still going to be quite a long night as he was torn between beating the undead and merciless creature to a pulp and doing....other things to her. Even as his mind screamed at him to run and leave her to fend for herself he knew in his heart that if she continued to feed as she had just done things would only get worse for vampires as a whole.
"Ma Cherie, I would ask that you accompany me elsewhere. Your methodologies require a bit of refinement. We can't have you drawing too much unneeded attention after all."
With his hand still upon Chester's chin Aduro turned back to the mortal and pulled a switchblade from his pants pocket. It was quite plain but the use that the elder vampire had for it was just as plain. Eying the two bite marks upon Chester's neck he soon began to drag the knife slowly and meticulously across that very same neck until the puncture marks were all but hidden. The depth of the wound made by the knife was exactly the same as the bite marks making it appear that the overweight Asian had merely had his throat sliced open. The next step was to dig out Chester's wallet and empty it of what little money was in it followed by all forms of identification. Leaving the wallet at Chester's feet Aduro pocketed the identification and the money.
"Now...Let us depart before someone ambles along and finds our...friend. May his soul rest in peace and he find serenity and bliss in the arms of whatever God he worships."

Watching the man accompanying her move to the pray her mind was no longer on what unexpected events the night may bring, and no longer on a savage hunger. Disinterest was settling in, Vienna never being one of patience, unless of course, it involved playing with her food. She leaned up against the wall and watched on, her eyes only half open, her mouth letting out a small sigh, but she didn’t want to leave, still curious as to what plans this other one had. She could once again see the age of this vampire through his actions and she didn’t want that to befall her. When you had forever to live you needed to keep some excitement in your life and trivial human activities were never satisfying for her, not even when she was young. Being changed almost brought a relief to her; she found a way to keep herself focused and happy without injuring herself.
Her life up to this point was a violent one, finding a fight whether she was looking for it that particular night or not. She could blame her parents for not being around, not sharing the joy of life’s small moments with her, but she didn’t. It was her life and she was the one choosing how to live it. She chose to move out at an age where she couldn’t support herself and to fight with those who crossed her path. The one thing she remained proud of through her fighting was that it had never been for material reasons, not once did she rob a man or strip him of any dignity further than the shame of getting beat on by such a frail looking girl. Feeding cut down on her fighting significantly because it had always been solely for amusement, amusement that could now be found in other places as well.
Her eyes pierced the boy as he wiped off his lips and Vienna licked her still moist lips. She snickered at the indecision that was in his eyes, followed once again by something calmer, showing that he had made his choice. Apparently he hadn’t learned much about Vienna in this short bit of time. He wouldn’t be clam then, and he wouldn’t be trying to sweeten what he was now saying to her as her eyes darkened in a cold stare, focused on him.
She once again found her jaw clenched tight, but in anger this time. Watching in pure disgust as the vampire slit the boy’s throat, hiding what they were, and he was so calm, it made her frustrated with him for everything he seemed to stand for. “You’re the disgrace here.” She answered him, “You think you’re above the rest of us don’t you? Let me get this into your head now, you won’t change me.” All the sweetness had left her face, all the innocence a distant memory in a matter of seconds.
She smiled at him, at the idea that there was some need to leave before a cop showed up, or just another human, maybe thinking they were brave for wandering into an alley and finding a body, for confronting his killer. Then she could show him what a monster truly was; show him the power they held, not just the grace. She had been worse with those she had killed, ripping limbs off, inflicting pure torture just to watch them squirm.
“What if I don’t want to leave? How about I stay just to rip apart the next kid that comes along to watch him scream? And when I do leave, it won’t be with some asshole who wants to make me better, nicer because that’s not me.” She turned away from him and stalked to the end of the alleyway, standing in the moonlight, letting it reflect off the pale, smooth skin.
The fact was that Vienna had done plenty of improving in her short lifetime; normally the boy wouldn’t be left standing where he was, not in perfect condition certainly. Even if he was, Vienna wouldn’t have been so contained in her anger, not to the point where it just showed in her hard jaw, and cold eyes. Her fists would be balled at her sides, her whole frame shaking, instead of the almost leisurely stance she took now arms crossed against her chest, leaning on one leg more than the other. She was being merciful here, restraining herself from ripping the older vampire to shreds.

Aysel had thoroughly enjoyed the musical. The lights, the costumes, everything was magical. She rushed out of the theater before the end of the final scene; she didn't want to have to deal with her manager. Teresa had really done it this time! Oh that woman! She so pushy. I don't see why she wants me to move on; I make more than enough money for both of us as it is! I will not, will not, will not do "live on stage!" It lacks dignity, and at sixty-three I deserve my dignity! She kicked a crushed can down the sidewalk to vent a little of her frustration. She sighed and shook her head at herself; there was not really much she could do about the situation.
Although the woman was clever when it came to getting Aysel jobs, she was more than a little dense as to her client's preferences. She shrugged a bit and kept walking down the street, an adorable frown on her face while she thought. Maybe it would do her some good to be around normal people for something other than hunting, but the majority of modern people just rubber her the wrong way. Aysel was more than used to solitude anyway, when it came down to it. She decided to break her normal habit and eat something human, definitely at a local deli she'd heard of. Best of all, Teresa wouldn't know where to find her! She giggled at the thought and ignored the sounds the crowd around her made.
Jumping over a fire hydrant, she continued on her way; however, she missed the dog in her path and tripped over him. She hissed with impatience as she stood and saw the rip in her perfectly white stockings, as well as the scuffs on her new shiny black shoes with a silver tie detail at the ankle of each. She growled at the mutt and it ran of whimpering. She casually made her way to the deli and reached for the handle. So far, the only bad thing about being a lone "child" in New York is I can't reach a lot of things and need an "adult" to accompany me most places; worried about my manners? Nope; nor is it worry over my "safety;" they're just covering their own asses.
Some yelling reached her ears and distracted her from that particular train of thought. Curiosity about the cause of the argument made her follow the sounds to a nearby alleyway. She smiled to herself when a female nearly ran into her. Wiping invisible dirt from the pale blue skirt of her dress while the navy velvet top emphasized her luminescent skin, she fixed her expression to one a normal child might wear in such a situation, all innocence and shock; maybe a little scared too. Aysel looked up at the woman with pleading eyes resembling the "doe eye" look and began to speak. "Excuse me miss, but what ever the argument is over isn't worth yelling about. You interrupted my dinner with your racket," the scent of blood hit her and made her stomach mummer, almost as if collaborating her story. Forcing crocodile tears to the surface with ease, she began twirling a lock of her loose light brown hair and looked past the girl to the quiet male who felt quite a bit older than herself before returning her gaze to the female before her.Outfit:dress, shoesNotes and Stuff: Hope You don't mind me butting in!

To say that the older vampire was shocked would be quite the understatement. He was quite flabbergasted with the fire that the girl showed when he had challenged her skills and her way of life. Apparently she was quite set in her ways and loved the way she was. As precious as that was on an emotional level it still not quite up to par with what the aged creature was expecting of his kin. So many vampires had already given in to what society expected of them and what the stories said. Bloodthirsty, violent, vicious and cold. The four qualities that Aduro had worked so hard to control even within himself. A hundred years of meditation and sleep had had a strange effect on him.
Stepping back and placing his hands upon his chest as if offended he let a wry smile spread across his crimson stained lips. She was a masterpiece of a woman, from a Freudian aspect at least. Her body supple and lithe and damn near perfect and yet her mind seemed... deteriorated as if her change from human to vampire had left nothing left but the Beast.
The Beast. A term his creator had coined when it came to dealing with one's hunger. The driving force that took away a vampires self control and common sense until the hunger was satiated. It would be the beast that would become the undoing of all unless it was vanquished and it's damage undone. Yet, even as he stood here he knew that this dark and disgusting alleyway held neither the time nor the atmosphere for a lesson in theories or rhetoric. This....Vienna, would be his new interest. A new kind of vampire for him to learn from and study as he tried each and every night to become what she was not. Calm and in control of oneself to the highest degree.
"Vienna, I wish to beg your forgiveness. Your methodologies are to be expected in this day and age. An age when man feasting upon man is quite the norm and not something to be surprised over. Your ferocity mimics that of the humans and seeing as how you are a human....I cannot fault you for something that has been bred into you. We are of different times, you and I. I am of an age where one would court a lady and speak to her parents before any attempt to woo said lady was attempted. Given what I have seen of this modern world I can see that this custom no longer exists. I do deeply apologize for attempting to hold you to the standards of a time you have only ever maybe read about."
Turning as he heard another voice his fangs were bared immediately...until he realized that the potential threat was nothing more than a child. If you could call the stench of the thing that of a child. It reeked of blood and death in the same way that him and Vienna how did...as if this child were a creature of the night having just fed upon a fresh morsel. Who in God's name would have created a vampire so...young?! Disturbing as it was Aduro needed to remind himself that not everyone thought as he did. Age was, after all, just a number to most if not all.
Shaking his head he leaned against the wall and attempted to give his mind the time to process a night that would have scared him half to death had he been a younger vampire. Animalistic vampires, child vampires, a date from the internet and a good feeding. All four of these had their pros and cons yet even as his cold head rested against the warm brick he had to admit that none of this was expected. Clearing his throat he looked from child to woman and simply smiled.
"I will admit to both of you now. This time and Age is not my own and on this night alone I have learned many things that would have confounded the mind of my creator. I am not stuck in my ways however and as such I would implore you both to allow me a chance to get to know the both of you and the ways you both practice. As I said, this is neither my time nor my place and as such I find it imperative that I learn what I can. Stumbling about aimlessly in a world such as this could be quite detrimental to my wellbeing."

Vienna was fully aware of the fact that she was a complete asshole through and through, but even with that recognition, she wasn’t one to appreciate having it pointed out by those around her, especially if they barely knew her. As an addition to that, she was unbelievably stubborn and held true to the stereotype of a girl being able to hold a grudge forever. That ability however was rarely asserted, as she was forgiving in nature but her distrust made it quite a trivial thing because with or without forgiveness she would stay wary of those around her. Still upon realizing that she was about to hear an apology she kept her body rigid, preparing as any fragile girl would, for a stream of lies in order to be manipulated back onto the apologizer’s side.
Waiting for him to finish her eyes softened, relinquishing some of her glare, but she maintained her air of discontent. The way he spoke irked her, but then again if she were to accept his words she would need to realize the same applied to her dislike of his behavior, it wasn’t his fault that he couldn’t readily adapt to the times they were now in. It would be much easier if Vienna would give up her stubbornness for the remainder of the night and try to learn something more from him, or at least enjoy herself in the ways she knew how, other than picking fights. Even with the mood she was in, a smile broke across her face as he mentioned that when he was still young, he would have to talk to a girl’s family to hold her hand, let alone fuck her.
Walking back towards him as the child approached more of her mischievous self returned and she rested her hand on his shoulder, looking up at her older counterpart. "Well darling, there isn’t any reason for you to try and talk to my daddy to seduce me, go ahead and give the modern times a whirl."Vienna smiled, now a way to have fun without violence had presented itself. Well now I am capable of being civil when there’s a challenge involved, let’s see how well manipulation works on such an old vampire. Looking back towards the child and away from Aduro, Vienna let a crooked smile dance across herself and dropped any harshness from her face and body, once again playing the same innocent act as this child.
"We’re not stupid just to let you know, you can drop the act. Oh and by the way this is in fact New York, get used to screaming and much worse, louder sounds. Lose the curiosity too you’re going to get yourself hurt with that. " Vienna was quite amazing with children, but this wasn’t a child, in fact, with the girl’s act aside Vienna was most likely the child here. Not many vampires were younger than 28.
"Let me be the teacher tonight then, I know how things are these days perfectly and how you can be a good little boy. Rule Number One: stop apologizing. These days that’s seen as a weakness especially up here in New York, down South it might still be charming every once and awhile. " Vienna purred, turning back to the boy, so maybe taking control wouldn’t be as hard as it had briefly seemed. At the moment, the child was still of no interest to her and was being promptly ignored, she offered nothing unique, nothing for Vienna to take advantage of. New Yorker’s were a bit like sociopaths, they only looked out for themselves and pretended to care for others when it advantaged them. Taking the boy’s hand she began leading him out of the little alley. "I guess we can leave this alley together my little prodigy ," Vienna words continued to pour out in a smooth purr, "Let me show you what 2010 is like."

The innocent look dropped in a snap, and she grinned maliciously. The child was gone, only to be replaced by the being she had become. Learning to play a normal child had its advantages, but it grew boring when it was only creatures like herself. Aysel giggled at the woman's behavior and examined the body as the girl spoke to the male.
A hand waved absently in the male's direction when he spoke, indicating she was nothing spectacular. The male had old-fashioned manners, but he sounded like he'd be fun. Then again anything different would be fun by now. She waited until they were heading out of the alleyway before standing, wiping her bloody hands on a handkerchief and burning it as well as the body with one of the matches from her pocket. She danced happily in a circle around the fire; the smell of burning flesh was intoxicating to one who hadn't fed yet.
Like a striking snake, the young-looking child shot toward the other two and grabbed the male's other arm. She grinned in yet another way as she spoke. There wasn't really a way to tell if her words were sincere or sarcasm. Aysel had learned long ago how to keep a neutral tone when talking to "adults" and any who could or would be affronted at the least little inflection in her voice. A similar skill was used for accents to cover up her own southern drawl, which she let loose when she wanted to disguise the tone of her words, such as now.
My apologies, young lady; you still smell so fresh I mistook you for a mortal at first. Believe me, I meant no offense, but calling attention to yourself by remaining with the corpse while fighting is a very juvenile mistake. However, I would definitely find it fascinating to observe the two of you. I might even be able to use it in a role Teresa snags for me!
She giggles again at the thought of some of the characters she'd portrayed in the past. There was nothing her manager wouldn't do for money, and she nearly cackled at the thought of the distress the stupid woman would be in right about now. Her own fault really, since she did drag Aysel to New York. The child truly felt like skipping in this instant; tonight had been just wonderful, as well as the perfect set up for revenge. Her dignity did deserve some form of vengeance after all. Besides, she rarely got to have this kind of fun; normally she was stuck black mailing local males or nipping into fan girls, and it got extremely boring fast.Outfit:dress, shoesNotes and Stuff:...

Truly the elder vampire was taken by surprise by the words of the woman he had chosen as his companion for the evening. She spoke as if things were...nonchalant. As if manners and propriety didn't matter to her, though most of the world seemed this way. Perhaps the world truly was a different place in more ways than Aduro imagined. It all seemed so surreal as if he were trapped in a dream he wouldn't be able to wake from...that is if he wanted to wake from it. A land of intrigue and suspicion and danger. It was all far more than he was used to and given the kind nature of the woman one moment and her cutting tongue the next who was to say he was beyond it all. Even the young vampire before him seemed more than willing to rip his throat out if duly provoked.
Turning to the young girl that looked no more than 12 he had to give a slight chuckle. Yes, she would be a demon of a child to maintain but so long as it appeared that the both of them were speaking the same language things might not be so difficult. Even if Vienna had not caught it the slightest undertone of insult was picked up by Aduro and quickly made note of in a brain he felt may explode simply from the stimulation it had already received. Heaven forbid he had come to all of this before feeding!
"I know not your name but a wolf in sheep's clothing I sense in you. The appearance of purity personified yet within your gullet lies a beast that knows naught of being tamed. Your words would cut as deeply as your fangs were Vienna not a stronger woman than you. I fear she may possess assets you could only ever dream of procuring. "
His own words slung at the vampire child he hid a smirk as well as he could. Stepping forward without a sound, even upon the glass strewn ground beneath them, he placed a hand upon Vienna's cheek. She had told him to dispense with the pleasantries and so he did....to the best of his abilities of course. Taking her cold pale hand in his own he kissed the top of said hand ever so lightly letting his fangs scrape ever so lightly against the surface.
"Lady Vienna, you are a woman the likes of which I have never known. Your beauty surpasses that of all else I have ever gazed upon. To remain in your presence this eve would be a dream come true for one such as I. I accept your offer and look forward to learning from you whilst I teach you of my ways. It is a fair deal is it not?"
