The night was young, the moon just coming out from behind the clouds, showering the grounds with beams of light. Elyse pulled her black trench coat tighter about her, not completely for the sake of keeping warm, but more so for show. She was after all a vampire, and not many people, or other supernatural creatures for that matter, were very fond of her. She continued down the road, her red heels click clack-ing with every step. The night life in New Orleans was starting to come to alive. Elyse made her way down to one of her favorite places in the city, the French Quarter. The smell of alcohol and sex was already thick in the air. Elyse wove her way through the people walking down the street. A young man came out of the alley, approaching her. “Well hello gorgeous. May I assist you tonight?” His gait accented all the right parts of his body. The sway of his hips drew her eyes down his chest and to his groin. She looked back up him, seeing the muscle through the tightness of his t-shirt. If sex was what Elyse wanted, he was doing a good job of selling himself to her.
She looked back up to his handsome face, meeting his eyes. “Well, it seems you have a lot to offer someone.” Elyse’s red lips curled up into a smile, one that comes along with bad, mischievous, thoughts.
“Oh, I have a lot of skills I can offer someone like you.” The man took another step closer to her, reaching out, putting his hand on her cheek rubbing his thumb along it. “Why don’t you come back here with me and let me show you.”
"Well, alright. Lead the way.” The man smiled, grabbing her hand and pulled her back down the alley he came from. The shadows grew darker the farther back they went. About three quarters of the way down the alley, he opened a door. Inside was a small little furnished with barely anything more than a bed. The man turned to look at her, eyes lighting up with false desire. “Let’s have some fun.”
Elyse smiled at him, "Oh, I intend to.” He pulled her into his arms and kissed her. Elyse wrapped her arms around him, returning to kiss as he slowly backed them up to the bed. She fell back onto it, him on top of her. She nudged him gently, trying to tell him to roll over. He complied willingly, rolling over so Elyse was on top. She broke the kiss and smiled down at him. "Now the fun begins.” She leaned down and kissed his neck gently until she reached the area where the artery was in his neck. She could feel the heartbeat against her lips. She could not deny such a treat. Without warning, she bit down, fangs and all. The warm blood filled her mouth. She moaned as she swallowed the first mouthful. Elyse drank and drank until she could hold no more blood. Finally, she released his neck from her mouth. She licked the wound, to help it close so he wouldn’t lose anymore blood. The man was still alive, but if he lost much more blood, it would be a different story. She smiled down at her now unconscious meal. She threw a twenty on top of him and walked out the room, shutting the door behind her. The poor man would have no idea what happened to him. With a smile on her lips, she made her way back down and alley and towards her original destination.

Tabitha smelled blood. Her head lifted up from where she sat, and looked about the streets more carefully. The streets were slow and steady, in a less rushed part of New Orleans, and Tabby definatly smelled blood. She was seated at an iron table outside a small cafe, they were closed for the night, but it didn't mean she couldn't sit down and enjoy the nightlife. However, now her night was practically ruined, where ever there was blood there was trouble. She let out a small sigh, but didn't get up, she was comfortable and there was no signs of intimate danger just quite yet. Her blue eyes roamed the sidewalks and the doors, it was a somewhat faint smell, but still definatly there. Poor human she thought, even though she didn't know him.
Now to try and figure out who had done it, was it a vampire? Perhaps, this one was the most likely, but she was hoping it was not. Maybe a werewolf out on a blood lust? Could be, this one would be nice, considering she had been here for two days and had yet to see one of her own kind. Or, perhaps it was just a human, murderer, whatever. That one was a possiblity, but for some reason, Tabitha doubted it. So she pushed herself up from her comfy seat and made her way down the sidewalk, following the smell. She was really looking for a fight tonight, after all, she was on somewhat of a "vacation" of sorts. But that would just have to wait now, wouldn't it? Her hotel was just a few blocks down, well within running distance if it was the police or such, she had never really had much luck with them, no matter how much she bat her eyelashes.
But as she turned the corner, she foudn the main source of the smell, and she wrinkled her nose a little. Vampire. But all she did smell was human blood, the poor thing probably just needed something to eat, and that was how they got their meal. Now Tabby had the delight of pondering whether to go and talk to her or just meander on back to her cozy hotel room and have a nice long sleep. Her blue eyes stayed locked on the Vampire as she made her way out. what was Tabitha to do?
Finally, she decided on a nice little walk by chat, so she could do both. She would give a quick comment and if the bloodsucker followed her and continued the conversation, so be it. If not, oh well. It might be nice to talk to somebody anyways, although she could always just talk to a bellhop for that matter. But she was walking now, her blue heels clicking on the sidewalk as she passed the Vampire female up, she gave her a nice half-smile and said one thing she had always wished to say to a Vampire, "Nice night for a bite, huh?" She refused to giggle and instead turned her head back to the sidewalk, her half smile still there and her eyes sparkling, dying to laugh. But she contained herself, kept herself composed and merely waited to see if the bloodsucker would talk, which, she would never admit but, she hoped she would.
