OOC: Yes, William is now going to become hated by Vampires… =P Anymore then 2 people joining this thread, please follow the Posting order! And don’t kill William now. ~_^
The graveyard was extremely dark and the moonlight was clouded by thick smog of clouds that bellowed within the velvet sky, drifting along slowly in the cold night’s breeze. The tree’s didn’t show much life this evening, a soft bristle now and again as they swayed from the cold gusts of wind that beckoned down the narrow isles of this cemetery.
William’s body swayed gently, as he elegantly swerved his body around the large stone graves and tombs that littered the way in which he walked. His eyes were drifting over the graves slowly as he walked, looking for something? Indeed he was, fresh burials and talking of the devil, his eyes laid upon the soft turned up fertile dirt ahead of him – a fresh grave. It was hard to deter how long the grave had been fresh, but William knew a deadly plot if he saw one and this one was all too fresh, he could even smell the coffin’s essence still, odour of a true casket.
Suddenly dropping down a duffle bag, he straightened his black shirt somewhat, before rolling up the sleeves slowly, keeping his peculiar hazel eyes upon the burial plot, which began to softly tremble. “Just on time…” William muttered to himself, as he knelt down to reach inside the dark leather bag, grabbing something heavy, which happened to be a small container of petrol – he wasn’t really in the mood to start tackling these fiends, it was best to deal with them as soon as possible. Standing nearer to the fresh grave, he watched as a hand pushed out of the dirt, before dragging their head up to cough against the dirt… The vampire looked a little dazed “W-W-Who’re you?” the vampire said, unknown to what he was. “Shh, go back to sleep” William said quietly, as he tilted the can to begin pouring the stagnant stench of petrol over the head of this young male.
The boy squirmed, growling as he bared his fangs, trying to get out of the dirt that locked his body down, whilst William slowly and casually flinted a light on his lighter and tossed it down into the puddle of muck. Flames curled up and engulfed the vampire’s head, hollering with a crimson scream, as he finally got out of the dirt to struggle one last time against the flames, before the body fell lifelessly, combusting into ash and dust as the flames coiled around its body to kill.

The smell of burning flesh drifted across the graves as Layla walked through the glowing headstones. At first she just shook off the smell, it was not something that you grew used to, but it was easier to ignore than to get involved. That was how Layla had survived as many years as she had, by not getting involved in things that were not her business.
The teenage girl that Layla was leading by the hand struggle as her human nose picked up the smell. She started to fight against the mental hold that Layla held over her. Heaving a heavy sigh, Layla paused in her walk through the cemetery. Turning to face the girl, "I guess we are far enough in." Fisting her hand into the girl's hair, Layla pulled lightly and exposed the white flesh. Sinking her fangs into the vulnerable skin, the vampire drank deep and let the limp body slip from her arms.
Wiping any stray blood off with the back of her hand, Layla rolled her neck and gave her heartbeat time to slow to a more calm pace. The new blood raced through her veins, infusing her with energy and power. Glancing down at the girl, Layla smiled slightly. "You are already where you needed to go." With a glance farther into the graveyard, "and now let's see what is going on in here."
Layla walked between tombstones, silent as she passed the quiet graves. The closer she got to the stench, the more she wanted to walk in the other direction. As she neared the spot where the burnt flesh originated, Layla was shocked to see one of her own kind standing over the burning vampire. And even more amazed when she realized that it was William. "William, what is going on here? What is the meaning of this?" Layla waited for his explanation before she assumed it on her own.

William’s eyes glistened as he watched the flames coil and dance around the rotten body of the vampire, breaking into ashes and musk quite quickly – which was rather strange, human bodies usually took a while to burn and break away, from experience anyhow. He’d never burnt another vampire before; maybe their bodies weren’t as strong as he first thought? Immortal creatures of the night, with bodies that seemed to deflate real fast to fire, who would of guessed that…
A small grin broke on William’s lips as he glared down upon the burning carcass, almost Deteriorated to complete ash and dust – a sense of accomplishment inside him awakening, knowing that the victims of this ruthless killer to be, had been spared. His fingers coiled up around the handle of the petrol can, about to turn and put it back into the leather duffle bag, until someone said something? His name!? Those slur of words that made him cringe inside, not many people knew whom he was, and William wasn’t one for socialising.
His posture got stern and his chest tightened, a twist to his feet beckoning outwards as he almost spun to the direction of that pleasant, yet mysterious voice. His hazel eyes gleamed as he stared upon someone who knew him, but they looked very unfamiliar to him. “Who’re you…?” William said timid, yet firmly, with the brush of his tongue. It didn’t take a scientist to know she was a vampire, that crimson pale flesh and beautiful tinges to her features, eternal beauty and youth. “How’d you know my name?” William also said curiously, firm grit taking to his teeth on the inside of his moist mouth, keeping his distance and awareness of her.
As he awaited for her answers, before he even pondered on giving any of his own, he slowly dragged his feet backwards, taking a step back – just enough for him to lean down and hoist the duffle bag up into his grip, as if making sure he was prepared for any onslaught and assault this female vampire may give, to stop William from doing what he was doing… Murdering his own kind… A pot lucky shot at redemption, let’s face it, if there’s a hell; no doubt there was a heaven.

((hope you don't mind if I jump in))
Kai could smell one of her coven in the graveyard, and the burning flesh that came along with it. Kai, curious, followed her nose to where the vampires stood, she came up slightly behind the man, who she now recognized as William. And that burning flesh, Kai almost threw up. There was vampire, burned vampire, and he was there no more.
Oh my god. Kai thought, uncharacteristically. What has he done?
Kai took a deep breath. "William." Kai said quietly, she noticed the petrol can. Kai was putting the pieces together, with growing disgust. "Why?" Was all Kai could manage to get out. She was completely horrified, Kai really didn't want her asumptions to be right. But she was afraid they were.
Kai looked over at Layla, gaging the woman's expression. Kai had all her normal daggers stashed on her person. She hoped that she wasn't going to have to use them. But if William was really trying to do what Kai thought he was, then she wasn't afraid of using them. Kai was only hoping that Layla was ready to do the same. The older vampire should know that if fighting their own kind was necessary, then that was how it was going to be.

Layla stood shocked in the graveyard. All she could do was stare as the vampire before her faded to almost dust. How could one of her own kind do this to another vampire? It was unspeakable, unthinkable even. As she stood there contemplating what to do with the vampire that now stood before her, she noticed that there was another vampire in the area. Kai was here, the leader of her coven. Layla almost heaved a sigh of relief as the female approached. Sparing Kai a quick glance, Layla communicated her disgust and anger in that one look. She had no weapons on her body, but after 900 years she had learned how to protect herself. Layla noticed the same look on Kai's face, the willingness to take down one of their own to protect the whole.
Facing the murderer Layla decided to answer his questions, maybe to give Kai and herself time to figure out the situation. "I am Layla. I have seen you before, around." She looked back at the burnt remains and had to pause in her answers. "I am older than you are, believe me when I say that I know you, at least a little." It was true after all. She did not know him personally, but she knew his name and his face. After all these years, she made a point of learning the stronger vampires in her area.
"Why did you do this William? What is the meaning?" She heard Kai echo the same question, they both stood waiting, ready to do what was necessary to take care of William. With her age and Kai's willingness. They stood poised, both waiting on the balls of their feet, just hanging on the words that William would use to explain the situation, those words made all the difference.

William’s eyes glared upon Layla who made herself known in the midst of this graveyard, a slight tingly sensation taking to his skin as he felt the gaze of another presence creep up behind him, a soft shudder running down his spine as Kai slowly stepped forwards, questioning the same slur of words – did these vampires have an echo to their gullets? Typical, a youngster and an more experienced woman, vampire(ss) before him, who seemed to know a great deal about him?
Both the vampires seemed to be judging him, in this court of ‘graves’ – which brought a smile to his face, reminiscing back to his human days, when his commanding officer had him flogged to the whip before the company of men he served in, Wellington’s army, over petty theft – a crime he didn’t even commit, to start with.
“Kai…” William quietly said, saying her name to make sure it was actually her, the little feisty vampire who had fire in her belly and that gleam to her eyes, but then the other female vampire spoke, finally answering his question or two. That strange grin broke on William’s lips again, something that deterred his madness and his excitement into one bubble, unstable vampire perhaps? Or a vampire on a new streak?
“Layla…” he said shortly after, like her name rung a bell or two in his head, but she didn’t look familiar. His body gently swayed as he dropped the leather duffle bag onto a nearby gravestone, glancing to them both vaguely, with the corner of his eyes. “Its strange, a vampire only cries once, maybe twice in the whole of their lifetime… And then, when you experience that moment – you’d understand the method to my madness” his words seemed like, bit of a riddle? But it was true, William wasn’t like the others anymore, he couldn’t hunt without feeling guilty, he craved warmth and wanted something only mortals could have… In short terms his own kind had turned their back on him, he didn’t fit in anymore.
His body tensed a little against the soft fabric of his black shirt, biting his bottom lip slightly to turn and face the two female vampires, either side of him roughly. He wasn’t asking for a fight, but he knew they wouldn’t allow him to continue this. A vampire aged over two hundred years old, suddenly had some sort of break through? What on hell had changed in his mind – only William would know. His head slanted to look at Layla for a moment, gazing over her ripe crimson lips to chirp a slight laugh in amusement “You’ve fed? Blimey Love, you question my killing, when your belly is full off innocent blood…”

Kai tensed, her hand itched to cause damage, but she had more control than that, Kai would not let her insane side take over reason. Kai was glad that Layla started asking questions, she needed time to get a hold of the situation. When William said her name, Kai blinked, not believing that she had once respected him. "Yes." Kai said quietly.
“Its strange, a vampire only cries once, maybe twice in the whole of their lifetime… And then, when you experience that moment – you’d understand the method to my madness”
Kai could not believe what she was hearing."I would understand?" Kai shook her head. "You're not human anymore, William. I know that guilt that singes your inside. It makes you do things that you would have never thought of doing before. Kai closed her eyes momentarily and sighed. "But I can't, and will never totally understand. You killed a newborn. You killed one of our kin." Kai's eyes narrowed as she got a whiff of the burnt dead flesh. "That is beyond madness. Beyond forgiveness." Kai sighed. Vampires were all together very insane, but William's latest action had completly flown the coop.
