Accepted,
Name : Jack Audley
Where do you live: Paris
Age: 21
Current Age: 30
History:
Born Jack Beumont, his poor family never wanted a child. It was an 'another mouth to feed type of thing. They left the baby with foster care. He grew up a respectable gentleman, never with even five dollars in his pocket. The goal he set for himself when he was just a boy was to be a rich man. Unfortunately all he could do was work for a rich lady. The lovely Giselle Audley hired him herself to be her personal servant. Jack always felt she had a soft spot for him. He couldn't show his own affection, however. Rich and poor just didn't go right together, like oil and vinegar. He would never have her status, but it was for this reason that he actually loved her. "Fake love" if you will. You always want what you don't have.
He and Giselle were both 21 when something very strange happened. His master gave him the night off, she went out to a pub just so she could flash her new real ID around and drink freely. The next morning, he got up early to go tend to her as usual. It was at this time she was usually sleeping, but instead he caught her on the computer googling information on vampires. He didn't enter the room or make it known that he'd seen her. Ever since that night she spent at the pub, Jack noticed an obsessive trend in her new schedules and daily routines. She'd simply stay locked away in her room on that computer. He didn't question her, for he was just a servant, but he did worry about her. His money didn't call for his assistance like she normally did.
Then there was one night when Giselle never came home. He stayed up and paced the darkness away and through to the next morning. When the night returned, he was about to go look for her when he heard her voice echoing up from the main hall. Sneaking around through the ventilation system, he found his master talking with her parents, but something was... off. Jack had her features down to the smallest beauty mark on her cheek. Her skin was unnaturally pale and when she spoke were those... fangs? Needless to say he was freaked out. Finally, it all made sense to him when she stuck her fangs up her dad's neck and he was dead before he hit the floor. Her mom was obviously next, she was dead just as fast. Giselle was a vampire. He didn't believe it, he didn't want to, but he just watched her drink her adopted parent's blood.
He kept his head low and did everything she asked him to for the following weeks. He had something to fear now, he was watching money burn right before his eyes and was aware that he would remain poor for the rest of his life. He witnessed the entire staff of the mansion being picked off one by one, he waited for his turn to come but he was left for last. The dreaded day came when Giselle called him up to her library and the following awkward conversation took place:
Jack tentatively stepped around the door, Giselle was sitting at her polished desk, looking as beautiful as ever. He marveled at the way her skin seemed to glow. He didn't want to die, but he didn't want to run either. His life was over the minute he realized she'd been changed. All hopes of her seduction faded and he would stay poor for the rest of his life. He'd rather die.
Jack sank into a bow, "Yes, Miss Audley?" the vampire was silent, he could feel her eyes on him.
"You are probably wondering what happened to the rest of the staff," she began. Jack nodded. More silence. "They're dead," she continued.
"I know," he said quietly. The clock on the wall agonizingly ticked his seconds of life away.
"I murdered them," she said lightly.
"I... know," he said miserably. "You're a vampire," he accused. He heard the sharp intake of breath, but didn't raise his eyes.
"Look at me," she commanded, and he did. Giselle was smiling, fangs and all, it was almost blinding to see. Reflexively, Jack took a few steps back. "How long?" her voice was dark.
"I watched you kill your parents." She seemed to be thinking something over now, her lovely lips curled into a smile. "You are going to kill me now?" he whispered, wide eyed.
"No," she stated flatly. She moved quickly, her actions felt like one fluid movement. She was behind him, he felt a searing wham when her fist collided with the back of his head, blackness, and then the worst pain he ever felt in his life.
Jack was very confused when he woke up in Giselle's bedroom. She was crouched over him, her expression confused as well. She said something along the lines of "I did it right?" and then her lips were crushing his. After she pulled away, she explained to him that he was just like her. He was immortal. Frantically, Jack pushed a hand to his chest but he could feel no heart beat. She spoke the truth.
He didn't know why. She told him straight out that she loved him ever since she hired him. She wanted to spend her immortal life with him. They were married the next day and the two vampires gave Paris something to fear. She was a monster, she murdered for fun and he did, too. He had her money, he had his title, but he didn't want to share it. He concocted a terrible scheme.
Giselle loved him. She was crazy about him. If he left her, she'd be devastated... maybe devastated enough to kill herself, or at least that's what he was hoping. He left her. He took her money, or at least 3/4's of it anyway, just in case... He watched from a distance when she starved herself in in the woods. He was sure this would be her end. But she wasn't the girl he thought she was. She just up and massacred a small town. Cursing her out, he left Paris with what he stole. He went to the States and became a high roller in many casinos across the country. All he wanted was money, now. Giselle didn't exist to him anymore.
Personality: After his experiences in the Audley mansion, he learned that patience is a virtue. He's frivolous with money and will spend it all in one place. He likes to use people to get their possessions, and then betray them or just off them.
