PERSONALITY OVERVIEW• Like a lot of females, Dylan has the ability to be either super sugary sweet or a complete and total bitch...and all the possibilities in between. Most of the time, Dylan guards herself hard. She has a tendency to keep people at arm’s length and she does that by being a little bit bitchy, a little bit snooty. She acts like she believes she's above the rest of you in the hopes that you'll believe it too. Well, that's part of it, the rest of it is just that that's her personality. She's caustic and sarcastic, but she can be your greatest friend if you get past all that.
She has a lot of fears and even more insecurities but those are far outweighed by her strengths, she need only be immersed in a language for about a week before she picks up enough of it that she can easily hold conversations. She can sing like an angel(though she rarely reveals this talent), has the hands of a true artist, and can whip up the best tasting food you can ever imagine(too bad she doesn’t need to eat anymore). The only people she easily lets near her are her brother and whoever is to become dinner that night. Dylan Jaye Way is a complicated woman, but that's a beautiful thing.

Dylan Jaye Way and Mitchell Way were born in London, England in 1927. They were fraternal twins, leaving their parents ecstatic that both had survived the birth. DJ and Mitchell were raised in a very happy home, their lives were good but as happens in a lot of cases what one twin got in abundance the other twin was deprived of. Mitchell got charisma and courage, DJ got artistic talent and a serious confidence complex. She was a shy child all throughout their adolescence while Mitchell was out there making friends and kissing girls, DJ was sitting in the background laughing at her brother’s antic’s and wishing she could be like him. The two of them really were like two halves of a whole, even though they weren’t identical, and many people noticed that fact.
Dylan had troubles throughout her schooling, it was the 30’s and 40’s when she was of schooling age and she was taught at home by her mother. But DJ had gotten a hunger for knowledge, she wanted to know everything in the world and she discovered with help from her mother that she had a real talent with languages. Before she was 20 years old she was fluent in French, English, and German. She picked up Spanish a few years later from some of the immigrants in her town. Throughout her period of growing up, DJ would read all the books she could find, soaking up the knowledge they had inside them and absorbing them into her mind.
When her brother left home, DJ was forced to stay, it was still unacceptable for a woman to strike out on her own. She was forced instead to wait for a man to take an interest in her, or at least for her to take in interest in one of the men pursuing her. Unable to feel anything for a man other than a liking for his physical appearance, DJ abandoned the idea of love that was any kind other than familial. She married the hottest man that offered himself to her and was married around the age of 18. She quickly discovered that while she could not feel love she could certainly feel lust and sexual pleasure.
DJ developed quite a sexual appetite through her marriage and since she didn’t love her husband and he didn’t love her, the two of them struck a deal to be able to sleep around. They did just that, sometimes even having what people today would call ‘swinger parties’. Unfortunately, DJ’s husband was not as smart in picking his partners as she was and he contracted syphilis. Without the modern treatments, he died just before her twenty-second birthday. DJ was given their home and all her husband’s money, which was substantial.
She lived on her own for a year or two and then one day her brother came to see her. He was changed from what she remembered and felt removed from her somehow. She was scared that she was going to lose him but instead he told her that he had become a vampire and had come to change her so that they would never lose each other. DJ accepted his offer of immortality and the two of them have been living it up as vampires ever since. Their relationship is complicated, sometimes they love each other deeply and other times they can’t stand each other, but they never hurt each other and they will always be there for eachother.
Yo', my name is Inora, and I've been the walking dead for 19 years, and I've been grave robbing for IDK how many years, I dug up lovely Crimson Kiss by means of Google I think and adore it.
001. ANYTHING ELSE?• questions, comments, anything... 002. ROLE PLAY SAMPLE•
Opening a club was hard work, work that Inora had never intended to do and yet it was what she found herself involved in right now.
Ali had opened her big mouth, had told Nix about what Sevanni had done and Nora had nearly died of fear. Now he would come after her...he'd promised he would. And Sevanni seemed like someone who would do their best to keep promises if those promises involved pain being given to someone else.
So Inora had waited, frozen in terror, for the other proverbial foot to drop and her friends had sensed it. What she'd needed was to hide out, to go someplace that Sevanni would never look for her, and even if he did he would never find her.
Nixie, Ali, Rose, and Inora had had this idea for the club for a long time. A place just for vampires and werewolves, where they could be themselves without care, where the two species could meet and mingle. Perhaps a place that could lead to the easing of the tensions between the two species, one could dream right?
After Life, the name was perfect for a bar that catered largely to the vampire crowd. Yes, the name said nothing about werewolves but that would have been hard to do without completely giving it away. But After Life was now Nora's Only Life. She had been shipped off under the pretense of starting the club on it's feet, but she knew, they all knew, that she was just there to hide.
At least they'd sent her company. Inora still had no idea how they'd managed to convice Dominic to come with her, but he was the perfect companion. Sevanni didn't know him, didn't know that the two of them knew each other. He was also nice and quiet, so if Inora didn't want him around, it would be like he wasn't even there. But so far she'd liked having him around, though he seemed a little stuffy, treated her strangely, like he was scared that she was going to just break down at any moment.
A few weeks ago that would have been true, she would have been ready to break down at any moment, but now she was much happier and she'd begun to revert back to herself a lot more daily. And she'd grown to trust Dominic, even like him. Though that unfortunately meant that the attraction she'd grown toward him was showing more clearly now too, to her at least. She thought she was managing to hide it from him pretty well, no love sick puppy act here. Not like she'd been with Daniel Conteo...no sir, she really liked Nic. More than just his looks too.
He was sweet, and considerate, and he'd held her confidence with her friend even when he hadn't known her. Stayed to make sure that Inora was alright, even though he hadn't had to.
Yeah, he was definitely worth her interest and the more she got to know him the more she became to think that he was worth even more than that.
Sitting in the big open space, at one of the stools in front of the bar, Inora was smiling and rifling through some of the papers she had to sign to make this into a real business. She'd gotten them all from the necessary office buildings and she'd taken real care to make sure she hadn't missed any details. But now her eyes were starting to hurt from all the paperwork so she set her head down on the cool wood top of the bar and closed her eyes, letting the music that she had pumping through the newly installed speaker system roll over her.
She let out a sigh of contentment and relaxed into her pose.
