009. PERSONALITY OVERVIEW• Charlie is strong, that's what she's always heard from everyone, "Charlie your so strong!". And they almost never meant physically. Her life has engineered her to be a mental and emotional tank. She can take anything in stride and rarely gets angry or upset. She isn't exactly happy all the time, but she has a realist view on the world. Not pessimistic, not optimistic, just the view that "shit happens". She makes friends with people she has things in common with, and makes enemies with people that she hates, Charlie has no problem hating someone and telling them she hates them.

She can be brutally honest and charmingly sweet, it all depends on her mood and what you've done to or for her. Charlie is a brave soul, she fears very little and most of what she fears is easily avoidable. She would be the first one to step up and join a dangerous expedition or a sky-diving trip. She loves adrenaline rushes and she seeks them out often. She will be the best friend, the best lover, the best person you know, or the worst enemy. Charlene Amelia Gold was born in the wintery cold months of February to her proud parents. She was the oldest of what was to be four children. It became clear from a young age that Charlie was special, and she was going to be different. Charlie was born chubby, she was a very heavy baby at 10 pounds 3 ounces. For some reason, she only seemed to get bigger. By the time she reached grade school she was the biggest girl in her class. This of course led to merciless teasing. But Charlie just ignored the children in her class. Her family told her day after day how 'strong' she was for ignoring her classmates.

Charlie and her father were very close, he gave her everything she wanted, everything she needed and he treated her like she was beautiful and smart and adult. Charlie loved her father more than anything and took it very hard when he died two years after Charlie's sister Cora was born. Charlie became very depressed, her mother was having a hard time finding jobs, kids at school were still making fun of her for her weight(when they weren't giving her pathetic pity smiles because of her father's death), and Charlie was forced to become her mother's free babysitter.

Charlie basically raised her younger siblings, becoming even stronger than ever before. Around 9th grade, Charlie's body suddenly decided it didn't want to be big anymore and within five months she had slimmed down to a very desirable figure. Boys in her school started to notice her, and the girls in her school got even more vicious in their fat jokes. Charlie began getting into fights. She quickly learned how to defend herself and began carrying knives around with her, thus beginning her knife obsession.

Charlie graduated from high school and went to college where she met a nice boy who didn't remember her when she was fat. The two of them formed a pretty steady relationship but Charlie always felt like he was holding something back, hiding something from her. After returning home unexpectedly from her mother's wedding to her new stepfather, Charlie discovered her boyfriend's secret, he was a werewolf and he turned her that night unintentionally.

Charlie accepted her fate but broke off the relationship, unable to see her boyfriend without remembering his animal form attacking her. She graduated college, adjusting slowly to her new life, got a job as a maid and began to work her way up through the ranks. She is now the manager of the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City, putting her business degree to good use.
