ORIENTATION• Straight 008. SPECIFIC MORALS• Family comes first. 009. PERSONALITY OVERVIEW• Alex is very stubborn and the rebel child out of their pack of five. She loves to go out and party with her sister Ari, and she won't take shit from anyone. She is reckless and doesn't think about her actions most of the time, especially when under pressure, but her quick mind almost always comes up with something to get her out of trouble. She relies on her sisters and her wolf to keep her in line sometimes, and even she admits that she can get way out of hand sometimes. Though she doesn't always show it, she respects her older sisters and looks up to them, even if her rebellious nature demands that she do her own thing.
Alex, like Ari, doesn't open up to people easily, the only people who she really trusts is her sisters, her parents, and her wolf. Plain and simple. She has a standoff-ish attitude towards new people, which is probably the reason why she's never had a boyfriend. She isn't one to be outwardly mean to someone, unless they are mean to her first. She can be your best, most loyal friend in the world, or she could be the biggest pain in your ass you have ever encountered. And a dangerous enemy.
She grew up in a relatively happy home, but her military training had taught her to be wary of people. Though, for most people, military training tends to put them more in line and straighten them out... That wasn't the case for Alex, as she well knew it wouldn't be. It had simply made her more reckless, just made her better at dealing with the outcome of her vigilantee attitude, and get herself out of trouble, without having to rely on her sisters.

.Being the youngest child in a Asian family was not the grandest of things. Though her parents were not like most typical Asian parents, they still had some of the same values. The oldest was the one with the most responsibilities, though also, the most privilages while the five sisters were growing up. She also had to wonder if her parents were diappointed that they had no boys, though they had never said anything to that extent and loved all five of them equally.
She had grown up in New York City, New York, spending her childhood when she wasn't at school at her parents Gereral store. She loved spending time with her sisters, though sometimes, they could be a little sufficating. Being the youngest was a royal pain in the ass, since most of her siblings thought they had to look out for her and protect her... Perhaps that was why she was considered the rebel of them all. There were only two that she wouldn't go against, Ivie and Ari. Ivie because, though she may not show it, she respected her eldest sister's command over the rest of them, her leadership, and in truth did not envy her. Alex was determined to not add onto her older sister's stress level. And Ari, because, well, she was just closer to her than any of the others, since they were the two youngest siblings of their group.
Highschool had been a strange time for Alex. She was timid of guys, and never really liked them much. While her other sisters had all had at least one boyfriend, she had never had one, and hadn't had the desire to. Her mother worried about her never finding a husband and settling down. When Alex would come back with a remark about how, being the youngest, her mother shouldn't be worrying about her, but her older sisters, her mother usually silenced her with one single remark. They have all at least had a boyfriend before. And, of course, Alex had nothing to say to that. Of course, her lack of relationships hadn't been because she was ugly or anything. Actually, she had many guys ask her out on dates, and even a few girls, but she just never could do it. She would always turn them down, sticking to herself mostly throughout her highschool years. Skipping class, smoking in the bathrooms, fighting, getting suspended, sneaking out her bedroom window late at night to go party... Her highschool years had been nothing but drama for her. Despite all that, however, she held good grades in school, and had graduated two years early, when she was 16. Though after she graduated, she had decided to go into the military, instead of going off to college like her parents wanted her to.
School just wasn't for her. However, the excitement that came along with Military basic training... Now, that was something all together different. She loved the action of it all. In her younger years, her sisters would always come to her when they were doing something that they didn't want mom and dad to know, and she would distract her parents, usually by doing something to get herself in trouble, and her parents were never the wiser about what her siblings were doing. She was the "problem child" within the family. She had been threatened, more than once, to be sent straight to boot camp by her parents. And when she had joined the military, her parents had actually been happy, thinking that military life would teach her some discipline... Unfortunately for them, that was not the case. It actually made her more reckless, more unpredictable. And more cunning in her scams.
She had always been fascinated with building structures. First starting with ancient buildings of Greece, Rome, Italy, France, and then moving up to the more modern designs. And while in the military, she had studied blue prints, maping out routes that were the most suitable for ambush of a enemy, even with hostages in mind. She was excellent with coming up with a route that would cause the least casualties as possible, if any at all.
Like the rest of her sisters, she had also become fascinated with one of the five elements. Ari was darkness, since she was the sneaky one, silent and unseen. Virgo was fire, and had become a demolition expert. Ivie was water, calm and collected; going with the flow. Illiana is the planner, so she's metal, stuck in her ways. Alex? Well, as for Alex, her fascination had been with the earth. She could be soothing and mothering at one moment (despite being the youngest), and she could be wild, untamable, and unpredictable the next minute. It all just depended on the situation.
During her military training, she had also learned fighting techniques from many different fighting styles, and had become more than efficient in each one. And, she also had a stalker. His name was James Brogan. He had become fascinated with her, and while she had repeatedly told him to fuck off, he kept on, like a persistant six year old yelling at his mother in a store that he wanted a toy that he had seen on the shelf. He really got on her nerves. Especially when he got pissed and decided to try the "I'm bigger than you, and if you know what's good for you, you will do as I say." She had only scoffed at him, not wanting to get kicked out of her camp over some asshole when she only had two weeks left in basic training. So, she had done her best to bite down on her temper and blow him off.
Well, one day while she was hanging out with some of the other guys and drinking a few beers, James had come up to her, totally plastered, and smacked her ass as she was getting up to go get another beer. Without even thinking, she turned on her heel and did a round house kick to the face, sending him to the ground hard, spitting out blood. Without so much as looking back at him, she turned and walked out of the little bar that was just about two miles from their camp site, and began walking back. She had come there with her friend Rodger, but she didn't want to ruin his night, simply because some asshole had ruined hers. She might end up being court marshalled within the next few days for hitting a superior officer, but at that moment, she didn't care. If they couldn't see that he had sexually harrassed her for the last six months, then dammit, she would walk out of this camp with her head high and flipping them all the bird. Because, if they found her guilty, she would be kicked out immediately. No questions asked. And James Lee Brogan had a lot of pull around here.
She got the sense that someone was following her, and at first, she thought it was Rodger. She sighed, turned around and looked out onto the black night, her chocolate eyes looking for her friend. "Rodge, it's okay. You don't have to follow me back to the barracks. I'm a big girl, I can handle...my...self..." Her voice had trailed off, as she noticed that what was following her had NOT been Rodger Harris. But had instead been a large, grey wolf. She held up her hands slowly, making certain not to make any sudden movements as the wolf inched closer to her, his ears lowered, and fangs bared. "Easy boy... I won't hurt you, if you don't hurt me.." She said soothingly, taking a few steps back, very slowly and carefully. At the same time, her hand began to reach behind her back, where she kept a 9 mm in the back of her camo pants in its holster. The wolf, seeing her reaching for her gun, snarled and lept at her, his fangs sinking into her shoulder and clamping down hard, his head shaking viciously, as if he was trying to rip her apart. Alex screamed, pulling out her gun quickly and shooting the animal in the throat. She didn't stop to see if she had killed it or not, simply turned and ran as fast as she could, which was pretty damn fast, back to the barracks.
No one was in that early on a Friday night, since they had the weekends to themselves. She went into the bathroom and pulled out her first aid kit, cleaned herself up, and then went to bed. For a long time she laid there, wondering if she should call her closest sister, Ari, and tell her about what had happened. But, she didn't want to worry her sister, and simply decided to leave it alone. She would be home in two weeks anyway, and then she would tell her sisters about the attack. She hoped she didn't get rabies... she would go to the infirmary tomorrow morning and get a rabies shot, just in case. She slipped off to sleep, her dreams filled with crazy wolves, and she was in the body of one of them...
The next morning, she had been woken up by a voice over the amplifier, saying that James Brogan had been shot last night. She quickly got dressed in her BDUs and took off towards the main office, wondering what the hell had happened to James. Just becasue she didn't like him, he was still a member of her unit, and she didn't relish the fact that he was dead. Sgt. O'Connor was there, and he told her, with a solumn face, that James had been shot in the throat after leaving the bar last night. He had been found this morning by Sgt. Major Grace. She had turned around and walked out without a word, not even being able to say the things that a normal cadet would have said in this situation. Her heart was pounding, and her head was racing. Shot in the throat? What were the chances that James Brogan had been shot in the throat, when just last night, she herself had been attacked by a wolf, and had shot the wolf in the exact same place?
She had left that night. Packed her bags while everyone else was gone and slipped out, leaving a note that there was a family emergency and that she had to get back immediatley. Her mind couldn't deal with the coincidence of it all... And something in her told her that she hadn't shot a wolf last night... Thoughts of werewolves entered her mind, and she had even met one, by accident. A guy in her camp, Josh Walden, a timid guy but with a fascination for explosives. He had been like a male version of Virgo, in some ways... Except for the timid part. She had become friends with him rather quickly, strange, since she didn't open up to people that easily. He just had a... addictive personality, and when he smiled, you couldn't help but smile back. He had told her about what he was, and she hadn't believed him, until he showed her personally. She had nearly fainted on the spot... Another odd thing for her. Alexandra Lee Kay did not faint, as a rule. Remembering him, she couldn't help but wonder... Had Brogan been a werewolf? But why would he have attacked her like that? It wasn't a full moon out... Her kicking him hadn't been a good enough reason for him to try and kill her, had it? Then again... The guy had been pretty damn unstable.
And so, she had returned to her family back in New York, after 8 months of not seeing them. She had missed them like crazy, it had been the longest any of them had been away from each other. She hadn't gotten a chance to call and say she was coming home, so it had come as quite a shock to her family. Ari had been the one to answer the door, and her older sister had made them both fall backwards, since Alex had not been prepared for her sister to literally pounce on her and hug her so tighlty she couldn't breathe.
Three weeks later, she found out that she had indeed been bitten by a werewolf. At first, she thought herself a freak, and became more and more distant from the rest of her sisters. She didn't want them knowing, and didn't want her parents knowing. During that time, she had become more and more attached to her wolf, and didnt see herself as a freak anymore, and began to love her wolf just as much as she loved her sisters. Within a month, she found out that her closest sister, Ari, had also become a werewolf. And, to add a cherry onto this big sunday of shock, she soon found out about the rest of her sisters having been bitten, as well.
They started forming plans on how to deal with this, some of them taking the transformation better than others. Alex had thrown herself into it full force, readily accepting this new turn in her life, though their parents still had no idea about what their daughters truely were. They had worked out strategies on how they could work together during their missions and be as efficient as possible. They took jobs from anyone who had the money to pay for it, and it didn't matter to them the circumstances. Killing, retrieving, getting informations... You name it, the Kay sisters would do it.
