002. HAIR• Naturally curly, Iliana’s hair falls to her mid-back when wavy and potentially down to her waist when straightened. The color is a deep brown with very subtle red highlights normally only visible in direct sunlight or light of some other kind. Iliana likes her hair long and she normally does nothing more with it than to wash it, occasionally run a comb through.
003. EYES• Unfortunately, Iliana’s eyes are quite boring. They are simply a deep shade of brown, in the right lighting or from the right distance they may even appear to be purely pupil, completely black. They are bordered by quite long lashes which she enjoys coating in mascara. Her eye makeup tends more to the natural look, light pinks, browns, tans.
004. HEIGHT• Surprisingly, with her asian heritage, Iliana stands at around 5’7”. She is quite happy with her height, though she does get the occasional “how’s the weather up there” comment, she ignores these considering how good her miles of legs look when slipped into tight jeans or a skirt and accentuated with high heels.
005. WEIGHT• Because of her height, and her workout regiment, Iliana weighs around 120 pounds, though this number has been known to fluctuate.
006. BODY MODS• None, no piercings, no tattoos. She has one major scar running parallel to her collar bone from her right shoulder to the valley between her breasts.
007. FASHION/STYLE• Iliana likes to be sophisticated, and because of this she really enjoys wearing business suits, sweater sets, high fashion styles and trendy outfits. Her closet is full of clothes that would normally be immensely expensive, but that she found in bargain bins and turned into the latest styles. She fancies herself a fashionista, and a fashion designer. She can sew clothes into just about anything and transform a simple piece of cloth into a beautiful dress.

009. PERSONALITY OVERVIEW• Iliana is the planner of the family, she always has to have one, a plan that is. This goes so far as to be even a fear, she hates going into places unprepared, hates being “spontaneous”, fears it even. She is a sweetheart, but when she doesn’t have a plan she can get testy. As the grounded, harmonious one, Iliana is sometimes forced to mediate fights between her sisters, though she gets in her fair share of fights with them as well. She does her best to keep the family together and to keep balance in her life. Her yoga assists her in this and anytime she’s really upset, she’ll go and do some yoga. Her work as a dressmaker keeps her pretty busy, owning her own small boutique can be a bit of a hassle but she is growing in popularity with the New York City locals which will hopefully lead her to being popular world wide. She wants nothing more than to be able to give her sisters everything their hearts desire.

Iliana tries not to hate anyone, but she can be known to grow bad feelings for others. Vampires don’t bother her as long as they are nice to her and her sisters. The fastest way to get on her bad side is to hurt one of her sisters, threaten one of her sisters, or be mean to one of her sisters.

005. HISTORY OVERVIEW•

Born to two Asian-American immigrants, Iliana was only one in a long line of girls for Jin and Chang Kay. Iliana was one of the most grounded from the start, she learned how to walk and talk very quickly and soon began to take care of her younger sisters. As she got older and developed her personality, she fell in step behind her eldest sister Ivie, who was always the leader of the sisters. So Iliana became the co-leader, the planner, the one who helped Ivie keep the other sisters in line.

The sister’s grew closer everyday they were together and they learned to work as a cohesive unit through working in their parent’s store. They became a well-oiled machine. Their parents raised them to know about their culture, to appreciate the fact that they were different and could bring something special to the world around them. Iliana loved her heritage, it gave her a feeling of identity even when she wasn’t sure of who she was.

As she grew up, Iliana was known to make friends easily despite her absolute love for plans and structure that could sometimes prove annoying. Especially since she hated for her plans to get ruined or changed. The only thing that Iliana ever really got worked up over was her sisters or her heritage. Even her plans couldn’t make her as angry as those two things.

During her high school years she enrolled in an art class and quickly fell in love with all things artistic. She is willing to try any style, and any category. She loves pottery and painting and drawing and sketching, of all kinds. Art class eventually led to a fashion design class and Iliana knew she’d found her future. She became very good at making clothing and her teacher told her that she should go to design school. Instead, Iliana jumped right into the business. She made a portfolio and brought it to a very trendy fashion studio. There were a million other applicants for the internship with this studio, and every one of them had gone to design school. Iliana beat every single one of them on the power of her natural talent alone.

After interning with this studio, she opened up her own small boutique in New York City and runs yoga classes out of it to make extra money on Saturdays.
