001. YOUR FACE• Dakota Rose 002. HAIR• Short, straight blonde military style bangs fall just above her eyebrows. Her face is framed by chin-length locks. The sides of her head are shaved almost to the skin, but not quite, and her long, feminine mohawk ends midway down her back. At any given time, pink and black may be present in the form of clip-in extensions or spray on dye. 003. EYES• She sees the world through oversized, black-rimmed deep blue pools, which are always lined too-heavily in black and occasionally "hotter" colors. 004. HIEGHT• Hehlo stands at a who-wears-short-shorts stance of five-feet. 005. WEIGHT• Even after having a child, she managed to drop back down to eighty-seven pounds. 006. BODY MODS• Lo has snakebites on her lips, and a flambuoyant tattoo that begins on her lower thigh, wraps around her body, and peeks over her left shoulder-- It's a mangled cherry-blossom tree in greyscale with three cherry blossoms placed randomly, which were shaded with a blacklight reactive hot pink and cotton candy pink. On her back, a brilliant greyscale peacock is perched amongst the branches. 007. FASHION/STYLE• She's a punk-rock member of the blondeterage. Although she can look prissy and high-maintenance naturally, she typically dresses in easy-going casuals. Ripped up blue jeans and a white wifebeater are the regular ensamble, however she's not a stranger to cutesy dresses and bright Jeffree Star inspired tees, buttons, and barrettes, and always has on a hot pair of shoes.
001. LIKES• Hehlo enjoys spending time with her son at the park, painting, cupcakes, World of Warcraft, her horse, collecting bugs-- those big rhinoceros beetles in particular, cheesey baked potatoes, energy drinks and foreign tea, headbands, classical and electronic music, aquariums, people watching, spicey white cheese and nacho chips, and reality TV shows. 002. DISLIKES• She doesn't much care for ignorance in others, line dancing, alcohol or drugs-although she does smoke Capri menthol cigarettes, gummy bears, bad interior design, arguements, her son's father, or hotel rooms. 003. FEARS• She's afraid of losing her son, Tully, growing old, german shepherd dogs, stepping on nails or needles, losing her looks, and conflict. 004. STRENGTHS• Hehlo usually has a good judge of character after having misjudged so much. She has a strong will and knows how to get what she wants. She's a fighter, a trooper. She possesses street smarts AND book smarts. She's always wary, and keeps only a few close friends. Change doesn't bother her. 005. WEAKNESSES• She can sometimes be too friendly. She has trouble saying, "No." She tries too hard and is a glutton for punishment. She's overly obsessive and that makes day-to-day life sort of hard. She gets easily frustrated when introducing herself, considering her name sounds like "Hello". 006. ODDITIES• Her name, for one, is nothing typical. She is obsessive over her toenails and can't go more than a few hours without looking at them to make sure they still look good. She has a tendency to make strange noises out of the blue. She will burst into laughter in dead silence over something that may have happened months ago. She seems to enjoy getting into trouble and will go out of her way to land herself with someone mad at her. 007. ORIENTATION• She's bisexual. To her, male and female are the same except for the parts, and she can find herself just as happy with one as with the other. Her attraction goes by personality and compatability, not gender. 008. SPECIFIC MORALS• Tully comes first. 009. PERSONALITY OVERVIEW• Hehlo is a genuine person. She doen't ever lie, because she finds it makes more problems than it prevents. She's a rather bubbley person, and most always extremely pleasant to be around. She has a habit of admiring people. Some might call it staring, but she just can't help herself but to look and appriciate the world around her. She enjoys being outdoors but no more than she enjoys being indoors. Happiness is a state of being, and that's the state she wants to live in. She's always recruiting new residents, if anyone would like to join her. She finds pleasure in the little things in life, never taking anything for granted. It's easy for her to get distracted because her mind is always full and busy. She's rather inventive and creative but will never show it. She puts herself down too much, feeling undeserving of all the good things that have begun to happen to her. She finds life incredibly easy to deal with and can't see how anyone could be disappointed where their path has taken them. She can be a neat-freak, but that's just for the sake of tidiness and setting a good example for her little boy. She is not judgemental at all and accepts everyone for who they are, although she doesn't necessarily like everyone she meets. She can't stand ignorance and bad grammar and is always correcting people.

Hehlo was born in Moscow, SU to Julia and Slav Grehn, a quaint couple that lived in a quaint home stuck back in the very quaint crumbling gardens of the city's countryside. The couple was oh so terribly happy to finally have a child after years and years of trying with absolutely nothing but heartache with each failed pregnancy. Mother and father loved their daughter dearly, and always held her close. It was a rare occasion that one would so much as leave the room without little Hehlo in arm or on hip.
Hehlo grew and was very intelligent. She was speaking and reading before age two, and wrote cyrillic scribbles by age three. She could read adult books by five, and developed an ever-growing affinity for the world outside of Moscow. She was not your typical child of the Soviet.
She insisted on English language classes at age seven and, although money was seldom available, her family was intent on getting her whatever she wanted. As she was not interested in dolls and toys and shopping as most expensive little girls were, they managed to enroll Hehlo in language courses. She excelled and was fluent in not only English, but Spanish as well by age twelve.
She developed a growing interest and passion for animals, and was determined to have a horse. Through persistance and helping out in her mother's handmade jewelry shop for two years, her dream finally came true at age fourteen. Her parents took her to look at ponies, which although were more appropriately sized for the tiny little girl, brought no sparkle to her eyes. After more persistance, a large white cross-bred gelding came into Hehlo's life and was soon living on the small property in the country her parents owned. A dream come true!
Hehlo began to train hard and entered shows just months after her horse came home. She still hadn't the funds to cover travel and entry fees of the larger shows, but she was determined, and her parents recognized this after attending multiple shows and lessons.
However, something else inside of Hehlo had been brewing all of these years. With each bit of education she recieved about other countries, Hehlo began to long to travel away from the Soviet and leave everything behind to start new. This goal was not at the time realistic, but it was something she felt very strongly about and refused to give up on.
Her classmates did not help her case one bit. They, too, with encouragement from their parents and peers within the city, were becomming frustrated with the way the Soviet worked. They bombarded Hehlo with information about the government which was oh-too-juicy and repulsive all at once. They pushed the young teenager to join their cause, and wanted to join a forming protest against the country's ways with their parents. It all made so much sense at the time, but none of the children understood the reprocussions that may insue.
After months of planning, the night had finally come for the rebellious protest to begin. Hehlo lied to her parents and told her she was spending the night with a school friend. They, having lived in the countryside all these years, had no idea what was about to explode in the city on this night. Hehlo went home with a group of friends after school this day, only to find a much larger group of protestors than she could have ever imagined. It must have been the whole city! She'd considered. This must be a good thing, because so many people feel so strongly about it. We are doing the right thing, and we will make a difference!
As the protestors marched into the main district of the city, Hehlo noticed that the government was not at all unaware of what was about to happen. Military forces were stationed to block the way, armed with powerful firearms, grenades, flares, and bludgeons. Given warning, the protestors continued and began producing hidden weapons of their own, none of which were a match for the militia's.
Hehlo heard a tinkling sound, then a grinding roll. She looked down to see a dark something on the ground, then cocked her head in confusion as it began to spray a smokey gas. She picked up the non-lethal grenade to examine it and began to feel woozey at once when the gas fogged around her face. Disoriented, she did not recognize the sound of gunfire and screams. She didn't understand what was going on anymore, and was so confused that she couldn't keep herself up anymore. Groggy and unaware, she fell to the ground where she was rendered unconscious and completely oblivious to the horrendous murders and beatings that were going on all around her.
When she finally woke, she was sore and light-headed, and ever so confused. She sat up, which was more than painful, and looked around at her surroundings. The walls were stone and the room was dark. Only a single green flickering light showed her a door and a table and sink and let her know that she was alive, not trapped in a dimension of darkness. She hurt down low-- a stabbing pain- and dropped a hand to massage her thigh. With a quiet groan, she brought her hand up to wipe the sweat from her cheeks and forehead and that's when she noticed the smell and the sticky on her hand. Her hand dropped and she struggled to see what was coating it. It looked black in the green light, but it smelled like copper. Blood?
She looked down and noticed the bedding beneath her was completely soaked with blood. Her heart sunk and her brain raced in attempt to recall the night before's events. No avail.
The creaking noise of the door opening startled Hehlo, but she was just too weak to jump at the noise, and too sick feeling. She shook at the sight of a man twice her size and looked away quickly. He spoke words of punishment for her participation in the rebellion and took her. This went on for what seemed like weeks, but with no windows in the room, Hehlo could not be sure what sort of time was passing.
She planned an escape but did not get the chance to put the plan into action. In her sleep, she was loaded up into a vehicle and driven out to an unfamiliar looking place, where she was hurled from the moving car. She hit rocks and was knocked out instantly before rolling down the steep, rocky hillside and coming to rest at the bank of a river.
She woke in a dim white hospital that smelled not of the clean she imagined from the television shows. The nurses were kind though, and the doctors condescending. Hehlo pleaded that they find her parents, take her home. They gave her their word that they'd try, and they did come back with news to Hehlo.
"Your parents are dead," they said to her, which sent the young girl into panic. The next words that came hit her harder. "You're with child, and we'll be placing you in a home for misplaced children to carry out your term. They'll try to help you."
At sixteen, Hehlo gave birth to a little boy whom she named Alexander Tully. During her pregnancy, she'd been working closely with the staff of the home in trying to gain citizenship in America. After two years, her attempts bore sweet fruit and she boarded a plane with her son to go to a small town in California.
She found, though, that it was not a safe environment for her son, and made a big decision to move.. To go anywhere but where she was. That decision has brought her to a small cloudy town where life is about to get a little crazier than she ever thought it could...
Yo', my name is Amelia, and I've been the walking dead for 20 years, and I've been grave robbing for 11 years, I dug up lovely Crimson Kiss by means of Google Search and adore it.
001. ANYTHING ELSE?• Hehlo does have a son, who is aged at just less than four years old. I figured I could play him on this account since he'll always be with her and be more of a "puppy" sort of thing until turned into vampire, at which time I plan to make a new account just for him. ^_^ Also, better picture/avatar/thingy to come. Promise! 002. ROLE PLAY SAMPLE•
"Tully, come on. Let's go," Hehlo's sweet voice rang out through the small apartment she shared with her young son. A groan could barely be heard from the little boy's bedroom. Toys fell to the floor in quiet "thunks" and the patter of socked feet followed. Hehlo looked down at her son, who was wearing his shirt backwards and inside out. "Arms up," she asked of him. He complied, allowing his mother to remove his shirt to flip it right side out. She tugged it back down over his head then lifted him onto her hip. "You're getting so big," she doted, nosing his cheek before giving him a loud kiss on the temple.
She set him onto the floor then noticed, "Where are your shoes?" Her accent was thick and made Tully laugh. "You sound not like the people here mommy," he teased at her. "You're avoiding the question," she persisted.
The shoes were found in his toybox, and all Lo could do was laugh at her son's unwillingness to wear shoes. She'd give in.. This time.
"Okay," she conceded. "You can go barefoot but I don't want to hear that your feet are cold and I'm carrying you the whole way. No stops at the park and no stepping on the dirty floor." Tully seemed to like this idea, especially since he felt he'd manipulated his mother into it. He thought he had control, but he didn't realize how serious Lo was about the not setting him down for a minute thing...
