Our mothers were great friends, which gave them reasons to have "dinner parties" and to put us together on vacations when you would come to England. We stayed in touch and we became really good friends. But in 2001, when that vampire killed your parents and took you away, our family thought it was a kidnapping that turned horribly wrong.
