Deakon stod outside the house. He heard yelling. But only for a moment. Others where already there. It seemed strange to him that they where threr that early it was only 7. But that didn't matter. He needed to join this coven. he steped in side. The house was nice but he wanted to get to the kitchen. the noise was coming from the kitchen.
He entered a little more cautiously than what he had with the front door. The kitche contained only three others. Two women and one man. He recognised one of them she had been in a bar he was in a while ago. He felt a little out of place. He was the youngest one in there. "This is the coven right." he said as clearly as possible. The other two seemed to be in a little bit of a bad mood towrads each other. The first seemed to have been scolding them for their fight.

Kai glanced over towards the kitchen door, a male vampire stood there, looking unconfortable. She gave Giselle and Garth a disapproving look before approaching the new vampire. She smiled slightly. "Yep, you're in the right place." Kai was definitely bipolar. She stuck out a hand. "You can call me Kai, I am the coven master." She looked over at the other two. "Giselle," Kai nodded to the female, "and Garth."

Deakon took Kailyn's hand looked her straight in the eye and shook it. He was young so he hadn't any idea if he was doing the right thing by shaking her hand but did it anyway. He turned slightly and bowed his head to the others; sightly. He turned back to Kailyn and said; in a tone he only used with those he felt deserved the respect they had, "I am Deakon. It would be an honor to join this coven of yours." He was a little uncomfortable saying this but meant to all extents. He was in all terms uncofotable being near so many vampires who where much older than him. He could not discern any of there true ages but treated them as if they where much older than he.

Kai nodded her head in respect. Hell, she had a reason to, Deakon had just proven himself worthy of respect, not being cowardly and looking down, like a human. "Very well, Deakon." Kai glanced back at Garth, since she had already given Giselle this speech. "You'd better listen too, Garth." Kai strode over to her counter and jumped up, landing on her feet, before sitting cross legged, just like before. "As of now, none of you have my full trust, respect, maybe, but my trust is not given, it is earned. And to earn my trust you must be loyal and honest." Kai glanced at the three other vampires standing in the kitchen that she had comandeered from a family of humans a few weeks ago.
"If I find out that you have lied to me." Kai grinned sadistically. "Then I'm afraid that you will only have moments to run." Again, she hoped she had only given them a reason to fear her a little because they respected her, not respect her because they feared her. "You are welcome to my house at anytime. And as Giselle has already been notified of, if you touch my weapons then I will say something about it, if you handle them again, then I am afraid I will have to do something about it." Kai paused for a moment, meeting each pair of eyes with her own dark orbs.
"As a coven, we will hunt together, but I expect you not to relly on this coven as a source of strength." Kai met their gazes. "As for the rest of my dramatic speech, I will save it for later." She grinned slightly. "Now, have you any questions, comments? If not, I would like to speak with both Garth and Deakon privately." Kai had already spoken with Giselle about her past, when they were the only two there. But Kai would not allow for the rest of the coven to know about their coven-mate's personal information unless they were allowed by that individual.

Deakon understood why she had said what she had. Hell he had they same rules to his life. "I guess I'll start." Deakon began, "My life's no secret. I was born a vampire, and if you would like to challenge that claim than you can check me for "The Kiss". My mother was turned only a few months before I was born. I was born in Romania but have no memories of the place and have no want to return. I was raised in America, where my mother was murdered. I came here to set things right. I have no reason to care for humans nor do I; other than as food. I'm about fifteen. My mother never really cared for the life of a vampire but i do not follow suite. The way I see it is; if I have to give up the sunlight to live for longer than any human will ever live than that's a price I'll have to pay". He spoke calmly and clearly. His world was about to change and he hoped it would be for the better. He pulled out a box of cigs and asked "May I?"

Kai listened to Deakon patiently, she had no idea why he wanted everyone to know about his past. Hell, she would have never told anyone the full story of how she lived, not even someone she could trust with her life. But, whatever floats your boat.
Kai shrugged at Deakon's question. "Just don't leave s**t all over the place." The house needed respect, and cigarette ashes were not exactly the kind of thing that Kai wanted all around her house.

Deakon replied with a simple "Thank you." He slid the cig out, put it in his mouth, pulled out his zippo and lit it. He took a long drag. He was feeling a little more comfortable now. He cupped his left hand and tipped the ashes in. he felt that his time to speak had ended so he waited for the vampire named Garth to speak. He sat patiently now leaning against the wall periodically tipping the ashes from his cig into his hand then sliding his hand in to his pocket to rid himself of the ash filled hand.

Layla approached the address that she had been given. It would be interesting to hunt in a coven again, so she had decided to check it out. Standing a few houses down from the actual destination, Layla scanned the neighborhood.
'Hmmm, I wonder if anyone knows that the neighbors are dead.' Layla laughed to herself. Someone had obviously brought a gift to the party. That or Kailyn had something very very fun planned for the night. 'This is looking better and better.' She thought. 'Might as well go in.'
Her scanning told her that the vampires that were already at the meeting had gathered in the kitchen. Making her way closer to the house, she decided that no one would see her enter through the front door, too obvious. Easily leaping over the side fence into the houses spacious backyard, Layla made her way to the back door of the house. It was closer to the kitchen and no one would be able to place her at the house when the murder next door was discovered. Always watching her own back, no one else would after all.
She had long ago given up on the idea of a true companion. All those she had identified and allied herself with in the past had left her or betrayed her. The only reason that Layla was giving this coven a chance was that she was semi-tired of hunting by herself. She wanted to switch her life up a bit. After all, over 900 years of the same old thing will tire anyone out, even a vampire.
Pushing open the back door, Layla entered the kitchen to join the four vampires that were already there. "Greetings to everyone." Turning to Kailyn, "Especially to you, thank you for the opportunity of this coven. I am Layla."

Taking a page from William's book ;D : POSTING ORDER:::: Kailyn Giselle Garth Deakon Layla
Kai sensed the new vampire enter her turf. She smiled slightly, Kai liked this one's style, it was amusing. Kai turned her head slightly as the back door opened. Putting the old conversation behind, she greeted the vampire.
"Hello, Layla. You may call me Kai, I am the Coven Master." She said this as if it was being said for the thousandth time. Kai stuck a hand out, she greeted everyone equally, unless they had something else hidden up their sleeve. "This is Giselle," Kai pointed them each out, "Garth, and Deakon."

Nodding to each one of the other vampires, she logged their names away in her mind, 'Giselle, Deakon, and Garth.' Stepping a bit farther into the kitchen, Layla accepted Kai's hand and shook it lightly. Giving the coven master a smile that lit up her face. She hoped with all the heart she had left that this would do something to change up the life she had been living as of yet in this part of the world. It was too early yet to tell, but the air in the room was not very condoning to a good fitting coven.
Layla sensed the tension that radiated between the female named Giselle and the male Garth. It was interesting that they knew each other, well, maybe not that interesting. Layla assumed now that the vampires in this area socialized with the others of their kind. She was one to stay away for the most part, meeting her kind only when necessary or unavoidable. That was why this was going to be such a change for her. It had been many hundreds of years since she had been part of a real coven, her smile widened as she thought about how a real coven should be. Again, she hoped silently that this would work out.
"I would be honored if I was allowed to join the coven that you are forming here." She smiled again in Kai's direction. Addressing the coven master directly instead of talking to the whole group. She did not need their approval, just Kai's. "I am not sure if you are aware, but the family next door has been murdered. I hope no one here was stupid enough to leave clues." She did not want to insult new coven mates on the first meeting, but then again, she did not want cops patrolling around the neighborhood and asking questions.

((I'll post, but pay attention to the posting order. Thanks))
Kai knew that this vampire was much, much older than she was, but it did not faze her. Kai wasn't about to treat someone special just because they had been around the block once or twice more than she had.
"Of coarse you are excepted into my coven, as of now." There was an underlying threat that Kai made sure all the vampires in her coven were aware of. "As for the family," Kai shrugged, "I know that they are dead, and I've no objections." She smiled sadistically. "Once the humans find out that two of their kind are dead in the house and that two others are missing, well, it will not make any difference." Kai looked over at Giselle. "Because there won't be any evidence. Will there, Giselle."

OOC: Alright let’s see. I haven’t posted in a while so I’ll have to say something about every post. Just warning you in advance. Also, Rose who plays Garth has tons to do and she doesn’t have time to post. She said you can brush him aside for the moment.
Giselle gave Garth one last sneer of disapproval before talking to Kai. “Yes Kai, I understand. I will not let this interfere with the coven but that pervert may. Just warning you. He did assault me. You won’t have to get involved in anything. I won’t do anything but I can’t say the same about him,”Giselle said through gritted teeth. It was difficult to obey someone. She restrained herself from giving Garth a venomous look. Kai wouldn’t like that.
Giselle smelled another vampire approaching. The vampire was indeed male, this was perfect. Giselle did promise Kai she would not fight with Garth but she didn’t say anything about making Garth fight with her. What better way to make a vampire jealous than flirt with another man? Or in the other vampire’s case a boy. Giselle knew Garth was attracted to her. The night he “assaulted’ her proved it.
Giselle soon learned that the vampire’s name was Deakon, a rather odd name. Ah well, who cared? Kai ran though her ground rules again and then asked about Deakon’s history.Giselle listened as he talked about it, nothing special.
Giselle’s chance came to start her flirting with Deakon while they waited for Garth to get himself together and tell Kai his past. She sauntered over and leaned sexily against the wall next to him. She would have introduced herself more formally if not for the next vampire that arrived. Darn, this would have to wait for later. Kai might have not liked her flirting so maybe it was good the next vampire had come.
She was female and just as pretty as her. Hopefully Garth wouldn’t get any ideas. He was her’s. Of course, Giselle could never like that arrogant and insolent fool. She just wanted to make his life miserable. He wanted her and she would use that against him.
Giselle saw that the female vampire came from the back. She was a smart one, Giselle liked her already. With her, Kai, Deakon and herself, they would make a dangerous hunting party. Not Garth though, Garth was a wuss. He could watch how Giselle really hunted. Then he’d see how great a creature she was.
Giselle had to address Layla at some point tonight. She had to flirt with Deakon, talk with Layla, keep on Kai’s good-side, and make Garth’s eyes glow green with envy over her and Deakon. She was liking this coven every second. She was eager for more vampires to get here faster.
Giselle was hoping for the police to come so she could have a hearty snack. She did have to think of Kai first and she wanted the evidence gone. Her wish was Giselle’s command. She could find another way to draw attention to herself. Maybe she’d invite Deakon and Layla. No, she wanted to make Garth jealous. As much as she’d love Layla with her, she had to have only Deakon. Giselle made an apologetic grin, “I’ll be right back. Can anyone come with me Kai? I think there’s a maid that was sleeping.”

"I am a professional, madmoiselle, I will not let my feelings get in the way," Garth announced, somewhat insulted. "Her, however..." Garth smirked to himself and leaned down to Kai's level and whispered, so only Kai could hear, "She's in love with me." Although it wasn't necessarily true, he had evidence. She'd kissed him back. Obvioulsy there were some feelings there ... Garth didn't feel them back, but it would be good blackmail. Vampires weren't supposed to love, Garth completely disagreed with the suggestion that they were supposed to have hearts. Their hearts didn't beat; why should they love?
Turning to the woman with auburn hair, Giselle, he watched her. She was flirting with some other man; some other man who was not right for her. He could tell. He raised an eyebrow. He'd have to take care of this. "Excuse me," Garth said politely, pulling out of the conversation and casually walking over to Giselle.
"Darling," He started daringly. She couldn't do anything -- this was perfect. "Who is this man? You aren't going to cheat on me, are you?" He smiled daringly and put out his left hand, suggesting that the man standing before Giselle should shake it.
“I’ll be right back. Can anyone come with me Kai? I think there’s a maid that was sleeping.”
"I volunteer," Garth said before he could stop himself. Giselle was probably hoping for Deakon to go with her ... that was not going to happen. He wouldn't let it. Garth always got his way -- he had been an only child, for Pete's sake.

OCC: I wont be on so much so just skip me if im not on.
Deakon smelled the air. Could tell by the strong scent that a vampire had just approached Kai's house. He soon after saw a vampire enter through the back door. When Kai said his name he nooded his head in a greeting manner. He took another drag and waited for someone to speak. It was then he realized that Giselle had leaned against the wall. He had an inkling that she was hitting on him but brushed it away as if it were just another one of his paranoid thoughts. He then heard her ask if she could have someone with her to kill the maid. This was an abnormal thing to ask. Hell! She was a vampire for Drakulla sake. Why would she need another vampire... Then it doned on him, she was hitting on him. But he also knew that he was fourteen and she was . . . well he wasn't sure how old she was, but he knew that she had to be much older than he was.

The underlying feelings that two of the vampires seemed to have for each other did not pass unnoticed to Layla. Nor did the fact that Giselle seemed to want to flirt with the only other male present, Deakon. There was a part of her that understood the need to shake a male vampire down a peg or two, but not with one that was so young. Deakon was far too young for Layla's own tastes, maybe Giselle's ran to the newer of their kind.
She shook off the feelings of tension that were in the air and turned toward the only other vampire not involved in the mini-drama, Kai. In the past, Layla's other coven masters had wanted to know the back story of those who they allowed to join their hunting group. Letting someone in who was unsavory could ruin the experience for everyone. Turning to the leader of the coven Layla tried to communicate this point without making Kai feel as if she were trying to use her age as an advantage. "I was wondering if you need to know my history?" It was not as subtle as she would have liked to be, but it got her idea across and didn't seem very condescending.
Ignoring the banter that was happening between the other three, she was glad to pick up that Giselle was going to go back to the house and make sure no clues were left behind. The fact that she had left someone alive in the house to begin with worried Layla a bit. If she was going to kill a family, kill everyone. That was her own first rule. That way there was no one left to blow the whistle on the murders, at least not right away.
