[atrb=width,375,true][atrb=border,0,false][cs=0][bg=000000] It's always comforting to know that murder was close to filling the air. Since Sevanni had returned to Italy, there had been very little blood shed. Normally in New York it would be an all night venture with some of the little ones in the house, however; it had been slightly quieter than normal. Why you ask? Oh it's simple. They just stayed out of his damn way because Sevanni was on edge. But then another why comes into play and the answer to that was simple. Someone was going to die for their betrayal, and soon screams would emanate through the house and fill the walls within that room with blood. Another head to be mounted in the trophy room. No. This head would not end up in the room. This head would be sent to someone as a gift because he knew that eventually, a fledgling wept for their maker, no matter how bad they were hated.
This was to be the last time those boots would walk the earth, and if found, after his little trip around the world. Trying to hide in places he could not. Eventually someone told because the pay was good, and when the tail was in action, that was when another swift move by our good Sir had been done once again. The good thing about his new second as well as his bitch, was that they could travel without having to walk and ride or fly. There was no discussion as to what they were, or rather, what she was, but Annaliah and Marcus had been the best two gifts Sevanni had ever had.
"Eventually everyone has to die." A little relaxed for comfort wouldn't you say? You wouldn't know Sevanni to act nonchalant around another such as this person in particular, but they both had an understanding.
Sevanni crouched down as the man hung there by arms and neck, ready to be split from the guillotine. It reminded him of Patrick, only Patrick had been a little but more fun. Oh it was always business with Sevanni, and when you thought it had all been for pleasure, there was always some tightly wound knot ready to be unraveled and spread out like a chalk outline. Victor was most certainly lucky he made that deal to be mortal, for if he hadn't, he would have had Ali here soon after.
"They took horses here you know. Long ago. Split them to make meals and all the other little bits that mortals can fill their belly's with." Releasing the binds that held the satchel of knives with. Emi was so nice to lend him some of her more, interesting pieces. They had been admired by Sevanni's eyes and fingertips many times before, and when he had asked her, it felt like tearing a piece of her inner flesh out.
Sevanni slid a shiny and seemingly untouched blade from it's holding place, the blade curved mid way with the most sharpest point he'd ever encountered for such a small blade. But his time had come, and Sevanni didn't mind having a nice fresh taste of his blood before splitting him apart in pieces.
"You made such a nice horse.......but like all horses......you need to be put out of your misery." This one would try to be brave and bold and run his mouth just like the others. But like the others, they all found that Sevanni was a man of his word. "It's a shame really......all these years together, and unlike the others, I would have thought you to last the longest." Now he knew. Now he knew and was glad he was replaced.
"Any last words?"

For months there were Hyde had wandered about the earth with his pride sticking out of his back pocket, staying in places that were dangerous for him. exposure to the sun and all. On occasion he would find himself sharing a coffin with nothing but bone and ash, of course it didn't much bother him. Not even when the smell of death was evident. Ever since his last meet with his fledglings Hyde had been full of sorrow. Knowing his own pain would soon come to an end by his hands. He wanted to see Rosey again. See her one last time and tell her some things that he had to get out. He'd done that. He wanted to write Ali because she made it a point to never wanting to see him again. One last meal and he could face it all now, but he knew that eventually, throughout everything that had happened, he didn't want to leave the earth without seeing her. He was thankful for at least that. "I know." Hyde's words came out in a drowned out tone. The rain was pouring heavily now in the Big Apple. The streets were quiet, and all you could hear was the running of water through the streets, and drops of rain crashing to the ground. He could feel the man's body behind him, knowing it was his time. No more dodging this man who called himself Marcus. No more wondering and trying to figure out what his woman was and how she had managed to find him so fast. Even with his lack of trail. "Ya know.......everyone get's caught." Hyde knew it was true. He knew that when Sevanni signed a death order, the order was carried out. The bastard had even allowed him to go see Rosey. He had enough time to sneak that in, but he didn't want to stay long. He didn't want Sevanni or his henchman to know about his ties to her, otherwise it would be worse for her for when he was gone, and he wouldn't be around to protect her secret anymore. Sure he and Rosey always fought, but had no one realized, as good as Hyde was, he never killed her. Knew she would heal when he tore her eye out and shoved it into his mouth. Knew she would heal those wounds of battle. But to kill his own beloved? A fledgling he had fallen in love with and kept that secret for so long until recently. When she was in the pick of modeling and there in that room he had let it out. "Yeah.....I know that too. "Eventually everyone has to die." Sevanni always liked this. Talking, sounding so reassuring as if he were so relaxed nothing could phase him. Hyde was still thinking of ways to prolong the inevitable. Buy himself some time even if it meant being locked away in some pit cell. He could always break free sometime in the night. Now it was some story. Eventually his stories always led somewhere which wasn't always a good thing. In this case, it wasn't a good thing for Hyde. "You made such a nice horse.......but like all horses......you need to be put out of your misery." Made. If it hadn't been for other parties involved, he wouldn't be the only one here in this room about to be beheaded. As if others hadn't played a hand in this game. Hyde kept his mouth closed, made sure that the plan could still stay in play. He took the fall, and this was his price. "Any last words?" Then, right there his brain had kicked into gear. That was it! He could buy himself some time. Or so he thought. He hoped. There was nothing left to do. "So dove è" It was all he could think to say. Time. He needed it.

[atrb=width,375,true][atrb=border,0,false][cs=0][bg=000000] Sevanni let him have time. He gave him more time than anyone else had because they had not only been boss and worker, but they had been good friends for years and years. But his betrayal had hurt more than anything, and it was for that reason alone he was hunched over waiting to have his head chopped off. But then he had these ideas. Like, having his time bided as if he actually stood a chance. Not even his next few words could change his mind.
"So dove è" Son of a bitch!
There was this snicker on his face as if someone had just split a switch in his brain that was going to make him crack a spark and snap. No, it was a trick. It had to be.
Now brows rose and he was a little intrigued and pissed off as well. Hyde spoke those words in Italian. He knew where she was. She.....there was only one person Sevanni had been interested in for quite some time, and this wasn't one of those women who simply touched his heart as well as his bedsheets or his dick. This was someone he had no sexual ties to. Someone who was far more dangerous to him that anyone else in the world. Having only seen just the two for specific reasons, she being one of them, he had searched high and low without a trace to them, but her....
"If you think I'm lying.....I can prove it." He most certainly could try. But this wasn't a time for games and fun. "Why would I care if you can prove it?" Sevanni crouched low to him at eye level. "When I can see it in your blood." His words sounded husky, like the sick darkening sense that some venomous snake would come spouting out from him somewhere to take a chunk out of Hyde.
Sevanni took hold of the bladed weapon in his hand with a much firmer grasp, moving it outward and into Hyde's throat where his adam apple was. Cutting it just to it's side, and as his blood began to flow from his neck, Sevanni had trudged in, gripping Hyde's hair and placing lips over his throat. Taking in the blood and forcing Hyde to reveal his memories of her. He would find out in his own way, whether Hyde liked it or not.

It felt as though walls had went crashing down on him as soon as fangs struck skin and pierced it like another sort of piercing one might wish to encounter just for the pure torture of it. Hyde knew that when Sevanni bore teeth, it hurt him far more than it did his victims, but to feel the pain of it all, that was not something Hyde wanted to have to deal with.
His mouth opened, Hyde's, and a torturous cry boomed from his voice box, reverberating through not only that room that held them both, but the halls and off into the far distance. His muscles tightened, fists balled in powerful clenches, only to spread out for fingers to stretch as far as they could.
His teeth had been so pressed against each other, Hyde thought for sure they were going to break. And then he had let go. He let go because there was no other choice but to do just that, and from there on out, visions would soon come to press and more information that he had cared to share would come in insurmountable waves.
The beginning plot of why he betrayed Sevanni. Rose slipping through his fingers purposely, all because she was reborn from him, and let us not forget to mention the secret meeting between both enemy and lover.
There would be no telling on howHyde would die for sure, but he did know one thing was for certain. His head would end up on Sevanni's wall along with the others, and no one but him would know he was gone.
He would never see Rose again. Follow her tracks and keep an eye out on her. Her darling sister and so far passed his range that there had been no time for bonding with her.
It was a cold thing. Sure, but Hyde was a bounty hunter who never gave up until his job was done.
Good Night Moon

Unexplainable.
Hyde had so much depth to him that it was an incredible rush springing through Sevanni when his blood entered his body. The brain working overtime to gather all of the info, and it had been all thanks to Hyde's weakness. Sevanni knew that for some reason Rosey was special, he just didn't know how much. And, if Hyde was so good at his job, why hadn't he caught Rosey and destroyed her? Now he knew why. The two were connected. That was why he was never able to collect his bounty.
Sevanni had drew back and crouched low on palms and toes. His head lowered as he drunk it all in. Licking lips from the sloppy grasp of Hyde. This was considered one of Sevanni's more messier times. He was clean. Always took care of things when business meant business. This was messy business.
A growl emerged, bringing himself up to stand and look at Hyde lowly with such an evil glint, it would have been hard to not call him Satan. "So that's why you took the bounty." Sevanni mulled out with anger and disgust. Not to just that. Oh there was much more.
Hyde's knowledge of Imogine and her blood. The plan that was taking place between those within the house. And not to mention, a meeting with Sevanni's own son that Sevanni couldn't simply see. If he had continued, he would have killed Hyde for sure.
"You are all damned." He let out. "You'll rot here until I see fit.......Your head will surely come off for this one." It was a given now. He would die and Sevanni would have great joy in offing him.
He turned, the door in his path opening soon after without another word from Sevanni. Slamming the metal door shut to leave from down there. He needed to clean up and restore his head before anything else. Not only that, he wanted to check in on Imogine and make sure she was safe and sound. If there was a mark out on her, all bets were off soon after confirmation. He'd have to call Cree and get her eyes out into the world.

[atrb=width,400,true][atrb=border,0,false][cs=0][bg=000000] She despised twins, let alone brothers. A soft sigh escaped past her lips as she strode through Italy, her shapely black jeans and plain white t hugging her small little frame perfectly. Why Rose was here, was beyond her knowledge. She just felt immediately drawn to it. The only downfall she was aware of was the fact that Kane and Abel were here as well. Hence the hate for twins and family members. She was looking for a meal, actually, just strolling the streets. She ate plenty in Italy, if not too much for her small little belly and complexion to handle. A strange scent smacked her nicely upside the face; the smell of fresh blood. Fresh blood that mixed nicely with a scent she’d grown to hate yet love unconditionally. Hyde? her word came out in a small whisper, her eyes snapping to attention along with her nose. Hyde? she whispered again before breaking in a sprint, following the scent.
The scent came to a stop at a home of some sort. Rose furrowed her eyebrows, unfamiliar and confused. Why would Hyde be here, let alone messing with animal blood? No, that wasn’t animal blood, it smelled much too different.
Hyde? she called softly, her voice barely audible. Looking to her sides, she saw nothing. She’d just have to break through that lovely little door that was holding her back. Rose placed her hand on the doorknob, breaking it with a flick of her wrist. She thought it was almost too easy and a little pathetic. Swinging the door closed behind her, she continued tracking his scent. It led to a basement? Why the hell was Hyde eating in a basement? Even he had a little more class than that.
Snapping the lock and handle on that door, she continued down the stairs, the smell of Hyde and blood growing stronger. A new scent crossed her sensitive little nose; Sevanni. Rose froze, fear striking her. Hyde and Sevanni together, blood between the two. This was her; this was about Rose. She came to a clearing, a shrill shriek coming from within her. The sight of Hyde, his neck slit, bleeding from a bite wound as well. Hyde? she cried, her Yorkshire accent hoarse and low. Hands moved to her lips to cover them, as she walked towards him. Hyde, the man who had made her life hell; stalked her, eaten her god damned eye. But seeing him like this, made tears spring at her eyes. Hyde, she started, her hand over his throat. he did this to you, didn’t he? she bit her lip, holding his head, looking up at his arms.
She needed to get him down, there was no way he would be conscience for much longer. She yanked on the chains that bound his wrists, trying to break them. Hyde, I’m going to get you out of this. she pulled on the shackles once more, grunting in disbelief. Rose growled in annoyance, cradling his head in her newly bloodied hands, petting his hair backwards. you’re going to be fine, I promise. I’m going to get you out of here, if it’s the last thing I do. she whispered kissing the top of his forehead. How had this happened, let alone why? Oh right, the fact that her sire had become a bounty hunter, taken her bounty hunter, but didn’t kill her. Sevanni just so happened to be the one with the bounty order, Hyde being the one to take it. No, his name wasn’t Hyde. Anthony… she choked out a sob, holding him, swaying slightly. How could this have happened?
Rose looked up again, working the defiant shackles once more. She needed a key. She scampered around the basement, looking for just that. She also kept an eye on Hyde and the basement door. His wounds were still fresh, which probably meant that Sevanni was still around, if not lurking. Moving back to Hyde, she lifted his chin slightly. do you know where a key is, so that I can get these shackles undone? her voice was soft, barely even above a whisper. Her eyes worriedly cast back to the basement door, praying nobody walk down at that moment.

Shopping was just apart of a sport that Symphony loved to take part in. The eloquence in which she did tended to her feeding was beautiful. A nice sweep of the neck or any part therein that had the most easiest and succulent draw of blood did the trick too, but she did love the neck. Cliche of course, which is okay, she didn't mind.
For so long Symphony had been tending to herself, and for so long she had adjusted to her own lifestyle. A melody played over the surround sound speakers that were scattered among the shopping floor. It was modern, something with rhythem that she hadn't heard before. Symphony was more into the seventies music. A flower child and still enjoying the roarin twenties and early on pre-Beatles phase. An opera girl who could hang out at Woodstock and be just as happy as she was the day she had learned about her abilities.
Hyde had taught her everything he knew, which, now a days wasn't a whole hell of a lot, but back then it was her everything. The only thing she had that could be worked with. Granted she was still fresh, and in her own past it had been granted that Symphony had been his first ever creation, but others know it isn't true. As old as he was, and as young as Trotter was, there was no possible way. However; it was believable, and she believed it.
The lady in the store was wonderful. Everything Symphony admired in a quality woman such as that lady there. She had fair skin, beautiful auburn hair and her eyes glinted a hint of green gems, though they vanished into the thick of dark evergreen. Her lips seemed as if they were carved to a perfect plump perfection. Painted pink with a glint of shimmer. You could tell she was a Cover Girl even when she was in her mid thirties.
"Is there anything else I can do for you Miss?" She asked with a smile that caused Trotter to smile. Usually people called her Trotter when it came to her vampire side. It was simply because of how she left things after she was done, and simply trotted away with a nice ease of casual elegance.
"Thank you, no." Trotter retorted as hands were daintily placed on her lap. Legs slanted to her side rather than crossed. She was not opposed to such a thing, but in a place like this, ladies of a certain nature sat a certain way, and Symphony was not above blending in with mortals.
The only thing that kept her appetite at bay had been thoughts of her daughter, but the blood always took hold and she just couldn't hold it in anymore. Which had been bad for nights like the night she sat in that store, people were scarce and the sales lady was all alone at the hour before close.
"Actually." Trotter started as she daintily rose to her feet where she stood about equal height to the woman. Symphony had already assessed the difference in their measurements, so her size was no shock.
Thoughts of paper flowers being tossed into the air approached her brain as it was accompanied by garments flying up into the air n miraculous colors, and before the woman knew what hit her, fangs were sunk deep into the womans throat.
Enjoyment in tasting her blood and fulfilling her appetite had been enough to set her body and mind at ease. Now that it had been knocked out of her system she could carouse the streets and continue on her merry way, oh but no. It always had to be something.
The next thing that happened was something that wouldn't be able to avoided. His face. His body. Strung up like some antique prisoner. All these years of little to no contact had started to fade, but it had been in that very moment where she had felt closer to him. As if his pain was suddenly her pain.
She felt it, right there in the pit of her stomach. Like a knot ready to be pulled on more, only to snap at the ledge of carrying someone's weight.
"Hyde." She whispered out in a hushed breath. As if everything within her had stopped working only to focus in on his thoughts. See what he saw, feel what he felt. But it was always so useless when he had shut her out and released her. If he was in pain, and she had felt it, that meant it was bad, and she had to go to him. She had to follow the trail and find her father. Find her maker.
Wherever he was.

Hyde sent out his signals. As all or most vampires who had fledglings had. Letting their young ones know something is wrong. They would know when he was dead, and they would know that they could no longer seek him out for guidance.
Dominic. A young soldier that he stumbled upon pre-Nam. Jessie. He was a fool that Hyde had taken too in a bar brawl. His stamina was incredible and he knew about the world he did not know himself in that time. Something he couldn't understand. Deidra was a dark soul that he simply put out of her worldly misery. She had left soon after on her own because it was her time to do her bidding. His beloved Symphony and Rose. The only two he had truly admired, adored, enjoyed, and suppressed.
Two had died so they weren't really of great interest, but at least the others would know. They would know and they would mourn should that time come. Now he was hunched in the brink of all of this chaos that he placed upon himself. This was one for the book, that was for sure.
Hyde hadn't forgotten what it was like to be bled by Sevanni. It was hard to forget such a strong bite, and how those fangs tore into flesh when he was angry......He remembered when he marked him. The only thoughts he could keep hidden had been those true inner thoughts of how he felt toward Rose, and how Ali had been involved in the entire process. Sure, her face had been seen, but there had been nothing much behind it to be used as good, helpful information. After all, that was what Sevanni was looking for. Useful information.
When fangs were withdrawn from his flesh Hyde had relaxed into himself whilst taking deep intakes of air. as if he needed it. But in thought, and in his own mind, the mind did take control of many things and breathing air as mortals had, it was second nature to do so. One can only stop after so long.
Blood. His own blood had covered the floor below him and Sevanni had been a quaking mess. The look in his eye had told him that Sevanni already now knew too much. The betrayal. The people behind it, and the reason why. And at that very moment, his imperfect life was already starting to fall around him.
His eyes closed. Blocking out anything that would confirm him being alive. Having the enemy know your dark and dirty secrets was like letting Hitler take over every single country. You just didn't tell your shit. It made him a snitch in some way, but it was by force.
I’m going to get you out of this."
Was all he heard. He swore he had heard Rose throughout the memories of her, but it had to have been all in his mind. He was disoriented. Confused and damn near drained of his life source. He needed a pick me up and he needed to get free of those binds.
"Ro......Rose?"
Hyde had started with a faintness to him. As if he was in the hospital coming out of a coma.
you’re going to be fine, I promise. I’m going to get you out of here, if it’s the last thing I do.
He was so lost. Her touch had caused his head to lean into her touch. To relax and let fate take it's course. If it were real, he would be okay. He knew that.
"Rose."
He started once more. There was no way it was real. Rose of all people come to help him. It would mean she was different toward him. As if she cared about him, and more so, had thought about all he had confessed to her.
A kiss atop his forehead and he let his eyes close for a final time. He was no more good.
Anthony…
He hated that. When she said his real name. Hyde had many names, but Rose was the only one who knew his true first name. His given name at birth. She had been the one that he tried to protect from the asshole who put him where he was in that very moment. He had hurt her sure, and perhaps she was hurt by his actions. But it was better than slicing her head off or staking her, or placing her in a sunlit prison. God forgive him.
do you know where a key is, so that I can get these shackles undone?
Shit! He didn't even remember the crap that was in the room or where the door was.
"I uh........"
Air was released from his lungs, and when he did speak, or, try to speak in a lengthy way, it hurt his throat some to do so.
"It's.........."
A squint of the eyes let others know he was in pain. He couldn't help it.
"There."
His hand rose slightly, index finger pointed outward in the direction nearest the tray where Sevanni's tools for sadism were. Laying perfectly on the silver tray was a nice little skeletal key that fit every single lock in that dungeon basement.
"Hurry."
He let out with a groan. If she was real, and she could help him escape, then he would be okay and be indebted to Rose indefinitely.

[atrb=width,400,true][atrb=border,0,false][cs=0][bg=000000] She’d never had the best relationship with Hyde, Anthony, whatever his alias was. He’d hunted her down, pinned by Sevanni. Rose had wanted to kill him, he’d hurt her. He’d thrown her through a wall, torn out and eaten her eye. Call it the good times, but it wasn’t for her. She’d sworn to him to never contact her again, never try to meet with her again. That was the past, and she hadn’t heard from him in so long. It was unusual for him to just up and follow her commands; which lead to her suspicion to begin with. Rose denied it though, denying that anything was wrong with Hyde that anything had happened to him. Absently assuming he was granted another bounty. Now, seeing this, she cursed herself for being so naïve and stupid. Anthony may have had other bounties, but he always seemed to find his way back to Rose. Always. And then with the abrupt drop off the earth…it was unforgivable. His poor head leaning into her hand, made her mind collapse.
How could she have let this happen? Chewing on the inside of her lip, she listened to him say her name, so painfully. It’s me, I’m here. Everything is going to be alright. I’m here. she cooed his name, cradling his head gently in her hands. She’d never burst in and played the hero, usually just the villain. Hyde needed her; he needed her to save him. By god would she fail him. The broken fragments in his speech made her expression one of sympathy. How dare Sevanni do this to him! He who failed Rose, when Sevanni didn’t have the backbone to come after her himself. Frowning with distaste, she would make it her goal to make Sevanni suffer worse than poor Hyde. Through pursed lips, she cooed him to silence. He needn’t be wasting his voice, it may come in handy later. shh, don’t speak.
She followed to where he pointed, clumsily grabbing the key from its place. Fumbling with it, Rose undid the shackles, letting them go as silently as she could. Once the captors were undone, she caught him; her hands placed on his torso and back, steadying what appeared to be a broken man. The first thing she did was sob out softly, repositioning so that he was in little pain as possible. What she did next, was shower him in affectionate gestures; gentle kisses and caresses. She blamed herself for the situation he was in.
I’m so sorry, I should have known. This is all my fault, her words were spoken in a soft murmur, as Rose migrated them towards the door she had just come from. Your wounds…oh god your wounds.
Rose was starting up the stairs, moving slowly as to not cause disruption in the shoes she was wearing, raising her voice too loudly, or letting her movements be detected at all. Who knew where Sevanni was, or if this was just some trap. Her arms moved around Hyde, so that he was leaning over onto her for support. How she had let this slip by, was unbeknownst to her. Slowly she closed her eyes, cursing the vampire who had made this happen. Made Anthony even find her in the first place; she hadn’t wanted to be found. Looking up at him, she bumped him lightly and gently, to make sure he hadn’t gone stiff on her. Anthony come on, stay awake. I need you. was that what he wanted to hear? That Rose needed him? Blinking, she took another few steps up, being as gentle as humanly possible. Whenever he had left her, broken and hurt; she never liked to be handled roughly afterwards. Rose would need to give him the same treatment here.

There was nothing left for Hyde to believe in until that very moment when Rose had tried to calm him. He swore he was slipping into the passages and folds of an inhumane death. Now, the only person in the world, other than Sevanni he had believed to truly hate his very being, was there like an angel under the halo. Waiting to enter them both through the gates of heavan.
I’m so sorry, I should have known. This is all my fault, Bollux! It was his fault. His fault for stealing away her life, only to push her away from his and stalk her how he had by no choice of his own. It had all been a hoax to keep her alive, now, she was saving his life and blaming herself? No, that just couldn't happen.
"No." He managed to stop both their actions. Strength enough to make his arm raise for a bloody stained hand let fingers trace along her jaw line. "I'm the one to blame. I made you what you are, and I kept this secret for far too long." The two of them. Connected. That was what raised Sevanni's brows. That was what made Sevanni want more of his blood as he drank and drank.
It didn't take long for them to break free of that room. Up the dingy steps that she must have come from. There was no way Hyde could miss the plans of the house like this, but in a haze, he had no choice but to trust in Rose. He was unaware of such a path, but luckily for them, she hadn't.
It was then where he felt unstable and didn't have the strength to walk. He needed a human to re-energize him. Rose just wouldn't do, he needed to drain a body fully in order to get that fulfillment. Anthony come on, stay awake. I need you. His leg had slipped and she held him up. Her small frame undermining his own.
His arm wrapped over her shoulder, certain that more was to come. He just had to break out of victim mode and break away. He'd be a fool to think he could go back and fight Sevanni, for now, he had no choice but to move along and away from danger. He was glad Rose had come. He preferred it over anyone else.
"There's a place in Cambridge." Cambridge hadn't been too far off. It was a mapless town. Meaning, it wasn't on a map because no one lived there. Which was true, which made it the best place for refuge until he could regenerate.
"We must go there....It's the only safe place within his region." Just outside of Italy, right before Rome, the perfect place to hide. So to speak.
Hyde was ready. Ready for the night sky to flash before his eyes. Ready to be free of this dreaded place. Of that dreaded man. He nearly died in there. Sevanni's big mistake. Underestimating his fledglings.

[atrb=width,400,true][atrb=border,0,false][cs=0][bg=000000] Why he had stopped, was her question. His life and hers was at stake; didn’t he realize this? Her hands till resting gently onto him, Rose listened with intent. Normally, she would have shied or batted away the hand that traced her jaw, but now she couldn’t. Was he really saying those words; was he finally taking a responsibility for what he had done? Any other time it would have tickled her pink; but now she only worried about getting him out of here alive. Possibly at the risk of her own life. Her hand smoothed over the crown of his forehead, Shh, now’s not the time, lost love. in a sick, twisted, way they were like the classic tale of Romeo and Juliet. Not able to be conjoined in life, but in death. These two were to be conjoined in Rose’s living life; but not her living death. So maybe they weren’t like Romeo and Juliet, or Casanova. They were their own tale of star crossed whatever relationship status they were. Confused, was it? Or possibly something else? Either way, now was not the time to think about it.
Hyde needed Rose to be strong, strong and powerful. She needed to mend to Hyde, find him a meal, tend to his wounds, and be the caretaker he needed. Pushing out the door and into the foyer, she paused to smell around. Sevanni’s stench was everywhere but no fresh scent was wafting back to her; or anyone else’s. Cambridge. She was supposed to get them to Cambridge on foot. Was it humanly possible, for well a mortal? Yes, they’d be utterly exhausted though. Peering down slightly at her feet, Rose cursed the amount of time she relied on heels; now wasn’t one of this times. But she needed to get Anthony to safety at all costs. Alright, Cambridge it is. There’s the smell of two vampires scouting the area, so we need to be quick and get out, can you handle it? he didn’t have much of a choice though, as she pushed the door open, stepping into the night sky.
Rose looked both ways to see none, and moved them across and out of the perimeter of the estate. She swore the next time she saw Sevanni, he would feel a lashing of her tongue or hand. Her feet were light, almost as if she was carrying both their weight. Past the road she had traveled to get her, around the area she had her encounter with two sniveling twins that were Aubrey’s past toys, was when she slowed. She turned to look at him, moving her body slowly from over him; cautious to see if he could stand by himself.

Hyde had continued to be the follower. For once in his life he had actually went with instincts that were unlike his usual instincts. Rose could ruin his whole world by getting him to a safe haven, only to do unto him what he did to her. He admitted that the things he did to her were quite fucked up. Did he regret it? The hurt and pain sure, but when it came to keeping their secret, no, to that extent he did not.
And so she carried him with all that she could, his arm hanging over her upper frame and he still continued to try not to put all of his weight against her. His free arm rose to wipe away the sweat above his lip, only to retract with blood smears following the wetness of his persperation.
There’s the smell of two vampires scouting the area, so we need to be quick and get out, can you handle it? She had to have been talking about the new brute Sevanni had to replace Hyde and the bitch he fucked on a nightly basis. A nod came about, assuring her that he could buck up if need be, he was a military man after all.
Once they were near a clear after moving into the open sky, Rose had checked to see if Hyde could stand all his own, his feet standing heavily on the ground with his might ready to stand firm. "I will be fine." A nod yes came about once again. "Your strength gives me strength." Again he was not being himself, but when you were down and it was clearly evident, you just had to succumb to the harsh reality that sometimes you had to be Mr. Nice Guy.
Hyde knew it would be a short while until they reached Cambridge. Some of their time would lift with a vast range of motions. Hyde on occasion during their walk had managed to move quite faster than the slower pace he had been walking prior to that. The more he had traveled away from Italy, the better he started to feel. Still, it wasn't enough.
"There." He pointed downward from atop the hill, arm and index finger extended placed outward down towards a small cottage that was good enough to house two vampires in need of a hide out, not to mention, the need to hide from the daylight. He had pushed forward before her only to move fluidly down the hill. Still he held to her. His hand placed to hers by not his own actions, but because it was the right time. A natural reaction.
It took ten minutes to get from the top of that hill and to the front door of the cottage. It's roof was still in tact, the windows darkened by an earlier visit of refuge. The grass was dead and only dirt remained, and the wood was deteriorating slowly but surely.
The knob was turned and the door was pushed open with a creak. It needed oil, but it was a good way to know whether or not there was a stranger in the house. He pulled her in behind him. Even though he was the weaker of the two, and he knew Rose was a feisty little bitch when she needed to be, but he needed her, and he still felt the urge to protect her.
Clear
A fast release of breath was released from empty lungs. Heavily resting on the dusty couch in the open room off to the left. His legs stretching out as far as they could as he stretched. Retracting to a slump, his head lifted for eyes to look up at Rose with a bit of confusion. He wanted an answer.
"Why did you come for me?" He was confused now more than ever because she had tried to release herself from him, but it was unacceptable. Until recently. He couldn't watch over her because he was running only to be held captive. "You could have ignored my warning and left me there......I thought you didn't want anything to do with me." The last part he said with sadness as he lowered his head. The least he could know was why.

[atrb=width,400,true][atrb=border,0,false][cs=0][bg=000000] To her gratitude and disbelief; they had gone unnoticed. The only part Rose wished she had been around to see; was Sevanni’s reaction when he realized his chew toy was missing from his cage. He’d know it was her instantly; her bodacious and winsome scent would crawl so delicately under his nose. He’d be fuming without a doubt. But would he be so blinded by his rage that he’d immediately take off and follow their scents? No. not even Sevanni was that stupid. He would possibly wait, stalk them and snatch Hyde and blunder Rose to no end. The thought of his flushed face made her smile a sickening grin. She hadn’t see Sevanni in awhile. If he wanted to meet up for a little showdown, he’d be in for a surprise. Hyde’s words shook her from cynical thoughts and images, the simple statement of strength. Your strength gives me strength. she would have stopped, except he was depending on her. Rose needn’t let herself appeared shocked by that statement of his; one of the kindest and possibly only words he had ever spoken to her. I’m glad to hear that… was her simple and curt reply.
When Rose had caught sight of the shack they would be staying in; she grimaced. It wasn’t the Hilton, let alone her own extravagant and large home. But seeing as how they weren’t going for the obvious, this would do. She found though, staying in a Hilton would be less obvious. Rose knew people who knew people who would make sure that they stayed well hidden. But then again, dealing with Sevanni meant you’d have to have a sturdy backbone of people; she didn’t know if she had that in Italy. With raised eyebrows, she looked at him oddly from behind as he took her hand. Overly affectionate was beginning to take hold, was it? Rose mentioned this not, but followed him down the hill and to the hideout. Rose looked around suspiciously as they reached the front door, before being yanked in by his hand.
She watched him move carefully, before beginning to look around for something to clean his wounds with. How soon would he need blood? How soon would she begin to hunger herself? I can go grab something to eat if you want… he words came out slowly, her heavily accented British drawl echoing off the walls. It was still hard for her to fathom taking care of the man she so eagerly loathed with passion. After everything he had done to her, everything he had taken from her. The night he had bitten her in faux passion, she was still taking care of him. Her wide cerulean eyes blinked, but turned back to him in mid stretch. Without saying words, she crossed her arms over her nimble chest and torso, shifting weight onto on hip. The look said she could toss him around as payback, the expression on her face almost excited to do so, masked by annoyance as her eyebrow stood arched. Rose blew some blond hair from her face out of her lips, her expression not softening one bit as he inquired her presence here. "Why did you come for me?" "You could have ignored my warning and left me there......I thought you didn't want anything to do with me."
With a soft squint of her eyebrows, she contemplated his words. Why had she come for him? It’s nothing unconditional if you think that. I came for one sole purpose; to make sure my sire didn’t die. I loathe you with utter sickness, but you are my sire as well as my first love. That will never change despite my trying. I have every right to leave you here, hell I could kill you if I wanted, her lips were parted slightly to reveal her white set of teeth and canines. I also have every right to hand you back over to Sevanni, and join in the decapitating of you. her salty lips came together with a soft exhale. You ate my fucking eye. that she would never get over no matter how much time had passed between them. With a calming breath and a swift close of her eyes she continued. But, I know, somewhere deep inside of that bottomless soul of yours, you would have came to save me if I was in your position. Or at least someone else would if you were the one doing the torturing. Saying that, it is my job to come to your side if you are in need of help. I owe you something along those lines. Though you ushered me unwillingly and blindly into this life and cursed me with this forever, her hands wisped over her small, narrow complex with a tilt of her head. This was what was keeping her from having a steady relationship with any specie; her body. So small, narrow and easily breakable, bullshit. I am going to keep you here on this hellhole with me, so you can suffer with me. by now she had strode over to him, her hand swishing through his dark hair. I think it’s only fair. she smiled her signature bitch smile. Closed and small, barely pushing skin back.
