A little yellow finch scurried up the arm of my everchanging vampire. It's leaps were matched with fluttering wings, until it perched contently on the shoulder of Lisabet. Dressed in a blood-colored, short, skin-tight dress, she stalked through the forest on bare feet. Silently she moved, a graceful scene of olive-toned skin interruped by the contrasting hair that cascaded down her back. It was as black as the night sky that hid behind the moon'd bright rays tonight. It was big, scene-like hair... a messy look, yet every piece purposefully placed.
The small bird that hid itself in her flowing hair seemed out of place... It was the remnant of the character that took home in Lisabet's body before the current one. It started peeping, a screeching voice that reverberated inside the female vamp's mind. It chanted: "I am the ruler, I am the keeper, I am your master..." But it's cries were cut short as long white fingers closed around the avian throat. Crimson fingernails shined in Lisabet's face as the held the the finch to here eyes. The stupid stare of the beady black eyes sent her over the edge, and whith a quick flex of her hand, the finch squeaked its last. Tossing it at the base of a French tree, she giggle, a haunting sound that echoed through the emptiness of the forest.
Suddenly, the urge to feed was upon her. Stopping for an instant, her lungs inhaled and analyzed the scents around her. The air was cool today, but not harshly cold like it had been. It felt good in her lungs as she breathed in and out softly again, listening. Her ears picked up the sound of cars passing, and her nose confirmed the presence of gas-guzzling cars. Jumping into a leap, she ran as fast as she could. After a few miles of easy travel, Lisabet stepped out onto the shoulder of a two-lane, narrow road. Smiling with perfect white, yet sinister teeth, she started a clumsy-looking walk that would appear normal to any human that saw her. Though she hardly looked normal trecking down that road in a short, skanky dress and bare- yet clean- feet.
