Mondays were never fun. Not when she was human, and certainly not when she was walking among the damned. Although the moon was exceptionally gorgeous tonight she could never really shake that feeling of today being a day of stress. Humans who were stressed did not put up a huge fight when she took their lives. Boo. She loved a good kicker. Laughing at the thought she ran her slender fingers along the leaves of the bushes she walked past. The forest felt like home. The trees sheltered her and the noises of animals moving about comforted her oddly. Maybe it was because she had rarely any comfort anymore. Scoffing at the thought she walked out into a small clearing where a long sat by a stream. The moonlight danced playfully along the water and it lit her spirits up a bit. Smiling she undid her leather jacket tossing it onto a tree branch. Her black skinny jeans would definatly restrict her dancing but when the mood strikes she was not one to say no. Pulling an elastic out of her pocket she pulled her red hair back into a high ponytail. The feel if it whipping in her face was not very comftorable.
"Monsieur, tu est adorable" She whispered to the moon as she slipped her feet out of her flats. The cold dirt felt good between her bare toes and she sighed happily letting the feeling engulf her. Wiggling her toes one last time she bowed to the moon and began to sway her hips as she swayed. The wind rustled the trees and she smiled as it felt like the forest was dancing with her. Laughing she twirled in a circle and leapt onto the log swaying her body with the wind. God she loved dancing. It felt like it was releasing her soul. All too soon the wind stopped and she was left listening to the trickle of water coming from the creek. Sighing she slipped her shoes back on and took a seat on the log. Bugger. Just when she was having fun. What is dancing without music?
Leaning back she looked up at the moon and smirked. It was really a gorgeous night. And the moon would bring in lots of lovers to the streets of Paris today. Lovers. She growled and kicked a stone into the creek. Not everyone can be as fortunate as them. Most had to work for it. Humans are allowed to walk freely whenever. She had to hide from light and feed from the flesh to stay alive. Curses. Well sitting here cursing the humans and her damned soul was not going to get her anywhere. She might as well do something productive. Standing up she looked at her reflection in the creek. Her green eyes stood out lovely when her hair was red. Standing at a clean five foot eleven she stuck out when walking with the humans. French women seemed to be short while she was tall. Something which caused her great discomfort. Most hunting for her had to be stealth. She could not blend in like some vampires.
Grabbing her jacket she emerged back into the maze of trees. Staying here was not going to do much. There might be a couple macking out near by and god knows she never denied them. They practically just let you come at them, humans. Its almost too easy sometimes. They crave sex. Kiss there neck and the human is in your arms. God was it really going to be this easy forever?

[atrb=width,375,true][atrb=border,0,false][cs=0][bg=000000] It was always fun to watch humans move about in the night. This new year, this.....two thousand and ten, it was the year of High Midnight, and when the night came for the full moon to rise blue, it would be such a waste to not devour the city of Giselle. Oh what a lovely moment that would be. Maybe he'd sick the girls on Lars just because he did what he did. Now that Sevanni had regained all of his....assets, he was more pissed that Lars had the balls to do what he did rather than the act it's self. He was a vampire. An immortal, and for that everything had been as good as new.
Sevanni now hated Paris more so than ever. At first it had been because that was the only place his girls wanted to travel. It was their home, but the constant was a pain. Then there was Giselle and Lars. Knowing they lived in the wretched city was just more topping on the blood cake. Now why was he here again? Oh yes, business as usual. He attended his little meeting with his analysis people. If this worked out well, he could have an entire network of new strand vampires running around under his wing. If the experiment failed, then who knew then? Perhaps a little town down and a colony to be remade. No big deal. This company climaxed in funds like no other business, only it wasn't so visible to the world of those who were far too nosy.
The woods were a good place to let out Nala. Nala was one of his bigger pets that he took to Paris whenever he went. She was a black panther, no bigger than a mountain lion and she'd forever stay that way. So on this night, he grabbed up the strong thick leash and plastered her studded collar around her neck and took off down Vinton trail and headed into the woods. They went back quite a ways. Plenty f land behind the home in which he inhabited temporarily. It was one of the nest houses that accompanied the privilages that covered the grounds of a vampire. If mortals only knew.
Nala stopped in her tracks, sniffing the air mid way through the walk, and Sevanni too had picked up on the scent. Another vampire, how odd. There were many vampires about in Paris and all of France really, but to sense someone here, and now? This was new, seeing as how he had never found another vampire back here. No, it had always been on the street or in an alley. A party even.
He made strides forward after telling Nala in Italian to go make her way around and do her duty. She was a respectful cat who did as she pleased, but she took orders well to the man who treated her kindly. Though, she stayed away from most of those around the house. Some of his people were slightly intimidated by the size of her teeth, and Nala knew that Sevanni wasn't afraid to make her a dinner for them.
"If I didn't know any better, I'd say that you were rather sad." He said a little heartfelt like, though he was striking up a conversation to see whether or not she was a hostile vampire, or someone who knew their place.

Oh moonlight, though art a bitch when one is trying to hide. Zoey rolled her eyes at her own sarcasm and kept moving in and out of the trees. The wind had picked up which also would screw up her hunting skills. Good thing she was not hunting something that cared. God humans really were to easy. And it was always more fun when they begged. Or were confused. She kept walking through the trees humming silently. To a human it would sound like nothing but if there was something out here besides her well then it would give her away. She had not seen another vampire, besides her brother, in ages. It was like she was alone in this god awful world. For years she searched and it seemed she would search more more years to come.
Stopping in her steps she turned around. Odd. It almost sounded like she heard distant footsteps. But who could be out in the forest at this time...not someone. Perhaps an animal. But why did she get an odd sense of not being alone anymore? Shrugging off the feeling she quickened her step until she reached a deeper part of the forest. For some reason she felt more secure here. Like she could hide away from the world...ya FAT CHANCE. Maybe some time alone would do her good. Even though time alone was not a rarity for her. Rolling her eyes she looked back up at the moon and sighed.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a husky voice. She turned quickly to see a handsome man standing before her. Correction, a vampire. How had she not sensed him? Perhaps the wind had drawn away his scent...or she was definatly not expecting to see another of her kind. Standing up straight she ran her eyes once over him. He seemed to assume correctly. "Is it that obvious?" she mused and let a smile curve along her lips. Her stance became neutral and she let herself relax..a bit. Was this man a friend or foe? God knows she had made mistakes in the past. Backing up she tried to read him better. But her social skills were not to keen lately. She had been alone for quite sometime.
Smiling she offered her hand slowly tilting her head. "I'm Zoey." Oh why not. She had nothing to lose and all to gain. Giving him a bit trust might lead to something new and exciting or bring her down even lower if that was possible. Maybe she was just starved for companionship. Of course what goes up must come down. This man seemed to have an aurora of power though that sent a shiver down her spine. Let the socializing begin.

[atrb=width,375,true][atrb=border,0,false][cs=0][bg=000000] "Is it that obvious?" He couldn't really tell about her features. It was rather darkly out, the moonlight only shed it's light when cloud cover was being so kind as to step out of the way. It was then where he had noticed her lovely features, that hair, oh it was like sparking something bad inside of Sevanni just to see it. He had a thing for red heads. It was one thing he and the Ice Queen shared. Their love for red heads.
Natural or not, the color was divine and he rather liked it. Brows raised to her retort, sure it was. not too much so, but her demeanor spoke many tales. Sevanni was one for character. Seeing the obvious and trying to configure what it was about such a person, or rather, being, that made him drawn to certain people.
Here he was out for a stroll with his Cat and what did you know? Another vampire. Lately Sevanni was beginning to have a distaste for others that weren't made from him, however; the more and more he gave to the tri-pod, the more and more he felt disconnected from others. It had been the main reason why he marked Shaden. Emiste was his next destination, and not for too long, Ixandra and Kira. If they were good girls."Just a little." He teased.
"I'm Zoey." Did she just.....lower her head and hold out her hand? Oh this was quite intriguing. His entire body flourished with a vampyric chill, his form moving toward her with little to no effort, Nala was at a good distance away and she'd not interfere when he was with another. She had stayed her pace when he went wits to wits with Lars in the park, she'd do the same here unless she got tired and or bored.
His hand rose and took hold of hers, turning her wrist and bringing her hand toward his face for lips to touch flesh there at those veins on her wrists before he smiled partly and looked into Green orbs. Red heads and green eyes, a combination he admired greatly. But was it natural? Was it real or dyed and contacts added? Women did that now a days. Something he made sure none of his people did for they were already beautiful in their own forms.
After kissing her wrist with her palm facing him, he let his hold on her falter. "Sevanni Black..." Plain and simple. This had been the usual thing one said to another. It had been said for many centuries. How polite she was. "I must say......no one has ever done that before." You mean lower their head respectfully and offer a hand? A hand sure, but never the lowering of the head. Not a stranger. Someone who knew him sure, knew that he had some sort of standing in the world. Oh but a woman's first time, this was wonderful.
"Where do you come from?" Surely she didn't belong in such a stuck up place. Perhaps she had. Nite and Dae hadn't been too French like in their politeness, not with him anyway. He asked this though as he moved about her form. It wasn't challenging, but he did like to take a gander at a nice piece of packaging before unwrapping the gift. What gift did she behold?

She had not noticed the panther. What an elegant creature. She adored panthers. Tilting her head she looked at the creature as it stayed its distance. Her eyes focused on the man before her. His hand took hers and she raised a curious brow as he kissed her wrist. She shivered at the action. My my my, a gentlemen. Tension decreased and she smiled as he spoke his name. Sevanni. Interesting. She lifted her chin acknowledging him. What was a polite man like him doing in this stuck up town. Yes she was born and raised here, but that did not mean she had to follow the social manners of her home. She noticed him scanning her face and she could not help but look away. She literally had not been around a man in a lonnnngg time. It was almost intimidating. Most people commented on her hair which was all natural. Why spend thousands on dying your hair over and over again?
Her eyes met his once again when he asked where she was from. Laughing bitterly she motioned with her arms around here. "The city of lovers. Classy eh?" She smiled and studied him. He looked mature. His appearance just oozed authority and although a common person might be scared she was interested. The moon hid behind the trees and she felt suddenly secluded again. Even with the presence of a vampire with her, life seemed lonely and she felt an aching need to discover more. "What brings you on this lovely evening to the Forest Sevanni?" She circled him searching for some sort of clue. Surely this man had better things to do than wander and dance around like her. Of course, other people had options. She seemed to gain the habit of wandering aimlessly until something struck her as interesting. Hunting was the one thing besides dancing that really thrilled her. The harder the kill, the more interesting and fun it was.
Sighing in content she leaned against a tree and crossed her arms under her chest. This man truly did puzzle her. Maybe she was not used to reading people but it seemed as though she could not determine one thing about him. Oh well who did not love a mystery anyways? Giving him another glance over she smirked. "Well you are rather charming to someone you just met, It's a first in my books" She laughed and stood up straight running a hand through her hair. It almost was odd to be talking to another vampire. It had literally been so long that she was running out of things to say. At least the man was not challenging her. God knows last time that happened she failed miserably. Oh good ol memories. They just love to sneak up on you when you least expect it and carve up your heart.
Wincing at the memory she masked it with another smile. No one needed to be burdened with her rough past. Hell she would not want to bestow that on anyone, not even her brother. If her past was a horror novel it would hit the number one in the New York Times. No doubt. Sharing that was something she had only done once in her past and that had turned around and bit her hard in the ass. Better to keep it burdened than to share with the innocent.

"The city of lovers. Classy eh?" Brows rose as he stood full of his self composure. No hands touching hands. Of course there was this thing that most people found out rather later than sooner. Sevanni felt as if he could do whatever the hell it was and get away with it scott free, however; that was not the case. Even he had someone he had to answer to, and ever since he joined the coven, there was now another someone he had to answer to. It was so tiring sometimes, but this was how it had to be....for now.
He loved touching, though he himself didn't like his face to be touched. Anywhere else was fine so long as it was in a nice way. Fighting had caused him no harm, he'd heal from the wounds, and eventually move past the mental part of it. After all, that was what it was all about. Mentals. Pain. Letting your brain register those small mortal things.
"What brings you on this lovely evening to the Forest Sevanni?" She asked before starting to circle him as if he were some piece of prey, some sort of snack for her indulging, though she would be wrong to think such a thing. If anything he'd have her slack against a nearby tree and tear her insides out whilst alive. Even if it was just to hear her scream. He tried certain things to make Ali scream, though, she had been far more tight lipped than any being he'd ever met. She made for a good secret keeper, which was why he tried so hard to gather where her weakness was. Perhaps he had been too hasty in turning Victor mortal for her.
"Walking my pet..." He said as eyes followed. He didn't have to answer any of her questions, but this was a bit of a hello there how are you? No threat yet. "The night is always full of interesting surprises." He finished simply, still steadily watching her with an intrigued expression over his facial features.
When he half turned to view her straight on she pressed away and leaned against a tree. She could have read his mind and knew what it was he wanted to do. Or more so...thinking. No...he didn't, not just yet, even if she had looked appetizing, there were always other things that could entertain him. "Well you are rather charming to someone you just met, It's a first in my books" A chortled smirk was placed over lips, hands slipped into pockets as he took a couple of steps off to the right side. "Maybe it's because you haven't met anyone as old as me." Not many people had, and if they did they showed some fucking respect. It was like being the Godfather of your own mob. You either gave respect or you slept with the fishes, or lay dead in a desert somewhere. With Sevanni it was a simple bite to fulfill his appetite, or a sliced head to hang on his trophy wall. But one for that had to be special. Like James or Patrick, Ella even.
"Plans for the evening?" He would be bold and ask. Why not? He had nothing to lose by doing so, and if she lied he'd know. If she tried to run he'd catch her easy. Oh but that would be fun. Play hide and go seek so he could tag her and show her how much fun he could truly be. Many were lucky to not be on the other end of that game. Depending on his mood really, otherwise it would be a good thing. A very good thing indeed.

Walking his pet? She glanced over his broad shoulder to see the panther waiting patiently for it's master. What an elegant creature. She often wondered what it would be like to carefree like those amazing cats. Smiling at the thought she watched as a smirk placed on his handsome lips. He was smooth. Very smooth and she let a smile tease the corners of her mouth. It truly had been a long time since she talked to another vampire. She was beginning to crave it immensely. God she had not had sex in..well she really did not want to think about that. Pleasure was something she rarely got. Not just in the bedroom, but in satisfaction all around.
Standing up straight she flashed her eyes back at him as he spoke of her being polite. She was not a harsh person. Well, not to others of her kind anyways. And company was usually not very often so she did not want to scare them off with rudeness and an arrogant attitude. "Well sometimes it pays off to start off on the right foot." She laughed and let herself relax a bit more. Sevanni did not seem like he wanted to tear her apart and she really had nothing better to do so she decided to try and make acquaintance with the vampire. Vampire friends must be better than human friends.
When he mentioned how old he was her eye brow raised in curiosity. An old vamp eh? That was interesting. She herself was only a few centuries old. Felt more like a newborn than an old lady. But time seemed to go by faster once you hit the one hundred mark. And it does get boring. Hence the reason she craved socializing. The only real friend she had was her brother, and she had not seen him in twenty years. Bugger him, he can go do what he wants. It's not like they were a family much anyways.
He asked her plans and she stepped a bit closer smiling. Like she ever had plans. "I was quite bored actually, the humans are all in a dazed mood lately i prefer a good struggle when i hunt." She laughed. God she hated when they just gave in. It got old very fast. Without a good fight there was no sport.
The moon was high in the sky and they still had plenty of time till the sun rose. The night was very young. "Did you have any pressing matters that i am keeping you from?" That would be very rude of her. If he was as old as he claimed, then he probably had more power in their world than any vamp she had ever encountered. She was, however, in a playful mood and he was charming. But she was not one to give in quickly. Playing with men gave her such amusement and she was sure that he was not game for a woman who just obeyed his every whim.
"I'm in the mood for some fun though, in whatever form, if your game monsieur." She smiled letting her fangs show this time. It had been a long time since she could smile full teeth showing. Most of the time she was in the shadows or hiding. It felt good to just let go a bit.
