Getting Away From It All a.beautiful.vacationSevanni Black | Aubrey mayor 2789 Vinyard Court Tuscany, Italy This estate comes complete with everyting a vampire could need. With limits of course. This stone washed home comes complete with six bedrooms, three in the main house, and three in the west side of the house. There are three wings. The main wing, east wing, and west wing. The house is three stories high, with a large underground which has rooms also. The main house, on the first floor is elegant, exposing alot of light with drawable shades. Blacking out the sun during the day so the vampires within the dwelling can roam about freely. Upon entry, there is a large living room and dining area split by elegant wooden stairs. To the left and around the large area lies the kitchen complete with dishwasher, kitchen, pantry, seating nook, french doors that access the patio and backyard. There is also a half bath, sink and toilet just between the kitchen and living room. Company purposes, or should anyone be in a quick rush to use the facilities. Off to the kitchens left is a nice cozy Laundry Room. This room includes a washer and dryer, cupboards and draws for neat storage, and plenty of space to store and fold laundry that you just don't feel like carrying around for the moment. Towards the west end of the house, off the side of the kitchen just beside the laundry room sits a lovely elegant Dining Room. Beautiful woods, classic art on the wall with an adjustable chandelier. Should you feel the need to entertain yourself, you could take a seat in one of the chairs in the Screening Room Complete with a full library of movies and television shows. A bar for drinks, popcorn, and yes, even blood. The basement is nothing special. It contains a large Indoor Pool, complete with hot tub and changing rooms. A sauna and steam room, as well as an entertainment center for music, games, and nice warm towels. The second floor is mainly full of bedrooms. Some rooms are being remodeled to the couples liking, so I will not show you those rooms. One Bedroom is dark and lovely. A comfortable Queen sized bed, lush with dark fabric, the best threads one could ask for. A fireplace, sitting area, full wardrobe and Master Bathroom. Sevanni would occupy his time in here when Aubrey wasn't interested in bedding with him. He made sure there was a comfortable place for her. She had options to choose from. He knew that living with her here would be different than the coven house. But she did need her space still. The second Bedroom was more simple. Lovely and quaint. Nice earth tones, a King sized bed, as well as hidden black out shades. A private modern Bathroom, includes a stand up shower, spa tub, and floating toilet as well as a bowl sink. Simple storage cubbies for towels and odds and ends. The third Bedroom carries lighter tones. Perhaps more suitable for her, but who was he to judge? He was still getting to know her more and more. Reguardless of his creeping mortal emotions. The bedroom also includes a lush fireplace with crafted details, a large oversided wardrobe, hidden blackout shades and a private Bathroom. A beautiful stand up shower, encased in glass, as is the spa tub. There is also a small closet for towel storage, and other personal items. Shall we move to the second portion of our tour? Inside the west wing of the house are three bedrooms with private baths, a living room, dining area, and an enterance into the main house as well as the back yard. This part of the house is a little darker. For those dark lurkers who love to spend time with their keepers. If Aubrey felt lonely at all and he had to leave last minuite. Her pets would have a place to stay, as well as any guests who wish to do so also. The Living Room is also connected to the kitchen, and eating area. Dark tones spread throughout the first floor. Sculptures, plants, art work on the walls. There is also a bathroom with stand up shower. The couch pulls out into a bed, and the fridge and cabinets are contantly stocked with their pets favorite snacks. The first Bedroom, Sevanni had made it up for Darien. It was a little dark, but elegant. A stick out wardrobe with a television inside. A small seating area, and a private Bathroom. The bathroom is divided by a half wall, the tub resting near a stand up fish tank, visible through the windows that lead outside. The shades hidden behind the matching fabric. The second Room was made for Schuyler. His mortal reflections should be able to enjoy his privacy in the comfort of the domain. A private living room, full with a couch, Chaise lounge, television, and an entertainment center. This room overlooks the backyard with it's large paned windows. The bedroom sits off behind two closeable wooden doors, high count thread, and full open wardrobe. The Bathroom was rather large, maybe too feminine, but it was a good size, and easily enjoyable. A large Octagon shaped shower, spa tub, closet space and a dressing area. There is also a medium sized walk in closet, easy storage for towels, toiletry refills and more. A connecting bathroom all and all, there was just no time to build on. The third and final Bedroom connects to Schuylers, it would belong to someone else if they would come. Be invited. For now it served as a guest bedroom, barely slept in. None of the rooms had been slept in. It was all new. The bedroom is a good size. King sized bed, a few seating chairs, roller chaise, and a walk in wardrobe. The east wing of the house was barely used. He figured to add an office, let Aubrey take portions and do with it what she wished. But for now it was off limits to those who didn't want to stare at nothingness. They were simply bare. Each portion of the back of the house has an entry way to the back yard. It seemed like an endless field. A mountain view just beyond as you near the cliffs Gazebo. A beautiful sight if your not disturbed by the sound of the animals nearby. Various breeds of wonderful dogs, keeping the mortals away. Though the entire estate was closed off, there was always that slim chance. Aubrey had been so curious as to where they should keep their pets, and this house was perfect for housing them. (Sorry there are no such things as Black Lions) So he already had Two Lions here. They had been brought not too long ago. The Cubs would be sent soon enough. Time To Create: Almost four hoursPosting Order: NonePosters: Invites Only

The ride on the private jet had allowed Sevanni to catch up on some paperwork. Aubrey would no doubt be enjoying her company with Schuyler, which was fine by him since he didn't want to leave her un-noticed. Darien had been there, across from him, a simple table between them. His helping hands were so welcome. But this time away was going to be different between the two. Between the four of them really.
There would be no work with Darien and Sevanni. They would all spend time together, and in the process, be rid of Aubrey's mental and emotional problems. Here, there was assurance that Xavier would not find her. Security had been set up this day while they were headed over to the estate.
Dark clouds canvassed the sky as Sevanni took a peak. He had hoped that one day he would be able to view the sky in the daylight. Aircraft hadn't been around when he was a mortal. Such a shame one would never experience it. Schuler could. Out of the four of them he could enjoy the sun. Frolick in it if he wanted.
These thoughts of daytime freedom made Sevanni turn his head towards Schuyler. Even if he had looked at him, Sevanni was flash a sweet smile. Admiring him really before looking over at Aubrey. He just made her so happy. Sevanni wondered how he could do the same.
Sevanni cleared his throat, Darien had been finished sorting papers by page numbers. He knew Aubrey hated when he worked and barely spoke a word to her. But he was finishing up so that he wouldn't have to later. It would only take a half hour. Besides, this was the reason Sevanni wanted Schuyler to come.
"Thank you Darien."
He said softly. The inside had been quiet for the past twenty minuits, and his words were the first to be spoken afterwards. There was the occasional shuffling of the papers as Darien worked. The Jet engine whispering soft purrs. The simple sound of the air purging through the tiny circle vents.
He took the two files and pushed the papers inside neatly, the other with the same. No writing on top. Slipping the two folders in his side bag and flipped the table up. Checking his watch one final time, they were on schedule. Good thing for the pilot, too bad for Sevanni. He did like to indulge in the rarety that was flight attendant, the pilot couldn't have been much worse.
"Are you okay now that we are out of London?"
He directed his speech towards Aubrey as she sat there with Schuyler. Casual and calm, his words. Relaxing back into the seat.

Aubrey was curled in a seat beside Schuyler, her legs tucked under her as she leaned her head lightly against his shoulder. They had been reading Lloyd Alexanders:The Chronicles of Prydain for weeks now. Every morning before they slept they would read some from the books together.
She had picked this set and had promised Schuyler that he could pick the next. It was their own special thing. No matter what she had done the previous night, how much she might have neglected him, they always came in and read. With the pardon of the mornings that she saved especially for Sevanni.
They usually read aloud to one another, but seeing as how Sevanni and Darien were working she had wanted to keep it quiet. If he had distractions then he would take longer and she was already anxious for him to be done. So, due to the work that was being taken care of, Schuyler and herself cuddled in close, reading from the same book silently.
They were on book three:The Castle of Llyr. In this one the princess, Eilonwy is kidnapped and Taran leads the band to go and rescue her. Halfway through the book he would realize that he was in love with her, but that she was currently in love with one of the Bards that accompanied the prince that had kidnapped her.
Aubrey had read these books dozens of times, but she loved Schuyler's reactions to what was happening. It usually made her laugh, especially when it was his turn to read aloud. He would pause, get excited and jump up and down on the bed. Emiste had even begun enjoying the books when she was there. Though, she wouldn't admit that aloud.
Tonight however Aubrey was distracted, unable to focus on anything really. She had spent all morning replaying half lived memories in her sleep. She was exhausted still, but she didn't feel like sleeping. She was embarrassed as it was that she had broken down in front of Sevanni, she would be mortified if she did it while being on the Jet.
She found herself gazing out the windows, losing herself in her thoughts. Schuyler was continuously nudging her, trying to get her attention focused back on the book so he could turn the page and continue. She wouldn't help but look at him and smile. She slipped her hand into his free on and squeezed it softly before edging her attention back to the window.
She began trailing off again. Her thoughts jumping randomly back and forth to things that she could only halfway piece together. It was Sevanni that lulled her back this time. She turned, lazily smiling, happy that maybe he was finished with his paperwork. She nodded her head. "Yes love. I feel better."
She did and she didn't. Leaving the coven in a time like this probably wasn't the best idea, but she had to be away from there. She had to be away from everything. Sevanni was making a huge sacrifice in leaving with her and that made her adore him even more. She hadn't even had to ask to bring Schuyler, he had suggested it, already making preparations for him to come along.
She turned her attention back to the window. Whispering thank you before her thoughts drifted back away.

Sevanni glanced over, occasionally watching the two read from the same page. He asked her if she was okay because she had rarely focused on Schuyler when he was around. He knew that she had been slightly fibbing, but her actions the night before told him otherwise. He figured she didn't want to make a scene, so he left it where it was.
"I hope you boys enjoy your rooms. You have complete privacy."
He smiled looking from Darien to Schuyler, then back to Darien. The captains voice was heard over the intercom, letting them know they would be landing within the next ten minuits. Yes. On time as he had hoped. Everything had to be on time.
Once the plane landed, he stood, along with Darien, Schuyler, and his hand went to Aubrey as he gave her a sensual look. She was so unhappy within that it caused him great pain. Never once had he expected things to get like this. Damn that Xavier. He should have taken care of him when he had the chance.
The coven was important to Sevanni. Not because he was the leader, but his people were important to him. Their safety. Their trust. Never once did he think they would start acting out like they were. Two were dead by Sevanni's hands. Shaden was shunned, and now this. His Aubrey, feeling such fear and pain, but she sure knew how to hide most of it.
Making their way down the stairs of the plane, the black Lincoln town car waiting for them to get inside. The ride would be a half an hour, he suggested that the boys sit next to each other. Darien knew the rules when it came to Schuyler. Though they couldn't play rough, the availablity to talk to each other was there. They would have to spend some sort of time together. Even if it was alone or in front of Aubrey and Sevanni.
Sevanni crinkled his nose, he had forgotten one very important thing.
"Darien, I am so sorry, but there is no library in the house."
Sevanni thought Darien might frown, that would have made him feel a little bit worse, but then again, he had only bought the house before buying Darien.
"Tell you what though."
He began, trying, hoping that this would cheer him up.
"I will have one of the empty rooms made up and you can shop around for new books. Would you like that?"
He sure hoped so. This meant he would give Darien free reign to make a room in the house his own. Sevanni had never let anyone do that. Aubrey was automatic. If she wanted an art room, it was hers. If she wanted a room where she could just sit and think, it was hers. Sevanni turned his head towards Schuyler.
"And Schuyler. Maybe you would like to have a room to fit to your taste. That's of course if Aubrey doesn't mind."
He had her hand in his, squeezing it lightly as he directed the statement quizzically to her. He smirked, knowing full well that maybe she didn't want to speak.
The car hit a couple of bumps along the way but for the most part the ride was rather nice. A country scenery, fields of lucious green grass and flowers spread askew. Sevanni loved the country. He just hoped Aubrey would approve of the house.
He had always went off doing his own thing. Excluding Aubrey from specific events, but it was all for the best. New York had been a trip to meet with Landon, buy a slave, and pick out a ring from an old friend. She had been disappointed the night before. Asking him to stay over night before leaving. His heart sank to her request. Sevanni knew Aubrey would be missing him, but he knew he would miss her much more.
The car pulled up to the opening gate, the driver must have clicked the button. No one was here. Driving slowly down the long driveway, round to the enterance, and stopped without a jerking movement as most cars did. This is why he liked this car. He had one in New York just like it. Darien of course would have remembered. Or even thought the same thing.
For the week there would be no driver. Just the four of them, and a security system. The driver stepped out, coming around to Aubrey's side, opening her door. The rest followed suit. He took hold of her, he knew she didn't need to be taken care of like a baby. She was a grown ass woman. But this was her time to relax and he wasn't hearing anything else.
"Darien, could you and Schuyler bring the bags in? I'll tend to them later and show you your rooms."
He addressed Darien simply because Schuyler had been Aubrey's pet, and it wasn't his job to give orders. He asked Darien, and if Schuyler so chose to help, Sevanni would show him appreciation.
Sevanni took Aubrey into the house, he didn't care if she could walk or not, but before he hit the stairs through the living room, he lifted her up into his masculine arms, and carried her up the stairs.

Emiste had gotten the call from Aubrey. She had sounded off, not her usual self, not at all. She knew of course that Aubrey was going to through a rough time - what was it? A mental breakdown? She was fairly certain that's what had happened.
She also knew that she, Sevanni, Schuyler and Darien were going away for a bit. It had secretly bothered Emiste that they were leaving her behind. But, for the sake of her mistress, she had not said anything. Determined not to add to her mental stress at the moment. So she simply pretended otherwise, ignoring the fact that they would be leaving soon - without her.
Although she'd done a good job of hiding her disappointment from both Aubrey and Sevanni - she hadn't done so well hiding it from her victims. Taking out her frustration and disappointment on them - it didn't matter - who would they tell anyway? Not that any of them lived to say a word about anything....
But then, they had actually left. Gotten on a plane and left. And she let her disappointment show then - only there was no one around to see it, so she didn't feel badly about sulking in her room. She didn't understand, had she upset Aubrey? Sevanni? Did she disappoint her mistress? She didn't remember doing anything wrong, but then Aubrey punished her regularly anyway - whether or not she had been bad, simply because Emiste enjoyed it.
The call had been thoroughly unexpected and Emiste fought to keep her voice under control - calm and collected - and not betray the relief she felt of not having to face time alone. The only requirement Aubrey had of her was that she leave her dark desires behind. No playing while on vacation - in other words...no torturing and no being tortured while away. Emiste was so ecstatic that she was getting to go along after all that she immediately agreed - not worrying at all about whether or not she could physically and mentally handle that requirement. She intended to do her best though.....
Now she was standing in her room, packing, mentally checking off everything she needed - passport, visa, ID, credit card....check. She didn't need tickets - since the plane taking her to Italy was a private jet, sent specifially for her. Ample clothing, shoes, and accessories - double check. Personal items, ipod, books - check. She looked longingly at her collection of "toys" before grabbing her daggers and bladed gloves (her lady death strike gloves - as she liked to call them) - so what if she didn;t get to use them, better to be prepared....and again, able only to take these because of the private jet arrangement - Sevanni was quite influential, and able to provide anything as it was needed.
Satisfied she had all the essentials, and some nonessentials, she sealed her luggage and drug it out to the awaiting car which would drive her to the tarmac where she would board the plane and be on her way to Italy.
The drive was short, and the unloading and loading of her luggage and getting herself onto the plane passed her by in a blur. She had only flown a few times in her life - so it was diallt exciting, flying and being on a private jet.
The flight didn't seem to be extremely long, probably made even shorter by her excitement. But it did allow her time to think. A vacation was something she hadn't had in a very long time. In fact she couldn't remeber the last time she had taken one. ANd this one would be very different from any other, of that she was sure. She remembered her promise to Aubrey - and it momentarily worried her as she had a small revelation.
I don't know what I am going to do with all of my free time, especially being deprived of playthings. she thought. But then again, maybe it will be good for me, let me think up new ideas - let me desire it more. She had always maintained that everything was better when it was craved. And she was fairly sure she would crave pain by the time they returned home. Perhaps this trip would even serve as time to discover other interests - of which she suddenly felt like she had none.
The plane landed soon enough and a car was already waiting for her. Leave it to Sevanni to have everything perfectly timed and planned. The chaufuer collected her luggage and loaded it into the car - helping her into the backseat.
Emiste rested her head against the window and watched the gorgeous scenery flash by. It was dusky enough that she hadn't had to worry about the sun, and for that she was grateful.
The car eventually pulled up to an estate, calling in at the gate for entrance, then coming to a stop in front of the giant house. "Here you are, Miss." the chaufeur said in heavily accented English. It made Emiste smile - she loved accents and languages. Perhaps while she was here she could study and further her knowledge by learning some Italian. "I'll have your things put in your room" he continued as he helped her out of the car.
Emiste stood before the great house in awe. Hesitant to simply walk through the door, she feebly knocked on the door, not knowing if Sevanni had a butler or maids or any hired help here at all. Not even knowing if her quiet knock would be heard, she waited a second, then knocked again - louder. Feeling foolish, but afraid to let herself in for some odd reason.

She sighed softly as she turned to look back at Sevanni. His attention was already directed elsewhere and she studied him for a moment without his notice. She smiled. He had went through a lot of trouble for her, and she wished that she could say that she felt better, but really she didn't. She was glad that they were leaving, but she was still bothered.
She leaned her head against Schuyler's shoulder. The paperwork was finished, they were talking now. She knew that they wouldn't disturb anything. "Would you read aloud to me now love?" She closed her eyes, snuggling down against him. She loved that he was always so warm.
Usually when she was with Schuyler, especially when she was touching him, she would feel more relaxed and calm. She was clinging to him now and yet she felt just as afraid as she had on the previous night. She sniffed, comforted slightly by his soft voice, trying to focus on them rather than lose her train of thought again.
Aubrey felt herself dozing on and off. She curled in closer to Schuyler. She was cold and she hadn't thought of bringing on a blanket. She didn't understand that either. She was freezing. Not just cold, like literally freezing. She made a mental note of asking Sevanni about that later.
Just about the time she was feeling herself doze off again the captains voice rang out over the intercom. She grumbled to herself. She only had ten more minutes of light napping. This was the first time in 48 hours that she had been able to lull off without having odd dreams and now that was ruined.
She was unable to force herself back into the teasing state of sleep. Instead she just listened to Schuyler's voice, whispering in her ear. When the plane stopped and everyone began standing she leaned up and kissed his cheek softly. "Thank you for reading to me."
She unfolded her self from her seat and stretched her arms up as she made her way, lazily mind you, to her feet. She glanced up at Sevanni and blushed at his look. She took his hand as she moved to snuggle against him. She would never really be able to tell him how much she appreciated this.
Her free hand slipped into Schuyler's and she pulled him close to her as they all made their way off of the jet. She felt bad for Darien in a way. He had no ones hand to hold. The thought made her sad. She loved Schuyler in a way that Sevanni could not love Darien. Well, she supposed he could, but she didn't see it happening. She suddenly wished that Emiste had been brought along. If she were here Darien would have had someone to walk off of the plane with.
She winked at Schuyler before he disappeared into the car with Darien following him. Aubrey stopped Sevanni and leaned up, kissing him gently. "Thank you love. You don't know how much this means to me." She caressed his cheek before entering after the boys.
Aubrey leaned her head against Sevanni's shoulder. She knew that he wasn't one for their mushy affections, but she needed to be close to him and if he didn't like it then he should have let her sit beside Schuyler. She listened to the conversation between him and his Darien while she played tag with Schuyler toes and threw him funny faces.
She didn't know anything about Darien. Sevanni hadn't told her much and she really never thought to ask. He had just came home from New York with him. There was something about him, something that Aubrey couldn't quite lay her finger on, but something none the less that made her want to be cautious around him.
There was an odd hint in his eyes. He was so polite and he always did just as Sevanni asked of him, but still there was something there telling her that at any moment he would do something that he wasn't supposed too. She could imagine him impishly grinning while shrugging after being caught. The thought made her giggle.
As long as he never tried anything funny dealing with her Schuyler she was fine. She would hate to have to kill such an adorable person. She would though. Vacation or not.
Sevanni liked him though, he was rather fond of him, Aubrey knew this. Sevanni was being over generous with everyone lately. She made another mental note to ask him why.
She beamed over at Schuyler when Sevanni spoke to him. She returned the light squeeze. "Schuyler can have anything that he wants." She winked and used her free hand to assist in blowing him a kiss.
She laid her head back against Sevanni's shoulder. She watched out the window for a bit, admiring the scenery, but soon the images all became fuzzy and blurred together. She closed her eyes and drifted back to sleep, mumbling softly to herself.
She felt the slight change in the car as it began to slow down, awoken by the sounds of the opening gate. Her eyes fluttered open and she sighed softly. She panicked momentarily. She had forgotten what she was doing and who she was with, she calmed down though as soon as she meet Schuyler's eyes.
She smiled softly, releasing a long breath. Her hand slid out in front of her to take his. She needed to touch him to make sure that he was really there. When his slipped into hers she sighed, squeezing it softly before settling back down beside Sevanni.
When the car had come to a stop, and the driver had opened her door she stepped out slowly. Her eyes fell over the house and she smiled in approval. It was more lovely than he had described. She busied herself with admiring it as the boys[[always with the damn boys...AHHHHH...lol]] piled out of he car.
She smiled softly at Schuyler, caressing him face. "Make sure you keep the book. When we go to bed I want you to continue reading to me." She leaned against him, kissing him again on his cheek before pulling back to Sevanni and making her way up to the house with him.
She giggled when he pulled her up in his arms. Aubrey nestled her face in the crook of his neck, wrapping her arms around him. Normally she wouldn't have let him, but right then she wanted nothing more than to be held.

Schuyler had sat relatively silently through the plane ride, he read the book Aubrey had brought, enjoying the story but not nearly as much as usual. Something was wrong with Aubrey, no doubt the reason for their sudden departure from the coven house. Schuyler couldn’t help but be worried.
However, he still felt awkward sharing Aubrey with Sevanni. Or rather, being allowed to be with her in Sevanni’s presence.
He looked around the plane, his eyes resting on Darien and Sevanni working. The two of them were definitely working hard, and it looked like boring work too. Schuyler could see Darien working his way through organizing. He felt for the two of them.
A vacation was definitely going to be fun and he was interested to see how Sevanni would act, he was always so rigid and a little mean even. But he was looking forward to seeing Sev laid back. He could already see it a little in the way Sev was being so accepting of Schuyler being there.
Schuyler continued reading, poking Aubrey occasionally, trying to bring her wandering attention back to the book. He was worried about how differently she was acting. Usually, when he was around, she paid him as much attention as possible, and she was always touching him somehow. He was feeling a little dejected also, wondering if it was something that had happened elsewhere, if it was something he’d done, or if it was simply because Sevanni was there.
Schuyler was so confused that he could barely keep himself from talking to her, begging her to explain what was wrong. But he knew that asking her would not solve anything, would possibly only make her worse.
He happily fulfilled her request to read aloud, doing so softly so as not to disturb Sevanni and Darien, even though they had finished with their work.
When the plane stopped, Schuyler smiled at Aubrey and stepped into the aisle, allowing Sevanni to help Aubrey out. He entwined his fingers with hers and walked beside her happily. Though he too worried about Darien, walking on his own. He turned to shoot Darien one of his mega-watt grins and held out his other hand playfully, grinning wider when Darien timidly shook his head.
Schuyler realized that Sevanni had probably laid down some rules of some sort, so he just shrugged at Darien to show he understood.
They walked up to the car and Schuyler slid in first, unhappily letting go of Aubrey’s hand. He smiled at Darien when he slid in beside him and struck up a low-toned conversation.
“Hi, I’m Schuyler.” He said happily. He hoped that Darien could be a new friend, maybe someone for Schuyler to hang out with when Aubrey was busy with Sevanni.
Darien
Darien was shocked to find himself sitting on a private jet, doing work for Sevanni. He had no idea why Schuyler and himself had been brought along on this trip. Especially since there was to be no working, other than what he was doing right now.
Organizing was perhaps the most boring work there was, but Darien had told himself that the faster he got done with the work, the sooner he could get to pretending that he was on a fun-filled, worry-free vacation with friends.
So he worked his way through the organizing lightning quick, finishing faster than he had thought was possible for himself. He looked up when Sevanni thanked him and smiled. “Not a problem Mr. Black.”
He turned to look out the window now, admiring the passing clouds and attempting to forget that he was a bought man.
Apparently, he had spaced out because Sevanni’s next words to him snapped him out of a reverie he hadn’t even realized he’d been in. He raised an eyebrow sadly at Sevanni’s words but shrugged. “It’s no problem that there’s no library Mr. Black. Any book I can pick up anywhere will suffice.” He smiled though at Sevanni’s offer, his entire face transforming with the emotion. “Oh yes, that would be amazing Mr. Black. My own library, with the books I love.”
He went off into another reverie at the thought and didn’t come out of it again until the plane landed. He then got up, following the group off the plane. They were all linked together, like a family. Whereas Darien simply followed behind, feeling a little left out.
Darien greatly appreciated Schuyler’s attempt to include him and even considered playfully taking the younger man’s hand. But he looked at Sevanni and thought better of it. Though he couldn’t imagine how Sevanni would think that he was a danger to Aubrey’s “pet”, seeing as he was a vampire vegetarian.
He slid into the black town car behind Schuyler, noticing that it was almost exactly the same as the one Sevanni had back in the city. He glanced up when Schuyler talked to him and smiled, looking sideways at Sevanni and deciding, screw it. They were both humans. He could talk to Schuyler if he wanted to.
“Hi Schuyler, I’m Darien. It’s nice to meet you, formerly.” He grinned and held out his hand, ever the savvy business man…now anyway. The two of them talked until they reached the house and had already struck up a friendship. Darien decided he would have to ask Aubrey and Sevanni for permission to befriend the mortal.
Both Darien and Schuyler were struck silent by the sheer size of the house. It was beautiful, and huge. Both of them loved it instantly.

Sevanni nodded to Darien after he responded. It was just like in New York when the rode in the car. Deciding to give him a brief break for the time being. The two had something to do, maybe Sevanni would post pone it. However, it was a bad idea on his part to do so.
Feeling the squeeze of Aubrey's hand, allowing him anything. Sevannilet out a breath and looked out the window for a minute. He just couldn't get his mind off of something. Something that had been ticking away inside his head. Not the voice, but something else. When she thanked him, he smiled, telling her he would do anythig for her. But that didn't mean the cost of his life.
He carried her now, in the large open space, the windows were still open as the stars twinkled in the far distance over the cliff. Twirling her around for fun. He was rather surprised himself. But the house was really his taste. Ever since he was 24 he wanted a house like this. He had one once, not quite like this. But he had one. Sometimes he thought back to those days, letting them fade from his mind soon after. He would go back there one day. See an old friend.
The boys tumbling in after them. The driver giving a helping hand. Sevanni allowed it as it was in fact a vacation. Sevanni set Aubrey down, he kissed her cheek before looking over at them.
"Your own little place is that way."
He pointed towards a long hall that had a door at the end. There were random rooms along the hallway, he hadn't done anything to those yet.
"End of the hall. I'll take care of the bags."
Well there it was. He gave them both free reign to do what they wanted. For now.
For now he would let them enjoy the rest of the night. Perhaps he should have asked Aubrey if that was okay. Schuyler would perhaps seek her approval. Darien didn't need anything more. He already had his permission. But Sevanni felt bad for not spending at least some quality time with Darien. But that was going to be fixed.
Sevanni was sure Aubrey adn Schuyler would spend a day together. He took it upon himself to make a note to have them spend at least some time together. He and Aubrey had expected Emiste to come along. She would have been there a couple hours after their arrival.
He turned to Aubrey, wrapping his arms around her, grinning.
"So....do you want to see the house, or get some rest?"
He should have popped in a nice meal and bath. Perhaps a bubble bath would calm her. He would spoil her as she was feeling so down. It would be his honor to cater to her needs.
Making sure the boys were out of earshot, purring in her ear, happy to be rid of London and all of it's drama.
Technically the house was supposed to be a surprise. He had bought it months before staying at the coven house. Yet he never slept in it, or even stepped a second foot in it. For some reason, the house just seemed empty. One day, it would be filled.
His random thoughts of Kane and Abel. Their parents were sure dumb to name them after biblical characters. Two little snide kids who thought they owned everyone and everything. Murdered before they were able to be turned. It was tramatic. Even for Sevanni. He had cared for the two as a protector, and this had been planned between the entire circle. He loved them and protected them for as long as he was allowed before taking them down in assistance.
How could they have been so vile? It was their parents, he knew them well. If everything had gone right with he and Aubrey, he would make sure it never got that far. He would never end up like their father, and she would never end up like their mother.
(I'll not god mod this, and will wait for someone else to post for Emiste)

A lazy smile played at her lips when he whispered in her ear. what was she to do with him. Chin tucked, blushing softly as she lowered her eyes to the floor. Despite the purring, and the warm feeling flustering over her middle, she really only wanted to lay down. Of course she wouldn't mind if he laid down with her. She had already decided that she would sleep with him the entire trip as it was already, she would read with Schuyler, but she was going to be spending the days in bed with Sevanni. If that was okay.
Slipping away from Sevanni, slowly making her way to the door.Emiste She could imagine her pet standing there, probably feeling rather awkward. Aubrey had gave her very strict instructions. She couldn't keep up with Emiste antics, not here, and she had no problem sending Emiste back to London if she fell back on her word.
The door opened and Aubrey smiled softly at Emiste. Seeing her made her happy, but also made her realize how tired she really was. The gang was all here. One big happy family. One weird, severely screwed up family, but family none the less. Aubrey moved to the side, allowing Emiste to come in before moving away and letting the door shut.
She moved to Schuyler, cupping his face with her hands. Aubrey adored him. Smiling warmly at him, feeling slightly sad. There was something about this situation that she was going to have to change, it had been eating at her and after what had happened she knew that she couldn't put it off any longer. Not now though, it would not happen now. Maybe after the vacation-depending on how she felt.
"I want you to do whatever you want too, okay Love? Come find me whenever you need me or want to be around me." Aubrey threw him a somewhat distracted smile before turning back to look at Sevanni. Her eyes fell over his form, taking him in for a moment, then her attention was again directed to look around what she could see of the house.
Sleep. I want to go to sleep now. Aubrey was exhausted. She felt it creeping back over her, causing her to sigh. Sleep without nightmares and horrid visions of things that she wanted to let go of, it's what she wanted. When was it going to end? At this rate she was afraid that she had an eternity to be tormented with them. Wasn't that just nice for her? Moving slowly now, away from all of them, too distracted to even speak to Emiste, too tired to let it bother her.
A long look was thrown over her shoulder at Sevanni before she began to climb the stairs.
Aubrey was more tired than she should have been, more tired that she would have liked to be. Every step took her further from her party and closer to the empty promise of being alone. That was beginning to not bother her, she was already alone. They didn't know the things that had been continuously popping into her head, how could they? They wouldn't have know what to do about the situation anymore than she did. How was she supposed to explain any of it to Schuyler anyway? She would only succeed in freaking him out and then he would shy away from her.
Then Emiste, well how was she to tell her anything? Aubrey didn't want Emiste involved in her personal life. Besides, her pain pet might have gotten a kick out of her nightmares. Aubrey shuttered at the thought, cold shills spreading all over her body. Maybe she would have Sevanni do something about the heat. She was still freezing.
She was sure that Sevanni didn't understand-not really. He said he did. He dropped everything to flew with her out here, but why did they have to bring the entourage? Why couldn't they have just come by themselves? Didn't he think that maybe she wanted to be away from them too? Not that she didn't love and appreciate the fact that Schuyler was here-she appreciated the fact that Sevanni had just invited him, it would have made her sad to leave him behind. She had made him a promise.
Still, the fact remained that she didn't understand why they couldn't have just came alone. Sevanni never wanted to do anything with just the two of them.
no one ever really seemed to want to spend that much time alone with her., Maybe that was why no one ever wanted her sticking around for too often. How long would it be before Sevanni decided that he was bored with her as well. She would be put to the side, cast out and forgotten.
Her face scrunched up at the thought and she sighed softly. Who was she trying to kid-she would never be alone. Xavier would always be somewhere. would always know what she was doing, where she was, who she was with. As much as she hated him and as much as that knowledge unnerved her it brought a certain eerie comfort as well. At least she would never be alone. Only thinking of that made her want to cry.
There was another cold chill and she swore that in the back of her mind she could hear him laughing. Her hands instinctively moved to her head and she stumbled. One hand moved to brace against the wall as the other clutched her screaming head.
Aubrey I will always know where you are and what you are thinking. When ever you think of me you will call out my attention. your screams have not went unnoticed. There is no pain, no happiness, no emotion that I do not share through you...
AT the same time, Aubrey lost her balance and he hold against the wall. She fell, landing hard on her knees. Crying out, both hands now gripping tightly against her head. "Get out of my head. Just get out of my head!" her words came out as strangled pleas, barely audible for even herself. His laughter echoed through her mind and she wasn't sure of whether it was really Xavier or only her imagination. either way she wanted it gone.
Eyes slid shut as tears ebbed their way down her cheeks. Suddenly hit with the memory of Xavier slamming her around his sitting room, beating her without pause. He had laughed. the bastard had laughed, telling her over and over that he was doing it because he loved her. Then he just left her there, bleeding all over his carpet.
Aubrey wanted to open her eyes. She had too, had to do something. His ice blue eyes were suddenly piercing into hers and she screamed.
Leaning forward now, palms flat on the floor as her blurry eyes tried to focus on her hands. he's not really here. He's not in your head. The words could be spoken a thousand times a day and she would never believe them. leaning even further to down as her stomach lurched, pressing her cheek against the floor, groaning softly. "I want him out of my head. Get him out of my head. He can see me, I know he can. He can see me."
Aubrey collapsed, curling up in the floor, holding herself tightly. London, New York, California-here...It didn't matter. He could find her-he would find her. No matter where she went or what she did he was coming. Xavier was only biding his time, waiting for the perfect opportunity. Body trembling, tears falling from her face. he was going to come for her and they couldn't stop him, she belonged to him-at least in his minds eye and that was all that mattered.

Emiste smiled shyly at Aubrey, she was completely out of her comfort zone here. Aubrey had meant what she said about Emiste's conduct while they were here. This made Emiste slightly anxious. She always wanted to please her mistress, and she hoped she could do so by keeping her word now.
Her eyes flitted nervously to Aubrey's face. Still the same troubled look behind Aubrey's eyes. And she looked tired. Emiste knew she wouldn't get much time or attention from Aubrey while she was here. Sevanni and Schuyler would absorb all of that. In all honesty she was surprised Aubrey had asked her to come - ecstatic that she had, but surprised nontheless.
Emiste handled her luggage and followed behind Aubrey into the house. Remaining quiet. Her eyes taking in all the detail available in that first look. Sevanni was there. And Schuyler and Darien - whom she had never really met. Her eyes flickered in curiostiy over the two men. But then just as quickly looked away. She was pretty sure she was not allowed contact with either of them. She sighed softly, suddenly coming to realize how alone she would possibly be on this trip. It would be solitude without the absence of other bodies. That kind of bothered her, and kind of didn't. At least if she was kept at a distance she wouldn't be tempted to do anything....stupid, anything that would violate Aubrey's commands.
She shifted her weight, her eyes still wide, feeling out of place already. She didn't want to ask where her room was. Or maybe she didn't have one. The invitation had seemed very last minute. Perhaps Aubrey had already changed her mind and was to send her back. Aubrey had not really said anything to her and was now disappearing up the stairs.
She glanced at Sevanni and managed a feeble smile.
