The night was cold for this time of year. Jez could see her breath as she walked the slightly crowded streets. Even at this late hour there was humans, vampires and werewolves alike about. Luckily none of them looked at one another, tonight was a special night. Or at least for Jez it was. Tonight was her last night in New Orleans, and she was going to remember it. Opening the door to one of the many bars on the street she was on she stopped into the warm air. There was ten or eleven other occupants not including the bar tender or jazz musicians.
Sitting at a table in the back she ordered a scotch on the rocks which was quickly brought to her by the waitress that knew if she wasn't served to her standards, would be hurt in the end. Jez dismissed her and was left alone immediately. It felt good to have some control. Scanning the others customers she nothing interesting and instead turned her attention to the musicians. They were good for kids. And that's what they were too. The oldest one looked to be no older than 17 or 18. They must have worked hard to get the gig. They were cute too. All boys.
Smiling evilly she stood up and instead sat in the very front, which was directly in the lead singers line of site. He took one look at her and smiled. Jez was mistaken though. He wasn't a good choice. His teeth were disgusting, and she hadn't realized what a mess he was until she'd moved. up. Humans, such disgusting creatures. Standing again she went moved to the back of the bar to the bathrooms. It was fairly clean, so she allowed herself to stay and wash her face. Which got her thinking. Will I ever lower my standards enough to get a lay? She doubted it. Sighing, Jez dried herself with a paper towel and left. There was nothing here for her. And she'd had such a good feeling about it too. Chugging her drink, she nearly choked at the scent that permeated her nostrils. A scent she was afraid to turn to face. Jez didn't want any trouble tonight. Especially not her kind. She had no idea who's turf she was on...

Why do all good things come to an end?
It'd taken the Vampire three days to reach New Orleans and by the time she arrived, she was eager for a meal. Her eyes were glowing from hunger and Ivory couldn't help but lick her lips at the pulse of blood riveting through each human's veins. The fangs she usually kept hidden because of her natural control were extending against her will. That was the last time she'd go three whole weeks without at least something small to eat. Yet as she looked around she found nothing hard to capture. It was Mardi Gras, everyone was either drunk or drugged. The humans were just to easy to catch and she never tried for anything below her usual standard. No matter how hungry she'd get, she would never pounce on something easy, never.
It can't be that hard to find a decent meal. she grumbled to herself and approached a fairly packed bar. The band playing was loud, her sensitive hearing could pick up the tiniest of mistakes. If she were anywhere besides there, she would have left by now, but she was just too hungry to mind. She scanned the humans, but there was not one sober being in the bar. Even the ones that were semi-sober were just too easy. Ivy growled at the sight then whimpered, her hand moving to rest on her tummy. If it could growl, it wouldn't stop.
If you want a meal, I could always deliver one to you.Ivory jumped at the small voice in her head. Her immediate thought jumped to who was it, but unfortunately she already knew. Ignoring it completely, she wrapped her arms around herself. Since she was immortal she didn't usually feel the cold, but it was the middle of fall, everything was just a little bit chilly. The fact she came to New Orleans in a pair of denim jeans, a blue faded t-shirt and thin jacket made her look like an idiot, but she didn't mind; no human would question her.
Ivory, absentmindedly, headed for the bathroom, something seemed to be luring her there. Just as she reached the placed, she collided with another...vampire. "What the hell?" she muttered under her breath and backed up. The hunger she was experiencing made her dizzy and off balanced. She fell backwards like a drunken human and landed on the ground beneath her. She huffed and pushed her hair from her face, but stayed on the floor.

Jez groaned at the site of the vamp. It had been a long time. Too long. She didn't know the modern day customs. This one seemed nice enough though so she extended a hand to her. "Sorry, I wasn't paying attention." She said in a quiet voice, redirecting her discolored eyes so she wouldn't be frightened. It had happened before, it would happen again. But she couldn't help it no more than she could help her grace and beauty. She figured that was why she was so hated by her friends when she was younger and kidnapped by... Redirecting her thoughts to the present she looked to see the other vamps reaction.

Red irises jumped to the face of the Vampire extending her hand to her. "You've got to be kidding me." She muttered beneath her breath, so low, not even a vampire could hear her. She swiped her hand forward and knocked the woman's hand away from her. She wasn't in the mood for fun and games. "Who do you think you are?" Ivory asked, her voice thick with a french accent. She rose to her feet and brushed her hands off on her jeans. She then had to grip the back of a bar stool to keep from falling over again. She needed a meal, soon. "You're not human, why be generous?" She asked, a sneer on her lips. The simple fact that the woman before her wasn't human both annoyed her and intrigued her. It'd been almost thirty years since she last came in contact with another vampire, if you don't count Donatello.
The mention of Donatello gave her a headache and she ran pale fingers through thick locks of brown. They rose and then fell just past her shoulders. Ivory was beautiful, no doubt about it, but she wasn't the most. The woman before her would run into some serious competition, but Ivory didn't mind. The harder the game, the more challenging. "So what are you doing in a place like this?" She asked out of nothing but pure curiosity. If the girl was too personal then Ivory would simply take her leave. She found no reason to stick around if she was going to get nothing more then a fight. Usually she would pick them, but she needed a meal first. "The humans here are just too easy." She stated quiet enough for only the Vampire before her to hear.

Jez's anger flared at the girls attitude and nearly slapped her back but instead simply nodded at her comment. "And they're so disgusting." She agreed in an equally low voice. "I'm here because I was hoping to also find a meal... no luck so far." Watching as some new comers entered she only shook her head in disapproval, she could almost hear their thoughts from where she stood. They were looking to pick up some girls. Looking away from them she met the other vamps eyes. "It's been a while, excuse me if I'm being rude but I'm a little rusty." She said, slightly angered by her rudeness, but trying hard to ignore it. Jez wasn't exactly in the best of moods at the moment and knew if she did something wrong it would ruin of both of their nights.
Sighing to keep herself from venting her anger (she has had anger issues for a while now, and the slightest of things will set her off) she turned to the bartender. He was well built, obviously with all the fights that occurred, he might be worth it. Jerking her thumb towards him, she looked to the other vamp. "He might satisfy you." She was obviously starving. Jez could see it in her eyes and the way she held herself. She could also tell she didn't want an easy meal. "Take him out to the swamps. Plenty of land out there to use, and humans rarely ever go out there. Plus, he might not mind a young girl like you taking an interest in you." Good thing it was Mardi Gras, who would notice one petty human missing? The thought of it made her blood run cold though. Jez wasn't a cold blooded killer, she usually took out those who deserved it. Turning she began to walk away but thought better of it. "Is there any of you around? I'd rather not run into them..."

Ivory wasn't even phased by the flash of anger that appeared in her eyes. By the way Ivy held herself and talked, she received enough hate, so much, she was clearly used to it. She kept quiet throughout all of the woman's words, only redirecting her eyes once she pointed out a bartender. She turned her body to face him and leaned against the chair. He was a good 100 feet away but her eyes could pick up even the smallest detail. "He's not bad..."she agreed, but then shook her head. "But he'd be too easy a kill." Her pickiness in her meals was going to get her killed one day, for she was going to starve. "He wants to get laid."She gave a sigh and looked down at her apparel. "And I'm not exactly dressed to give him a different idea." She said softly, her clothes tight fitting to a point where almost everything was noticeable.
Despite the insatiable thirst that made her mouth water as every human passed her, she decided to wait. No matter if she came to brink of death from not feeding, she would never go after a cheap and easy meal. It wasn't in her nature. She came from a high stature family, she wasn't going to submit herself to anything less than what she deserved. Finally deciding the club held nothing but drunks and undeserving humans, she turned her gaze to the door. "I'm leaving to find a better meal, if you want, you could join me." She offered, knowing that the young female was probably just as hungry for a snack. "I wouldn't mind." She finished and turned her eyes to the female for a split second. After locking gazes, she averted her eyes. "So?"
