Lucy strolled down the abandoned street of London. She sighed. It had been so long since she had been back in her hometown. The atmosphere, the scenery, everything about it made her smile. There was a major difference between here and New York. At least, to her there was. Where she grew up, there wasn’t anything like ‘Time’s Square’. Just rolling fields of green, lush, grass free for children of all ages to frolic in.
Just being back in her home country brought up many memories. Mostly good, but then again, who doesn’t have horrible memories nowadays? One famous memory popped up at the thought of the fields. She remembered when all of her brothers and sisters were finally done being born. All of them at an acceptable age to still be living at home, and to be around one another with no adult figures around. They all wandered to a deserted field from their home, and relaxed. Yes, they played tag, and other such things, but that one time, they just relaxed. Just laid on the soft grass, surrounded by one another. Lucy’s smile grew and she jumped back into reality with a flick of the wrist.
She shook her head and reminded herself that she wasn’t the only one that was lurking in the shadows tonight. She strolled down the remainder of the street and turned a corner, leading to a more populated area. Even though she had been living in New York for, as long as she could remember, her accent never faded. Ever. Every time she would talk to someone in New York, they always looked at her like she was from another planet. You were automatically assumed to have a ‘New York accent’, obviously. It just never caught on for her.
She walked further down the street and passed by some people she could’ve sworn she had seen before. She shrugged it off. The last time she was in London was around one hundred years ago. She snickered at the thought and turned the corner once again. She accidentally bumped into someone and she stepped back quickly. “I’m sorry, I should’ve watched where I was going.”

ATTIRE (with jeans ofcourse xD)Alexander was on his usual return trip back home after buying coffee, and some new software updates for his computer. In a Few weeks he was moving to california, to spend some time in america, so this was this last chance to have a nosey around his home town for the last time before he started going insane from the American lifestyle. He hoped it was like friends. But even that wound him up, But he was there to get used to change. And that was the best way. Alexander was a clumsy person. And clumsy people and busy people never went well. For example, there had been a stunning young woman that seemed to be in a rush, and he spilt coffee over her. And then he wanted the ground to swallow him up as he felt like a 17 year old boy again. Not only Pretty women he spilt this coffee over, but Angry business men who threatened to sue him. And he rather liked to keep his money. This time however, He split the coffee over himself, and he didn't have to apologize to anyone this time. "I Should watch where my coffees going." Alexander complained to himself patting the brown stain on his hoodie, which was now a nice black and brown. Almost a Tie dye effect gone wrong. Whenever he looked up, His eyes filled with self-pity, Really, he should stay away from women all together and avoid embrassing himself then. Tall. Blonde, Vampire. A Lady who could kick my ass. Most of the Living dead women he met seemed like they wanted to tie him up and then beat him around to get a kick out of it. And that did happen once. Or they wanted to eat him alive. Which didn't go down well with him. At least she looks sane.Alex thought finally after a quick obversevation. Yes, She did look friendly. Maybe he should talk to her. If she hadn't disowned him yet for being a terrible excuse of a vampire. "Uhh.I'm Sorry, For not looking either. Because if I had looked then you wouldn't have bumped into me." He said sincerely.

Lucy smiled. He was quite the looker now, wasn’t he? Not like most of the people that she would run into at other times. All of them either got pissed off, and mumbled under their breath, or just acted like a complete idiot like they had never been ran into before. Even though the thought didn’t sound as right as it was, those situations were just… Repulsive to remember.
She was so startled by the thrusting of the collision, she didn’t notice that he was also a fellow vampire. Weren’t vampires supposed to be…. Graceful? She shrugged it off, all of them had off days once in a while. It was nothing to be ashamed of. Lucy herself had quiet a bit of tumbles and collisions with other people, sometimes in a car, although she never let it get to her.
She looked up from her small four foot, soon to be, five foot height and noticed he spilled his coffee over his hoodie. She felt mortified, the second she could’ve met someone half decent, she ruined it by doing something stupid. She felt her head flood with things to say, other than the cliché, “Oh, my, god. I’m Soo sorry!” That, was just for little girls. Not a two hundred year old vampire, woman .
She juggled multiple comebacks through her mind before deciding on one that would just have to do, she couldn’t just stand there and say nothing. “I’m really sorry. I shouldn’t have been so distracted.” She ran her hand along her jaw line, in worriment more than just doing it for a reaction.
She finally got to grip with her mental disagreement that if she would just shut up and not babble that maybe she would still have the chance. She ran all of the babbles through her mind, trying her hardest not to spill them out of her mouth. She finally got most of them out of the way and lowered her hand from her face.
Instead she extended her hand in a greeting stance, “I’m Lucy, Lucy Kartreight.” Another statement flooded her mind, bringing up many different greetings she had with other people. I don’t know if you’re going to shake my hand or rip my arm off.

ooc: Four foot? Four foot?! And there goes me thinking She was tall.. Oops xD XD
He stood a little speechlessly at the never-ending flow of sorry's from her mouth. It did make him feel a little guilty, He never paid attention to what was in front of him. He just preferred to stay in a route where it was less likely to annoy someone. Geez...It wasn't your fault. Even if it was, he wasn't going to blame her, He'd been taught from a young age to respect and be polite to women, even if he didn't want to. But he did now.
Alex blinked a few times and chewed his bottom lip like a nervous teenager about to tell their parents something not so good. He was too busy digesting her name in his head to notice the outstretched hand. Lucy eh?. Reminds me of the girl my father almost made me marry. Thank god she looks nothing like her. "Oh shit."Alexander said through cringeful eyes after noticing quite a good while after she was waiting for him to shake her hand. He quickly shook her hand, looking apologetically at her. "Alexander, Arnor. Sorry It took me a while to respond. I just think too much and then forget."He said sighing and shaking his head at himself.
He wondered if he had some sort of disorder, as he was again distracted by finding there was some coffee left in the cup. All seemed well now. He had some coffee still and he was talking to a woman. A woman who didn't like the sun, and was hiding a scary monster inside of her, just like him. Maybe its the caffeine that's making be distracted. Aw well. Small price to pay for such a niceee drink. "Sorry. He mumbled again, realizing he still wasn't speaking much. He never did well for meeting vampire women. Human women, he would talk the night away. But Female Vampires just where too much like women. Or the stereotype was. Then again, he wasn't the stereotypical male vampire. Stop judging people you fucking goooooon.

(xD It's okay, she is.. unusually, short. xD)
Lucy smiled at his introduction. It was nice to know that he didn’t think that he was the ‘big shit’ of the city. She hated people like that. Thinking that they fucking run the place because they say so. Even though she was told that she acted like that before. The thought stuck in her mind to make sure she didn’t act like that now.
She knew now that the constant apologizing wouldn’t really get anyone anywhere. So, she decided to agree with his apology, instead of making herself look like a fool. She looked around him for a quick second and noticed some more people that she had sworn she had seen before. She shrugged it off, no one could ever be around here that she ever met before. It was just idiotic to even think about.
She turned her attention back to Alexander. Looking at his coffee and then back at his stained hoodie. She couldn’t pry away the thought that it was her fault for spilling his coffee on himself. The least she could do was buy him another coffee. Her mind switched back to his name. She swore that she had ADD, or something. did he also go by Alex? she shook her head again, what a stupid thing to think about. There were ten thousand other things about him, and she decided to think about his name?! She rolled her eyes at herself. Sometimes, she was pitiful even for someone with no soul.
She looked up at him and then over to a nearby café. “Uhm, do you want me to buy you another coffee or something? I just still feel horrible about this.” She fidgeted with the money she had in her jean’s pocket. It wouldn’t hurt her any to buy him another one, maybe even herself one. She hoped that they would eventually get to know each other. And, if she kept swallowing her babbling words like she was supposed to, hopefully, she wouldn’t have a problem.

"Actually, Let me buy us both." He said with a content and finalizing nod of his head. Yes he would buy her a drink of the finest brew ever made.It was the least he could offer really, rather than a dorky smile which usually held no effect whatsoever. He wondered how she liked her coffee, black? Strong? Mild? Sweet? But soon enough he noticed he was thinking things that meant absolutely nothing in the current time and place. "How do you like your coffee?" He asked politely, thinking it was better to ask her than let it stew away in his mind. Small questions like these let him get ideas about the person. He wanted to know what type of person she was. He was no psychologist, but he could make a rough guess of a character. and she seemed to be pretty cool.
He noticed she was looking around her, was someone following her? If someone was, they wouldn't be a match for the both of them. And he intended to look after her, even though they had only exchanged greetings. He wasn't human, but he still shared the basic morals of protecting those who where weaker than you. It was in his blood to protect women and children. Even if she could rip your head off.
She seemed to be doing the same as him, just looking at each other and then their minds being on a somewhere else. He decided to take some action, as patient as he was, and he would be pretty happy standing there the whole day, he sweeped his hand over he shoulder before walking past her and stopping close by, "Coffee coffee coffee?" He said smiling widely like an over excited child. "And I am paying. And thats final." he said, trying his best at being firm but failing horribly.

Lucy perked up at the question. Finally being able to zoom back into reality for a change. “Uhm, black. All natural, as I say.” She laughed slightly, well, it was more like how her mother always said. She always said adding anything to it took away most of the flavor and natural sweeteners in it in the first place. She smiled at the thought of her mother, she was after all, the person that morphed her into the Lucy she had become today.
The thought struck her that she was looking around too much, like a scatterbrained dog looking for a squirrel to chase. She try to fixate her eyes on something. Attempting to keep focused on what he was doing and saying, without looking like a total creeper. She turned as he walked past her and up the sidewalk and stopping a few feet away. His personality was more energetic than hers. Which she thought was cool also. She had never really met anyone with more of an energetic atmosphere than she was used to.
She smirked at his attempt to be firm, and walked up beside him, prepared to keep a decent pace with him as well. “Fine fine fine. You can pay, but just this once.” She kept the smirk that laughed its way on her face and turned toward the way he was heading. She started a slow, somewhat steadying pace and released her hands from her jeans pockets. She had to admit, she was feeling a bit insecure. She hadn’t trusted a complete, male stranger since her sire. She cringed at the thought and pushed it away as fast as it came entering her mind. “So, this Alexander person.” She paused for a moment, allowing the blood to flow through her mind for proper thinking. “What’s he like?”

Alex threw a confused yet amused expression at her, the way she was looking around, then trying not to."Crazy Eyes?"He said with an overwhelming smile, attempting to contain any childish laughter begging to escape from his mouth. It would be more funny if she was boss-eyed..He cleared his throat and smiled normally. He didn't want her to think he had some sort of problem. Like some nerdy fidgety personalty changing psychotic. That would be a new one. He'd never saw one of them. Since she liked her coffee black, All was good. His tastes for coffee changed daily, but today he happened to be a black person too. Though he disagreed with the 'all natural'. If you wanted all natural, you would eat the coffee beans. He'd tried it. It was a pretty tasty snack. Not to mention awfully bitter, but that was the whole thing about coffee that he liked. Sure he'd gotten a few weird looks from people as he ate a handful of coffee beans down the street. But who were they to judge if they hadn't tried THE snack of the century.
He slowed his pace once she got beside him, Just this once eh? He was tempted to make this a regular thing, She was the word rad as reincarnated as a woman. Not that he knew exactly the definition of 'rad', But it sounded better than awesome. "Alexander? Hes a ass. I hate him."He said with fake burning resentment in his eyes. "He's lazy and sleeps all day, and then eats too much pie. He smokes too much and nearly burnt down his apartment with straighteners"He said. He did like pie. Pie was a good meal. And well, It was better pointing out his flaws than making out he was some god of the night. He was just your average noob "He wouldn't mind if Lucy called him Alex, as Alexander makes him feel like he should be some sort of Emperor."He nodded.

“Well, there has to be something about this, Alex person, that isn’t all bad.” She was glad he didn’t go on and on about how great he thinks he is. But, lets face it, everyone has to brag about themselves sometimes. She did, sometimes more than she should, but she did. Out of all the things that he had just listed, she really didn’t find anything that she could be bothered by, if things ever were to go further, like friends? Yes, she needed more of those, less of enemies.
Her heels clicked against the pavement with every pounding step that she took. It probably was a good choice to wear them today, without them she would be her natural height. With these on, she would guess that she was at least five foot, pushing five one. Thank god, she didn’t know why people wanted to be short. It was so demeaning of her being. People constantly starting fights, not knowing what they’re up against. They were certainly surprised when she ripped their face off. Oh yes, she got violent. She could kick ass, while being in heels.
People maneuvering around them, acting like it was nothing. She had to admit, it took her by surprise. She hadn’t been in London since, she could remember, and she had gotten so used to the New York lifestyle. No, the sitcoms that took place there, were not exaggerating. People really would cause fights over practically anything. She remembered one, in particular. She had been walking down the street, minding her own business, when some pigheaded idiot bumped into her. She didn’t make a big deal about it, but man did he. He started flailing his arms, and yelling at the top of her lungs. People were so annoying when they got loud. She finally couldn’t take it anymore, and flipped him, over her shoulder, like he was just a piece of paper. He landed on the sidewalk with a thud, and she just kept going about her way.
She sighed slightly, embracing the environment change and awaited his answer.
