A cold wind began to blow from the nearby forest as night fell on London. Humans began to pack up their carts and bushels and barrels in the market, business began to close down, stores flipped their signs and locked up and people headed home. Families that had spent the day in the park played one last game of frisbee, or catch and then packed their picnic baskets and loaded into their cars on their way home. For an hour London was quiet.
The park was dark, light not yet come on to light the trails that wound their way through and around the play gems and benches and vast fields of grass now littered with left behind picnic trash. The, an hour after the sun had fallen and the moon's reign had begun, the shadows seemed to become alive as vampyres and other night critters woke and stretched their limbs before taking their separate ways.
From a storm ditch not too far from the park a young looking boy crawled out and dusted himself off. He had long black hair spiked and leaning to the left with his bangs framing his face. He was dressed in a simple whit shirt with a black jacket that had many straps and buttons to decorate and fasten it. Apon his lower half he wore skinny black leather pants that tucked into pointed toe boots adorned with two leather straps that buckled at his ankles. His eyes were lined with dark shadow and liner giving his clear eyes some eerie definition. He walked to the park with a fluid gate holding himself upright with authority. Apon his lips a wicked smile danced and his eyes blinked lazily and flicked to and fro watching fellow vampyres go about their business.
He dipped his right hand into his pocket and drew out two red capsules and popped them into his mouth as he walked. A thin ribbon of red leaked from the left corner on his mouth and filled the air around him wit the sweet metallic scent of blood. He wandered aimlessly around the park until he got to the biggest play gem. There he climbed to the top and grinned claiming it as his. He had a great view of the entire park from this resting spot and he could watch for any foolish humans who wandered too close.
He had spent a long time down in the caverns under London, it was time he came out and had some fun. He grinned as he thought of the elders, Hmmm, I wonder if I've been missed? He whispered softly to the wind as his eyes rested apon a few individuals entering the park.
He ducked down into the play gem and to the other side to get a better view of the closer of the two individuals, as well as to await unless it was a possible target.

Jez still couldn't get over what she was. She'd been a vampire for a while now, or at least long enough. Sighing she stepped into the streets. The sly had darkened over an hour ago, it was her turn to walk the streets. She'd been living in a small apartment owned by no one which suited her and the one other human that lived there well. He didn't bother her so she didn't bother him in return. It was only fair. Jez was in a plain black guys tank top and blue jeans. They were so plain but they showed off her figure perfectly, in a way that wasn't showy.
Her glossy black and purple hair fell to her shoulders in layers and her side bang fell into place as she walked down the windy sidewalk. Turning the corner she saw a sign for a park and immediately turned in there. She was hungry and it seemed fairly large, maybe she'd find something... or someone worth her while. Walking around all she saw were trees a bench here and there. She was about to give up when she noticed a small play ground. She'd had a slide once, back when she had been innocent.
Turning off the path she started towards it, then froze. She wasn't alone. Jez could feel the eyes on her plainly. Scanning the area she didn;t see anything. What would she do if it was an attack? She hadn't been attacked yet but she heard about it often. One moment you'd be walking down the streets the next moment you'd been mugged and raped out of nowhere... sometimes even dead if it was vamps. Still contemplating she stood frozen. She had no other choice.

Ellisif ran across the street and slipped in behind the park gates, pushing herself up against the wall as a police car ambled past. She wasn't getting picked up again, not after the last time almost ended in her bursting into flames in a jail cell. When she was sure the 'danger' was gone, she began walking deeper into the park. She could hear the general rustling about of little night creatures and was just in mind for getting something to drink, when she spotted a newspaper lying half off the bench- a perfectly good bin just inches away. Ellisif didn't know why she was drawn to that paper all of a sudden, but she picked it up, smoothing out the creases of the front page, her eyes picking out the date. She was shocked to say the least. A kind of sick haze was falling over her and she stumbled, falling limply on to the bench. Five years...? She couldn't get her head around it. How the Hell could five years already have passed since she was turned? At best she thought maybe it was coming up to a year, 14 months at a stretch- but five years? Ellisif threw the paper in the bin. With shocking clarity she realised she would probably not have to hide from the police now. No one would want to question her about where she was from, no one would still be looking for her after that long. She held her head in her hands, the bubble of denile she had built around herself was threatening to break. This was not a bad dream she would ever wake from. But now was not the time to dwell, because her newly wrought senses were trying to tell her something. That she wasn't alone. She pushed her long dark hair out of her eyes, happy that atleast she hadn't given in to tears, and turned around, sensing something behind the bushes. She crept in low and saw at once that beyond her hiding place was a playground, and high above at the peak of the climbing frame someone sat with their back to her. It was a strange feeling, a slithering sense of knowing that crept over her now- this was the first vampire she had seen this close. Ofcourse she had always sensed them before, but it was always fleeting, she never had a chance to just grab one and yell ' what the Hell have you lot done to me?!' Plus she could never really be that forward. Ellisif was debating on whether to go nearer, did she really have the guts? She couldn't judge a book by it's cover, he looked young but as she knew well now, he could have been ancient and powerful and might just squash her where she stood. Oh my God what if he tries to stake me- huh does that even work? Oh God- Her wild imagination was cut short when she saw another approach- another vampire! A girl one too. Had she been spotted? Was it so wrong for Ellisif to stay where she was and see what happened to this new one? What if she had it all wrong, what if maybe... just maybe she would have someone to talk to now? She didn't dare to hope, she just had to watch and wait. -Word Count: 576

Liam grinned as he sensed both parties come closer. He darted up and around and to the top of the play gem and then leapt down to the ground before the closest party. Why, hello there. Who might you be? A young vampire all alone. Tsk Tsk not a very wise decision on you part little Miss. And you hiding in the shadows[/color he turned to the other vampire. Why don't you come on out and join this group that seems to be forming. We won't bite. It wouldn't do any good anyways. Yet tell me ladies, why are ones so young as yourselves, out all alone. Don't you know there are older vampyres that would love to take advantage of you? How would you defend yourselves? or, rather, could you defend yourselves against a vampyre that is say, over a hundred, over six hundred years old? He grinned wickedly and then disappeared only to reappear up on the play gem once more.
From here he looked the two over, they weren't that bad looking, sure one looked quite new and still had that human scent about them, he'd just have to watch himself around her. And the other, well sh reeked of fear and caution and seemed quite apprehensive to even come near. He frowned and shook his headMy My what have vampyres come to these days. Pitiful creatures that humans would walk all over. Not properly trained nore set off in the right direction. But then, who am I to talk? I've never even stepped foot in the right direction. He chuckled to himself and awaited the reactions of these two. He was curious as to if they would prove any fun to be around, or if he would have to go elsewhere to find some fun.

Jez's fear shifted into anger as she realized it was a guy. Immediately she wanted to rip his head off. Her hands were already tingling to do so. Clenching her jaw she took his eyes off him for a moment to take in the other vamp. She was new too but Jez wasn't sure who was newer. She wasn't sure how long he'd kept her afterwards and how long she'd been on the streets. It was hard to keep track of time when you were too angered to step a foot outside. Looking back to the guy she already despised with such hatred she crossed her arms.
Glaring at him she retorted, "Maybe it suits me just fine to be alone." Why did he care so much anyways? Nobody else ever cared. Nobody even sent out a search for her when she went missing. She'd checked newspapers. All that they had said was that a small family had been murdered and there wasn't nothing to go off of, they had figured she was dead and buried nearby. Then they'd left it and gone on with their buisness. Which left her to literally start fresh. She began with a new look, a new attitude and a new life. Literally.
Moving towards him with guarded eyes and deep set anger she moved right in front of him, only inches away. "Maybe I prefer it being alone to living with men like you." Jez said fiercely. Anger continued to well up inside her. It had been a while since she'd seen another man. And this one was particularly arrogant. And it bugged her. Alot.

So he had noticed her, dammit, so much for being cautious . Ellisif shuffled out and stood her full height, but she was awkward in this new company. She'd been left alone so long to defend herself she wasn't quite sure how to act. Was there a code of conduct or something? "Yet tell me ladies, why are ones so young as yourselves, out all alone. Don't you know there are older vampyres that would love to take advantage of you? How would you defend yourselves? or, rather, could you defend yourselves against a vampyre that is say, over a hundred, over six hundred years old?"Her dark eyes grew wide at his casual assessment of her and the other girl. She'd spent so long ambling about, trying to stay unnoticed that it hadn't really occurred to her that there were other dangers out there. But despite this, she was intrigued by the sheer numbers he used- were there really people out there, no, wait- were there really vampires out there so old? She had a feeling that maybe this guy was exaggerating or just putting on some kind of show... she couldn't imagine anyone being interested in her, she was no threat and was probably next to useless as things stood now. But before she could say anything, the other girl was squaring up to him, and she was suddenly reminded of two cats meeting for the first time. Unlike dogs, cats had no real sense of communication, no 'hi there how do you do' just alot of fear or curiousity, mixed signals leading to an inevitable fight. "Humans don't walk all over me." She blurted out, trying to diffuse the situation. She stepped a little closer, wondering how long it had been sicne she'd actually talked out loud. "I mean, they don't even notice me. I stay out of the way." Her expression brightened a little. "Do you mean to say there's training involved? For being like this?" Was she coming across as too eager all of a sudden? Ellisif shrank back a little, looking away. "I've never met another vampire before." She glanced over to the girl out of the corner of her eye. "Let alone two at the same time."She sighed, pushing her hair out of her slightly grubby face. " My name is Elli..." -Word Count: 440

Liam chuckled at the young vamps, so innocent, so untrusting. Sheesh don't get your panties all in a wad dearie. I'm merely expressing my concerns. Back down before you anger me. He smiled politely but his eyes glinted with warningBoth of you should be able to sense age and authority amongst the vampyre race and yet you are both ignorantly unaware of it. I don't care what your hardships have been. I've been walking this planet for over 600 years and I'm betting your little fiasco has nothing on the shit I've lived through. Sure I may appear young, but Madams I've been around and seen what's come around. Don't get all sassy with me over something that has nothing to do with me. As for you, a timid vampyre is a dead vampyre. The only way to learn is to do, is to observe discreetly. There is no school for vampyres. However we do have a law system, however corrupt it may look it is there for us to fallow. Also there is a select group of vamps out in the world set to make sure other vamps follow said laws and also, they are supposed to take care of the younger ones. Apparently they over looked the both of you.
With this said Liam shrugged and stretched. He was getting quite hungry and irritated with these two. One had a temper the other was timid. Two of the worse traits a vamp could have, hopefully, neither had both. If so, the elders would be on them in a heartbeat. He looked ach over again summing them up. The timid one had said he name was Elli...He smiled,I'm Liam Erebus by the way. Simple teen from an early century bitten by a noble vamp and then left to fend for myself. Now I lurk here and there causing havoc for the other elders to deal with. I keep them on their toes and make sure they don't get lazy or forget that there are wild vamps out in the world plotting the demise of humans and the death to weaker vamps. And what, Madam is your name? He turned to the hot tempered girl awaiting a response. The youngest of the three of them he also noted.

Jez crossed her arms but backed down moving away from him. Already his closeness was giving her chills. "Why do you care? And you really don't want to know why I was 'overlooked'. It's a long story of which I would never share with your kind." she said through clenched teeth. Jumping off the play thing she moved towards the girl she'd heard was named Ellie. She was older then her, she could tell that much. By a few years at least. She was pretty, and had that touch of happiness that always made things brighter, always put a smile on everybody's face even when there wasn't a bright light at the end of the tunnel.
Flashing fangs in a fake smile in his direction, she rolled her eyes and looked back to Ellie. Jez was obviously the youngest which would have been intimidating had it not been for the fact that she no longer cared. She wasn't exactly helpless and even if she was she wasn't about to let on and she wasn't afraid of death. Not after what she'd been through, it was practically a normal thing for her.
Extending a hand she smiled slightly for her. "Jezebelle. But you can call me Jez." she said. She was perfectly okay with girls, no matter how anti social she was. "Oh, and Bruce Almighty, back off to you too." She added rolling her eyes. He acted as if he was king of their worlds now. It was pissing her off already. Which wasn;t exactly the best thing with the anger that was already adding up. She would have to take it out on somebody if she was pushed too far. It wasn't one of her best traits but it helped sometimes. Especially in tight situations like these and you needed to be on your toes.

The older vampire was right, she could sense his authority over herself, and it wasn't just the sense of him being bolder in character. It felt like a tickling over the back of her neck, slithering under her skin when she looked at him- a form of recognition that had her uneasy. Ellisif imagined it would be a similar feeling you would get if you were trapped inside a cage with a wild animal- would it go for you? Or would it pass over peacefully? "Also there is a select group of vamps out in the world set to make sure other vamps follow said laws and also, they are supposed to take care of the younger ones. Apparently they over looked the both of you."
This had her attention. There had been times when she felt as if she were being followed, but she put it down to her own paranoia. She hadn't realised that five years had even passed since her... well, her death. Living on the streets as a new vampire had mixed her up a little, leaving her without a centre of balance, without a frame of reference. So what do you do? You run, you survive. There was nothing shameful in it. It wasn't like she chose this life. But she kept her opinions to herself, there was no point adding fuel to a possible fire. "Liam Erebus... pleased to meet you."At this stage the other girl approached her, and she stood her ground, rather than edge back like she normally would. Unlike with the older vampire, she felt an instinctive curiosity and deep down was impressed by the girl's fiery nature. She wasn't prone to envy, but if she had been, Jezebelle, or Jez as she preferred, would probably be the type of person who she would admire. Ellisif had always been drawn to strong characters. Had that been her downfall the night of the party...? She tried not to think about it, and smiled shyly when the girl offered her hand. "Jez... okay. Great." She took her hand and shook it, realising for a good while this was the only person to person contact she'd had in a long time. And when Jez made a crack about 'Bruce Almighty' she actually got the reference and gave an impromptu laugh, without worrying her fangs might show. But Ellisif caught herself quickly. Liam's presence felt heavy on her, almost making her wish she could flinch away. Ofcourse it never really occurred to her that she could be bold, that she didn't have to be so submission and selfless as she had been in life. An eyeopener like that didn't happen by itself, it was usually forced on you. Ellisif couldn't really tell if she was younger or older than Jez, but could already feel herself deferring in her favour- after all you can't make a leader out of a shy sheep-like follower. And that's really all she was- a sheep in wolf's clothing. "So now what...?" She chanced a nervous look at Liam. "Are you going to turn us in or something?"

Liam sighed heavily and rolled his eyes. He looked down at the two lady vamps and shook his head in dismay. Seriously, what have vampyres come to. We'll change any human that catches our fancy. Here I am nearing my mid 600's and I have yet to find a single soul worth changing. Can't the other vampyres resist temptation? He shrugged his shoulders and eyed the feisty lady with dark eyes. He'd seen other young vamps with horrible backgrounds but none had such a temper as this one. He frowned as he remembered his past and his eyes glassed over. vampyres like this one infuriated him to his core. They thinking they were the only ones who had suffered, the only ones who knew pain. What could she possibly know of pain? What could she possibly know of loss? He quickly looked away as his temper grew and his eyes threatened to over flow.
He leapt from the play gem once more landing on the ground silently with his face cast in shadow as his hair fell over his eyes. He grinned as he walked to the feisty one, Young ones should learn to watch their tongues. They should learn that though they may have been attacked by a male vampyre, female vampyres are just as deadly. Also, you're not the only one who has known pain. You're not the only one who was turned under extreme circumstances and, young lady, you're not the only one who knows pain. You've hardly begun to live, what could you possibly know of pain? Rape? Abuse? Loss of family? Try living the centuries and experience it all. Try being naught but a child and experiencing everything torn away from you right before your eyes. Try to imagine the person who has just taken everything, come for you yet not kill you like the others but treat you with pity and compassion and take you under their wing. Try to imagine living with them, growing up knowing they are the one responsible or your loss yet you owe them your life. Then dear young one, imagine then that they are the one that changes you and now you walk alone because they disappear. After taking everything you love and hold dear, after keeping you close for years after that, they take the last mortal possession from you and make you walk their path. Liam's voice was low and full of hate. His eyes were dark and shadowed as he spoke spitting the words at the young lady. He had no compassion nor humor for this one. Not any longer.
He then turned his face to the other, As for you, perhaps you'll make a better vampyre one day but for now, I'd suggest working on your skills. You can sneak around undetected, this will prove useful when hunting. Also you have hints of power yet you are courage less. gain the courage and you could be something great.
He then stepped back from both of them and looked up at the night sky picking constellations out from the stars. He smiled softly before closing his eyes and turning away from both of them.
You'd both do well to start acting like the creature fate has made you into. It will make life easier to handle. Let the past go and move on. help your kind as well as the other races. If not, you will only kill yourself in the end.

Jez had to bite her lip to keep it from quivering as the older vamp literally told her life story in one short paragraph. He seemed to pick out everything that had happened to her. Lettin her hair fall across her afce as she looked down she closed her eyes to stop the tears from falling. Her chest heart as he kept going, anger deep in his voice. She feighned from him instinctually as he came particularly close before looking away from him and to the jungle gym. Swallowing hard she wiped a falling tear away angirly as he talked to the other girl. Crying wouldn't make anything better. She'd learned that a long time ago.
Jez stepped away from them, now standing a few feet away a shadow fell across her face with the moon at her back. Her eyes were hidden behind her side bang and her hands were clenched at her sides. She was done and now just wanted to leave. She didn't like this vamp. He... scared her. He reminded her of... of her abuser. The one that had ruined her life and her ability to love, to care. Taking a deep breath she was careful to not to look directly into Liam's eyes. She knew by experience what could happen if you did that, even with an amteur. He had that... feeling to him that reminded her all too well of the guy she despised more than any other male.
"Well if you went through all that. And had to suffer all this time. Then you've just summed up my past and foretold my future," was all she dared to say. Anything more and she'd anger him more. And at the moment that didn't seem to be the smartest thing to do. She'd seen what happened when you pushed males over the edge. It wasn't exactly pretty.

Ellisif was more than a little shocked at the verbal exchange going on between these two, not least because of the frank content. It was the kinda stuff you read about in horror stories, whereas her background was obviously far more charmed and full of quite alot of love. About all she had to regret was the nature of her turning, and harming her brother. She had often wondered what it would be like to return to them, her family. What would they make of her? Right now, she couldn't help but think she was probably the luckiest out of all three. Despite her shyness, she had lived a very sheltered life, and also a sheltered death. She was actually quite embarassed about how naive she was and shuffled uncomfortable in the silence, unable to find a suitable place for her hands. Then there was the stomachache. Atleast, that's what she called it- rather than saying 'the hunger.' Ellisif chewed on her lip, everything was suddenly very dark and heavy. "As for you, perhaps you'll make a better vampyre one day but for now, I'd suggest working on your skills. You can sneak around undetected, this will prove useful when hunting. Also you have hints of power yet you are courage less. gain the courage and you could be something great."Ellisif couldn't see the truth in what he was saying, she was still heavily in denile about alot of things. But she was caught between her curiosity to know more and her hunch that she should just turn on her heels and leg it. Plus she would need to feed soon and she had a feeling that humans were probably on everyone else's menu- she definitely did not have the stomach for that. Satisfying her cravings with a bunch of tiny meals kept the worst at bay... she couldn't risk letting her hunger get the best of her. "Well thank you, sir, uh, Liam. I'll keep that in mind. And... umm... I should probably get going now..." She cast a furtive glance at Jez, but her face was hidden. Unsure whether to stick out the hand of friendship to her she decided to just start backing away. "It was a pleasure to meet you both." [[OOC: sorry for shorter post! I have to run and I didn't want to hold everyone up :> ]]
