It was time for Andree to get out of New Orleans and out into the rest of the world. And what better place to start than New York? It was big, had lots of things going on and long streets where she could just walk as long as she can. Yes, New York was the place to be.
It took her a while be Andree finally got up enough courage to leave her home in the French Quarter of New Orleans and to go on a sort of vacation. It had been decades since she had left Louisiana and she was going to make every minute of it count.
Tonight she was going out... Out where? She wasn't too sure at the moment, but it would definitly begin with a walk around the city. Get her bearings so to speak.
She comtemplated what she was kgoing to wear for this little excursion, and decided black dress she was currently in wasn't proper walking around town attire. She settled on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Plain, but it worked.
As she walked around town she observed everyone and everything around her. There was a couple across the street, totally unaware of her gaze, and it seemed that they didn't even realize that they were out in public. They were just into eachother, ignoring the rest of the world.
Andree continued on her little excursion, stopping every now and then to look around and get familiar with her surroundings.
This time she stopped infront of a store and peered through the window at the merchandise inside. It was a clothing store. Nothing special, it carried the styles that seemed to be most popular these days.
Shaking her head at the sight of a short leather skirt and fishnets, she moved away from the window and continued on her way. There was much more to see, and little time to see it all in.
