Dear god, shopping was amazing. Walking the mall streets was almost like walking the runway for Rose. Freedom was only as much as you made it be. And Rose was sure going to make the hell of it. Even now, after being through three stores, Rose almost had two arms filled. That said something. And poor Ali and Nixie, only had a few bags to their arms. What was wrong with them? They didn't like shopping. How could a woman not like shopping? She herself, loved it. A second life almost. She turned back to her friends, laughing a little. "Let's compare bags.." She started off slowly. A low chortle came from her lips. Of course Rose would spend more than Ali, Rose grew up that way. Or, she made herself that way, not really sure of which anymore. Sure, she'd become a changed person, but one thing that would never change, was her addicted nature in shopping. A familiar scent wafted through her nose. Gucci. A little gasp escaped her lips, and she grabbed their hands, dragging her into the enticing scent of it. She nearly dropped her bags as she stepped over the threshold, smiling. She shrugged off her bags, cardigan, and sunglasses, and went to the side rack. Ali had to buy something in here, just had too. They wouldn't leave until she did. Rose, being the experienced customer here, wouldn't be bothered by salesclerks. Ali, however would be. She watched out of the corner of her eye as one made her way over to Ali. Poor thing, Ali wasn't going to pay attention. If Rose knew her little cousin, she'd be in awe for quite sometime. Within a few breaths, Rose had several skirts, jeans, shirts, and jewelry. She turned back to the front, catching the front of a store. La Perla. Her jaw dropped, and a girlish giggle emitted from her. "Hey Ali, if you be a good girl and buy something here..I'll take you over there." She threw her head in the direction of the intimates store. She giggled a little. Of course she would tease Ali about sex. It flustered just about anyone in the Decumbry, or Shadings side of the family. She almost floated on air over to her cousin, looking at what she'd picked out too far. "Don't worry about the tab, let me know when you're done and we'll go over to La Perla, K?" She turned her head to on the back wall, behind the lounge part. "Excuse me," Her British tone was soft. "Can I get that dress," She pointed to the one on the left, " she pointed. "In a double zero, k, thanks." She said softly, watching the clerk scurry off. "So, dear, how's being married?" Taking a whiff out of perfume. Her relationship status was..well. Taken. By Derek. The ball was just to perfect for them. And they both seemed matched equally. They were taking things extraordinarily long, haven't even kissed yet. But slow was good. It meant that he was serious. Serious was what she needed. Her life had to be pinned down at some point. She needed a solid life, something she could lean back on and not have collapsed beneath her. It'd been missing from her life. The salesperson came back, and handed Rose the garment. "Thank you!" She said, and dismissed her with a look of her eye. Derek seemed to hold that type of possession in him. And not because he owned a restaurant either. Strong, charming, smart, sweet, and really strong. She pounced her way over to Phoenix, seeing what she'd picked up. "Same deal with you. Anything you want, you tell me and it's yours." Considering the harsh words she'd exchanged with Phoenix a few days earlier, she owed it to her. For eternity as well. Thank god Rose had changed. She couldn't have kept the people in her life much longer if she hadn't. She smiled at her friends, and looked at a shirt, and jeans. "Oh my, these would look perfect with you Phoenix.." Her eyes darted over to a stilletto shoe. "With those." She laughed, "You should get them.." Another small attempt to apologize to Phoenix. She didn't think she'd ever be able to express fully how sorry she was. She stepped over to the sunglasses, and tried on endless pairs. She settled on two, priced at $150 each. Good thing there were discounts and sales. Speaking of shoes for Phoenix, she'd need shoes for herself. Especially at the event dinner she had to attend for Lanvin. Dear god, sometimes being a socialite model was the suckiest thing in the entire world. The money spent sucked too. But sometimes it was worth it, and Rose looked good. She got good reviews, got good money, had friends, and a love with her. Things were good now. Stable. She stepped out of her own Givenchy shoes, and attracted heads of several people in the store as well as they saw her natural height. A flush creeped her cheeks. Height was an issue too. But she stepped into the shoes, immediately growing two inches or so. That was better. Turning to admire the shoes, she added them to Mount. Rose. Attempting to walk without falling, she set all her belongings on the counter. "Can you hold these for me?" A whisper on her breath, the clerk nodded. Furrowed brows, was the woman dumbfounded by the site of her, or the clothes she was buying? Hopefully neither. Today was not a negative day. A positive day. Recently things hadn't been looking up. Time they did. [/size]

Shopping. Traveling around from store to store to find clothes and other things that was needed. Normally spending a ton of money on something that you truly didnt need. That was a basic definition for any other person. But of course, Rose Decumbry was not any other person. Oh no, her cousin was one of a kind and she would make sure to take them all over this mall before the night was through. Rose knew where to shop and what stores to shop in. She knew it all. Ali, on the other hand, did not.
The stores and glamorous things were just more stuff she couldnt afford to buy. That she really didnt need. She was content buying her stuff at Wal Mart and Target. But if she uttered those words to Rose she was afraid her cousin might have a heart attack and actually die from it even though they had no beating heart. So when Rose had offered the trip, she had pasted on a pretty little smile and agreed. But at least she wasnt the only one who had to follow Rose around. Nix was here as well.
After their third store she chuckled slightly and glanced at the two bags she had. Rose had almost two full arms, which was to be expected. Glancing at Nix she laughed slightly and shook her head. Shopping really wasnt her thing. Rose had been trying to get her to buy more fashionable things for a very long time. Almost since they moment they met. And definitely since they found out they were family. It was a never ending cycle of trying to tell Rose she didnt want to dress that way.
Suddenly though, Rose grabbed their hands and dragged them into another store. She had no clue what it was but obviously Rose did. Which was no surprise. She followed along behind her cousin and just smiled softly and then looked around the place. It smelt...like clothes. Rose could define each fashion by scent. For her, she culd identify people easily. But clothes? No way. They all smelt the same to her! But looking at the brand on the clothes she realized it was Gucci. Shaking her head, her brown ringlets tossed over her shoulder she glanced back to see if the boys were still there with them.
She knew that Vic hated malls. To close together and to many people. She told him he didnt have to come but he came anyway. The reason why was unclear to her. He could have stayed home and she would have been fine with that. But at least he had another guy to hang out with. Derek didnt seem so bothered by this. She was pretty sure he was used to the women shopping thing. He hadnt bought a single thing, just stayed quiet, smiling the whole time with his hands in his pockets. Blowing a kiss to her husband she walked further into the store and went over to a section she thought she might like something.
It was hard finding her style of clothing in these high to do places. Rose had no troubles of course. But for Ali, that was another topic. She needed to nearly scrounge through everything. And the two bags she did have were things that Rose had made her scoop up. Both were dresses surprisingly even though her cousin knew she hated dresses and would never wear them unless something formal called for them. But she wanted Rose happy and she seemed so much happier here and now then she had in a long time. And hey, she wasnt trying to make Vic into Vic-cabob. That was a good sign.
"Hey Ali, if you be a good girl and buy something here..I'll take you over there."
At the sound of her cousins voice she naturally looked up. It was natural instinct to do so. But when she did she almost wished she had ignored her. Glancing over at the place Rose tilted her head to, it took her a second to realize what it was. When she did though her brown eyes widened to the size of baseballs and her mouth dropped open. Her cheeks also went completely red. Oh yeah. Real subtle. But she couldnt help it. Rose sure did love embarrassing her. She looked back down at the clothes she was rummaging through and cleared her throat. She was hoping and praying Vic hadnt heard and wouldnt see her red face and ask what was up.
"Oh I hate you so much Rose." She teased her cousin when she came over. She chuckled softly and then shook her head again. but she nodded slightly at the tab remark. She should have figured Rose would want to pay for everything. She had paid for the wedding after all. Even though Ali told her she didnt have to. But what her cousin wanted, she got. And sure enough, the tab for that wedding had been paid for. the second part of that phrase though she shook her head. "Oh no no no. Your not taking me over there." She told her and let out a small embarrassed laugh. She really did not want to go over there. Not with Vic there. She had a bad feeling though that Rose would take her anyway.
Her cousin zipped off finding some clothes that she wanted to peek at and Ali banged her head on the clothes hangers on the rack she was looking at. Oh lovely. She should have denied this trip. But she wanted Rose happy. She kept reminding herself that. And even though Rose was across from her a bit, she was able to ask her a question quit clearly. This one though, brought a smile to her face. "Its wonderful. I couldnt ask for a better husband. I love him to death." She said and that far away look that daydreams got came into her eyes and she stood still for a moment. She snapped out of it though and then glanced towards the boys.
There really wasnt anything here that she wanted. But she would try and find something. Maybe some shoes or something. Seeing as thats what Rose was trying on now. Walking over to her, she folded her arms and grinned at her. "You look stunning. Like always. I say you should get them hun."
