The little quaint shop sat just center square of Parsons. Seven worked at Trippleton's for many years, and of course she had done other jobs back in New York during her leave, but coming back to Vegas was hard to pass up. Especially when the new job labored for more money than before. The place was well known for catering and design, and an all around planning center for every individual who was about to have an event.
She had just finished the Raddison couples wedding, and the Devonshire baby shower, which was incredibly fun, and to just plan a sweet sixteen, well that was work all in another chapter. Now she had been sitting at that glass desk going through her appointment book. Why some people had wanted to meet at night was beyond her, but much like New York, Vegas stayed awake at all hours, and people did have a day job.
Especially when they looked potentially rich and the commission was fat. Then she could understand it all. This particular couple she was about to see for an appointment had been very special, but not in a way that people like her would completely be reserve to. It wasn't as if she was dense about the realities of that world she lived in, Seven was rather understanding.
Her book read Ambrose/Shadings, which of course had been a system of men then women, and it worked that way for years and years in the papers, it would work for her as well. Only tonight she would meet with Shadings, as her name had been underlined. Another little system she had.
Fingers dialed numbers and the speakerphone came on, the other line ringing before a boy's voice toned out through the speaker. Her hand picked up the phone and as she had the menu in front of her, she would order something that would arrive after her client and her had been through. She already missed dinner, and now she was going to get home incredibly late. Which was no big deal, she had nothing else to do the following day but lounge about, clean up some, and maybe do a little bit of shopping.
A few spreads for various others laid out on her desk. Some lace and light breeze florals', then there had been a wiccan wedding which she had loved working on because it was contrived in nature. What this new client had wanted was unsure to her, but she had seen the dress and knew of the location, which was an odd combination, but Seven loved a challenge. She did love the story behind the two and their choice. He was color blind, hence the color of her dress, and the location had been an entity of combining love and soul kinship all at once. Like being double blessed.
Then there she was, walking past her window and moving through the door, Seven stood and smiled as she rounded toward her with her hand out to shake her own. "Hi.....Miss. Shadings...so glad to meet you....please...come in."

Today was one of her lucky days. Vic was at work today and she had a few free moments to her own. And while she had this free time, seeing as she was unemployed for now, she had went searching for a wedding planner. Someone that could help make their wedding something to remember. Ali herself was creative but it would be nice to have some help. And after some searching in between open times she had to herself, she had stumbled across a wedding planner. Well, more like a company and they had given her a specific person that they thought would make a perfect planner for her kind of wedding.
The only thing that Ali and Vic had discussed was the honeymoon and the place they wanted the wedding. She wouldnt tell him so, but she had the dress as well. It was picked special for him. And he would hopefully like it. Because the planner would need to work off of that dress. She had called Seven the other day and told her these details when Vic had been out. They then set up a date to speak in person and she was relieved that she was here in Vegas. Flying out of the state might be a bit suspicious to Vic. She would tell him later that she had hired someone. The sneaky little devil she was.
So grabbing her coat and heading out the door, she headed for Trippletons. She knew that Seven would already be waiting for her. And she didnt like to keep people waiting and so she promptly headed that way. She tucked her fingers into her coat pocket and nodded at some strangers as she passed by and then found herself more in town. The place should be around here somewhere. She should have went and hunted it down earlier but decided that she could find it well enough when the time came.
She passed by Vics bar along the way and she smiled as she heard it was pretty busy. He must be working really hard and a visit from her after might calm him down. She had been planning on visiting him later anyway. How long could the wedding plans take? Then again, she didnt have experience with this. How long would it take? She would just have to see when she got there. And see what ideas Seven had for her.
Walking a few blocks down from the bar she spotted the place, the bright lights of the building catching her attention. She had to smile and she walked past the big front window to the door that was on the side. When she had passed by she had spotted the human girl instantly. That had to be Seven seeing as she stood up once she walked in through the door.
"Hi.....Miss. Shadings...so glad to meet you....please...come in."
She smiled at the girl and then nodded, pulling off her coat and draping it over her arm. "Thank you. And thank you for meeting me at this time. Must be a pain for you. But its the only time Im free im afraid." She told her and shrugged her shoulders gently. She wasnt about to say she couldnt come during the day because she would fry.

She pulled off her coat, a lovely featured female who seemed so young to be married to someone. But in these days and ages, everyone appeared to be different than what they had looked like. To each their own she always said. "Thank you. And thank you for meeting me at this time. Must be a pain for you. But its the only time Im free im afraid."
A small mediocre giggle was made, a throaty sound that fit her personality. "Oh, don't even worry about that. I've had plenty of clients who can only come in after specific hours, so it's really no trouble."
Seven moved behind her desk, letting her hand motion to the chair across for her to sit down. "Sine you're a new client, I'll just go over the basics of our services." A nod as it laid nearly quizzical. Seven crossed her legs, adjusting herself comfortably in that chair as it rolled forward with a guiding heel.
"Usually when a client agrees to the terms we begin everything as soon as possible. I'll handle your decorations, everything from carpeting to flowers and everything in between. I'll offer a variety of invitations, and work everything around your schedule. The only thing you really need to do is agree to an idea and it's done."
Seven swallowed, letting fingers play with the pen in front of her. "You will be responsible for the guest list and seating chart, and since you already have your dress, it should be easy to work around that, and as far as location goes....well, there really is no better place anyone could think of." She smiled proudly and showed pearly whites. Such a happy spirited person Seven was, and it showed through her shiny smiles.
"As opposed to fee basis, clients will divulge about seventy-eight percent of the purchase fees, and because our service specializes in the sort of requests, specifically given by you,...." A night occasion, not unusual, but pretty rare. "We pretty much benefit in the end, which really saves you money. However; there has been the incidences of bad weather arriving, space, and of course we need a permit for the location you chose, but that's not really a problem, but we do not cover the permit fees." That was pretty much it.
Wouldn't be nice to know that she didn't have to actually pay for the wedding. That someone had already informed people of such an occasion and things had been agreed on. Wouldn't they all. "Do you have any questions?" A final portion before she would show her a few samples she had already put together, and they would need to sign documents and of course exchange personal information of contact.

Just glancing at Seven she could tell that the woman thought her far to young to be doing something like getting married. She looked fifteen to humans. But in reality her age was twenty three. She was a fine age to get married but people never noticed that. They always assumed by looks and first appearances. Ali had learned by personal experience to do that. To try and learn about a person through their personality and not looks.
But if she were to go by looks for Seven, she could have said she felt very warm to her. Inviting and sweet. Someone that you wouldnt mind talking to for hours on end with no breaks. She seemed like the kind of person that actually cared about her clients and wanted to make their day special. Even her little giggle matched the warm personality she was giving off. And that little tid bit of information about the after hours was interesting. So she wasnt the only vampire apparently that came here for wedding planning.
When she motioned for her to sit, she did so, plopping herself down gracefully into the chair and watching Seven across from her. Hearing the chair slide forward she smiled back at her and then nodded. Of course she would need to know all the terms of this. She hadnt planned a wedding before and she was also pretty sure that there would be some cost charges in there somewhere. But not to worry on that. She had saved up money from her old job and so she had plenty to pay for whatever was needed. She didnt want Vic to pay a thing. This was her surprise to him.
The terms and fees were not that bad in reality and she found herself nodding in places, smiling at her and sometimes chuckling. There really wouldnt be a problem at all. And she was excited for all of this. Of course, she would have to go back to their place and with Vic decide who all to invite. Who would come and who could make it. She had a feeling it would be a small wedding. But that was fine by her. Small weddings were sweet and personal. And as long as she was with Vic, she really didnt care how big the wedding was.
At the end of it all she smiled and shook her head. "Nope. No questions. I understand it all completely." Now came the fun part. She would actually get to start planning the wedding.
