Cassie has always been on the shy side. It's not that she doesn't like people; she actually can't stand to be alone. However, her issue with trust makes it very hard to meet new people without hating them. Getting to know her is a chore, but once the ice is broken, she can be a lot of fun.
Another of her more noticeable traits is her honesty. Only if her life depended on it, or someone decided they were going to hound her with questions about herself, would she lie, but even then, it would take raging flames or death threats to force the lies out. She remains calm in the most trying of situations, choosing to bottle up her emotions instead of letting them spill like any other normal woman. This creates a very dangerous werewolf, as she'll suppress her anger until she breaks. When that happens, all hell breaks loose and it's best to just leave her be. She lacks control over when she shifts into wolf form. It is almost always tied with emotions, and it's hard for her to shift back. This makes her seem a little bi-polar.
There are days when Cassie is serious as the grave and others where she act like an immature teenage girl, always cracking jokes at the most inappropriate of times. The people around her drastically affect her mood. Chances are, she'll be more much care-free if she's surrounded by humans than by other werewolves or vampires.
Cassie also tends to act on impulse, which often gets her into more trouble than she can handle. Only after she makes a decision does she think about what the consequences might be, and then, it's no fun to be near her because she worries and complains. One of her biggest problems is regretting a decision she made, and she's doing that almost every second.

HISTORY OVERVIEW• She was born just minutes after her twin brother Cody in a small town in Ireland where her mother was visiting family. Jacob, her father, was back in California, working at one of the various state parks, she forgets exactly which one. He didn't se his newborn children until a month later. Cassie grew up surrounded by nature. Both her parents worked, and still work, in state parks. She was home schooled with her brother Cody by her loving parents. Her brother was a little over protective, but what "older" brother isn't? Besides being disconnected from society, her childhood was normal.
When she was seventeen, though, everything changed. That was the year her life was turned upside down. She'd been out hiking with Cody, which was something they'd done almost every week. After a few hours, they came to one of Cassie's favorite spots, a rippling brook that tumbled down a hillside and spilled into a peaceful pond, so clear and serene it was like a mirror. The towering pines of the surrounding forest had been reflected in the placid waters, along with the stars. That night it was even prettier. Bathed in the light of a full moon, she'd waded into the cool waters, admiring the waves her movements created as the pond shimmered with moonlight.
Mesmerized, she never even noticed the wolf walking up behind her.The soft lullaby she'd been singing died on her lips and a strangled scream haunted the night air. As she was dragged away, she had to watch her brother panic. He'd tried to chase after her, but it was useless. The last thing she remembered of that night was the look of absolute horror on Cody's face.
After that, everything was confusing. She could recall waking up in a normal house, in a comfortable bed. Blood had stained the sheets, her blood and bandages had been wrapped around her arm and stomach. There had been a man, handsome, young. All she remembered about him was the look of sympathy on his face and his apologies for "changing" her. The wolf never showed up, but the man took care of her. Days passed, maybe a week, before she fully understood what had happened.
By then, though, the werewolf who'd transformed her was long gone. Stranded in the middle of nowhere, she'd gathered what little food was left in the cupboards and had set off into the woods. She walked forever and lost sense of time. Maybe a day passed, maybe more, but eventually, her father found her. When she returned home, everyone was surprised. They'd all taken her for dead and the funeral was scheduled to take place in two days. Everyone cried hen they saw her. Everyone held her and refused to let go. Everyone wanted things to be normal, but no one understood why they couldn't be. No one but Cassie.
A couple of weeks went by, and her birthday came and went. By then, she'd told Cody about the werewolf. He hadn't believed her at first, but when he'd seen how fast she could run, it was impossible to deny the truth. Together, brother and sister moved to the city and performed on the streets. She danced with fire. He was a fire-eater. Everything had been great, but then it happened. her first full-moon. They'd been performing; Cody had just finished his act and she was up, but the show the audience got was not what they'd expected. The human woman before them exploded into a russet colored wolf, fangs and all. Some people screamed and ran. Others gawked and took pictures with their cell-phones, but her brother Cody took their phones. All of them. He'd ushered her into an alley, hiding her there, but he'd forgotten to put out the fire they'd been playing with. Totally freaked, Cassie had been running back and forth from one end of the alley to the next. She knocked the glass bottle containing gasoline onto the pavement and the flames sprung to life. Cody had tried to put it out, to save his sister, but he'd caught fire and was incinerated to nothing more than a pile of ash and a silver chain. Cassie had taken the cross and left. There was nothing else she could have done.
Yo', my name is Keila, and I've been the walking dead for 17 years, and I've been grave robbing for 2 years, I dug up lovely Crimson Kiss by means of google and adore it.
001. ANYTHING ELSE?• Not that I can think of. 002. ROLE PLAY SAMPLE•
An inferno of flames raged in front of her. Piercing through the cackling fire was an agonized howl. The blood-curdling wail echoed through the alley, busting through walls and filling the streets. In the darkness, the light flickering from the flames illuminated the shape of a wolf in a soft glow. As hell burned and consumed her brother, Cassie could do nothing. Her paws were glued to the ground.
Flames danced in wolf's eyes as she helplessly watched her brother perish. A few seconds passed, and then voices forced themselves to be heard about the crackles of fire and Cody's desperate screams. There was the distinct click of a gun being cocked, and then the scent of at least a dozen people. Footsteps thudding on the pavement were getting louder and louder. She was running out of time. Leaning into the fire, the russet toned wolf snatched a silver chain off her brother's neck and backed away. As she turned to leave, Cody grabbed her leg.
Dreading what would met her eye, Cassie glanced over her shoulder. Blackened and falling, charred skin covered his body. His clothes were in shreds. Pain was etched on his usually joyful face, and a permanent scream was carved on his lips, but what hurt the most was the look in his eyes. Disbelief. Pain. Hope. He wanted her to save him, but she couldn't. Then, suddenly, what was left of his skin started melting, pooling on the ground. A terrified yell drowned out the rest of the world.
Jolted awake, Cassie's eyes snapped open. Ragged breaths violently shook her body and sweat drenched her feverish skin. There was pressure on her shoulders, and it took her a moment to realize that someone was holding her. After letting her eyes wander, she finally focused on the person in front of her. As eye contact was made, a worried voice broke the silence.
'Are you alright, miss?' It was a man, probably in his late thirties. He was wearing a uniform and the badge on his shirt marked him as a police officer.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Cassie croaked and glanced around her once more. She was sitting on a park bench in the middle of the night. Stars glittered overhead and crickets chirped in the distance. There was no telling how long she'd been passed out. Finally remembering the officer, she looked back. By the look on his face, he hadn't believed her.
"Are you sure? I can give you a ride home." He looked friendly, but looks were deceiving.
"Yes," Cassie firmly answered. "I'll be alright. It was just a dream." She plucked the purse from her lap, dug through it to make sure nothing was stolen, then ducked out of the cop's grasp. Before he could stop her, she briskly started walking out of the park. Her converse thudded on the ground and her crimson hair rippled as she picked up her pace. Cloaked in shadows, she made her way home. The night was almost over, then would come morning, which could only get worse.
