002. HAIR• Gemma is very well known, and easy spotted because of her hair. It's very long and very blonde. Gemma still isn't used to the concept of a hair stylist, so she never does anything to it.

009. PERSONALITY OVERVIEW•
Gemma is often seen as quite the odd girl. She can go from being extremely shy to overly extroverted in a matter of minutes. She is a gorgeous girl who takes advantage of her looks to get pretty much whatever she wants. For almost one hundred years she has been relocating every 5 years to deter any unwanted attention as to why she doesn't seem to age, or why she stays inside (for the most part/ except on cloudy days) in the day.

One hundred years to the day from when Gemma was changed, she was in danger. She's not sure who wants her dead, but someone does. She was attacked and left for dead, which isn't easy to do to such an aged vampire. Her memory from that night is gone, as are bits and pieces of her past. Gemma has no real idea where she came from, she only knows her name because she wandered into the city when she healed, and someone recognized her and seemed shocked to see her. That was the night she knew that she couldn't trust anyone, and she doesn't. The only one she trusts with everything in the world is her kitty, Hepburn. She's not sure what the kitty is, but she's not a mortal, because she's been with Gemma for the 100 years she's been wandering.

All in all, Gemma is a very sweet girl, she knows she shouldn't be, because she shouldn't be trusting anyone, not just yet, maybe never. Gemma never knows when or how, but she is quite sure that her past (whatever it was) is going to catch up with her sooner or later.

005. HISTORY OVERVIEW•
Gemma Darling introduces herself as Gemma, age 21 (she’s really 18) and single. She says that she was born in England and moved to the states as a young child, hence the slight British accent. Gemma was really born nearly 200 years ago, and re-born as the living dead almost 180 years ago. She was born and raised by her mother in a small village in Europe; her father was an abusive man who left the village shortly after beating Gemma’s mother and leaving her for dead after finding out that she was pregnant.
Gemma grew up happily with her 5 older siblings Jojo, Lila, Madison, Amelia and Ethan and their mother. Shortly after Gemma’s 18th birthday, a new man moved to town, his name was Alexander. Alexander was unrealistically beautiful, and he had a way about him that made him seem almost unreal. Every single girl in the village wanted him, and he only had eyes for Gemma.

Gemma and Alexander were smitten. They spent all day, everyday together and began talking about marriage. Until, one night Gemma awoke to find Alexander on top of her with… FANGS?! And blood dripping from his mouth…. He waited to make the town comfortable with him and then destroyed the entire town. He killed everyone. Everyone except Gemma and Lila, he was going to make these two beauties his own personal pets, so he turned them into vampires like himself. Gemma felt so responsible for his actions, she felt as if he came for her, and everyone died because of her.

Gemma and Lila lived with Alexander and accepted their new lives, and even enjoyed them. They both loved feeling so powerful and in control. Anytime anyone tried to take advantage of them they would simply destroy him/her. They loved their new found evil sides, parts of themselves they didn’t even know existed! Everything was perfect until the night they were attacked. Alexander had been travelling for years. Entering towns and seducing the most beautiful girl there, and eventually killing everyone except for her. He even turned several men. Alexander was probably the main target during the attack, but Lila and Gemma were beat beyond recognition as well. Gemma hasn’t seen either Alexander or her only living relative, Lila since that fateful night. She managed to cover herself in dirt and drag herself underneath a tree, and that was where she lay, for several nights.
When Gemma awoke she found she was 100% healed and alone, alone apart from a small kitten that was curled up next to her. She named her small kitty Hepburn, and the kitty hasn’t left her side ever since. Gemma also realized that she had no idea who had attacked them, or how it went. She wasn’t sure how many there were, she wasn’t sure if they had defeated any of the attackers, and most importantly, she wasn’t sure if her maker or her sister were alive. Since then, Gemma has spent her life on the run, moving every few years so that she doesn’t draw too much attention.

Right now, her residence of choice? Gemma has been enjoying living in the bustling city, not only does she enjoy the city itself, but she loves not being as noticed because there are so many people. As for what she’s doing now, she’s trying to go on with her life, memory-free and without another brutal attack. She does NOT want to remember the events of that tragic break in her “perfect” new life. She hopes that the one man/vampire she’s ever loved is alive, along with her sister… But she doesn’t want to know if they aren’t.

Gemma and her kitty Hepburn are just moving into a new place in NY, NY. She had been living in Texas, but she’d been there 7 years, and people starting talking about how youthful she looked for being 28 so, although she loved Arlen, she realized that it was time for a change.
“New York is beautiful, isn’t it Hepburn! It really is as big as everyone says it is, super busy too…. It’s like every resident is in a constant rush…. Human are so silly!”
Gemma’s new home sweet home is an uber modern New York City loft. It’s very close to Times Square, very in the middle of the grand city’s action. Gemma usually prefers to stay away from big cities, but decided to try it, at least for a little while. After all, New York has many bars, straight and gay, and Gemma has been really lonely lately… Looking for some company!
“Well kitty, maybe it’ll be different in the big city, maybe I can go unnoticed enough to stay here longer than usual! Well, I’m going out sweetums, be good!”
Gemma had a decorator come in before her move, so that her place would be ready for herself and Hepburn.

When you’ve been alive for 200 years, you accumulate enough money that you can waste it on silly things like that. Her whole home is themed to be super modern, and very clean looking. But for now, Gemma didn’t have time to admire her beautiful home, she just wanted attention like she used to get all the time, so she quickly took out her Blackberry (which she still isn’t really used to) and googled the best bar in New York, preferably gay because recently, she’d been hoping for the company of a loving girl.
