009. PERSONALITY OVERVIEW•
Griffin has had many trials in his life, and they don’t really reflect through his personality. He goes from day to day with the same outlook. Happy, friendly and outgoing. He’s not afraid to meet new people, he has put his past behind himself and does not wish to relive it or think about it. He looks forward to the future and hopes that this will all be for the best. He isn’t a great business mind, which is why Shane, takes care of the business of Darfore. Griff can’t and doesn’t really bother himself with the details of the business, but when he needs to be somewhere to cover Shane’s back, he’s there, no questions asked.

Griffin takes his responsibilities with a grain of salt, slacking where he thinks he can, all the time. He doesn’t often deal well with silence, his stereo is always on. He loves cars, and has grown to know them well. He loves living in the city, but prefers room to roam, so he always gets a large apartment or home to stay in no matter where he is. Griffin is a simple guy, who had been in the wrong place at the wrong time, and has grown to understand and appreciate what a wonderful second chance he was given. And he believes that he would not give it back, but at the same time, he does hate the whole drinking blood thing. That part kind of sucks.

005. HISTORY OVERVIEW•

Born and raised in Ireland, Griffin was one of many children in the O’Clery clan. His mother had had eight children, and he was fourth in the bunch. Griffin was a simple boy, he did as he was told, helped where he needed to help and protected what needed to be protected. He was always a good boy. His father loved him, but only as much as a man with eight children and a wife could love, and his mother, she was wonderful, but cared more for her two baby twins the most. Griffin was always with his siblings, they all stuck together.

Griffin however, was kidnapped one night, walking home from the village alone with a pack of candles his mother had sent him to go get. He was kidnapped and taken as a prisoner by a coven of vampires. He was 15 at the time. He was taken and abused, in many ways. He was their blood doll for many years. Drunk from, physically abused, mentally abused and sexually. Griffin has been through a lot. And he does not talk of those dark times in his life when all he wished for was death. Nothing would have pleased him more in that dark dungeon they kept him in, than the sweet release of death.

Then, one day, long into the future, or so he had thought at that time, the castle was stormed by a group of hunters, vampire hunters. Griffin took this chance to flee, but in his attempt he was stopped by one of the females, one that favored him. And she took him, and she began to drain him completely. Shane, his now friend and confidant wounded her, just as she was about to take the last of Griffins life’s blood and she let him go and fled. Shane then went to help Griffin, whom begged him, for he could tell at that time that Shane was a vampire, Griffin begged Shane to turn him, make him one of them so that he too could fight, and stop what happened to him from happening to anyone else.

Shane, reluctantly agreed and change Griffin. Shane took Griffin under his wing so to speak and now the two are partners, friends and brothers. Griffin would be there to help Shane always, he owes him everything. After Griffin was changed into a vampire, he has not known a single day of torture like he had suffered at the hands of that coven…
