The Past;
Growing up in the state of California, life was a bit tough.
Being the 1st born, Casey had to take action when she heard about a little brother coming on board.
She passed Kindergarten, that was when her brother was born.
Named after his father, Travis was the baby bro'.
Being taken care of his mother, and switched off to be taken care of by his father at night.
Casey and Travis, both being raised very well, Taught very well.

Casey was growing up more and more, and passing each grade more and more. While Travis was just starting, Casey was going into High school. Their mother always taking care of them, making sure they were healthy, always having food in the house. Keeping them groomed was important for their mother too. Travis, their father, was one to take care of them at night. Travis sometimes woke his sister, mother, and father up at night, from having nightmares.

The Present; Also the change.
Entering High school, Casey had choices to make. But during the summer, her father had a break for atleast a week. So, Camping in the woods, is what he decided. Packing up, being ready to go. They arrived their in about 2 hours. Her younger brother was whining, so Casey's mother took him in her hands. She distracted him with a frisbee. Casey was given the task, to go fishing for dinner. So grabbing one of the rods, that she had brought on the trip. She looked around for the nearest lake.

Finding one, she began to slip the bait onto the rod. Positioning herself, she tilted the hat she was wearing and casted quietly into the lake. Hoping to find a fish sometime soon.

`5 minutes went by`
No sign of fish yet, a little tugging but that was possibly by the water. A crumbling sound came from one of the bushes Casey was around. It became louder as it got closer. Casey tried to ignore it, but it just kept getting louder and more obnoxious. She felt unsure to go back or not. Continuing to fish, she felt the sound quiet down. Looking to her side, she felt something move behind her. Breathing slowly but somewhat heavily, she turned around to see something with bright eyes, an evil smile, and Casey dropped her rod, and tried to run. But the thing, whatever it was caught her, and bit her deeply. Casey screamed, cried, and moaned in pain. She didn't know what the thing was but it definitely made her feel different. It had fangs and all, and the speed... It had to be a Vampire, Casey didn't know what to do. And if she ran back to her parents now they'd rush her to a hospital and think she was a freak. Falling to her knees, she felt the Vampire get off her and rush away. Crying in pain, she could feel the difference...

Casey squirmed as she found herself somewhere, no where possibly even near her. Blinking she rubbed her eyes, and yawned. The taste of something sweet was lingering in her mouth. She tasted it a bit, and found out that it was blood. Struggling a bit to stand up, Casey pulled the leaves out of her hair gently, licked her lips, and the side of her cheek. She had to get back to her family, but no. She couldn't, if she went back, they would possibly be gone, or they'd think that she was attacked by something, not human... Not that she even was a human anymore.

Standing up entirely, she shook her head. It still felt like she was spinning, dizzy much? Yes.
What would her friends think? Most importantly what would her family think. Looking around, Casey had an idea. She would "Pretend" she was still human. Finding a green leaf, she found no poison ivy detected. Wiping her neck gently, she tossed the leaf. Now to find her rod.

Searching for her rod was easy enough, grabbing it, she found her hat along. Trying to sense out with direction, her camp site was up at, she found the direction and headed the way it lead. Pacing quickly, she found her parents, and her little brother.

"Did you get the fish?" She heard her father asked.

"Yes, here." She looked at the rod, to actually find fish on the hook. It must of been the Vampire, he must of wanted her to go back... As akward as it was, she looked at her family then to the truck they had.

"Dad, can I use your laptop, I want to look up something..." She asked.

"Sure sure, just no looking up anything bad got it?" She heard him say to her.

"Got it." She pulled out the laptop, and began to research up Vampires.
