This was probably not the best idea, Mia thought to herself as she watched all the humans swaying their bodies to the beat, so unsuspecting, and so naive. At least, she assumed most of them were. Mia shouldn't be here. Shouldn't be putting them at risk, but she couldn't help herself. She longed for the blood that ran through the humans' veins, spreading throughout their feeble bodies fast and furious, just begging for Mia to sink her teeth into one of the humans' necks. She was a new vampire, and had yet to learn all the tricks of the trade, she did know one thing however, that her diet had drastically changed.
She took a sip from her drink, averting her eyes from the humans. Bleh. The alcohol no longer tasted as good as it used to. Now all she wanted was blood. That was all Mia wanted to taste anymore. She was still trying to accept it. Still trying to accept the fact that she wasn't human anymore, that she never would be. It was so odd to think about, so strange. To think she'd been just another of those dancing humans a couple days ago and now...she was a monster. Something straight out of a horror film. It was all Mark's fault! She hated him now, and still wanted to find him. That's why she'd come to this club almost every night since her change. This was where it first happened. This was the place where Mia got turned into a monster, and she was sure Mark would come back here, and when he did, she'd be waiting for him.
Mia inhaled deeply, and the smell of all the blood in the room was almost overwhelming. She wondered if any other vampires were here, but she knew that even if they were she wouldn't talk to them. Mia never had been a very socialable person. Hell, she wouldn't even be in this club right now if not for Marcus. Sighing, she tried to get a hold of herself, but she knew her control wouldn't last for long. She wanted blood; Mia was practically addicted to the stuff now, and she wanted it now. Glancing around the bar, Mia wondered if she could lure one of these humans outside and drink their blood. She'd only take a little, not enough to harm them like Mark did to her. Mia shifted in her seat, trying to pick out one of the humans. She'd only done this a couple times, so it wasn't like she was an expert or anything yet. She spotted a young blond hanging around the bar, and figured she was just as good as anyone.
