Melody sighed to herself as she took the last drag from her cigarette. She bit her lower lip, and closed her eyes. Leaning against the railing on the patio, she wanted to go home. Go home, take a nice warm shower and then curl up in bed and fall asleep reading her copy of Alice in Wonderland. She loved that book, and always used it as a comfort tool. She didn’t completely know what was going to happen tonight. She didn’t know what was going to go down and if this was going to be a good thing or a bad thing, but she knew she wanted to do this. Kind of.

She took a deep breath and then sighed, releasing it. Then she put the cigarette out into the ash tray next to the door as she walked back into the lounge. Her heels clicked across the laminate floor as she made her way back to the table that the two were sitting at. As she moved, Joy came up to her and handed her her drink. “Here Melody… Enjoy…” Joy said with a smile. Melody smiled and took the drink, the cold glass felt good on her skin. She was happy to have a drink in her hand. “Thanks…” She said and then took a sip from the black straw that was in the drink. The cold liquid helping cool the warmth in her throat and soothing the parched feeling that she often got from working here.

Melody slipped through the crowds and came up to the table just in time to hear that last bit of Eliot’s words. "………that way." Melody smiled at the two. “Hello…. I was told that you requested my company?” She said and then took a seat next to Eliot, wanting to sit farther away from Kalina. She slipped out of her heals and then curled up, moving her feet under her as she got comfortable in the chair. It was one of those nice, suede tan ones so it wasn’t too hard to get comfortable in it, but she still managed to do so quickly. Facing both of them but sitting next to Eliot on the chair that was unoccupied . She smiled at the two and took a sip from her drink….

Eliot's had been focused solely on Kalina, his thoughts concentrated on quickly thinking through what he was saying to her, and did not notice Melody approaching them until she was just steps away, only an instant before she was right there. His charming smile flickered, and slipped ever so slightly, when it suddenly occurred to him that she had almost certainly heard some of what he had said. But he didn't miss a beat, recovering his composure, and giving her a friendly grin. “Hello…. I was told that you requested my company?” The words caught him totally by surprise, and he stared as she sat down, now taken utterly aback. That was starting to be common for him tonight.

For a second he was at a loss finding anything to say, before his instincts bypassed his stunned brain, making him speak without really thinking. "If it pleases you, I welcome you to join us, for your company would be greatly enjoyed." He glanced briefly at Kalina from the corner of his eye, to see her expression, trying to read her reaction. Clearly she had arranged for this to happen, and she had wished the actual event to come unexpected. He knew her well enough that he should have been prepared, but she was skilled in the games she played, and he needed to be at his best if he wished to match her. That did not seem promising for him tonight.

He sighed slightly, deciding to surrender gracefully at least for the moment, and simply let himself be drawn along the path that Kalina wished to lead him down. Clearing his throat, he took a pull from the drink in his glass, then turned his full gaze thoughtfully on Melody. "I sincerely hope you willing to pardon my poor manner of obtaining this introduction, but I must admit I spoke most admiringly of you..." He considered what to say a moment before he continued "and Kalina has the greatest consideration, for even my unspoken wishes, and she is most efficient." Eliot again glanced at Kalina from the corner of his eye, knowing she hadn't missed his implication this was all her doing, then looked back at Melody, wondering how much of their conversation she had caught.

Kalina sat, thinking about everything that was going on, and was pleased with herself. "Hmm..." She watched him pick up his drink, and then look at her. Her blue eyes watched his movements, she bit her bottom lip. "Certainly. If she decides to join, I'd be willing... so long as it's because she wants to herself. No trickery, nothing dishonest, no... forcing things along." She looked at him, smiled a little and then looked down at her feet. The hot pink boots that stretched over her skin, all the way up to her thigh. She was pleased. And this would all work out well. Kalina licked her lips and then started chewing on her bottom lip.

"Otherwise, I'd rather she not be involved... I don't like taking advantage of people in that way." As he spoke, Melody moved up from behind Kalina, and Kalina was treated to the sweet smell that comes from the girl. Kalina closed her eyes as the girl sat down. “Hello…. I was told that you requested my company?” Then, opened her eyes and smiled, she looked over Melody and where she chose to sit. She smiled at her, "If it pleases you, I welcome you to join us, for your company would be greatly enjoyed." Kalina smiled, noticing the glance that Eliot threw her. She smiled sweetly at him, Kalina’s attention moving away quickly from Eliot to her drink as she took a sip from the drink which was slowly beginning to empty. .

"I sincerely hope you willing to pardon my poor manner of obtaining this introduction, but I must admit I spoke most admiringly of you..." Kalina smiled a little, looking back at Melody and taking in her simple beauty. She was a stunning creature… "and Kalina has the greatest consideration, for even my unspoken wishes, and she is most efficient." Kalina smiled at Eliot, “I do hope it is alright for you to stay and sit with us, Melody. I hope we are not inconveniencing you in anyway?” She asked sweetly as she leaned forward a little bit, making sure to keep her robe closed. She didn’t want to make this young girl uncomfortable.. yet…

She watched her, watched the young brunette with a close eye. Looking for hidden tell tales of her emotions. But it was hard to read this one, she must be extremely sheltered. Kalina smiled slowly, sweetly and then began to look at the girl in a whole other fashion. Watching her, seeing the flow of her hair, the curve of her body, the scent of her still hung in the air around her. The scent of flowers, some kind of flower… she wasn’t sure which one. And the hint of something citrusy. It was a tingling new scent that stuck in her nostrils and played with her mind some. It led her mind down odd hallways, odd thoughts and odd areas of her mind. It was something that was…. Sweet.

Melody smiled a both of them, sweetly. She decided that if she was going to be here, she might as well try and have a good time for it. "If it pleases you, I welcome you to join us, for your company would be greatly enjoyed." She smiled at Eliot, he had an old way of speaking, it was odd, but endearing. She would have to get use to it. Then she caught that he looked at Kalina, why however, she didn't know. All she knew was that it was strange. Melody sipped at her drink again. Melody blinked in shock... why? She had barely even spoken to him and she had only delivered a few drinks and his food. Why would he speak so admiringly of her for those actions? She was a little unsure of herself now. But at the same time, she knew. Kalina didn't care if Melody was a good waitress, Kalina only knew that Melody was an attractive girl. "and Kalina has the greatest consideration, for even my unspoken wishes, and she is most efficient." She nodded, then looked at Kalina, getting the hint, but she didn't need it. “I do hope it is alright for you to stay and sit with us, Melody. I hope we are not inconveniencing you in anyway?” Melody smiled a little.

"No, I didn't really have anything to do after work today besides get some sleep and then maybe study a little." She smiled a little, she did have a paper due next week, but that was an entirely different affair now. Now she had to play to her bosses whims just to keep a job she didn't need. She sighed and took another sip from her drink. It was odd to be sitting out in public like this drinking, she wasn't even 21 yet, but she knew how Kalina worked, and this was not a problem for her. Plus, Melody did have a fake ID but still. "So... " She said a little uncomfortable by the silence, she didn't know what to fill the silence with at all....
